The world had been grand when she had landed, expanding beyond the horizon in every direction she'd been able to see on the way down. Her trials, her explorations, and what little could be called adventure had led her here - to a small village, if it could be called that. The outskirts had seemed welcoming, at first. Kyra had sauntered her way along the pathway that had led from the forests of Eastern Brisshal - at least, that was the name she'd heard along the way - and into the village itself, her mind calming as she left behind the dangerous of the expanse, and entered what she had assumed would be a safe haven.

The looks she had received on the way in, however, had made her question whether she had truly entered somewhere safe or not. She'd approached a few individuals, intending to ask for some guidance, some help, or even just a pointer towards somewhere she could stop at - but the glowers and small mutterings that had met her were more than enough to turn her away from even the least welcoming ones she had spotted.

I don't get it...it's like they hate me for some reason. I don't think I did anything wrong...?

She'd paused to look around, her eyes glancing back the way she had come. Had she somehow insulted the village folk by entering without permission? There'd been no guards, no hindrances, no signs to await escort or permission. In fact, as far as she could tell, it had been an open walkway leading directly into the village itself - a sign of welcoming air along the edges, as if she were expected to enter and rejoice at joining the more civilised section of the world.

Then why does it feel like they don't want me here...? She could feel her teeth biting into her bottom lip again, her mind trying to comprehend what could possibly have happened, what she could possibly have done to cause such upset, such disgust at her arrival. Maybe they don't like outsiders? It could be that they're not welcoming to unknown visitors? Or perhaps...

Her thoughts wound around her head as she tried to figure out what to do, and more importantly - where to go. Her feet carried her forwards and around, moving through dirt pathways that could barely be called streets, eyes scanning the various homes and faces she passed; constantly on the search for anyone who seemed to be even slightly accepting of the sight of her.

Honestly, this is...this is almost absurd. It's like this place is...it's like I'm going to get attacked at any second.

Her voice carried a huff of frustration to it, and she felt the bushy white tail behind her shift in a strong, sweeping motion - a feeling she had grown quickly accustomed, much to her surprise. The foxy ears and tail had been an oddity at first, once she had realised they were there, but they had been natural as well - a piece of her that felt like it had always belonged.

Stopping in the middle of the road, crossing her arms and glaring about, Kyra tried to figure out which direction to head - a crossroads having met her as she'd glided through the village. Her eyes looked to the left, the right, and ahead, passing over each direction before a heavy, frustration laden sigh passed her lips.

Only a few hours in, and already lost...this isn't a good start.

Lost in a village, unwelcomed and unwanted, what shall she do...?

She was getting used to the dull ache in her thighs and her hips, but the fact that she was currently hurting when walking in game was really blowing Rina's mind. After her escapades in real life had worn her down to the point she barely wanted to leave her bed this morning, she opted to take a rare sick day to focus on her recovery. Still the ever curious explorer found herself wandering around the safe areas of Faldren in search of different herbs or food items to sell and restock her gold.

She'd finally made the move from her trusty rusty sword to a lovely and expensive for a newbie rapier sword. Though she wasn't entirely sure of how to make use of the blade yet, she had plans to train and figure it out in time.

"So this is Honeyhome?"

It was a place on the map that she hadn't really taken the time to explore beyond the outskirts. Though it seemed that most players had a tendency to go there first, as Wisp...well she spent most of her time in the woods just exploring and familiarizing herself with the lay of the land. In her escapades she'd met interesting personalities, been chased by a goblin, and lots of other fun activities.

Honestly, her trips were usually to Finweald when she did need to go to a city. It was mainly due to the location being a meeting point for her and her friend, Kat. Plus the shopping in that location certainly seemed better than what she was previewing here in Honeyhome as she walked through the streets. She did notice a few small shops for armor or supplies, but there wasn't much really popping out to her beyond that...

except a girl with a tail?

What was a beastfolk girl doing in this space? Well, if she was new that probably wasn't much of an issue, but considering how the npc's of the nearby stall were acting towards her with their annoyed expressions...she couldn't help but approach. Though she was far from the type that could help beyond lending an ear maybe?

"Hey, sorry I can't help but approach when I saw a damsel in distress."

She grinned at the petite girl and ran a hand through her silvery strands.

"Are you doing okay, miss?"

Rina tilted her head to the side as she looked at her current companion with a smile. Honestly, her character was super cute. She almost wished she'd been that creative when making her own at the start of her adventure, but honestly...she didn't mind being herself. Still having cute ears and a tail would've probably been pretty fun~

Rina knew damn well she was just as hot as any other girl in this game.

Honeyhome. Well, it certainly seemed homey, in the best way possible. It was a small village, but not without an abundance of comfort. There was a certain calm that suffused the area as the residents went about their daily chores, tending to crops, livestock or keeping their homes and market stalls. Quiet chatter filled the air, and occasionally some care-free laughter rang in the air. Idyllic, really.

The further Ansaldo moved into the village though, the more that feeling faded. Soon, the sounds of calm happiness gave way to a fatal silence, and angry glares. Not pointed at Ansaldo though, the villagers directed their ire to a pair of women further down the road. It was starting to feel like Ansaldo had stepped into a horror film. All the villagers were missing were the creepy costumes and makeup.

Ansaldo began to approach the two woman, cautious at first, and then slowing further still as a head of white hair came into view. He'd never mistake that woman in his life. And unless someone had duplicated her image perfectly in the character creator.

That was Rina.

Since when did she play Terrasphere? Ansaldo found himself standing still as he pondered, only to realize he probably looked like either insane or like a creep. One foot in front of the other, the man walked towards the women again.

The other, Ansaldo did not recognize. Beastfolk though, certainly, with the ears and tail.

"Is everything alright?" his voice sounded as he grew nearer. His eyes slid from the beastfolk to Rina, lingering there for a moment before flicking back.

Kyra spun on the spot to face the girl that had approached, a combination of hesitation and apprehension in her eyes as she studied the white haired individual. She could see the approaching man, his red a direct contrast to the white before her, following the original speaker. Great, here we go aga- Her thought stopped, however, as she realised that they'd actually approached her and offered some form of assistance, a first since she'd entered the village proper.

Oh...actually, yeah. Maybe? I'm...just starting the game, actually, and thought that maybe you could...well, is there any sort of tutorial or something? I'm...okay I'll be entirely honest, I'm lost. On what to do, and what's going on.

It was a dangerous thing to admit in any game, but Kyra had the odd feeling after she'd said the words that it was somehow more dangerous in TerraSphere. Wisps of warning flashed through her mind as she remembered some of the details that Fina had been kind enough to offer to Kyra. She wondered, not for the first time since she'd returned to the game, if she wouldn't have been better off staying with Fina to begin with.

I managed to get all the way here, but...well, there's no NPCs or anything that offer quests, or any real goal, so...I'm not really sure where to go from here? Aside from, perhaps, heading into the wildlands and looking like a fool while I fumble around looking for somewhere more civilised. Or, well, a larger settlement rather. The people here aren't uncivilised.

She threw a glance towards one of the women she'd spoke to earlier, standing off in the distance - her red dress the only real defining feature at this distance. Pleasant enough, but with a clear undertone of disdain for the player that had approached and asked for any sort of guidance on where she should head after arriving to the world. Entirely unhelpful.

The girl next to her certainly seemed agitated. Though, so did the people within the village. It was weird to see that reaction, though as she thought about the situation...well it made sense. She had to take a minute to think about what Hanno told her concerning the people in TS, what were they called? Oh right, Landers. It was still weird to say, but it was the respectful option.

Luthien would definitely kick her butt if she at least didn't try following their conversation at the bakery. Though she'd only been playing the game for a short while herself, well...she would do her best to at least make sure the girl before her wasn't too uncomfortable given what was happening. She smiled to her, though as she turned, she heard the voice of another individual.

"I see. Well, I'm glad to help if I can...I'm still pretty new to the game myself."

She tilted her head with a curious expression. Perhaps this situation was more serious than she realized? Though, there was certainly some things to be concerned about when it came to TS. She didn't equate the fact that people could be one of them....at least not in the beginner area of the game, right?

'I should probably work on being more cautious in new spaces myself...not everyone likes someone like me.'

She bit her lip softly. Her ruby gaze met the man's amethyst before she quickly turned back towards the fox as she spoke. She felt her cheeks growing hot. Something about him felt familiar to her, though she couldn't exactly place it.

"...I know a little bit, but its just from what a few friends have told me..."

She looked up at the man again before turning back to the woman next to her.

"Uh....the people here aren't usually too welcoming to certain races. There's been a lot of stuff going on in their reality, so some of the Landers are really cautious towards outsiders like us."

It wasn't until the three had all huddled together. If there had been any traffic on the road, it would have had to flow around them, but in a sleepy place like Honeyhome, that was no issue at all. Ansaldo's eyes flicked between the pair of women again, strangers to each other as much as himself. He lingered a moment on Caterina, before tearing himself away to address the beastfolk's question.

"Sorry, no such thing in Terra," he said with an apologetic chuckle. If there had been a tutorial, Ansaldo suspected it would have helped keep the player death count lower, even if only a little. No such comfort for the intrepid Travellers though. Most learned the hard way, through trial and error, and just hoped they didn't die in the process. Or they were just lucky enough to find a good mentor.

Rina was surprisingly knowledgeable about the going-ons about the game though, despite being allegedly knew (well that was on answer that Rosario had been looking for). "Yeah, I'd about the Magia attacks recently. I guess it put everyone on edge though. Eyes out for people you don't recognize type of thing," Ansaldo nodded, crossing his arms. He hadn't seen any of it for himself, but he'd heard well enough.

"You could always volunteer to do some work around town though," the man suggested. "People'll warm up to you eventually, and you'll make some gold while you're at it. Not much, but maybe enough to get you some food and a bed for the night."
