Red Fever (3) Anger/Disgust

"Damnit." Roland cursed as the monkey disappeared from sight. To make matters worse it seemed he was the only one interested in actually chasing the things down. Poor Felis, likely wouldn't survive whatever the ape had planned but there was little Roland could to do stop it.

Instead, he headed back towards the commotion within the temple. Something big was moving, he could hear it from even the outside. Dashing he quickly made up ground using his aeromancy to extend his leaps leaving lighting to trail behind him, and in a matter of moments, he was upon the golem. Slashing with all his might, he tried to deliver a powerful strike, but his swords skittered across the creature's rocky surface barely scratching it at all. This was going to be a long endeavor.

Jumping back out of the action, he had to duck and roll as a sudden explosion came from slime-covered balls being tossed at the titan. "What the hell do you think you're doing!" Roland demanded from @Omega Redux as he dashed towards her trying to catch her arm from throwing more of the devices, "Your more likely to blow up this temple down upon our heads if you're going to throw them recklessly like that!"

Last thing they needed was falling rocks to reveal a secret #slimeparty shrine.

Red Fever (3) - Anger
-25HP from ᛗᚨᚷᛁᚴᚱᛟᚾᛟᛋ

The last she got to see of Caccu was a kidnap attempt from a bunch of apes, and for once in this damn adventure she felt like karma did her right, remorseless in every sense as she watched with pride to the catgirl get sent away. To her surprise that one such @Roland Rutledge actually worried for the little furball. Dissapointment had to be the least of her emotions running wild right now, but she couldn't judge a would-be hero for trying to do would-be hero stuff.

The #slimeparty only went downhill for her, and by now she just stopped trying alltogether, ready to sit down on nothingness before the very ground rumbled, unhappy with her actions or someone else's, confirmed once the temple expelled some members of the group and awakened into pillars and stone flinged all around, forming itself into a gigantic colossi ready to stomp on them and their efforts alike. Which, funny enough, turned out to be the case. Everything they worked for? Nothing
The very ingredients? Puffed for the most

Oh she had enough by now, her blood boiled with no more desire for collection nor babysitting. She came here to contribute to mindless destruction, not to play garden for the brainiacs at MIT.

And the winds begun to rise at her beckon, many flowers given 'life' by @Celestine begun to gather all across the golem as a vacuum begun to form all around the giant, granting some color to the dull stone as the flora swirled around their foe, along the strong wind currents that pressured the golem into one tight spot to set it up

"GET OUT OF THE WAY OR GET SENT TO THE SPAWN YOU ALL!" She shouted outloud to the ones closest to it, but by now the only ones she had visuals on were @Toko , @Zelrius , @Ueno Mizuki and poor @Kat Otsu , who was just hanging in there!

"YOU! YOU GOT A CANNON, I GOT AMMO, WE SHOOT THAT FUCKER OUT OF THIS SWAMP, AND AVENGE YOUR DAMN SLIME" She screamed back at @Brutus Dahlgren, stepping closer and closer as wind begun to take the rough shape of a sphere upon her hands, lightning cracking all around it's circumference. Harold might not have done much damage unfortunately, but this? Once Brutus was to fire this thing at the temple, it would pop off into a thunderous windplosion to send that golem on it's ass.

Red Fever (3) – Anger

There sure was a lot going on. A whole lot of rattling and rampaging as magic seemed to flit this way and that in young Azykia's eyes in the moments between searching for ingredients when she could be seen glaring about in frustration with how difficult this job turned out to be. At least she could if anyone were necessarily nearby her as she stumbled and tripped her way through this slimy swamp. In a way, being physically blind made this a whole lot more bearable.

It was also just what the group needed, as the girl without vision tried to get away from the last loud crash she heard coming down and stumbled her way into a small area between... we'll call it foliage this time, where her eyes opened to the magical glow of... Yes, this is the ingredient! It has to be! She began to carefully feel about it before fully committing to harvesting it as she had been instructed beforehand, starting to scoop the goods into the bag she brought along that was thankfully a fair bit less slimy inside than she was all over right about now. She felt like one big #slimeparty.

"I found some!" She called to no one in particular, underselling her own independence for a few seconds. She had to finish up quickly and get back to the general mass. What if someone got hurt, and she could have done something about it? That sort of thinking kept her in this madness. The waves of irritation she felt at her own incapability, she was currently using to fuel herself and be helpful for once. Ironic, she thought, that this emotional fever was also lending her some #emotionalsupport in some strange way at the same time.

Red Fever (3)
-15 From Same Emotion
-25 From ᛗᚨᚷᛁᚴᚱᛟᚾᛟᛋ

It simmered.

It simmered.

It simmered on low boil, there behind the good manners and the mask she wore. Ilusa kept a lid on this anger that kept rising at each and every annoying, irritating, aggravating thing. The loud sounds that irritated her hearing, the disgusting slimy swamp (not amber slimes themselves, they were actually sort of friendly and it was as if they were having #slimeparty), actions and sounds of others, the disgusting smells and the icky feeling of walking in the swamp.

She found another mandragora and poked it gently; that scent it released was the nicest thing to smell here, making the stink of the swamp bearable. It was something like lavender only not, like #emotionalsupport. She was about to gather it.

…Which was of course why the temple turned out to not be a temple but a giant golem that stepped onto the plant and herself. Enraged, pained hiss escaped her as she squeezed out.

Her fingers trembled, she tried to hold it in, rein it in. Blind anger was dangerous, useless, not needed. She had to direct it, she had to. No matter how much she wanted to release a scream of anger, to curse this 'game', to rage over everything. She should not, could not.

Ilusa felt hot. She swore she could feel burning where the slimy texture touched her skin. Her fingertips burned, her ears itched, her cheeks felt blistering and her veins ached. Her legs hurt; bruises surely bloomed there.

Some were so loud and annoying. It hurt.

It was only thanks to her self-discipline, that Ilusa only glared. Anyone who knew cats could see that she was furious. Her eyes zeroed onto the golem; she pulled the UI and concentrated on it, her eyes narrowing at the name, at the squiggles.

She noticed: the stack increased again, it was on 3 now. And her HP was hit, DoT damage. Perhaps it was more than just thinking she was feeling the burning.

"…Kheeee!" Part of her was aware that this was reckless, that she should instead check HP of others and support. But she just had to release this boiling Anger.

And so she attacked, pointing anger at the golem. It was almost automatic how she chanted a spell. A magic circle shone above her and soon a beam of concentrated divine magic was fired at the golem.

Red Fever (3) - Anger

Between Zelrius being outright mean to her and the weird Adventurer going on about his missing #emotionalsupport cat, Kyoko clenched her fists as she began to fume. Stinky, gross. Kyoko wanted to take a bath in hot lava, let her skin melt away, just so she wouldn't have to feel her anger overwhelming her. Kyoko liked being sensible, collected and calm. Yet here she was wanting to take her anger out on anything that moved. It was a toxic situation, her belly boiling with intense hatred.

The feelings she had now, were definitely unhealthy, and she was almost whisked away into her hatred. She knew she would be spiraling downwards if she stopped fighting her feelings. It would become worse than it already was. Being on the edge of tipping the scale and having a screaming war, when @Zelrius shoved paster, Kyoko fought to keep the scale sturdy and untilted. It was more difficult than it seemed as Kyoko tried to just shake her head and walk away. Not being able to bear it, Kyoko turned around and stomped up. "You really just shoved me?" She tried her best not to lash out physically, "Maybe I don't know, fucking apologize or something. I don't know, be humane."

Not even waiting for him to apologize or reply, Kyoko turned around and whisked away. Her tail twitching in an irritated manner. God, I gotta stop this. I'm going to end up fighting him at this point...

Focusing on one of the slimes that were trying to hide, Kyoko would lasso it with her spirit energy. Once again pulling the same move she had made before. Looking around as she set the slime on her head. "Hey there buddy."

#slimeparty
Kyoko reached up and pet the slime on the head. It quickly warmed up to her. "You fat chunk of yellow goo, you won't hate me just cause I'm a little angry, right?" Kyoko let out a tsk, eyeing those around her that might even look at her in the wrong direction. Everyone seemed to be either fighting or gathering, Kyoko wouldn't let herself get left behind in the dust. Though she couldn't stop from her emotions taking over...

Whether it was the backlash from casting her forbidden spell, exhaustion, or having slid into a parallel TS dimension, Cynna now realized that she could communicate with the slimes after all. It was a slime party. The slimes whispered their advice. Use the mandragoras, they said, and the chosen cat will return: Slime-nyan. Discover the manashooms and their secrets they still hold. But trust only in slime.

@Regan "Regan." Cynna looked up past the chaos of the rampaging robot, and all that other chaos. "I know what we must do. We must retrieve the baby. The mandragoras are the key. I will encase us in water to dampen the screams. I am trusting on you to disturb them so that she may return to us. She is still alive. She is out there."

Laylabelle raised her hands...

"Chronos Aqua: Sea of Time Immeasurable (Upon the Lapping Beach of Nostalgia)."

...and a bubble of grey water enveloped the too dampening noise as time seemed to slow to a bass-ish quiet rumble.

"Let us go. The slimes have spoken. Discover the Manashrooms. Use the Mandragoras. Trust only in slime. Only then, will Caccu be safe."

Cynna was curt, like always. But beneath that there was a determination.

Skidding to a stop as the actual temple itself awakened due to the actions of those no doubt inside. He watched with wide eyes and in disbelief as it lumbered about right through their camp, crushing the stores of all the materials they had just been gathering. Who the fuck thought that would be an interesting event. It just wasted their time, leaving them stuck longer in the swamp. Sighing and shaking his head, as the joy faded. He remained unaware of the new emotion that was slowly encroaching upon him.

One that reared its ugly head, and rapidly consumed him. Especially as @Zelrius stopped by his side as he approached the camp. The man seemed brasher than his normal pushing others out of the way to come at him as if in argument, nearly jabbing him with a finger. Who the fuck was he to do that? They barely knew each other and he had done his part so far. But as if he wasn't even worth the effort of saying whatever disparagement he had primed, the blonde pushed past him to fight the golem beast thing. Was it to tell him to get away from the fight, just because he was weak and new? Fine. Fuck it. If the other man thought he was useless, He'd cower and gather some of the slimes. Someone had to do it, as the rest fought and proved themselves. Stomping away from the ensuing fight he trudged his way into the swamp none all too successfully either. Which only made this worse.

Rather than catching the slimes, they would surprise him, getting to close and gnawing on him and his armor as he popped them with his arrows, only showering him further in the yellow liquid.

"Fuck all of this. I can fight." he'd mutter alone to himself.

He needed some #emotionalsupport from this #slimeparty.

Typically, Regan wouldn't be bothered by anything but battle, but one thing stood out and that was assiting what she understood as a baby in need. Thankfully for Caccu, she hit on all the right points for Regan to move past the glory of battle.

Looking at Cessia, Regan nodded.

"YOU'RE RIGHT, WE HAVE TO SAVE THE CAT! I DON'T TYPICALLY SHY AWAY FROM BATTLE, BUT SOME THINGS ARE OF MORE IMPORTANT!

Regan had been dying to throw herself into another fight. It was her lifeblood, the reason why she existed but cute things took precedence.

"IF IT'S MANASHROOM THE CAT NEEDS THEN IT'S MANASHROOMS THE CAT GETS!"

Unfurling her wings, Regan made ever attempt to get as many specimens as she could.

"COME BACK, KITTEN YOUR MASTER NEEDS YOU!"

"I'm blue," Alpha sang as Zelrius flew past her, swinging like a madman. "Da ba dee da bi doo," she hummed as a slime slung itself into the fray, its tragic suicide and slimy corpse splattered across the battlefield. "Da dee da di ba doo," she picked up another amberslime, shoving it into her pocket. The smelly one that had launched itself at her mere moments ago was gently nibbling on her hair, pulling at its ends, and causing Alpha only a slightly less amount of pain than the giant.

Alpha hopped with a larger than life skip to her step, reaching over to nimbly shove more slimes into her pockets. From deep within, the creatures groaned in pain, pressed and melded together in the cripplingly tight, claustrophobic prison. Somewhere behind her, some girl was singing. Another pink-haired girl was standing at the halfway point between life and death.

Then, she stopped. She leaned up for a moment and looked up to where the the slime on her head should be, nibbling on her scalp. Ah, how joyous was it to be slowly killed by a slime. "Oh you silly goose," she laughed, reaching up to the little thing. She gave it a little rub on its head, before she pinched it and gently pulled it off, the little thing making the cutest little nomnom sounds that filled Alpha's heart with more glee.

"Pwee," it cried. She held it up to eye level so she could gaze into its cute wittle eyes that made her heart burst. "You cutie pie," she smiled, mouth open wide. Slowly, she brought the slime closer and closer to her face. Slowly. Slowly. She lifted her chin up, and dragged the creature into her gaping jaws.

...

Alpha licked her lips. Nothing made her happier than a full stomach. Looking around, she noticed that she had many more dinners ingredients to gather up. With a little jump, she fell right back into her groove. "I'm blue. Da ba dee da ba di."

Ragged breaths escaped her lips as the felis desperately ran back to the swamp, unaware of the chaos that had ensued ever since she was taken hostage. Caccu pushed forth despite the disgusting feeling on her legs as she crossed the border between the jungle and the swamp. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat; sadly, the swamp’s terrible stench prevented the felis from properly finding her way back using her preferred navigation method, her sense of smell.

It was then that she noticed a very faint, but sharply distinct smell coming from somewhere within the swamp. The smell of salt and tears filled her nostrils, and the raven-haired mage waded in its direction as fast as she could.

‘Hang in there, plyease…!’

Guiding herself among the dead trees, she had long forgotten about the slimy sensation. So many of them were beginners. She couldn’t just let them die just yet. They still needed more time to understand how Terrasphere worked, and she had made it her mission to warn new players of the dangers in this world ever since she had been UI-locked herself.

As a myriad of worrying thoughts raced across her mind, she noticed a pair of two blonde haired adventurers that she couldn’t mistake however hard she tried. @Cynna, the fellow grumpy mage, and @Regan, the loudmouthed beastkin were the first two to come into vision, followed by the hot blonde knight @Fiora, a fellow catgirl @Illusa, a newbie with a gigantic bag of mushrooms @Azykia, a pinkette as angry at the world as herself @Kyoko and slime surfing guy @Hayate.

Light danced within her eyes as she tried her best to hold back the tears and a smile tugged at the corner of her lips.

Everybody I'm byac —

CRASH.

The colossal impact of something against the earth stopped her on her tracks, and the first smile she had displayed in this expedition disappeared in an instant. A short rain of slime, generated because of the impact, welcomed her to hell yet again. As her jade orbs glanced upward, the felis began pondering the meaning behind her life choices thus far.

...Nyani the fuck.

Cycle 6D
Mammonite is in my blood, and it bleeds R E D.

Error. Error. Error. It appeared the unit had miscalculated the threat of the intruders it faced. As waves of green slime and flying sludge spread across the scenery, the eyes of the gigantic golem haphazardly moved around within its mechanical sockets yet again. If this kept on, irreversible damage to the unit would prevent further operation, and all preparations for their return would forcefully cease given the lack of proper maintenance and fuel generation. Its steps kicked the most reckless of the group away, while its sword often hit the ground to smash one or two of the stubborn ants below. This could not stand. This would not stand. This shall not stand!

Suddenly, several stone parts on its back moved and opened up, revealing two gigantic stone exhausts. On its feet, two large openings revealed magitech pumping devices that began pulling inordinate amounts of slime all around it. Something big was coming, as yet another mechanical thud could be heard. The golem’s body shook uncontrollably, until —

CHOOOOOOOOOOO!

The absorbed slime was processed and released via the parts on its back, generating huge clouds of green gas. All around you the area darkens even further, as the stinky gas blocked out the sun. Any experienced Terrasphere could tell what was coming. A drastic change in behavior and appearance, traits that could only mean… The enemy had just entered enraged mode.

Shaking down to its core due to the sheer overdrive of magitech energy coursing through its parts, the gigantic golem began preparing yet another swing to put an end to this conflict, but… A field of flowers came into view. As if incredulous, the creature stopped on its tracks, staring at the field and its owner, @Celestine. It’s eyes erratically moved within its sockets again, and its chest heaved as though irate at the presence of such a foul sight. Centuries of careful subjugation of nearby flora and fauna to generate fuel, pin-point accuracy in processes that required constant evaluation, so much effort

And this puny, insolent human had the AUDACITY of trampling all over its lifework!

CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

LOOK OUT!

WAIT, TREVIS! DON’T!

Several smaller exhausts revealed themselves all across its gigantic sword, releasing more noxious green gas. Like a knight ready to draw its blade, the golem positioned its sword back.

The Illusionist and The King protected,

The Beastfolk duo casted their spellcraft,

The Storm had met her match,

The Newcomer had lost her bag,

The protective amber slimes vaporized,

And the slow-footed were dragged along.

It happened in a flash. The earth shook as the blade was dragged along its crust, and in a single, eternally-lasting moment, several members of the Adventurers Guild were gone. As if declared by heavens above, the blade heralded the end of times and the planet was to be split in two as punishment. With a single swing of its sword, a rising crescent dragged across the swamp to perform an attack of titanic proportions never seen before; the wind and the earth cried in unison under the influence of its mighty rising slash. In the aftermath, several gigantic chunks of earth dotted the swamp and a gigantic chasm had been opened, a line separating the amalgamation of slime into two. The viscous liquid fell inside, creating the marvelous yet disgusting sight of two gigantic sources of slime disappearing into the abyss, much like a waterfall. Among the more naive of you, it would seem this was the end of its attack -

Woe be the inexperienced.

It prepared its mighty swing again, this time intent on wiping out the ants struggling about below. However, as fate would have it, @Azykia's bag of glowing mushrooms fell in the slime, drifting away oh so slowly towards the magitek grenades tossed by @Omega Redux. The last ingredient in the mix was the titanic golem's own foot, pressing them both until a reaction caused a massive mana explosion.

The ground below the golem's right foot, which stood near the edge of the chasm, erupted in blue. Even its titanic size could not hold a candle to the might of gravity, and the giant's right leg slid into the chasm with a massive impact. Magikronos had lost its footing and was now stuck on the chasm. Fate had smiled upon you, adventurer, as its second attack was successfully canceled.

Cold. Dark.

Drifting somewhere in between consciousness and the lack of it, the images of your enemy's devastating attack flash before you. Was this the end? The floaty sensation you've felt for a brief moment surely supported that assumption.

Was it another crucial chapter of your journey? It hurts. Were it not for the brave protection of Celestine and Trevis, everyone pulled into that attack surely would have been pulverized into nothing. It hurts, and pain was a state of the living.

Wake up, adventurer, you've got a job to do!

As you open your eyes, you're met with a breath-taking view that few (if any) had ever witnessed in the history of Arcia. In the distant horizon, the sun bathes you in its brilliance. Astorea, Tertoria, Falderen are all within view, and the blue expanse brings with it a nostalgic memento that this is not your home planet. Interestingly enough, at the edge of the Tangleweaves, you also notice gigantic insectoid structures.

Whatever kind of cryptic couple fight they were having, you couldn't hear them given how thin the air was. Hovering somewhere between the borders of the stratosphere and the mesosphere, it became clear this was not where you were meant to belong. And then time flowed again, the almighty push of Magikronos having lost its kinetic potential, and lady gravity did the rest. You are pulled towards the ground, fast!

Adventurer, how do you plan on overcoming this challenge?

Ingredient Gathering

2480 / 2700 HP

Mandragora

Damage: If your actual die (excluding modifiers) is [50] or lower take 20 damage from the wonderful screaming therapy.

Secrets
  • 70+ Presence secret cleared!
  • 70+ K/A secret cleared!
  • 80+ K/A secret cleared!
  • 90+ K/A secret cleared!

These toxic plants thrive in this inhospitable area, where they can't easily be pulled out by other creatures due to the pool of slime protecting them. If using either Awareness or Knowledge for your roll, check if they meet the unlock mechanic for the hidden information listed down below.

Amberslime

Damage: If your actual die (excluding modifiers) is [50] or lower take 15 damage. The slime will munch on your armor and weapon, splashing acid on you.

Secrets
  • 70+ Presence secret cleared!
  • 70+ F/K secret cleared!
  • 80+ F/K secret cleared!
  • 90+ F/K secret cleared!

Amber-colored slimes that quietly swim on the inanimate expanse of stinky jelly. Their diet favors most inorganic matter such as armor and weapons. If using either Fortitude or Knack for your roll, check if they meet the unlock mechanic for the hidden information listed below.

Manashroom

Damage: If your actual die (excluding modifiers) is [50] or lower take 20 damage. You suck at platforming. Have you ever played Super Mario?

Secrets
  • 60+ Presence secret cleared!
  • 70+ K/A secret cleared!
  • 80+ K/A secret cleared!
  • 90+ K/A secret cleared!

Small glowing mushrooms that have overtaken the inner structures of the ancient temple. Over several years, they have been feeding on the mana of all sorts of animals that perish on the surrounding slime. As a result of contact with these overcharged mushrooms, the hidden and malfunctioning magitech of the temple has been activated.

The walls, ground, structures and stairs inside all move at random intervals, seemingly moved by an invisible force. The internal dilapidated structure of the temple apparently has no bottom, ending up in darkness, but considering the amount of vines and platforms it's unlikely that you'll fall deep.

secrets

  • [Mandragora]
    1. It's no secret that Mandragoras are sensitive creatures,
    2. But only the ones who have endured their screams can tell,
    3. That if you poke them right, they release a toxin felines can smell.
  • [Amberslime]
    1. Though they look rather cute, nobody can deny the danger these guys pose,
    2. Very few people know, however, that if you stay near them long enough,
    3. They will talk with you.
  • [Manashroom]
    1. A rarity in the market, though sadly far too common for your needs,
    2. This mushroom is overloaded with deadly amounts of mana,
    3. And in the hands of fate, it shall enable explosive deeds.
  • [Presence Secrets]
    1. [ALL CLEAR]: You have learned and adapted to the dangers of this zone together. When ingredient gathering, gain +15 (+5 from each secret) total bonus to your roll if you tag someone else.

Frantic Gathering

The MIT is in their endgame now and require every bit of ingredients your group can scrounge together. Just close your eyes and ears to all the ruckus and fighting around you. You need to focus. FOCUS! GATHER! LET'S GO!
  • Make an Expertise or Mastery roll (Any) to gather the ingredients requested by the Magical Institute of Theory (MIT).
  • Important: Before you roll, you MUST add an ingredient name at the END of your rollcode. Example: ?r expertise 0 5 # Blah | Name | 550C4D | Manashroom
  • Flow: When you finish rolling, these are the things you need to check for based on your ingredient. In total, you only roll once and check it against the conditions below.
    1. Contribution: Add the roll result to the contribution marker.
    2. Damage: If you rolled below 50, Take the damage listed in the ingredient you're trying to acquire.
    3. Unlock: Check if you meet the requirement to unlock the unknown information on each card.

  • Pick between gathering ingredients or enemy incursion below. Follow the instructions in the cards to move the thread forward!
  • The quota of [1] Trilobite has been reached, and as such, it has been removed from the list of ingredients.

Enemy Incursion

ᛗᚨᚷᛁᚴᚱᛟᚾᛟᛋ
❰ ??? / ??? ❱

Combat Guidelines

The gigantic golem-temple, Magikronos, has unleashed a catastrophic attack upon the adventurers guild expedition group. Several of the members are now plummeting down towards their imminent death. Save them from their untimely end, and keep gathering! The MIT needs you!
  • All players take [20] damage in this cycle because of the toxic gas released by Magikronos.
  • The damage above does not apply to the players hit by Crescent Atlas (tagged in the event).
  • Thanks to the efforts of #TeamFullCensored and @Azykia, the giant golem is stuck and temporarily unable to go on the offensive again. As a result, the contribution bar has been reduced back to [2700].
  • Any number past the total maximum of your contribution bar helps! The more ingredients gathered, the more [Serenity Mist] the MIT can produce!
  • All rolls must be done in the #red-fever-rolls channel.
  • At the moment of posting, refresh and look at the contribution count recorded in post above you and update the total. The contribution tally is counting UP both for ingredient gathering and enemy incursion.
  • You may not use special actions or armor abilities.
  • All players targeted by Crescent Atlas are currently airborne. They must be saved by other players, or otherwise meet their demise by the end of this cycle. They also cannot post until they are saved by someone else. All players tagged in the event post, save for Celestine, take [35] damage.
  • To save one of the airborne players/NPCs, you must use a support action and tag them. Each support action can save one player, regardless of AoE or not.
  • (TANK BUSTER) Crescent Atlas: @Celestine must take 25d20 damage -20 from Trevis, Caccu, and Fiora's combined efforts.

  • [Mandragora secret]
    • Trevis and Caccu will actively participate in combat!
  • [Amberslime secret]
    • If all players write #slimeparty at the end of their posts, you have commanded the amberslimes to shield your friends. All players takes less [10] damage next cycle.
  • [Manashroom secret]
    • You may use manashrooms as bombs. If you gathered Manashrooms, tag another player and buff them for +25 damage (unusable, depleted by critical gathering).

Adventurer's Guild Member - Gold
Red Fever (4) - Rage is a loud, flaming distraction.

MOOD
Scorching flames - heaving, squeezed breaths - the sloshing of slime, with the way it made his dark clothing stick to his body - and the concussive, powerful movements of the Magikronos drowned out any ability to focus. Blonde brows were sore from the scowl that had become a permanent fixture on his face.

Why did my attacks mean NOTHING? The slashes had bounced off uselessly with little more than sparks leaving a trail of odd dents and scratches along the ankles and legs of the enemy. Everyone was so damn useless. They were going to fail here. And deserved it. All of us. Why him? 'Can't something just go my way for once?' Zelrius asked himself, sliding along the mud and slime to dodge another attack. His lungs working overtime in the damp air, unknowingly sucking in heaps of the toxic air around him.

Another attack met with little more than a pathetic ding. And then another with his other blade. Another. Another. Biceps and forearms screamed out in pain, or outright refused to move with the force they had been. The flurry of strikes wasn't enough. This was futile. He was born a loser. Jaw clenching so hard it felt as though the molars toward the back might crack and shatter each other. There needed to be something he could do. The frustration was mounting, his eyes watered from it, unable to control the way it felt like his mind was boiling itself inside his head.

The Golem made a swing with its arm, looking to send all of his allies airborne, a fact that was unknown to the Gold Ranked Adventurer at the time. He only saw an opportunity. The trail behind him was engulfed in cinder in an instant, using its attack to gain the necessary momentum, and swing into the air. Legs and feet cooperating with pure adrenaline and hate. Now it was time to close the distance again. Zelrius covered his descent, feeling the way his throat scratched and tore while calling out in visceral, primal agony. With that call, a stream of fire began to engulf him, and stream toward the creature, his two blades pointed for the openings in the joints of its neck, sinking themselves in, and twisting to destroy the inner machinations.

Failure wasn't an option. And Zelrius was willing to die trying.

Slime... Trilobite.... Manashroom.... Mandragora... Long ago, the four ingredients lived together in harmony... Then everything changed when the Traveler's attacked. Only the ᛗᚨᚷᛁᚴᚱᛟᚾᛟᛋ, master of all ingredients could stop them... But when the ingredients needed it most, it vanished... cause of... THE TRAVELERS AND NPCs WHO WOULD BE ABLE TO DO SOMETHING IF THEY WEREN'T ACTING COMPLETELY USELESS?!

Kyoko was pissed off, people were being useless... In the sky.

"STOP GOOFING AROUND! YOU'RE PISSING ME OFF." Kyoko would shout at everyone in the air. @Mio Ban ; the girl she had met at the bandit raid.

Casting her spirit magic, pulling her down to the ground. Holding her by the shoulders, growling, "Stop acting completely useless, how about you, I DON'T KNOW PAINT ANOTHER PICTURE OR SOMETHING! Save those stupid useless people up there and I don't know.. Ugh" Kyoko reached her finger out and flipping off @Celestine , @Fiora Di Angelo and @Azykia. "HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO LET YOURSELF FLING INTO THE AIR HUH?"

@Brutus Dahlgren ,recognizing him she shut up. @Toko , she directed anger elsewhere, no matter how angry she was... Toko never deserved to be yelled at.

Red Fever (4) - (Joy)

Being thrown from the ground, Mio tried to right herself in the air, free falling but at least not dead. Though she felt the ache inside. The more manic the feeling of joy though, the more anxiety she felt, it wasn't okay, it certainly wasn't safe. She was in trouble, she felt it as she fell. Though Kyo managed to catch her, she exhaled a breath of relief when she was brought back to the ground, relieved. Though she was thankful, thinking of Selene made her grin brightly at the girl who helped her down. "Thanks~ It's okay though it's okay, it'll work out, just be positive yeah?" She offered brightly, her tails swishing, still in her evoked state.

There were other people falling though. reaching up with her hands, she used her tail to paint some help for @Azykia wondering how best to save her. The etherial tails and hands helping creating something of a crazy straw style slide to bring her down safely while limiting her speed with loop-de-loops and swerving angles. At the bottom she'd leave something akin to a slip and slide before flashing her friend from the bandits a bright grin. "See? No worries~" She offered as if the girl was just overly concerned.

Reaching down to Azykia, Mio would smile, trying to help the girl up, the inky slide not leaving any residue on her body as Mio dusted her off. "Anyway, My friend is out there looking for Materials. I should go look for her and make sure she's safe after that too, so don't go getting into more dangerous alright?~" She asked with a wink, trying to turn and bounce away with a song in her heart, hoping to find Selene in the destructive chaos. #slimeparty

Red Fever (3): Sadness
-20 from gas

Things, somehow, got worse. They always did honestly. It could have been a bit funny if it wasn't just so damn tiring. She closed her eyes and floated amidst the Mirror Pool. Things were so much simpler here, all she had to deal with were her own thoughts. No need to deal with constantly trying to guess at other people, just herself and her decisions. She knew though, that wallowing too long wasn't healthy. She'd been down that road before, and nothing good came of it.

There was also the giant golem with a sword, she should probably open her eyes and make sure things didn't get even worse. When she reopened her eyes, she found that a not insignificant portion of the Adventurer's Guild was missing. She could still feel it though, the faint trace of pure water, high in the sky. Letting her senses guide her, she could see that Celestine and Omega Redux were every high in the air. That... was not good at all. From the clouds, a shower of rain began to fall. In particular, it drenched Celestine, Fiora and Caccu, washing away some of their wounds. It wasn't a lot, but she felt like they would need every edge they could get. Seeing that the others had already taken measures to rescue those falling, Sumire focused on the cat girl. The rainwater began to surround her and glowed with a soft light, reflecting the shine of the sun. The transparent shell of water would protect Caccu from any harsh impacts before dispersing. Just like a raindrop. Maybe Sumire could reincarnate as a cloud one day, that sounded nice.

Somehow, she was STILL out here failing to gather mushrooms, even if everything apparently went to hell closeby and there was a sudden cloud of gas that made her cough whenever she breathed it in, though luckily it seemed that the slimes seemed to absorb some of it. She honestly had no clue what the hell was going on, but there was a lot of screaming and flailing and panicking going on.

And she was still here fumbling about picking fucking mushrooms!

She nearly tossed the small pile of manashrooms in her hands in a fit of rage, instead settling for stomping her foot angrily. Goddamn #slimeparty and everything that came with it.

Spotting @Mio Ban approaching her, Selene huffed. "Just what the fuck is going on anymore!?" She snarled.

Cynna... was always angry. It was part of a special skill that came as the price for improving her magic. Yes, she was always angry. There has never been a moment in Terrasphere where Cynna has ever not felt the tinge of that burning emotion. Cynna had never, however, felt it multiplied 10 times. Cynna may as well have been painted red. She was the Char Aznable of anger at this point. This was a new-type of anger-----
-----Maximum turbo grumpy.

Cynna looked up to see all her hard-won efforts go suddenly skyborne. The slimes continued to whisper something as she calculated a plan that seemed to almost come from another dimension...

OtEcqqL.jpg

"Heh... heh... heh... heh heh heh heh..."

Cynna could only laugh as she looked upward.

@Regan "Regan, I am DONE with this. LOOK, all our effort is floating about like BIRD DROPPINGS. WHAT is GOING ON."

Cynna couldn't even. She was shaking. OMG. Cynna took a deep breath...

"Get back down here and DESTROY that GATTDAMMM ROBOT DAMMMMMMITTTTTTTTTTT! DOWN! DOWN! DOWN! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! NOW! VWOOP. A spell fired. It was once again overloaded Chronomancy that tore through space-time as all sound and reality seemed to fade. Perhaps Cynna's new-type new-found rage-sage resonance had located someone. Send me an angel... the angriest one you have...

.2 seconds later, @Toko stood before her. It was as though she had never been skyborne at all.

"Fix this." It wasn't an order; it was an understanding that the chosen angel of destruction could.

Red Fever (4) – Joy
-35 HP
+DR 10 #slimeparty

Azykia was never one to be emotional, but something about this whole trip had her frustrated nearly to tears even when she had found all those mushrooms. Especially moments after she made her success known to everybody around her just for her entire bag to get knocked out of her grasp while she was made to be the world's ragdoll. Before she could spend too long mourning, she felt herself rapidly ascend until she came to a slow drift upwards with a once in a lifetime sight strewn out forher allies to appreciate.

Only her allies though, as the younger girl was unfortunately blind to the physical world. Instead, the resolution of the blast, the magitech golem's attacks, and everybody's efforts created a unique skyscape only she could see. Magic of all sorts of different colors shimmered and swirled all around her in novas, auroras, and sparkles, and her frustrations were quickly forgotten as she began to laugh, more and more and yet more. Even with the lack of air so high up, she was probably the loudest of the airborne adventurers at the moment as she cackled and squirmed, twisting all about to gaze upon a sight so magical it could literally cure depression.

Alas, the sight itself began to shift as a force other than gravity began to pull her down through the unseen cosmos around her, causing her mad fit of laughter and cheers of pure glee to reach their peak as she slid, swerved, and looped all about the inky, cart-less roller coaster all the way to the bottom. She felt someone helping her up and nodded enthusiastically to their declaration. "Yes, yes! I won't, I prooomiiise~!" She gazed back up to where she had come from to get a second look at the storm of magic above. That was when she saw her favorite illusionist's glow among the stars of mana.

She cupped her hands over her mouth. "Come on, Cel-neesaaaa~n!" Immediately after, she took the deepest breath of her career, knelt down, then suddenly reached up to the heavens as her usual Nautilus Spiral climbed higher in gradually bigger circles until a line of holy energy had made its way all the way up to Celestine, apparently boosted by the sheer joy shoved into the spell for her to take. The Lightspeed Hyper Rail hooked onto @Celestine and magnetized her as though Azykia herself was grabbing her by the arm, trying to pull her along for the ride.

Adventurers Guild - Gold Rank

Red Fever Stacks [ 4 ] Disgust x10

One moment Toko was on the ground, relishing the adrenaline coursing through her veins even as the painful spams caused her muscles to constrict—the fibers locking and refusing to cooperate after the massive exertion of her attack—when suddenly everything went dark...

Pain, in amounts that Nao had never experienced in her life, was what brought the rabbitfolk back to consciousness—her agonizing cries silenced from those around her due to the atmosphere they were suddenly flung into. Tears flooded her eyes and, for the first time since beginning her adventure, a small part of the Lepus felt fear at the thought of dying.

"! ! ! @#$%&! ! ! @$#%. . . . . . !"

She suddenly flinched as light encroached upon her.. before her eyes opened wide in surprise, shining brightly as Toko took in the breathtaking view laid out before her. The ocean surrounding part of the coast for Arcia glimmering in various warm tones as the sunlight shone upon it. Out here they were small, insignificant even, and yet she almost felt blessed for witnessing such scenery. Finally she looked away from the stunning sight provided, catching sight of @Brutus Dahlgren and @Azykia further away, as a hand stretched out in their direction... when suddenly everything changed once more.

"... n-nani?!"

She was back, the realization dawning into Toko as her feet sunk into the absolutely disgusting and putrid excretions that covered what was once perhaps a gorgeous lake. ". . . ki-mo-iii!" Her features quickly contorted as absolute disgust flooded through her body, making a retching face as the smell of the place assaulted her nostrils, before turning to look at the chibi Magia standing besides her.

"Fix this."

There was a pause, a moment of consideration, before the rabbitfolk decided this being wasn't disgusting like everything else around them.

"Fine."

With that Toko looked upwards, finding the nearest figure (@Fiora Di Angelo) before Toko's hands stretched out towards the human. A burst of Nature magic rushed forth, causing multiple vines to grow and shoot out from the slime covered surface of the lake before they wrapped around the blonde to slow her descent—carefully carrying her back and offering her a place to stand that wasn't fucking disgusting.
