Terrasphere: When the Yladian vs Falderen War begins, Merkaba partakes for more knowledge of other cultures. During this, she learns of the Demons that have chased Yladians from their homeland. Seeing this as yet another sign of her dark god's calling. Merkaba spreads the seed of betrayal into the largest player faction, run by
@Astor Balthas.
The players turn against Falderen to assist the Yladian's survival. It is discovered that King Theodore of Falderen is quite the cruel ruler and an uprising of players vs the NPC that gave them their start began. During this, Merkaba vanished into the night.
- Outside of a rumor that the once Duke of Astorea, Roland had met up with her, Merkaba has not been seen again since.
- Officially, Black Star cult has disbanded, however, its members lurk throughout Astorea and Falderen, perhaps even elsewhere... all for the goal of keeping players in the world to suffer for their Dark Gods. All members of Black Star are UI locks by choice except those used to 'convert' others in real life to the transference.
Real Life: Beretta, an investigator sent by the government, enters into Terrasphere after rumors of it being dangerous surface. Keeping her real name concealed in both real life and the game, Code Name 'Beretta' accepts her mission and begins planning.
Terrasphere: Theodore has a group of players captured of which Beretta was a part. Although a group of heroes with a certain magical girl in tow successfully rescue them. Beretta dies in the mission and mysteriously vanishes from both the game and real life shortly thereafter.
Real Life: Truth News, a conspiracy-fueling alternative information source, states she was found dead.
- It is widely believed by conspiracy theorists that the government is hiding the fact she may still be alive and not just another victim of the 'Death Game'.
- Any attempts to talk about Beretta are silenced by higher-ups.
- It isn't entirely clear which government Beretta worked for.
Terrasphere: The battles between the Starcalled and Falderen heat up. Snefrid of the Lunatic Tribe is used as a weapon to defeat the players. After two separate encounters with the Ice Wolf, the players end her life.
The heart of Snefrid is consumed by
@Ueno Mizuki, somehow allowing her to inherit some of her traits.
Theodore is defeated and Astorea is founded with Astor Balthas as King. Merkaba's vision of a home for her cult came that much closer however the Dark Descender continued to be MIA.
- The Lunatic tribe is considered extinct by both the Sun Claw and Moon Fang tribes and not missed.
- The Lunatics fell to servitude under Theodore through a combined plot of several other parties. The goal was to 'tame the beast'. As the Lunatics were the bane of life and the alpha predators wherever they lurked in the Highlands and surrounding areas.
- Under Theodore, it is believed that the Lunatics were not using their full power and were limited by his control.
Terrasphere: Without invitation or warning, Trinity appears in King
@Astor's royal bed chamber to tell him how happy she is that he played the game so well up to this point and that she could not wait to see what he did next. Astor quickly brushes off being marked as a favorite player and is not visited again.
- Trinity still mentions Astor as a favored top player on occasion. Although she never goes into much detail as to why.
Real Life: One of the players that assisted in the battle against Theodore, Minerva, went mad in real life and attempted to take the life of Hitomi Aki atop a building owned by Nexus.
@Astor Bathas's player, a police officer in the area, promptly arrived on the scene and shot the madwoman. sending her toppling from the roof and saving the life of the terrified employee.
Elizabeth Crowley's body is reportedly discovered burnt to a crisp wearing her ruined VR headset and her secluded home outside New York City much the same.
- No one knows really why Minerva's player went mad and targeted Nexus, She was a sickly woman who lived in a hospital and eventually, the game was taken from her when deemed illegal. Her family supposedly lives abroad and it's unknown where they are at this time. They offered her little attention according to the nurses.
- The hospital she stayed in was the same as the hospital where Ryoko Nexon died during an experimental heart transplant.
- The hospital itself is owned by Nexus Corp.
- Some say Elizabeth was targeted by the 'Grim Alice' who escaped the asylum. Rumors say she was once a member of Elizabeth's cult before being institutionalized.
Terrasphere: A mysterious man approached the fledging nation of Astorea and offered a meeting with a noble that took an interest in the country's founding, Vermillion Romanov. Roland and Alphabet, two veteran players decide to accept and visit the noble.
Vermillion turns out to be a vicious vampiric creature that corrupts Alphabet and easily maims Roland. Now in service to Vermillion, Alphabet learns she is seeking a dangerous and volatile material called prism.
Vermillion's minions begin to go on a corrupting spree of Astorea's female player base. Magi Heart is one of the victims at the hands of a controlled Eldhi. The highly unstable Tenebre Cordis is born. Along with several others such as Megan's conversion to Blank. It is around this point that
@Seigi Ling Ling, the character of Rayna Raytheon, finally joins Terrasphere after so many friends unbeknownst to her had fallen to one threat or another.
- The method of corruption used by Vermillion is a rose stuck into a part of the victim's body. The vines expand and after a moment the target is irrevocably changed.
- Those corrupted become immediately UI-locked much the way dissonance infection affects players. There seems to be little difference between what happens to those rosed vs those that evolve to Second Order Dissonance.
- Vermillion's home, the Vermillion Manor cannot be found no matter how hard one searches. It can be assumed it is either far away from any of the known regions or within its own plane of existence like the plane Azog spawned from.
- Those rosed gain a connection to Vermillion and can teleport back to her at will.
Terrasphere: Triad who appears to be a palette swap of Trinity interrupts a tournament in the Druuk Islands. Declaring disgust with everything being a game, she causes a disaster. Ejecting all partaking players yet causing no actual deaths.
Triad appears again and partakes in the Ale King challenge, choosing to leave shortly after due to his inability to become drunk and thus enjoy it.
- Triad is such a rare appearance. People still argue she is a creepypasta made from bored players who want Trinity to be more interesting.
Terrasphere: A country that exists in the west sends Priscilla Flanst, one of its 4 Oracles and leaders to Astorea. The ancient land of Tertoria has uncloaked itself and seeks to assist the Starcalled in building their home. Gifts and supplies are shipped over.
Funi, the sister of Snefrid, Manipulates a tribe of Orc Raiders to attack the players using a Tertorian Caravan to bait the Orcs. The players protect the caravan and avoid Funi's fiery wrath.
- Priscilla had ordered the delivery without needing to contact Tertus Elania. Astorea was left to Priscilla when it came to diplomacy. Tertoria as a whole has an unknown methodology when it involves dealing with lands beyond its barrier.
- Maximilian is a believer in 'old school' traditional tools and customs of novels written by Priscilla about dashing knights. Hence the caravon and the mounts used were far different than what others from Tertoria would introduce to greater Arcia.
- Priscilla loves the coast and beaches of Falderen. Possibly there is a lack of such things in her homeland.
- Funi learned the names of those that directly led to Snefrid's death. A wandering bard and friend of Seigi, Cain Darliete was the one to share this with her before making his exit.
Real Life: Exiting from Nexus Academy early, and forced to resume rigorous yamato nadeshiko training from her aunt. Chelsea R. Nexon, daughter of Matthias and Ryoko Nexon, a billionaire CEO hailing from Germany and an ex-Japanese Idol respectively, began to meddle in mysteries left unchecked with all eyes on Terrasphere. The one-time heiress of Nexus Corp reluctantly joins Terrasphere as
@Lady N in search of a cure to her misery and clues to her father's disappearance. She received the link as a gift from an unknown Nexus employee who wanted to give her something to enjoy after her loss.
- Matthias is a living legend due to his growth from rags to riches. The man spent his entire life from the moment of his first major success in the media spotlight and his disappearance is rumored to have been a ploy from other billionaires and corporate interests. Especially with how quickly the company was acquired from the Nexon name.
- Ryoko's surname was Owari. A famous Idol and related to a powerful figure in the Japanese government. Shortly after breaking out globally, she met Matthias and eventually became his wife. She was stricken with a severe illness and passed away sometime after.
