"You don't have to use that excuse, you know."
Yu looked over at Moonsong. Blankly, at first, as if trying to discern whether or not she had said exactly what he thought she'd said. Confirming that she had, indeed, said exactly what he though the man's eyes closed, his head tilting to the side as a faint smile tugged at his lips as he tried to suppress both his amusement and his disappoint.
"Right. Bed. Now."
As Moonsong made her request, Yugam couldn't help but make note of how strange it was that she so willingly binding herself to the bed. Most people, when faced with restraints, were too eager to escape or avoid them. They struggled against them, even when at play. And even still, this most unusual sight played out before the man, of a the woman tying herself to the bed with iron shackles and cotton bite. She either was desperate for what was to come, or she trusted the man implicitly. Or both.
Yugam didn't answer Moonsong's request immediately, a fact she probably found a bit discomforting as the man leaned over her and tied in her last free limb to the bed, splaying her spread eagle across the mattress. The grabbed the ends of the rolled towel, shifted it slightly.
"Bite down again," the man ordered. When he was satisfied that Moonsong wasn't gonna swallow her own tongue, the man straightened his back and nodded.
"Don't worry, you're in good hands," the man promised before turning around and picking uip the reference photo to examine it one more.
"Good hands that've never done this before..."
The experience might've been familiar to Moonsong, if she could recall anything from the time that Yugam had healed her. Except this was far more violent. Muscles were torn apart intentionally, bones broken, shattered, reshaped. Over and over again, the process was repeated across Moonsong's body, the restructuring of her form and features being a far more intensive process now the she had exited the character creator. But doable nonetheless.
It was hours before Yu stopped and collapsed into the chair beside the bed, wiping the sweat that poured down his face away.
"That was the easy part," the man joked with a short chuckle as he picked up one of the jugs of water and took a long draught from the porcelain receptacle.
The jar parted from the man's lips and the man looked over at Moonsong, her new face and shape as perfect as any mortal could have managed.
"You should drink some water too," the man said, setting the jar down and standing, going over to girl and taking the bite from out of her mouth, and unshackling her arms, and then her legs.
"How you feelin' so far?" Yugam asked as he lifted the jar and went to the table. He grabbed one of the cups and poured some water in before going back to the bed and sitting beside Moonsong, handing her the cup.
"We don't have to keep going ya know. We can finish up tomorrow if it's all too much for you."
