The blue of the distant horizon was almost melding with the clear skies up above, carrying a refreshing breeze that did wonders for those who were beginning to feel exasperated beneath the sun's relentless assault. Even in a world full of turmoil such as this, plenty of people - be their landers or starcalled, chose to spend their time around the ocean's border, littering the beaches with towels, bags of snacks, and umbrellas to shield against the heat. Politics and the fear of Falderen's inhabitants be damned, people were gonna have their virtual vacation!
However, there were also many secluded places along the shorelines. One of them was a coastal lagoon, largely hidden from view due to the inland side being largely surrounded by a rocky terrain that not many would care to traverse, be it simply because it seemed like a waste of energy with a perfectly fine beach not too far from here, or for fear of hurting oneself on the sharp, jagged rocks, and tumbling down the steep rocky side.
Yet, the reward for getting past this obstacle, or simply arriving from the ocean's side, was a beautiful body of shallow azure water, in places made colorful by countless corals underneath. Much of the space was even shallow enough that one could easily stand with water reaching only up their ankles. Though, of course, there were also many spots deep enough for a swim. The natural beauty of this place could hardly be adequately conveyed with words alone. The fact that not many knew of this place made it all the more alluring, for a sense of privacy was almost assured.
It was then perhaps amusing that a player who had only started playing a short while ago made her way here with ease as if she was drawn to this place. She could be easily spotted in one of the more shallow areas, squatting down at poking at a turtle sitting right in front of her, face still and unmoving while her eyes were transfixed on the creature. Wearing what could fairly easily be assumed to be a one-piece swimsuit, or perhaps a stylized attire for diving, she didn't seem all that out of place. Though... her appearance, with long white hair, sporting several crimson red and ocean blue strands, would likely tip people off to her nature as a starcalled.
