As Yu lay there on the ground dying he felt a foot nudge him in the rib cage, followed by a pair of voices, only one of whom he recognized. "Great, the devil's come to claim her due," Yugam muttered acerbically as his eyes swiveled in his school to glare over at Fiora. Taking Ronja's hand, however, the man smiled at her as he allowed her to help him to his feet. "So, you're Ronja. It's great to finally meet you," he said, shaking her hand before finally letting go.

Having been sufficiently revived to go back to his solemn duty to evaporating the milk the man did...exactly that...stirring the pot constantly so as to not burn the milk.

"Maybe Yu...gam...and I aren't so different after all." the sound of his name being uttered so haltingly was like spiders crawling across the man's skin, making him freeze up and sending a chill down his back. "I can tell. You too fear The Coquito..."

Wait...

Yu leaned in close towards the foxgirl, "Wait, you too?" the man asked. Cynna nodded, before producing a small bottle of whiskey. "Oh, Panagia, efxaristo," the man said, doing his cross upon seeing the bottle.

"~What should we toast to, as an excuse to take a little break~?"
"Mm, an end to conflict?"
the man suggested. That was supposedly the last shot of the Wintersday War after all.

"Great, the devil's come to claim her due,"
"Devil? Nah, I just like to kick you when you are down."
She replied with a solemn smile closer to a taunt as she eyed him back. As usual, he had a glare directed to her, the only expression his face could muster when it came to herself, be it ingame or out of it.

"Felt like a good idea to do something less dangerous this time around, and I mean I couldn't say no to a drink, even if I have to work for it. And then you go starting wars with fox ears over there." Fiora pointed back at Cynna. Well, at least he knew to keep his manners with the magia, taking her offer even while keeping things brief and professional. At arm's reach, like he usually did things around the game despite having her own good word spread about Ronja.

The bluenette though had a completely different reaction to her commentaries, one that got a brow quirked up out of the knightess. "Everything we do in this game is dangerous so that ain't new." She retorted, folding her arms under her bust.

"Besides... You were the one that came for Ronja, she only managed to help you because you helped her, so... It was both of us... And..." Followed by a scowl and a frown from the magia.

"Ronja calm dow-" Apprehension took over her just then, with Fiora pushing herself off the counter to try and defuse the situation before they made a scene.
"Why are you even bringing it up anyway?!"

Silence followed that cyan gas leak that went out of Ronja's ears, and a harsh expression coated her face like a veil, squinting her eyes as she resumed her approach and leaned down to stroke these vibrant blue, flowing locks from the smaller woman.

"You cool yet? Need me to twist a valve to let the pressure out?" If she's joking or not, it would be hard to tell. Specially with how serious she sounded right now. "It didn't end in a tragedy. We saved an old man and returned him with his wife. Wasn't it a good ending?" There was a desire to say more on top of that, and the way her lips paused before muttering another word were a hint of such. Yet she kept it short instead of souring the mood any further. Pulling Ronja's bangs upwards, she planted a kiss on her forehead then stood back up.

"Need any help with that? We work better as a team, and I don't want to break more coconuts if I'm honest." A quick attempt to change the subject entirely with a newfound smile and a switch in her mood.

"Coquito coquito. Diminutive of coconut, puerto rican eggnog. Mama's favourite."

"Hm, I don't know if I would call it my favorite."
The familiar voice caused the woman to look to her right. It was Tick, and wherever Tick is, Tock is certainly also there to complete the pair. And looks like she was already there, conversing with Kyanna.

"It's not official until we celebrate and mama blesses you two. Isn't that right, Evie?"

"I don't know what this is about,"
She tilted her head, waiting for some kind of an answer before glancing at @Kyanna Wynne. "Oh yeah, looks like you've already acquainted yourself with both of my daughters, Kyanna."

Eva patted the twins @Tick Tock on the head while explaining, before suddenly pulling out the tray from the oven with the speed of light. "Exactly 20 minutes, zero seconds."

The woman placed the tray on the table, letting the perfectly baked coconut rest at room temperature while watching the others converse.

Trying to poke holes in coconuts with a katana wasn't easy, but with his delicate swordsmanship and Slash Weapons Mastery, Schilva managed as well as anyone else. To a degree.

Awkwardly lining up the point of his sword with each of the coconut's eyes, one could have mistaken him for a lost pool player missing a cue with the way he was wielding the deadly weapon in the kitchen. When @Ash Vargold deigned to point out his bizarre conduct, Schilva's self-assuredness overrode his common sense easily as he saw very little wrong with what he was doing.

Has nobody ever told you 'it's not about the size of your sword, it's about how you use it'? Anyway, just...watch and learn.

Truth was, Mylar himself had never actually handled a whole raw coconut before. Sure, he'd seen them in supermarkets and...uh, eaten laksa and stuff before, but he always thought splitting a coconut wouldn't be this complicated.

Huh...hmm.

Or hard. Or involve an oven.

Ash watched @Schilva Flasch trying and somehow successfully piercing the coconut with a katana. He also gave him space as he did so, because he did not want to be around him if he slipped.

"What I'm 'watching' and 'learning' is that you're gonna lose a toe when that thing skips off the hull."

He went and grabbed a knife of his own, this one a shorter paring knife. He picked up one of the coconuts, took a moment to find the holes, and carefully began to half-stab, half-drill into the fruit. Sure, he also had Slash Weapons to keep his hands steady, but he also had experience, which was far more valuable here. Not specifically with coconuts, but with hard food in general.

"You're trying to use a slashing tool when you really need a piercing tool. Katanas have all their good steel on the cutting edge - they're not designed to punch holes through things."

He brushed some stray fiber away from the new perforations in the coconut, set it over a container to start draining, and began on the next one.

It was hard going but ultimately, Schilva had worked his way through another coconut, all toes intact. Not one to be caught without a last word, Schilva triumphantly waves his successful product in the air in front of his green-maned critic (@Ash Vargold). The audacity, frankly, to insinuate that SCHILVA FLASH didn't understand what his signature weapons did!

Whose toes now? Surely you don't mean mine! I know perfectly good and well what a katana's used for, see? Mine can pierce things quite alright, thank you.

Unaware of his continued euphemisms, Schilva moves back to the stack he'd set up shop next to, poking down with the point of his sword as he steadies the next coconut between his feet. Ash may be right, this idiot was going to lose a foot sooner or later like this...

Ash couldn't help but roll his eyes as the swordsman (@Schilva Flasch) declared his triumph over the fruit, waving it around like it wasn't full of water and potential energy, ready to dump both on the first unsuspecting skull it struck. There was something so ridiculous about the sight that he had to cover his mouth to suppress a smile.

"Is that so...?"

He shook his head as the swordsman started to do the same thing with his next coconut before continuing with his own. He had far less aplomb in his approach, but it was faster and safer.

"Funny. I don't recall ever reading something saying katanas were used for common kitchen tasks."

"Boyfriend?"
"Yes, Vashti, boyfriend."
"...right."

An amused look lingered on the ranger’s eyes as she watched the vixen look back at Yugam while deep in thought, causing Lúthien to wonder just what on Arcia could’ve happened for Vashti to seem so wary of the man in the first place. "Wanna catch up after all of this is over? I can introduce you to my other friends, I’m sure you’d get along with them—especially Fiora~" The blonde nudged her head in the direction of the elf and the magia as they had approached, a grin on her lips before the knightest’s words caught Lúthien’s attention.

"Don't lie to the rest of the gang around here."
"Me, lie to the gang? Why never Fio, perish the thought~!"

A dramatic flair was added to her voice as the ranger spoke, her words soon followed by a light chuckle as she continued to work with the coconuts. While the magnitude of work they’d have to do today had just started to sink into her elven mind, Lúthien could at least find comfort in the presence of her friends—and of course anyone else that had shown up with the intention of helping out.

She watched Fiora’s attempt to mimic her movements as the white haired elf went for a coconut of her own, before the taller woman plunged her knife too hard and too deep. The coconut split in half from the force, the water within spilling onto the table and the floor below. "No biggie, at least whoever brought the coconuts in made sure to get a lot of extras… but definitely dial it back two like a two or three on the next attempt?" No use getting angry over accidents, especially when it was clear Fiora hadn’t meant to purposely fuck it up. Again the ranger went through the motions, slower this time as she showed Fiora how to properly handle it, before the voice of Ronja caught Lúthien’s attention while the magia busied herself with part of the evaporated milk.

"You are really protective of him, huh, Luthy?"
"N-Not really…"
"That's really cute."

Her voice faltered for a moment before the blonde clamped her lips shut as a rosy hue quickly colored her cheeks, the girl now aware of a tickling sensation at the tip of her elven ears from the heat that rushed into them too. Instead she opted to listen as Fiora relegated one of the adventures the pair had been on, a soft chuckle escaping Lúthien upon seeing Ronja’s reaction. "For once I believe every word you just said, Fio~ I’ve lost count of the times I would’ve probably bit it out there had Ronja not been around with one of her cool inventions to get us out of sticky situations." The magia might be tiny, but her size didn’t mean that the blue-haired girl couldn’t keep up with the rest—and anyone that looked down on her would certainly be in for a surprise.

Soon though it seemed things had gotten a bit serious between the pair, the scowl on the bluenette’s face not one Lúthien was used to seeing. In stepped Fiora, attempting to do some form of damage control, but before the elf could get a couple of words the sound of a teapot seemingly reaching its peak echoed around them—accompanied by a cyan-ish steam coming out of Ronja’s ears.

"... Oh..."
"... oh."

Their exclamations were for entirely different reasons, with the elf’s hand reaching up to cover her lips seconds after to stifle an incoming laugh at the scene she’d just witnessed. Deciding to give Fiora and Ronja some space for the time being she’d stepped away from the table under the pretext of needing something from somewhere else, taking the chance to look around the lobby at the progress others were achieving.

Three figures had joined them by now, two humans and a magia from what Lúthien could tell, and the blonde waved at the trio welcomingly… before pausing as she noticed the fake glasses with a big fake nose/mustache and fake hairy brows combo on the latter. I’m… not even going to ask about that. Nope. She had far enough things to keep track of and worry about today, no more space on her proverbially full plate to figure out what was going on over there.

Besides it looked like the white haired woman had things under control for the most part, she’d trust Eva to keep Kyanna and Tick Tock on track.

Not far from them Lúthien noticed the young fox girl leap back as a coconut splashed some of its water, before her quietly watching as Cynna neared Yugam—this time no snowball in hand. It seemed the two had managed to make peace after all, something that relieved the blonde, before a peculiar banter between Schilva and Vargold caught the girl’s attention.

"Would you look at that, between all that talk of a katana’s usefulness and piercing skills—" She clapped her hands together to gather the attention of both player, one eyebrow arched high in the air as a smirk remained on the girl’s lips—she hadn’t missed the euphemisms flying around, even if they might have. "—it seems the both of you finished draining the last of them. Time to properly split them now, they still need to go into the ovens and bake for a bit."

The girl pulled one of the now emptied coconuts on the table towards herself as she spoke, her other hand reaching for one of the few large chef knives present in the tables. She twirled the blade along her fingers with practiced ease, adjusting her movements for the weight difference of it compared to her throwing knives, before ensuring a firm grip on the handle as the back of the knife was aligned with the equator of the coconut in her other hand.

Quick and solid hits were given to it, and with each movement the elf made sure to shift the coconut in her palm a bit more to strike a new part, until she’d made one full pass around it. A small crack was now evident in the hard outer shell and, after flipping the knife over so the bladed edge now faced the coconut, Lúthien managed to sink the heel of the blade with apparent ease. The coconut was then placed on the table, a safe grip on its side, before the ranger twisted the knife and a craaack rang out.

One perfectly split coconut now rested on the surface, the cheeky grin on the elf remaining before she carefully grasped the knife by the blade and offered the handle to the other two. "So, who wants to give it a try first~?"

HANDS-ON APPROACH

All necessary ingredients have been outsourced and provided by the League, there's more than enough to go around and the group is expected to make more bottles than just the ones they'll be keeping for themselves. Thanks to @Shadow and the crew that headed to the ❰ Druuk Islands ❱ for bringing back more than enough coconuts on short notice!

The instructions below would've been shared by Lúthien to those available, and if you have any ICly questions feel free to ask the girl—she'll do the best to answer them (within her ability and knowledge).

Additionally if you can think of a creative way to apply a mastery to your roll do let me know OOCly, depending on the approach it could give an advantage, or perhaps additional modifiers to your result. Feel free to tag me on Discord with your questions, promise that I don't bite~ uwu

EVAPORATED MILK
❰ Recipe Description ❱
Instructions:

For every 250mL of ❰ evaporated milk ❱ being made you will need 562.5mL of milk.

Carefully begin to heat the milk in a pot over a medium flame, once it begins to simmer keep it over a medium-low flame. Make sure that you're stirring the contents occasionally, especially in the later stages, since we want to avoid any scorching or unwanted flavors.

Once reduced enough, you'll be able to tell by the creamy color and thicker consistency, and pass it through a sieve as it's being poured into a separate container. Set aside to cool completely.

Completed!

❰ 154/150 ❱

CONDENSED MILK
❰ Recipe Description ❱
Instructions:

For every 250mL of ❰ condensed milk ❱ being made you will need 500mL of milk and 166.7g of sugar.

Add the milk and sugar into a pot and heat over a low flame until all the sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally. Once the mixture has combined, simmer it over a medium-low flame. Do NOT stir once the mix starts to simmer otherwise it can crack and crystalize.

Gently simmer for roughly 30 to 45 minutes or until the milk has darkened to a creamy color, has reduced by half and thickened slightly. If any foam begins to form on the top gently skim it off with a spoon. If there are any sugary bits hanging around the rim of your pot do not stir them into your condensed milk, as this can also crack the mix.

Once ready, remove from the heat and pour into a jar to cool.

❰ 099/250 ❱

CREAM OF COCONUT
❰ Recipe Description ❱
Instructions:

For every 250mL of ❰ cream of coconut ❱ being made you will need 437.5mL of coconut milk, 187.5g of sugar and a pinch of salt.

First we'll start by making coconut milk from the fresh coconuts! Drain the coconut water by poking holes through the 'eyes' and into a glass. Make sure that the liquid inside hasn't gone bad—it should smell sweet without smelling sour. Reserve all of the good coconut water in a jar.

Preheat your oven to 200° C. Place the coconuts on a tray and bake for 20 minutes or until the outer shell begins to crack. Remove and let them cool. Wrap the coconut in a towel and hit it with a hammer, or use the back of a cleaver across the 'equator' of the coconut, to split them open.
Remove the coconut meat, it should separate from the shell easily, and peel away the thin brown skin as much as possible. Cut the flesh into small pieces and add to a large mortar, grind the flesh away with the pestle until it's a pulp.

In a separate pot heat up the reserved coconut water until it's simmering but not boiling. Combine the hot coconut water and coconut pulp in a large container and allow to sit until it's cooled down enough to handle. Carefully pour the mixture into a sieve lined with a towel (set over a large bowl) and tightly squeeze to separate all the liquids from the solids.

Additional instructions will be provided once all the required coconut milk is made by the group.

Combine the coconut milk and sugar together in a large pot; for every 400mL of coconut milk you will use 375g of sugar. Place the pot over a low flame and continue to stir until all the sugar has dissolved.

Once ready, remove from the heat and pour into a jar to cool.

Optional: take the leftover coconut pulp leftover from the coconut milk process and spread it into thin layers on trays. Place into the oven at 100° C for 2 to 3 hours, checking on them periodically until they’re fully dried out and begin to toast.

Remove from the over and let them cool.

New instructions have been added…

Although he had stopped by the Embertorch earlier that day to deliver the Druuk Island coconuts carried by the current off of his eventful longboat trip a week ago, evil wasn't going to vanquish themselves. Fortunately, Shadow managed to quickly make his arrests with only a bruise or two before he returned to the great hearth.

The doors slammed open as a dark coat fluttered in the cold December gusts, only for a shadow to shroud the intruder's form until... Poof! Nothing of the dark-caped vigilante remained except a puff of shadowy smoke swept away by draft within the hearth.

A man in a prim and proper chef outfit revealed himself from the corner, condensed milk in hands, stepping up to the batting range.

But not before he introduced himself to the group already working on producing the drinks.

"Oh hey @Kyanna Wynne and uuh... Fiona (@Fiora Di Angelo). Long time no see, hope you gals are doing alright." he said.

And to the organizer (@Luthien). "How are the coconuts fairing? Hope no one caught the occasional splatter of pirate's blood on those coco boys."

"Hey,"
he turned to the nearest person working on the condensed milk, having caught a horrifying sight of the way in which they were executing that particular step. "IT'S RAW!"

Working his stuck katana free with a concerningly wide flourish, Schilva places the last coconut squarely over a container and rotates it until it begins draining. Puffing and strutting as though he had been the one to accomplish the task more efficiently, Schilva sheathes his blade and pats it adoringly. It's uncertain how the katana itself feels about this.

Well, you should read more! See, what did I tell you? Multipurpose.

As ever, Schilva fails to read between the lines, still firmly of the opinion that he had 'won' the competition that nobody else acknowledged...not even the other competitor (@Ash Vargold). Just as things were about to settle down though, @Luthien's interjection threw fuel on the fire. It was then, with the offering of the knife, that Schilva decided to make the 'competition' everyone else's problem.

Hell to the yeah I'll be going first! Watch this shit-

Grabbing the knife from Luthien, Schilva reeled in with his free hand an emptied coconut. Eyeing up for a few seconds the center of the coconut with the back of the blade, he takes a deep breath and...

COOOOOCONUT SPLITTAAAAAA!!

Shouting out loudly enough that the entire kitchen could probably hear him, Schilva's fingers work swiftly and the knife swings hard, a jackhammering krakrakrakrakrak splintering the shell almost faster than the impacts land. Withdrawing his hand as he completes a full revolution, Schilva flips the knife about and presses the coconut to the table, slamming the blade forwards with a decisive kiai.

AAAAND- DONE!

The two halves roll apart down the center as the knife flicks about again in Schilva's practised hands. Patting his own shoulder smugly, he sets the implement down. That had taken no more than the count of five.

Easy. EA-ZEE.

Ronja averted her gaze at all the teasing that was being directed at her, feeling a burning sensation on her cheeks that staggered her for a moment. "Ronja... Is glad we saved them, yes. And everything after that too." She glanced at Fiora, then back at @Luthien.

"H-Hey, not you too, Luthy!" Ronja protested on the blonde elf, letting out a sigh and rubbing the back of her neck, only to perk up at the sudden approach and kiss from @Fiora Di Angelo.

"Hmm... Yeah... You can help Ronja." She nodded, taking a bottle of milk, and looking at a high shelf, gesturing upwards. "Can you fetch that sugar for Ronja? She will prepare the rest, and if we can divide the work on two pots."

Oh boy.

Ash glanced vaguely in Luthien's direction and mouthed something that could have been why did you have to encourage him? before looking back at the swordsman. (@Schilva Flasch)

"Uh... yeah. Good job. Very cool."

He didn't make a comment on the fact that he had not used his katana for this particular task (and thank god for that). Nor did he try to complete with him on this particular task. Instead, he grabbed some of the newly split coconuts and started on the task of separating the meat from the shell. It was far less stressful work, so long as the other guy didn't decide he could do that with a katana too...

"IT'S RAW!"

Ash winced, the spoon skipping and ruining what could have been a perfect hemisphere of meat. He looked up at the source of the shouting (@Shadow), who was dressed for the job and harassing a chef working on... one of the pots of condensed milk?

He frowned. Interpersonal drama was one thing, but people shouting at each other reminded him of his last experience with this sort of project...

"Oi, Gordon! This isn't some cooking contest! Don't go around shouting at people who're new to the job!

He huffed, then turned back to emptying coconuts. "Raw isn't even the right word for it, geez..."

The mention of her name made pointy ears flicker just a little, in most elven fashion of course, switching eyes between @Luthien and one new face among the group of new faces: the dark fox @Vashti, eyes scanning over to pick up everything at first sight: not so tall, pretty, and apparently one of Yugam's most formidable enemies, if Luth puts her on a higher pedestal compared to the rest of her friend list for this particular scenario.

"If she's up to it," She added, a gloved hand outstretched towards the fox lady for but a second, "Just don't forget to bring lots of food, Luth. Just in case you plan to add more people into this." A statement and an offer, given her own willingness to help with an urgent matter as it is running out of food; A big gal needs big meals, and small portions aren't her style, not ingame at least.

Yet when she least expected it, a new challenger had approached. And this one looked fairly familiar, enough to get muted golden eyes to squint and scan over to the newcomer, the only one who looked like a prim and proper cuisine man. The slip of the tongue upon her name, a mere swap in a singular letter gave a completely different meaning to her. Wasn't that the name of some ogre girl?

"F-ee-AW-R-ah." She replied abruptly, eyeing her up one last time until realization finally dawned to her who @Shadow is. "tryhard grind dude? Kirius, yeah- It's been a while, look at you go." She gave him an approving nod. Not a scratch on him that she could notice at first glance, but given his enthusiasm to get into the most adrenaline-inducing of activities around Terrasphere, she can only hope he's slain a couple of beasts by now. "DIdn't take you for the kind of guy to chill out around here." Double edged statement - Because neither did that cross her mind when thinking about herself.

Self-immersion interrupted by Luth (thankfully so), the ranger had a few share of her own experiences with Ronja, side-glancing the inventor little magia who just blushed against the on-slaught of the elf duo ganged up on her with praise.

"Oh you already seen her use her bots? Yeah she's pretty good at roleplaying engineer. Next time give me a call, would be fun to watch ya' two pellet a wyvern to death." A sight to behold, given the thunderous frost Luth commands, and the piercing railgun beams Ronja blasts holes with.

Fortunately for her, luck started to change a little bit, despite her lack of belief in the term, as @Ronja Bubblyfoot cooled off her systems with a smooch to the forehead and diverted all attention back to the coquito.

"Hmm... Yeah... You can help Ronja."
Fiora exhaled through her nostrils, humoured by how close to being given permission that sounded, eyes going upwards once pointed out to the little one's worst nemesis: a tall shelf.
"Can you fetch that sugar for Ronja? She will prepare the rest, and if we can divide the work on two pots."
"On it."
Fiora just had to stretch her hand up to reach for the sugar. Being tall had it's perks, ones Ronja clearly wanted to exploit with this little task. In old fashioned superstition, the elf placed it over the table rather than handing it over. "See? We make a good team when you ain't shouting at me." Playfully said, right before Fiora pulled over a second pot, ready to begin once Ronja wrapped up this step of the mix.

"Hm, I don't know if I would call it my favorite."
"Neither Tick's"
"Or Tock's!"
"Ew, Coquitos."
"Who likes coquitos anyways?"
"Neither of us, that's for sure! We are only here to do coquito inspection and we must taste them first."
"All of them, at least three sips and two gulps."

The pair rapidfired a conversation between eachother, five seconds being enough for them to blurp all these words to eachother then turn to face @Eva once again, Tock with shock that left her mouth agape, enough for her lower lips to be seen beneath the fake, plastic moustache, while Tick just laughed away at her.
"PFFT, how embarassing, not even mama recognizes you as a grown up yet!"
"Shush,"
Tock frowned, daggers sent back to her twin then back to the taller lady, who already acknowledged the pair as daughters and even presented them to @Kyanna Wynne, with Tock taking the initiative to lock an arm around Kyanna's and pull the timid witch closer. "Why yes we are here because of mama. Tick said to sneak on her while keeping out of sight," Tock nodded a few times, leaning in like someone about to share secrets, while eyeballing Tick, who merely crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. "But Tock is here for you, Corazón."

And with her cheesy romantic line delivered came the motherly praise from Eva in equal sharings to the pair, which amounted to one given the puppet girls and their circumstances.

"Exactly 20 minutes, zero seconds."
"Exactly 1200 seconds,"
Tick said, "Zero minutes." While Tock finished the sentence.
"So, how does Tock's wife and mama know eachother? This but a surprise from fate, Tick cannot believe fate would reunite us- COQUITO SLAYER!" Tick suddently jumped on spot, following the competitive roar from a certain @Schilva Flasch, whose already getting looks by others in the little group of misfits around them, one of particular note being that green haired catlord @Ash Vargold, who Tick zoomed past, joints clanking until she reached the coconut destroyer himself in the middle of the act of defeating his foe with no less than a thousand cuts. Cuts Tick saw as merely one, like a professional samurai would.

"WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Tick yelled, mouth turned to a big O as the puppet pressed her hands over Schilva's left shoulder to hop herself up and get a better glance at the man's deeds, propping herself out of the floor for a second before landing once again on her feet. "How did you do that?! Tick must learn-No, must KNOW of your powers and deeds, Mr.Coco Slayer. Never seen someone ruin a coco that fast!" A hand went to a pocket from her dress that had no pockets. Why? Magic and illusion of course, and then pulled out an imaginary notepad with an imaginary pen that phased out of nowhere, and with the set on hand...

She tapped away at the first page then watched with starry irises back at Schilva, awaiting for a review, a resume, an essay, anything about his story, his powers, his audacity, his immense ego displayed by a self-pat no one ever did to themselves in the past,

a metaphorical first place medal given to Schilva, by Schilva, in Schilva's kitchen, featuring Schilva.

Trying to squirm away from Tock, Kyanna peeked at Eva when she revealed something... "Y-Yeah, I am... Huh? Wait, your daughters?" Kyanna blinked, opening her eyes widely. Well, they were both white-haired, but she didn't expect to notice such a coincidence. Who would know that @Eva was the mother of @Tick Tock... Surely, an unexpected outcome.

As Tock leaned in, Kyanna averted her face slightly, "Corazon..?! But I am not--" She pursed her lips, casting a gaze at Eva, in a small plea for help, before Tock returned her attention to Tick, giving Kyanna breathing room as she tried to continue to work on the cream of coconut, despite being constantly distracted.

Another familiar voice then reached her ears, and she turned with a smile. "Hey, Kirius!" She greeted @Shadow, looking him up and down. "It is a little funny to see you wearing white instead of black." Kyanna pointed out with a small giggle. "But it isn't like I can say much, eh?" She looked down at her clothes and apron, which followed a similar theme.

"Ronja was nearly killed, she wasn't kicking that wyvern to death, she was trying to kick that stupid hunter." Ronja corrected, peeking at Luthien, shaking her head and then peeking back at @Fiora Di Angelo, "Besides, Ronja isn't just roleplaying in here, she is actually doing her work." She added, taking the sugar and finishing off the condensed milk.

With plenty of those being finished, Ronja slipped a sigh and then looked at Fiora.

"Ronja supposes we can start working on something else? There is still a big need for the cream of coco." She murmured, seeing so many had been working on it and there was still not enough. Probably being the hardest of the tasks.

"Alright, let's see..."

As he finds a newly gathered ardent fan (singular) in @Tick Tock, so does Schilva's informally assigned rival admit 'defeat'. Puffing out even further now as he picks up one hemisphere of the halved coconut, Schilva smirks smugly as he begins dictating to the shortish Magia who was eagerly hanging onto his every word.

Ah, nothing like the sweet taste of victory. If you must know, little one, I am SCHILVA FLASCH, pioneer of the Godspeed Slash, Divine Kengo, Evil-Rending Blade who has cut down not one but TWO Boss Foes in my time upon this plane! Splitting a coconut is...how do I put it...less effort than pocketing one's palm.

Quoting a proverbial saying as he begins sliding the blade along the curvature of coconut's split shell, Schilva's self-satisfaction would thankfully blind him to a fact @Ash Vargold in particular would not want him remembering; the swordsman's katana stayed firmly in its sheathe as he continued to work through the next step in preparing a coquito.

Anyway, that's as much as I have to say about what I'm doing here today. Now, let's talk about how I got here...

Distracted by the pandering of a rare soul who was willing to listen to his egotistical ramblings, Schilva doesn't pay as much attention to the task at hand as he should, instead giving more thought to how he should paint himself and his deeds in a maximally valiant light.

"In a world where you can become an immortal god, if you don't even reach out and take hold of the power, why even log in? Speaking of which, would you like your cloak back or a new one? On me this time since I've got a bit of shiny now," he smirked at @Fiora Di Angelo.

And to @Kyanna Wynne, Kiriya laughed. "Well, one shouldn't judge books by their cover. The clothes look cute on you, even if it's out of character," he snickered.

When he jumped back into the drink assembly line, Kiriya was surprised in having his method acting called out by @Ash Vargold. He had half-expected to be able to skirt by while practicing his skills in subterfuge. One might have expected Kiriya to break character, but no.

He doubled down.

Looking at the caenis right in the eyes, Kiriya communicated his boisterous energy with his hands.

Channel. The. Character. Plus Ultra.

"These rare and highly sought-after ingredients did not ask to be butchered on the cutting board," he said before turning to the person flubbing around with the Cream of Coco.

"No, no, no. Stop what you're doing and come here. Look at the coco milk on the table, you're not even squeezing it into the bowl, you donkey. Look. Hold the cheesecloth over the bowl and lower it so when you wring it, it splatters against the container so you don't waste any. Now open all four of your eyes and do it right or apologize to the ingredients!"

Kiriya had to demonstrate to get the person to stop milking the coconut flesh like cow udders when it was their go. Had he just done it himself from the beginning, maybe they wouldn't have wasted so much coconut, but even a donkey can become a world-class chef if they try hard enough. Right?

"So, how does Tock's wife and mama know eachother?"

"We actually first logged into the game at the same time. Burnt a forest and went into the city together."
A weird oversimplification, but it was actually what happened. A lot of training and doing quests together after that. "We end up traveling to Astorea together." Eva crossed her arms, waiting for the coconut to cool down.

"Y-Yeah, I am... Huh? Wait, your daughters?"

She turned to Kyanna, before nodding unenthusiastically. "Yes, we look alike, don't we?" Her hands motioned to Tick and Tock, "They're good daughters."

"But Tock is here for you, Corazón."

"Corazon..?! But I am not--"

As Kyanna shot the woman a plea for help, Eva quickly interrupted. "Tock, Kyanna's working." She informed, before sending her away with Tick who's currently being impressed by a coconut-splitting man. "Go play with Tick." Maybe the girl can breathe now with the twins off her tail. Eva is such a responsible mother.

As @Shadow made eye contact, Ash returned it with a frown. Normally, he was the sort to avoid it, but that guy was getting on Ash's nerves... especially as he turned back around and seemingly doubled down on the aggression.

He idly opened up his palm menu, tapping out a message.

Mail

To: @Luthien
We've got a guy getting aggressive at the newbies. I'm gonna see if I can defuse the situation.

Ash set aside the spoon and emptied coconut. It seemed like @Schilva Flasch had a cheering squad now, which would probably keep the swordsman well occupied. Ash walked over to watch the process more carefully, his frown growing as Shadow increased the pressure on the novice...

"...look, we're trying to squeeze juice out of coconuts, not sweat out of newbies. The whole 'tough love' approach might make good entertainment, but stirring shit isn't part of the recipe."

He stared a moment longer, then put on a smile as he turned towards the newbie.

"We've got a lot of milk sitting around, and that guy seems to have enough energy to handle the rest of the pulp. Wanna help me get this milk simmering?"

Ash's tutorial on mixing the coconut milk and sugar didn't take long. This was how the scale worked, that was what a simmer looked like, and it would stick to a spoon like this once it was the right consistency. Then he let his impromptu student start working on another pot while he portioned out more ingredients to keep the assembly line running...
