"Ugh,"

She lets out one more groan as she dispels and waves away the static clinging to her, following Azykia's little explanation. This just made everything way more confusing...but at least she wasn't covered in static charge anymore. It was actually pretty easy to make sure she never had any static charge, because...aeromancy. And magnets. With this knowledge, she'd never zap herself on a door handle again.

"Phew. Okay, but now...what kind of sense does that make? If someone just...I'm guessing, just has a high mastery in a magic, then it's so bright it's hard to look at, no matter how much they hold back? What if it's not even from a person? Something like...you know, a magitech device? Like, okay...

Aroda sighs and reaches into her magical video game inventory, so that she can pull out...a device. In this case, it's basically a magical car battery, charged with magic from an environmental source. She kinda just, holds it there in her robot-y hands.

"How developed of a magic caster is this thing?"

The young one gave a nod at Aroda's analysis. "There are a few exceptions to the rule. I met a powerful mage named Kaede who could expend a bit of effort to subdue her own magical presence, and Celesis-" She looked down for the briefest of moments before she tilted her head and glanced to the left. "Well, she can use Illusion Magic to change how vibrantly things appear."

The brush in Azzy's hand suddenly dissolved away as she raised her arms reflexively to shield her eyes. It didn't really help at all, needless to say from the audible yelp she let out, so she instead closed her eyes tightly and looked away. "What in the world is that?! It's brighter than the sun!" The usually mellow Azykia exclaimed in a mixture of shock and confusion.

She rubbed her eyes after she faced away from the magia, blinking the pain away. "Goodness. Either you're holding something as powerful as I've ever seen, or there's yet more I have to learn about my vision. After all, most of my observations so far come from people, not objects."

Aroda raises a brow at Azykia's ridiculously strong reaction to seeing a car battery. She looks between her and the battery a few times before kinda, stuffing it behind her back, awkwardly.

"It's uh...a battery. I made it a while back."

She relinquishes it back to the depths of the inventory for now, shrugging at the double-blind Azykia, since although she can't see the gesture, she figures she can see that the battery is gone.

"You know, 'cause magia don't sleep? They're supposed to, use magic energy sources to recharge. So I made that. ...It's pretty much a car battery. I even have jumper cables for it."

And looking carefully at the Azykia still, she cocks her head.

"Did it really look that bad? 'Cause that's one of the first things I made. I wasn't a 'super well developed magic caster' when I made it, and I kinda doubt the battery became one."

Azykia had indeed noticed that the battery had been removed, still left to wonder what kind of car battery Aroda had made as she turned her right side to face Aroda. "You said yourself that magia need to rest by natural sources of magic, didn't you? Whatever materials you made that battery out of, it's possible at least one of those materials has also been soaking up the same sort of ambient magical force." She rubbed her eyes. "Like magnets and metals, they all interact differently."

With a few spells of rapid blinking, a brush appeared once again in Azykia's hand as she sighed. "And with that, I wish I could be more help, but as you can quite plainly see, I scarcely require objects in the first place, and I've yet to garner garb which gathers magical force, but I've seen magical equipment before. I don't see how it's much different than such... enchantments, I believe the term was?"

"The battery's actually made of pretty normal stuff. It was surprisingly easy to make...I checked how real batteries work, and that was super confusing, but it's a lot easier when the energy you're trying fill it with is just 'magic'. It just has some bits inside that are good at taking in magic, so I can take from whatever source, store it, and recharge later. With the cables."

Aroda can't help but go off for a bit on how she managed to make a car battery but the car is a magia. The energy she speaks with fades away into a loud sigh, as she crouches down, propping her head in her palms.

"Anyways...this is looking to be harder all the time, I think. I'm probably gonna have to get pretty creative to make...anything that will help at all. And apparently I can't have it be using strong magic or it'll look like the sun to you."

Thinking on the task ahead of her, the magia can only come up with one more thing to have the Azykia try. So she pulls out a gun.

"Alright, last thing...for now. How does...this look?"

The gun, a rifle with some modifications, with the receiver housing a visibly glowy magic power source...though without Aroda's input, the glow is quite dim. The grip and stock of the gun have also been made more conductive for magic...so that she can send some of her magic through it.

All told, As Aroda operates charging the gun up, some electricity travels down through her hands, and trails into the gun's receiver bit, where it then idles around, the magical electricity's current traveling up and down the length of the barrel from that source in the receiver.

Azykia watched with a slightly cocked head as her robot friend pulled out... well, a faint glow as far as she could tell. It wasn't until the electricity coursed through the weapon--seemingly at a comfortable enough dimness to view without being difficult to distinguish--that she raised her head. The younger girl watched as he eyes widened in interest at what she was seeing.

"That's... incredibly satisfying to look at." She put her right hand in front of her mouth with her fingers curled against it gently in thought. "Your electricity runs through certain parts of it more distinctly than others, more or less painting some pieces vibrantly and clearly, whereas other areas are... Hm. Well, it's almost as though the electricity is trying to go around it but not always being able to, so instead it goes through...? That makes sense, though. Doesn't electricity always try to find the quickest route through an object?"

With a few thoughtful clicks of her tongue, she leaned this way and that to take a better look at what was in Aroda's hands. "I think I could even hazard a guess as to what you're holding. It's some sort of firearm, isn't it?"

"Mhm! It's my uh...shock rifle. I couldn't really come up with a better name for it. But at least you can tell what it does from its current name, I guess?"

Aroda lets a hand off the gun, holding it casually in one hand as her other rests on her hip. The glowing and the current going through the gun continue despite it not looking like Aroda's actually doing anything anymore. It's probably just charged now until it's fired - or at least, it'll hold the energy for a while.

"It's pretty cool...and it's also probably the most complex thing I've made so far. So I was wondering how actual magitech in work, like this thing, looked to you. Since it's clearly a bit different from just normal magic, even if it's powered by it. Weird stuff. But er, it sounds like this doesn't look too bad? That's good. If you can clearly see the electricity moving around in this, then that's good to know. Helps me...figure what to do, next."

She rests the gun over her shoulder and looks about a bit...

"But uhh, that's all I can think to test for now. I think now it's a matter of me trying to actually come up with and make something, then see how it works for you. I'm getting pretty good at this magitech stuff, so...who knows what I'll manage. Either way, I guess I can stop bothering you with 'tests' now, hah."

"Well, I wouldn't call it a bother, Aroda. I've really enjoyed our time together after so long." She smiled once again and calmly clasped her hands together in her lap, looking up at 'near Aroda's head'. "As well, I could even say I have a couple tests of my own, if you wouldn't mind allowing me some of your time." Azzy breathed in softly, and with a gesture where she pushed her hands forward and distinctly, if not a bit slowly as well. Whatever spell the girl had let loose, well it wasn't hard to understand it.

Mist began to pull from the well of mana of the already quite powerful girl and pour forth into the room in a cone. At least until it dispersed throughout the room, causing it to become humid and thankfully cool. "Would you try moving around a bit? I want to see how effective my Hydromancy is when it comes to different variables of movement.

Aroda cocked her head as Azykia began to make her plea, listening to what sort of 'test' she might need done. She waits, watching intently for the small tiny munchkin girl to use her magic...and looks around at the result a bit. Hydromancy, she says? So she's just spritzing a bunch of mist all over, it seems...

"Well, okay, I guess I can-"

She pauses, glancing to the still-electrically-charged-rifle she has propped on her shoulder. The magia had the sneaking suspicion that though it was a light mist now, higher volumes of water might get involved, so...she, stuffs the gun back into the depths of the olde inventory before continuing.

"Help out. But, 'moving around'? Like..."

She waves her arm around a bit, aware that Azykia may not be able to see it, but satisfying a bit of 'moving around' nonetheless. ...Then immediately after, thinking that might not be enough 'moving around', she tries stepping about a bit, a motion Azykia surely has no trouble noticing thanks to Aroda's loud ass robot feet.

"This?"

Azzy put a finger to her chin and bent it back as she observed Aroda. "Hm. Is that what you look like?" The blind girl watched with an amused smile. "I wonder how accurate this is. I wonder how accurate it can be..." Her head tilted to the right. "I bet if I were to freeze it against you, I could have a perfect mold of you."

She must have been joking with how she began to actually laugh afterwards. It was more than probably anyone had heard her laugh--at least outside of that time during Red Fever. "But don't worry. I'm not going to put you in cryogenic stasis or anything. I'm in short supply of friends these days. It's not really an investment I'm able to make."

As she let the mist exist for just a bit longer, it eventually began to clear out of the room, and the girl nibbled her lip just a bit. "I've been thinking since earlier, though. There's a chance that one day, my hearing or even my sense of touch will leave me as well. I think... if there's anything to focus on, it might be that."

"It'd be quite dreadful if I couldn't talk to you anymore, wouldn't it?"

Aroda perks a brow with a...slightly concerned expression, stopping her 'moving around' to just look a bit sideways at Azykia, as she goes on about freezing her and having a mold and...whatnot.

"That's uh...ehhh...yeah, no, that's just weird."

She says as much pretty lightheartedly, jokingly even, but still, it's apparent she definitely thought it was weird, she's just willing to laugh it off this time. Once the mist has all gone, she tilts her head at the more reasonable things Azykia starts to say. She even brings a hand to her chin as she thinks on it more seriously.

"Hmm...yeah, not being able to hear or see is kind of a bad look. And if you can't feel, you can't even Hellen Keller it. I can't really use magic to talk to you very well either...since I dunno morse, or anything. ...Kinda sounds like this'll be rough. Do you know anyone else that can help out?"

"Well, yes, I do..." Her smile lessened as she tried not to seem too gloomy about it. "Celesis can impressively utilize Illusion Magic. I can see, smell, and taste anything that she creates, I'm certain of it. Perhaps if you don't have all of your masteries locked in, you could practice the art yourself." She walked over to the bed carefully with her hands out to feel for it, then she climbed on top of it to take a seat on the edge. She crossed one leg over the other and leaned back onto her hands.

"Even if you do, there's already plenty of ways that science has evolved in the real world to solve deafness. Perhaps getting your hands on some blueprints in the real world could help you create a magical hearing aid."

She paused for just a moment to listen to Aroda, then giggled. "Hey, Miss Aroda. Would you consider yourself all work and no play?"

"Ehh...yeah, I mean, if you trust that girl to help you out then that's cool."

The Aroda shrugs a bit, shaking her head lightly at Azykia's suggestion.

"I'm not sure about using 'illusion magic' myself. Wasn't super interested in it before, and with the frame of reference I have now...yeah. Plus I don't really think I'd wanna get into it just to be a hearing and seeing aid for one person, you know?"

She's quick to add, though,

"You're right, though. I'm sure I could figure out how to make something to help without any illusions. It'd just take...a lot of effort, probably."

With a notable sigh, she makes her way over to a seat on the main prime seating in here, a bed. With Azykio's final questioning, she raises a brow. All work and no play isn't exactly a way anyone had ever described her, so...

"All work? Don't think I'd say that, no. I don't even really have a job. Why?"

"Well, a lot of effort is something I could help with, were we not standing in Terrasphere right now." The girl looked over towards Aroda as she too took a seat on the bed, though her gaze was on the wall past just in front of her head. Not bad aim for being blind, but also, still not even close baby.

"All work and no play is... Well, that's something I would describe myself as, and I'm very slowly learning how to not be. I'm not entirely sure myself why I felt so compelled to ask you, but while I have you here, maybe I could ask you for a few pointers. After all, you practically exude motivation compared to me. You embody it. Meanwhile... I've found this escape from reality, and all the potential solutions it could offer me, but I'm so used to the same old thing that I'm not really sure how to take advantage of it. After all, I didn't really get Terrasphere so that I could play a video game."

"Exude motivation? ...I've never heard that one before. You know, in the real world, I'm pretty aimless. Never had much of a goal, or any long term plans."

She shrugs, crossing her arms as she thinks about all this, and what...or how much...she should say.

"I found this game while I was just looking for something to do. And it seemed really interesting...like a big conspiracy waiting to be uncovered, or something. So, it turned out to be something great to do, since this mystery will take a long time to unpack. It was a bonus that...well, all this magitech stuff, it's pretty cool. Been fun trying to figure out more stuff about it so I have a better chance getting by in this weird game."

After this much, she pauses for a few seconds, like she's wondering what to say next. What she decides on, is firstly, a long sigh.

"But yeah...it's all just a distraction, really. In...a bit better circumstances, I still probably wouldn't be doing much at all. Would've just kept going to school because I'm supposed to and...not much else. At least, I wouldn't have ended up playing a game like this, I'm sure."

Azzy listened in utter silence for a long time. With nothing to truly look at, her mind was flooded with all the possible situations that this woman could be in. Some of it spoke to Azykia, and some of it she couldn't really relate to at all. Everybody seemed to get into Terrasphere for a similar reason--to escape the real world, of course--but still each and every one of those reasons was unique. The result of a different human's life holding a different human's history.

She couldn't really fathom what Aroda was going through, but she didn't have to stay silent thinking about it for too long.

"I'm glad that you've found something that interests you, then. Magitech for you, magic for me. It's important to have such things, isn't it?" She gulped, and turned her head to face ever so slightly away from the robot. "As for the Starcalled Realm- Ah, the real world, I mean... If you ever feel the want to reach out, I-..."

"Well, I may not be the best person to make friends with, having never really had any myself, but I'm certain I could at least find some sort of way to make the strain of everyday life more bearable."

"Oh, you mean like, talking in real life? Yeah, maybe."

Aroda offers with yet another shrugg, sounding pretty casual about the whole thing.

"I don't really use my phone much, and it's a piece of junk, but if you wanted my number I wouldn't really mind. Minding that I don't really answer while I'm driving. ...All that said, though,"

She gives Azykia another presumably unseen funny look, as she uncrosses her arms to lean back on her hands.

"You sure that's okay? Weren't you telling me about your dad being...super weird, and everything? I don't wanna get arrested or anything because I was talking to someone's precious daughter. ...At least I already know you're older than me, or that would've been even weirder than it sounded..."

The robot gets distracted by that stray, somewhat humorous, somewhat worrying thought, before getting back to Azykia.

"Uhh...either way, as long as it's fine, I can at least get in contact. Like I said, I don't mind."

The blonde gave a mischievous grin. "Don't worry, daddy dearest won't lay a finger on you. You might have a call traced or two, or fifty..." Azzy giggled. "Nothing to worry about, though~." It was hard to tell whether she had been joking or not, or at least she tried to make it seem difficult. "Actually, I was just offline for the last eighteen days, and part of that was me delicately twisting his arm. In other words, I'd even be able to have tea with you, so long as you don't mind the block being under surveillance."

The Kia cocked her head and sat up straight, implying a shift in conversation tone. "It's not as bad as I make it out to be though, I'm sure. I'd be honored to take down your number. Maybe I'll give you a call here in a minute." She giggled yet again, bringing a hand up to her mouth to fake stifle it. "It's kind of exciting to think I might finally be able to have a friend outside of Terrasphere for once."

The robot lady's raised brow, and general expression of slight confusion, would probably make clear to anyone but Azykia how weird that whole family situation sounded, even to her.

"Man, you make your dad sound like the president or something. Or like, a gang boss. You sure I'll be alright?"

Aroda asks with some faux-concern, and some actual concern, which is played off by the faux-concern, because she's just that smooth. She plays it off further with a short chuckle while she runs her hand through her hair.

"Either way...it's uh, good to see you're so excited. Like I said, I don't use my phone much, but I can at least send texts. Might even be able to meet up some time to try that tea, but I don't drink much besides sweet tea."

She shifts and pulls something out of her inventory, a soundless pen in one hand, and a journal with plenty of blank pages in the other, which Azykia can likely hear as the papers flap when it opens to one of said blank pages.

"Anyways, my number. I'll give you..."

As she writes on the paper, her robot hands stop with mechanical precision at the exact timing of her realizing what she's doing. She looks up from the paper and back to Azykia.

"...You think you can just, remember it?"

The moment Aroda began flipping through the pages of whatever she'd pulled out, the younger girl began to wonder exactly what her plan was. Maybe it was a book for translating braille, though she highly doubted such a thing existed in Terrasphere and wasn't locked beyond the doors of some sort of great lost archive. It wasn't until Azzy had been asked to remember the number instead that she allowed the laughter she'd been holding back to surface. After all, she didn't want to assume the magia had tried to shake her hand when the two first met or anything.

"I'm certain I could, haha! Linguistics is a specialty of mine, so what's a few numbers?" The last of her giggles finally subsided. "Though, I'll probably be logging out once you tell them to me so I can put them into my phone, so if you have anything else to say right now... Well, we could just say it over the phone anyways, couldn't we?"
