The world had been grand when she had landed, expanding beyond the horizon in every direction she'd been able to see on the way down. Her trials, her explorations, and what little could be called adventure had led her here - to a small village, if it could be called that. The outskirts had seemed welcoming, at first. Kyra had sauntered her way along the pathway that had led from the forests of Eastern Brisshal - at least, that was the name she'd heard along the way - and into the village itself, her mind calming as she left behind the dangerous of the expanse, and entered what she had assumed would be a safe haven.
The looks she had received on the way in, however, had made her question whether she had truly entered somewhere safe or not. She'd approached a few individuals, intending to ask for some guidance, some help, or even just a pointer towards somewhere she could stop at - but the glowers and small mutterings that had met her were more than enough to turn her away from even the least welcoming ones she had spotted.

I don't get it...it's like they hate me for some reason. I don't think I did anything wrong...?
She'd paused to look around, her eyes glancing back the way she had come. Had she somehow insulted the village folk by entering without permission? There'd been no guards, no hindrances, no signs to await escort or permission. In fact, as far as she could tell, it had been an open walkway leading directly into the village itself - a sign of welcoming air along the edges, as if she were expected to enter and rejoice at joining the more civilised section of the world.
Then why does it feel like they don't want me here...? She could feel her teeth biting into her bottom lip again, her mind trying to comprehend what could possibly have happened, what she could possibly have done to cause such upset, such disgust at her arrival. Maybe they don't like outsiders? It could be that they're not welcoming to unknown visitors? Or perhaps...
Her thoughts wound around her head as she tried to figure out what to do, and more importantly - where to go. Her feet carried her forwards and around, moving through dirt pathways that could barely be called streets, eyes scanning the various homes and faces she passed; constantly on the search for anyone who seemed to be even slightly accepting of the sight of her.

Honestly, this is...this is almost absurd. It's like this place is...it's like I'm going to get attacked at any second.
Her voice carried a huff of frustration to it, and she felt the bushy white tail behind her shift in a strong, sweeping motion - a feeling she had grown quickly accustomed, much to her surprise. The foxy ears and tail had been an oddity at first, once she had realised they were there, but they had been natural as well - a piece of her that felt like it had always belonged.
Stopping in the middle of the road, crossing her arms and glaring about, Kyra tried to figure out which direction to head - a crossroads having met her as she'd glided through the village. Her eyes looked to the left, the right, and ahead, passing over each direction before a heavy, frustration laden sigh passed her lips.

Only a few hours in, and already lost...this isn't a good start.
Lost in a village, unwelcomed and unwanted, what shall she do...?
