Housing and MP to VP conversion... 👀

Jokes aside, would be nice to see the VRSA take a more active roll in IRL... and I still keep hoping a 6th mastery sloth is added so I can give Luth her Hydromancy back. 😂

Also lore, all of the lore please 🙏🏼

More IRL locations maybe? Uhh…more explanations on purchase threads? That stuff was kinda hard to figure out for me. Especially since the shop is for like valor stuff

  • Housing Mechanics. I know its granted, but i will be your daily reminder.
  • A feedback or 'first impressions & thoughts' ooc thread of sorts in the future if mechanical changes are coming so we can talk about these as they come in order to get rid of the most glaring issues an action/mechanic could have, and playtest the ones we are still unsure of like we usually do.
  • Exploration as a main focus. It doesn't have to necessarily be a new region. There are plenty of "undiscovered" areas in the old zones and some zones that don't get enough love. Things that can be explored openly by the staff given their vague nature and that could lead to super interesting or fun events, such as how Red Fever came out of nowhere from Asch's pocket and is a great example of a region getting a fun event in what amounts to, thematically, 'magic jungle'. Given the unrestricted nature of areas like these, you can make far more diverse events and not fall for theme-traps (Such as certain places on Tertoria being Dissonance-Fest and thus limiting scope to specifics)
  • More Trinity in the main story is always nice, if only in a more light theme as opposed to 'I come to warn you everything's going bonkers tehee!'. She is Terrasphere's official mascot, so might aswell have her show up sometimes to congratulate us on pulling a backflip near a boss fight or something, while still keeping her a rarity. Doesn't always have to be some important message.
  • More tags that are in line with stuff like 'Steel'. The basic materials are cool and just an extra cosmetic to work as a sink.
  • Blessing of Mini-Me Primon. It doesn't give you a tattoo, just a mini you that reacts to other Mini-Me's from other players and goes "Woah they are strong!". Alternatively, a gacha with Genshin-like droprate for a Mini Trinity who does something similar but also gives you loading screen tips such as "If you want to survive, keep your HP above 0!"
  • Kristopher.
  • Cube.

Unfolding the Unknown
I agree with everyone above, save for the Crafting Mechanics. I think that can be left aside, UNLESS we can do something like 'flavor', like crafting custom items to give to other, with said items having the 'tags' you or the person who crafted it owns. But honestly, I'm not sure how feasible it would be to do that, and I think you can already do it through flavor (granted, this would make it more 'official').

Anyway, for my wishlist:
  • More Official quests, even if they are 'generic' so people fill the blanks. Like 'save someone' or 'defeat X goblins', just to have small prompts that people can use to hop into combat, learn mechanics or even just have an 'excuse' or a 'prompt' to play together. It could even have some rotation. And of course, give incentive for DMs and even normal members to make more quests for people to use.

  • Regarding the Blessing of Dedication, I propose it to not be just a mark with a Roman number, it ends up being too specific, and honestly just don't fit to some characters. Instead, I think it could be literally any mark the player want. It could be a scar, it could be a glowing rune on the body, it could be a different eye color that shimmers when reflecting on the moon, even a different type of pupil (a la Sharingan or Rinnegan), it could a hair bang that billows like flames- Essentially 'unique' physical traits that represent the Blessing, and give an 'official' unique feature to the character. And these features either intensifies, or add more depending on the 'rank'. The mark could even act up when another one of the same rank is nearby. I think it would be a more fun approach.

  • Official rewards for DM Challenges. I know, it is complicated because of how DM Challenges can be different from Events, but I think it could still exist, even if it is very inferior to the usual reward of an Event. Currently, the only official reward you may end up getting in a DM Challenge is the MP/GP you get from the posts, and the nat100, nat1, nat101, nat200, nat11 achievements (which two are rare to happen, and three are borderline impossible).

  • Tags, Primons, Curios, and Titles that can be bought by MP and GP. I kinda miss that. It doesn't even need to be of high rarity, but I think it would be nice to have them back. Like, at least leave the ones of low rarity to be purcheable with MP and GP, it is extra currency dump too~

  • Create a subforum/space for people to set up Player Groups threads, or even displaying a 'workshop' they may have, or a player-created location like a restaurant or anything. Such as the one I have in LFG (Buddynauts). I know the LFG is there, but I think it gets too cramped, and besides, I feel like the LFG is a bit more for immediate stuff, rather than a group creation and everything.

  • Also a bit of nitpick, but honestly the 'you die when you log off/is disconnected in combat' thing is a bit eh. Is it possible to change it for the IG character to simply drop limp and unconscious until the player either log in back, or die by external force, or the combat ends? Or would it ruin or break the Lore? I think it could even make for interesting situations.

  • I'd like BBCode that's more consistent and reliable. At the moment it feels like one change pulls out the rug under Pandora's edifice of aesthetics. If it results in losing some flexibility then... well, that's the price to pay, I guess. Also documentation would be nice instead of our "Tarkya accidentally a backdoor again" strat.
  • I'm with Chan on being able to buy tags with non VP currency, or at least making the things you can buy with VP more significant. That, or bringing back the Gacha so that people can at least collect "lesser" tags.
  • Bring back the pseudo-twitter from TS1, maybe??? That was pretty neat.
  • Improved visibility of selected actions in the builder. The dark theme is pretty, but right now it can be difficult to tell if a skill's been selected or not.
  • You've already announced more IRL stuff so I'm happy on that front.

Three major things for me in order of what I'd want to see implemented:

  • The ability to turn off rewards for a thread upon thread creation. Meaning, say, I just wanted to write a story for two of my characters. Like say, Emerath and Kat, where they meet and go on an adventure. I could do this without earning any rewards. I'm just writing for the sake of character development and plot. I still think solo character threads should not be allowed without major caveats. This is primarily so people can RP their actual different characters together. It's weird that in a world like this, they would just never meet each other ever (especially since at one point this actively hindered actual twins who live together from ever interacting outside of big story events).
  • Since grid-based movement was figured out for TS, I'd like to see an actual ranged mechanic implemented for combat. Any attack mastery can flavor their ranged attack, but say the damage drops off the further you are from the target. I dunno the exact specifics, but ranged damage pls.
  • Crafting/mercantilism in some form. Even if it's completely fluff, it would be nice to have actual mechanics to run a shop, such as dice rolls that affect how good or bad items are, actual haggling mechanics, and perhaps a fake currency that we can use to specifically buy fluff items. Some people (me) just like having actual systems to prop up the fluff stuff that makes it feel more robust than just, "Yeah I made a shop and can just sell stuff in it, and when people buy money changes hands and now they have a thing yaaaaaay." (And before anyone tells me, yes, I'm aware I can do all this myself because it's all fluff. But it would be nice if it was official and not just me making up stuff as I go.)

That's my wishlist. :3
