Kaede almost tripped over her own feet, sure she sort of understood the fact this girl did not get much a chance for that sort of thing but honestly she felt sort of bad. She would have not lasted half as long had she been as this girl seemed to be. Though when her brain retold the woman about how she was quick to go to the extremes Kaede would only smile like a fool. She had her reasons.

"I like to live life as if today is my last day here.~ If I die I don't want the thought I could have had a lovely night with a fine woman haunting me. it is the same for other things, If I feel like skinny dipping I find a place to do it, if I feel like picking a fight I do it. Life is not constant, so make the moments you got matter even if your sore the next day it's a badge you lived life as you wanted when the final curtain calls us."

Kaede would hum as she spoke the words, proudly pounding her chest at the end as she was living her life without a regert knowing the next hour might be her last. it was both a dark and a bright way of seeing the time she had but that was just how she was going to live now. Humming slowed as she got a devious smile and moved to whisper into Ronja's ear now that others had been around them.

"Besides this is me holding back a little bit.~ Had I not been doing that we would be out in the flower field picking a different type of flower.~"

Kaede smiled before moving away to give the girl some space after being so forward, she had some restraint it seemed, but it was simply her forwardness was just so far up there that it was hard to tell unless she showed her true colors or spoke them from time to time. That said though she would give a pained smile if the girl did not trust her to lock arms again, it made sense but it still hurt sometimes when her honesty got her in trouble.~

Ronja listened to Kaede's philosophy of life, one that was fairly common, but one that could only be taken by someone that had confidence enough in it

"Ronja thinks that living your life as if it was your last day is a good idea. Perhaps the only way to never regret something, as long as you doing harm to anyone." She said, feeling that in her own case, she really can have the last day of her life at any moment. Her body just needed to falter one moment, her condition just needed to get worse at any day, and from day to night, she could be in a grave.

When Kaede approached Ronja's ears, the flush returned to her cheeks, albeit not as intense as the previous times. After all, the other woman was doing these sorts of things so much that Ronja was starting to get used to it, somewhat.

"But why Ronja? You... Just met her." She asked, and her hand reached for the flowers tied to her hair, carefully brushing the tip of her fingers on it.

Her other arm hooked around Kaede's, nodding toward a free table. "Let's have that one?"

Kaede rarely got asked why she showed interest in some woman, it was a welcome change as she would make sure to first pull the chair out for Ronja, and make sure she was seated before getting her own seat across from the woman. She would smile, and switch to a serious expression with a bit of a blush as she decided to give the full truth to Ronja as her reasons.

"The full truth, let me see.~ Your looks make my heart race, the way your eyes hold the brightness of life but also show signs you struggle to keep that glow... Your physical stature even when in a foreign body you push forward. The way you get flustered when teased, and how you have lived life without such a relationship makes he wish to try and give you the things you never had before..."

Kaede tried to keep eye contact the entire time she spoke what was going on in her head, but towards the end even she was red and had to break focus incase the girl did not like her truthful words. She was not good wording things, never in her life could she descript her feelings for others, but showing it was another story. Holding her hands out with palms upward as she would speak again keeping the serious tone.

"I don't think of first meetings as such... Well I guess I sort of due but I don't let it cripple how I feel about a person... You have given me no reason to dislike or hate you, and the only things I know about you make me want to do everything I can to make sure you smile and can enjoy the moments with me for long after either of us might be gone from this world. I've said it before, but my heart has a lot of love for people I only barely know or even pass on the street once... I'd carry everything they could not if asked nicely, and your no exception to that Ronja.~"

Kaede would smile as she met the girls focus as best she could, her face a red shade she rarely had as she spilled her heart and mind out to the almost stranger at the simplest ask of such. She wanted to be able to wear her heart on her sleeve, not keep it locked away in a dark void of a room to avoid getting hurt again by losing someone for Harmony's sake. If that meant getting hurt or stumbling along the way to find the right moments to show it more then she just had to push forward and try.

Ronja unhooked her arm from Kaede's when it was time to sit, glancing at the chair being pulled and offering a faint smile to the woman before taking a seat. She didn't mind this sort of thing, even if it was from another lady. She tilted her head slightly when Kaede started speaking.

Her face slowly grew in a redder tone at everything being tossed at her. Heart racing? Eyes of holding brightness? The other woman was just tossing some really embarrassing stuff in front of her and Ronja had no idea where to bury her face on. Perhaps she wasn't meant to hide her face right now. "U-Uhm... That's... That's very nice of you to say, Kaede." She rubbed her neck, unsure of what to say about it. It was sure the first time someone spoke of her like that.

With lips pursing further, Ronja rose her hands and shook them lightly. "R-Ronja understands now, alright, alright!" If she heard any more of that, she would explode in embarrassment.

Resting a hand on her forehead, Ronja looked up at Kaede, then averted her eyes before taking a breath and replying. "Ronja... Is really flattered about all you are saying, but-" She looked directly at Kaede. "Ronja... Isn't someone that can make such a serious commitment for someone that she had just met. You are very kind, Ronja means it. A dear even." Her touch went for the flowers on her hair, making her feel vaguely guilt.

"But these intense feelings, Ronja... Would be unfair if she told she feels the same. She would like you to smile for sure, but in this... Romantic and bond way, Ronja doesn't hold that. She is very sorry for that." There was a hint of awkwardness growing in her chest.

"I don't mind that since you told me outright. though I will say my feeling won't change without reason and maybe one day your might about me. Till then I guess I should not tease you as much and act as a friendly stranger?~"

Kaede would cough after she spoke and turned her posture to a more relaxed and calm form as she moved her hands off the table with a small smile. She wanted to be more then friends with a lot of people, but it took time and bonding in some cases and she was willing to try if there was a chance. She hated to see girls or even some guys live without someone there for them.

That said though as someone came over with a Menu Kaede did not change her approach to the stranger who she smiled at and took the menu calmly. She knew messing with people while they worked was a bad idea, but her eyes and actions hinted she really wanted to tease this person also but fought it. Humming as she looked over the menu and tried to look like she could read it for a few moments before sighing with defeat and getting her glasses out.

"Yep, still does not feel right to read without glasses on ha-ha. Sure my character does not need them but I'm... rambling again... sorry..."

Kaede would stop herself as she was about to rant on about her real life and make herself sad because it was in the past. Looking the menu over more intently as none of the menu items seemed to have much sour things and was all sweets. Hand digging into her bag to see if she had something sour to no avail leading her into a different issue. Just sweets made her hyper, and a hyper Kaede was far more difficult to deal with. her focus moving over to Totetsu who had at some point before getting into town shrunk down to a normal dog size and was laying at her feet. A careful motion to kick off her sandal to pet the dog and not get her as dirty as if she had used the bottom of sandal might have.

Ronja shook her head at Kaede's words. "You don't need to act like a friendly stranger. You are Ronja's friend by now." She said, once again gesturing to her hair. "Someone that can and do something like that must be a wonderful person, and Ronja would love to at least be friends with someone like that." Ronja said, not wishing Kaede to think she disliked her or something. Deep feelings were just complicated, and she certainly couldn't figure anything out in a matter of a day.

"Ronja thinks you can tease as much as you want. She doesn't mind it. Honestly it is embarrassing, but if it is your way to be-" Ronja paused, rubbing her neck. "Then there is no point in regretting, yeah?" She smiled faintly.

Ronja looked at Kaede's frustration regarding glasses, pausing for a moment and looking at them before offering to take it.

"Can you lend it to Ronja for a bit?" She asked.

Kaede would smile hearing Ronja's words, though internally a twisted laugh that the girl had no idea who was sitting across from her or what the elf would do at the slightest provocations. Reaching to take off her glasses and hand them over curious what the girl had in mind. To make matters odd the 'glasses' was just an iron frame crudely made and without lens. She just had them to comfort herself since her vision was fine in the game but real life she always needed glasses for reading or the words blurred together.

"Well if your fine being teased I'll least try to keep it less forceful and just words not actions until you allow me to start sweeping you off your feet and treating you like the Queen I wish to see you as.~"

Kaede hummed as she overlooked the menu without the glasses or with them returned and eventually decided she would wait for the waitress to return so she could ask what was made with the lowest amount of sugar so she did not end up causing the exact thing she just said she would avoid to happen because she had energy to spare. Either way setting it down to the side of the table as she looked at Ronja with a smile before speaking again.

"So, you mentioned there was a boy once, but I'm able to fluster you so maybe your Bi-curious?~ Also what will you be getting, I myself have to go for least sugar to avoid getting handsy because of to much energy from it and no sour food to break up the pallet."

Humming her words as she swayed in her seat and kept petting her dog who barked about not getting something also but the Elf had planned for it and just liked to tease the dog also. it was a nice change of pace to be on a date, even though a few people passing would mumble about 'the black omen' or 'the gloom and doom' is here and quickly get away from the area. She had a bad reputation and was still trying to get a average one and hell would even trade it for her old pervert title to avoid the dislike she got.

Ronja just smiled faintly to Kaede's words, shaking her head slightly. "Ronja will probably regret this in the future, but it is fine." She chuckled, eventually taking the glasses and holding them gently, with her eyes flickering before brimming in a cyan arcane energy.

"Ronja isn't sure what she is in this aspect, all she knows is that gender doesn't faze her." She said, continuing to work on the glasses, coating them with eerie cyan magic, tracing her fingers carefully on its edges, and blinking sometimes. Her movements felt rather artificial, almost as if she was a robot (and technically, she was). "Ronja isn't really curious about any of that, she isn't... Exactly a romantic person either. Ronja did like her experiences, but compared to you- Ronja is very... Tame? Is that the word?" She mused, tilting her head as she finished the last touch on the glasses before smiling.

"Here." Ronja offered Kaede the glasses back again, and this time the glasses actually had lens.

"It isn't as good as what Ronja can do, but Ronja would say it is something that will make your sight... Better." She offered a sweet smile. If Kaede wore her glasses, the lens on it would now highlight important things within her sight, with the possibility of zooming in and out at specific spots, or reading anything would feel easier and faster to do, acting as some sort of enhanced vision and investigation mode. It wasn't anything game-changing compared to having a mastery, but it was better than a normal vision.

This way, wearing the glasses didn't feel as frivolous as before.

Kaede would happily take the glasses back and try them on, though it was clear from the very first moment she was not ok as her eyes seemed to flash with a mix of terror and sorrow. She had spent the last few years without anything like the UI of the game and seeing it again drew a lot of painful truth and mad memories of what she did in hopes to get it back.

Hands moving to take them off almost as quickly as she had placed them on, her breath a bit heavy as she trembled and had to close her eyes to both try and not think of the UI and get her magic back into a controlled state. The few moments it was not being strictly watched had caused the table around her hand, and the chair she sat on to begin rotting rapidly leaving an imprint on both as she get the lid back on it and checked for any other damage.

Totetsu was smart enough to roll away from Kaede when she noticed the shift and the furry puppy was up against Ronja's feet until Kaede was calm again and would roll back over to her master to get petted once more. Her hand still trembling as it held the glasses against the table, fight her urge to destroy it to avoid another risk of losing control as she tried her best to smile and hide the breakdown while her free hand spun counter clockwise to undo the damage she caused with her Chronomancy.

"Thank you... It's very lovely... A warning for a UI locked may have been a bit nice... but I still love you all the same... I'm just a bit more... Vivid with my emotion due to being an elf... I assure you it was not that disliked as it might have looked... Just... unexpected... is all..."

Kaede spoke with a timid voice, partly still trembling in her tone as she could not bring herself to get the glasses back on to show she was not as bothered. Being an Elf sucked sometimes in matters of Anger, Terror, Sadness, or jealousy. Moving the glasses back into her bag, with the intent to maybe when not in a public space try to get used to them so the next time she met Ronja maybe she could wear them to show how much the effort was appreciated.

Kaede's reaction was far from being expected. Ronja thought it would be taken like a quirky magical item. Something that would improve her vision just like glasses did with someone who needed them. This way she would have a reason to wear them and feel the difference.

But Ronja didn't think about everything it could imply.

"Ronja... can remove the enchantment if you want to. Maybe she should have gone for something more simple." She rubbed her neck, not realizing that her idea would have the opposite result. What a way to backfire things, not even for a second she had considered it was a bad idea. Just like showing a wonderful places around the world for who can't leave their beds to appreciate it themselves, but in reality you only make them feel bad for not being able to be there themselves.

"Ronja apologizes for that, she didn't mean to do such a thing." She said, clenching her fists against her legs, wanting to bury her face somewhere else now. She needed to understand that condition a bit more.

Kaede Would her hands like a anime character might when saying 'it's fine, it's fine' over and over to someone as she tried to ease the situation. She hated how she sometimes just spoke and did not think things over before or after. Had she a gold piece for each time her words got her in trouble there would be none left for anyone else to have in this region. Moving off the topic as Kaede tried to look like everything was fine as the server came back for the order.

"I'll take a Honey moon pie and if you have anything sour-ish that also please... Oh and an vanilla Ice cream in a bowl for little miss trouble under the table."

"And then for you miss?"

The server would look over to Ronja while Totetsu grumbled under the table about being called miss trouble. Kaede would not take it back as the hound landed the two of them in about as much trouble as her own mouth did sometimes if only shy a few times. The small little skirmish the two had would prevent Kaede from hearing what Ronja ordered and only stopped when she noticed the server walking away. To lighten the mood Kaede would go back to 'normal'.

"So, you have experienced some but not all? Makes me wonder how far you have gotten and what type of person you are under the sheets when it may happen with you.~ If I'm being honest I always have a bad habit of being a dominative type under the covers.~ That said though, I guess the best way to ask yourself what way you might lean is to close your eyes and think of someone you care about more then a family member or in a different way then them. Like wanting to imagine what they look like undressed."

Kaede would close her eyes as if to do it herself, sadly all she saw was the people she could not see anymore like her father and roommate from collage. She missed them and that normally stopped her from playing her little game of mind's eye. If she opened her eyes to notice Ronja was trying to figure out who she might see Kaede would lean over the table and get as close as she could to Ronja's ear to tease the girl with a whisper once more.

"Seeing me and the waitress undressed is fine, three ways can be fun for first times also I've been told.~ Though that would be a rather bold thing to see.~"

Even with the reassurance, Ronja could feel the awkwardness crawling in her chest, something that only grew, but soon the situation was saved by a waitress appearing. "Ah, uh. Ronja wants the same, but with mint tea for drink." She said, casting a glance at the waitress, that nodded while noting the orders and bowing before leaving.

The conversation shifted once again to something intimate, making her cheeks warm at the same time there was a faint bitter feeling in her mouth. She couldn't really complain after what just happened.

"Ronja... Had some experience, but Ronja isn't exactly energetic out of here. It is one of the many reasons things didn't work out." She said, slipping a sigh, peeking up at Kaede.

"Dominant? Ronja can see that. You are very imposing." She said, considering how things happened so far.

For the suggestion, Ronja paused for a moment, closing her eyes and trying to think about it. Granted trying to imagine someone undressed was rather embarrassing.

But soon the whisper made her flinch, opening her eyes to see Kaede very close.

"R-Ronja isn't thinking about the waitress undressing!" She whispered-shouted, red faced.

"Ohh-ho?~ So you aren't seeing her but you did see me?~ I'd be happy to make it less mind eye and more know it if I get to see you also.~"

Kaede Hummed as she leaned over the table more until she was mere inches from Ronja's face. Her own was also red, though likely more controlled and aware of the matter as she smiled some. Oh how badly she wanted to try for a kiss in the heat of the moment, how badly she wanted to see if she was actually that liked on first meeting. But alas she agreed to behave some and opted to just lean up and Kiss Ronja's forehead before sitting back down humming.

"I won't get forceful and demanding just yet with you unless you admit to wanting in little Ronja. This game is great to experience what you normally can't or struggled to. That said though, I am not sure how it might work for magia... I know for elves we got the curse our emotions are turned up so durability and duration takes practice and time to perfect. Beast-folk I know have... times when they want it.~ Faerin... are fun, and humans are normal. Will say never been with a Magia so will be a first for both of us if you want it.~"

Kaede chuckled as she kept her tone down to be nice and not make the girl any more nervous then she needed. Totetsu moved to bite Kaede's foot for teasing so much making the elf chuckle and setting down her seat more. The shy and novice just got her way more riled up, the idea of teaching them ropes or seeing them change to find their desires was just so much fun and gave her solace in the idea her openness for anything or just about it could help them better find out who they wanted to be and become.

That said though Kaede would sway in her seat humming about getting undressed by a friend. She wanted to tease and move some of her clothing off but decided not to go that far in fear next bite for Totetsu would draw blood and not just remind the elf she was trying to behave. So she simply watched, listened, and enjoyed the teasing she had done thus far in her mind on repeat while awaiting maybe more to happen or the far idea Ronja tried to get some payback.

Ronja pursed her lips, crossing her arms. "R-Ronja didn't have anyone else to think about, who else she would think?" She sighed. "You are shameless anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem." Perhaps her approach about it was too rational, but now that Kaede voiced it, misunderstandings were clear.

Her cheeks grew redder at the offer, and she shook her head. "No, Ronja doesn't want to see anything-!" She retorted, pursing her lips looking at Kaede that suddenly approached very closely, it took an effort for Ronja to not lean away. She wanted to trust Kaede, even if she didn't have the same feelings, she wanted to believe in her.

The kiss on the forehead was unexpected, and she touched it with an intense flushing.

"F-First? That's..." She sank her back on her chair, averting her eyes. "Ronja knows she can do much more with this body, but still..." Ronja held her breath, casting a glance toward the counter of the cafe, hoping to distract herself.

"Relax, I'll dial myself back again so long as you don't go tempting my heart again because next time... I'm stealing those lips at the very least once.~ ... Now I'll stop.~"

Kaede's tone was a flirtish, but dead serious until the end as she went back to a silly tone. Every time Ronja did something silly, shy, or easily misunderstand able had Kaede's heart racing and she could only control it so many times before even her mind wanted a piece. Humming in her seat as she finished the words moving her finger from her own lips. She was after extra sweets that did not upset her stomach if this kept up and she moved her other hand to pinch her thigh to calm down more.

She knew she was pushing her luck being so forward, but she was also not wanting to hide herself behind tame actions as it was not her. She wanted Ronja but wanted the girl to accept the approach before trying to make it happen. It was honestly all her mind was thinking about aside from her magic lid staying sealed. Either way Kaede would move her focus to the area to distract herself and noticed something she had tried to ignore for a while now.

About two tables behind them two people had been glaring at her, averting their gaze every so often but clearly they had an issue with the elf being there and Kaede had a rough idea why. She knew them, a clouded memory of fighting alongside them and a friend of theirs against some cultist landers a few years back. They got split due to a trap and Kaede was stuck with the one who did not make it out because she did not worry about the man's life and left him to die when he kept triggering traps.

Either way they seemed fine leaving them as it was, and Kaede was in the sense on a date and she would be damned to ruin such a thing to deal with men being pricks that they lost a dumb buddy doing dumb shit and the woman lived. To be fair she also took the mission on drunk, and left the two of them to deal with their own mess when they regrouped so they had plenty of reasons to dislike her. Humming as she moved her focus back to watching the street waiting for the sweets to arrive or a topic to stat up having felt she always made things... warmer.~

A sigh escaped from Ronja's lips, and she looked up at Kaede holding a hand on her chest, frowning puzzled at her words. "I-Is Ronja even tempting you for that? She is just being herself and doing no biggie!" She said, almost protesting at the excuse the other woman was using. If anything, she wished the other to just be honest and admit she was teasing her because yes.

Two of her fingers went and rested against her lips, in a brief cover before she once again sighed. "You are really making Ronja confused with all of this." She rubbed her neck, looking up at Kaede's eyes and noticing they averted to somewhere in a lingering way.

Blinking, Ronja tried to follow Kaede's line of sight, albeit subtly.

A few glares were very clear for Ronja, and she froze for a moment, realizing that she didn't notice anything until now. How long they have been watching the two of them?

"Someone is looking here." Ronja said, looking at Kaede and being sure she knew it.

Kaede would not respond to Ronja right away, she was shocked the girl seemed to forget Kaede saying just the girl being there was making her heart skip, or how she mentioned saying something she could misunderstand as a Segway was what caused her to be struggling so much to not pounce and steal her lips. Either way when the Magia pointed out the two men Kaede could only sigh as the two seemed to catch on and decided now was time to approach. A silent curse under her breath as she got up and moved away from the table so Ronja would not get mixed into the mess.

"Hello dumb and dumber... I see you two still make bad choices by thinking approaching me when I'm enjoying a date is a wise idea. Recall the last time you tried to start something with me and you got stuck fixing a large area from the fighting? Or did all the times you got slammed to the floor not allow such a memory to stick around?"

"We told you to stay out of this town witch, or do we need to get the town guard to drag you out."

Kaede could only sigh at the men, she knew damn well the guard would not kick her out without reason so she simple yawned and tried to walk away from them to resume her date. The hand on her shoulder though stopping her mid step as the people around murmured the same thing 'run' as people scattered and Kaede proceeded to reach and flip the man into the nearby table as softly as she could. her hair falling over her face to hide she was embarrassed she had to get violent in front of her date.

The other male seemed to wise up and rushed to their friend to get them and take them away no doubt to the nearest guard to get Kaede kicked out or stuck in a cell for a few nights again. With a sigh she would simply walk to the destroyed table, using her magic to restore it, then head back to her seat across from where she hoped Ronja was still sitting. if not she would sit alone, waiting for the guards and hopeful that maybe she would get to eat before getting stuck in a cell or dealing with their lecture about fighting in public like that.

Ronja blinked puzzled when Kaede stood from her seat, shifting glances between her and the men who were looking at her.

As she moved away, Ronja stood from her seat herself, with a confused frown crossing her face as she followed Kaede from behind, even if she wasn't asked.

The hostility, however, made Ronja's confused face turn into an angry one.

"Hey! You can't order people around!" Ronja retorted, resting a hand right on top of her wrench, in case things went dirty. She didn't want to engage in combat, but she wasn't going to hold back either, especially with her friend being mistreated like that.

Fight blew up, but when it showed to be mostly one-sided, Ronja took a step away to not get caught in any attack.

The man was sent flying to the table, and as both of them ran away, Ronja frowned watching the cowardice, following to the destroyed tabke that was being repaired and picking up everything that fell, placing it back to place before moving back to her table. "What was that about?" She asked, still confused about it.

"They part of a old group of adventures from the four years the game was locked that i got stuck along with to deal with a cult. Their buddy rushed in triggering trap after trap and eventually got them split away from us. When he kept doing stupid shit I just left him to die to his own messes. They blame me for it to this day."

Kaede would scratch the back of her head as people began to return to the area, some whispering it was a shock Kaede did not level the area over the small annoyance. her face a bright red as people talked about it louder and resumed eating or enjoying the scene around them all the while making Kaede more flustered. She hated when people called her strong, or pointed out her bad temper and the results of it. Some going as far as to recount the time she almost level a city block because she missed a grocery sale by minutes. Hiding as she slunked down in her chair to resume the story.

"If only to make matters worse when I regrouped with them and explained it they got angry and shouted leading the cultist right to us. I simply decided to deal with only the ones dumb enough to attack me, and left when they got the idea and only went after them. Since then they have tried to get me tossed in jail or worse and end up as you saw previously each time... Though maybe I can spin this in my favor..."

Kaede would stop talking aloud as she sat up, her eyes showing she was in deep thought as she tried to find a way to explain things to make it so she was not spending any time in a cell or at the guard station today. She just had to sound convincing enough, and maybe the people here would back her up afraid if they spoke against what she was saying maybe? Though she likely knew even the town guard would not push the issue if Kaede set her foot down on the fact she did nothing to them and there was no evidence or real witness aside from Ronja.

Part of Kaede wanted to ask the girl to cover for her, but she also felt bad if she tried something like that so she would keep trying to think of something as the sweets arrived and the waitress set a bowl of ice cream on the floor for Totetsu who waited for the go ahead that did not seem to be spoken or planned any time soon as the elf was deep in thought about making a small white lie work.

Ronja listened attentively to the story, blinking surprised at the man's recklessness and how unreasonable the others were. Of course, Ronja couldn't know the whole deal behind it since she wasn't there. And perhaps Kaede could be hiding something, but-

For some reason, it felt to Ronja that Kaede, as eccentric as she was, wasn't a lying type. Perhaps she was way too honest.

"Ronja thinks you should try to avoid those people then. She is sorry she caught their attention even more by pointing them out." She sighed, rubbing her neck before perking up at their order finally coming in.

"Ah, there it is!" Ronja said, taking a fork and staring at the pie hungrily, taking bits and pieces of it and munching it carefully.

"Hmm-! Its texture feels so nice in Ronja's mouth." She giggled. "Too bad Ronja can't really taste it, but she somewhat knows its flavor by the smell." Ronja revealed.
