New York City - 10:15 AM
Every morning started and ended the same way, except today the amount of dogs she had to walk by had gone down to just four for the whole day. Something something all her clients from Miss Paty from Mr. Sanders twenty blocks away were all in vacation. Figures, as they all seem to share the same network and tend to travel in packs.
But that's the price of connections with the elders who all know eachother, go out with eachother, and recommend things to eachother. They all go out in groups.
Yet having her morning free left many alternatives which all seemed to pit back to more work. The prospect of having free time never clicked well, specially at 'work hours'. There is something about following schedules down to the letter, and a hole like this left her mind riddled with questions that would go unanswered, only for her to waste the morning away until something else occurred.
Not this time, however. Mia made her entrance back to her favourite restaurant (citation required, given she never actually came here at night). A hand grasped against her bossom. It felt awkward, like somehow she didn't belong here in the first place, but braving against her insecurities, Mia decided to order once again the usual capuccino with only one scrambled egg, figuring a second wouldn't do any harm to her diet. Not like Yara would notice either!
Fortunate for her, she had a cozy spot to drop herself right against the windows, closest to the bottom corners, where she could pull up her laptop and pull up old files upon photoshop, aswell as a mouse to replace the worn-out touchpad with. A glance across the room made her realize how lonely it would get around these hours, when most people already had their fair share of breakfast and left to work. A few heads here and there, some boy looking at her from across the restaurant that ended up flickering her gaze nerveously back to the screen, but nothing aside of the ordinary.
"Huh, maybe they have some WiFi I could plug into..." She whispered, taking a glance just to check if her order was ready or not, and to see if the one to deliver it looked open enough to questions
