Luthien landed on an asteroid belt, a surface she had stepped on a week ago. But this time, the whole place was vastly different; the environment was akin to a dead void. There's still the same bed though in the middle of the space, where she could see Dayeon sleeping, curling up like a little girl wearing
a familiar attire. There was no sign of a particular blonde guard whatsoever.
Upon walking closer to the bed, a star in the distance exploded, creating another bigger rupture in space. This time, something slowly formed inside the rupture; lights coming together, building a mirage of something... No, an image even, the image of a place that the blonde would recognize.
Camp Hope IV.
The edges of the spacetime rupture gradually collapsed, revealing more and more of the image, which started to move. There are sounds of fire, lighting, and people shouting suddenly echoing through the void. It has become clear enough that this scene was a memory of Camp Hope Siege, replaying back in her dreams to haunt her.
Her worst nightmare.
The memory was as clear as it could be. A death machine running rampant on the battlefield, causing destruction and death. The view suddenly panned toward a dead body, its head suddenly being detached and retracted back into the machine. The head of a green-haired male.
Kenji.
Moonsong's inner thoughts could be heard loudly across the nothingness of outer space. There was despair, hopelessness, and denial in the air as the robot began to mimic the personality of the dead man.
"I'm right here, Kenji. I'm not going anywhere this time. Tell me what you want, tell me what you need. Anything."
Her cry for plea boomed, as the view focused on the transformed machine. The owner of the eyes slowly walked towards the robot who refused to attack her, allowing her to slowly climb the camp crusher.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't a good woman for you."
Rain falls. Not in the memory inside the rupture, but in the whole place itself. Tears slowly ran down the cheeks of the sleeping brunette.
"I will throw everything away, for you, for us. We can be together again, forever. So, please..."
Yes, it's suddenly raining in dead outer space.
"... Please stop."
