Mega Summerfest 2032

It's summertime.

She had told her friends inside Terrasphere that she'll be taking one week off the game at the start of summer. The in-game body is already due for maintenance anyway, so she left it in the coma salon which the owner's name she cannot pronounce. When pressed further, Moonsong just said before leaving.

"I'm going to Mega Summerfest 2032. Wait, you don't know? Don't you have, social life or something?"

Mega Summerfest is an annual summer festival held in Central Park, New York (except last year when it got cancelled by unknown circumstances). There's a bunch of food, drinks, games, corporations announcing new products, and most importantly, concert performances of artists from all over the world!

Day 1

"Huh, there's not that many people yet,"
Dayeon commented. Of
wlfW3qY.jpg
course, it's still eight in the morning; the sunlight doesn't even feel that hot yet. She arrived early by hyperloop just to reserve a place in the front row for the first performance of the day by Luis Fonsi, who will probably perform his long-awaited sequel single Despacitwo.

God, that song was such a summer banger.

The girl walked through the massive park, looking left and right at the stands still setting things up. Somehow, there's already a line of people in front of the nearest ice cream truck. Being the sweet tooth that she is, Dayeon instinctively lined up at the back, waiting patiently for a dessert so early in the day. Her slot was late in the afternoon anyway, so an ice cream or two won't wreck her vocal cords. The girl looked around as crowds slowly formed in the massive park. Maybe she'll recognize a face or two.

Oh wait, she doesn't have friends.

Hello!

This is an open real-life thread that is open to everyone. Timeline-wise, it would be at the end of June/the start of July (after the fishing thread). The festival runs for a whole week, starting on Day 1, but there's no strict time progression or posting order, so feel free to enjoy the summer RL shenanigans with your friends in fluid time. (You can include the time indicator in your post for convenience for example).

Don't be shy to tag others and goof around, and maybe spin off to your own private threads. Everyone is free to throw in new events, mini-games, or even interactions.

Well, she'd made it this far. It was weird, being out and about in the real world like this, she could almost feel the itch, the desire, to run away and back to the virtual world of Terrasphere. She could feel her anxiety spiking, as she moved through the small amount of people who were here - others who were silly enough to arrive hours before the actual shows were set to begin.

And this isn't even the busy time. There's going to be thousands more people here...and likely soon. A shiver ran down her spine at the thought. So many people, all in one place, all jostling around trying to get past one another. It wasn't quite a nightmare, but it was far more than Naomi was used to encountering.

Another individual caught Naomi's attention, someone seemingly eyeing the crowd like she herself was. Something about their stance, about their entire behaviour seemed familiar, and yet Naomi couldn't quite figure out what it was. She considered going over and asking the individual if they'd met before, tossing the idea aside almost immediately as she realised one crucial point - there was no possibility they had met before, unless the other individual was also from Naomi's small hometown.

She sighed, wondering how to approach them as she continued eyeing them, desperately trying to appear casual by letting her gaze wander over the nearby attractions that were still being full set up - slowly opening with the time passing. Just had to show up as early as possible...should've stayed in the hotel room. Stupid idea. But...less people. Perfectly matches the lack of open venues right now, too.

Another soft sigh to herself as she pushed aside the internal argument. It wasn't going to get her anywhere, other than a possible headache and more anxiety. Which was something she could do without.

Shrugging aside her doubts, and trying to push back the anxiety, Naomi took the ten steps across to the other girl who was glancing about, force out a question against all the nerves that caused her body to shake.

"Hi! Uhm! Are you a performer? Or like a venue? I mean, not a venue. Like. Are you visiting the show? Ohgods. Uhh what I'm trying to ask is...are you here to see a show?"

Her face had flushed to the point she figured the other girl could feel the heat coming from her, and she cursed herself internally as the words spilt out with a speed that bespoke someone who had some sort of problem, which she guessed she did in a way. It took every ounce of strength for her not to flee from the area, figuring that would only make matters worse. Imagine running into her later after I did that. Why does meeting people suck so much?

It had been a while since Danielle had last been to New York, but work had finally had a lull and the Mega Summerfest just happened to coincide with that as well! It was, in a word, quite a lovely coincidence indeed, and while it sucked that Sabine was off on the west coast (and that Raina and Wendy were both dead) and the rest of her friends were still locked up in their cubicles, she was able to reach out to one friend to join her.

Well, even if that friend was busy, Danielle still would’ve forced it. Some things were definitely going on with Chelsea, and even if the younger lady didn’t want to talk about it, she could at least stop being a pasty little nerd and go touch some grass for once.

Stepping out of the bus and into the wave of music that blasted out from the many stages set up all around Central Park, Danielle took in a deep breath, enjoying the medley of scents and sounds that practically slapped her across the face. Pop performances and summertime bops were great, but honestly, she was here for that rock shit. Ambient Synthesia was performing tomorrow, and Raise A Suilen was opening for the evening at the main stage. There was Buckethead and AXIS too, and of course, no way in hell was she going to miss out on Starset’s new song that they had been teasing for the last couple months.

And of course, with all those bands showing up, how else could she dress but in the most alt outfit she had? Earrings and chains pierced her ears, while a hot pink sports bra peeked out from her zipper-lanced tanktop, while a near-egregious amount of leather belts interwove her upper body. Royal blue hot pants hugged her hips courtesy of a studded belt, and a haf-ripped plaid skirt hung from it as well, exposing her shapely legs for all the weird fetish-y people that tried their pick-up game here.

That’s why she wore rings too, of course. Plenty of improvised knuckledusters if some chucklefuck was getting handsy.

As she strode through the litter-laden park paths, shooting a sympathetic smile at the summerfest volunteers who were doing their best to pick up the trash, Danielle drew out her phone and shot off a quick text to Chelsea.

Mail

Ey, where are ya, Chelsea (@Lady N)? Can't be lugging my cooler 'round forever, so meet me at the Shakespeare Garden!

One of the cool things about Valeria's self employment was the flexibility it afforded her, and so when the Mega Summerfest 2032 had been announced the blonde had zero hesitation in booking tickets for the event... as well as a hotel room and whatever else was necessary for the trip. There had been a moment of hesitation regarding her VR headset, but eventually the girl decided to leave it back at home—after all she would probably be extremely busy with all of the events, so getting time for some TerraSphere 2 shenanigans would probably be hard to manage.

"Whoooaaa... this place is gigaaantic!"

New York wasn't exactly known for its nature, after all the city was mostly concrete and skyscrapers, so it made the existance of Central Park all the more impacting after having to deal with troublesome things like arriving from a flight and checking in at her hotel the day before... because of course she'd been extra enough to arrive a day earlier, and also leave a day after the event—there was no way Val was risking missing anything about this, especially after it had been cancelled the year prior!

"I see, so Luis Fonsi is scheduled today... he's totally playing Despacitwo, I'd bet money on it~"

Arriving early meant that the park wasn't overcrowded still, and the sun wasn't as spicy as it would get later in the day, but it was still warm enough outside where a cold treat would be welcomed. A small cup with a single scoop of extra dark chocolate ice cream was in her hands as Valeria walked around the park, occasionally taking a spoonful and squealing in delight. It felt nice to be out and about... even if she was here on her lonesome.

Oh well, that just meant she could meet new people~

It was few and far between that Isaac took a day off, but in reality he wasn't really not working, he was just...working differently. Such an event was run by one of the companies he was thinking about investing in, so clearly he needed to know how their events went. Perhaps next year some of Clarke's own performers would be making a show of it. Perhaps NOVA? The idea was an interesting one.

However, one could not be as famous and fabulously wealthy as he without having a bodyguard present, but to do so would cause a scene and ruin his own cover. Instead he'd opted for a more casual approach. The world had never seen him out in public without a suit and tie on, so today he was dressed simply. Black Armani short, Gucci slides, and red shorts. He didn't look like a billionaire business tycoon, he looked like he probably would sell you designer party drugs. To one side of him, was a young boy by the name of Ikarus Steel, or Ike for short (the red headed youngster in the art.) On his other side was a massive hulking mound of muscle and machismo, Victor Steele. The man was equal parts bodyguard, close friend, business assistant, and family member.

The Steele family had worked alongside the Clarke family for decades, their grandfathers had been business partners. His mother had been a Steele, making Victor his cousin. He was the only person in which Isaac had much personal interest, though his little brother Ikarus was a close second if not annoying.

"Any issues Victor?" Isaac would ask munching on a hamburger. This was a fun event, the diet could die for the moment.

"Unless you're talking about the sheer amount of baddies around and you're not looking at any of them." The red haired man would grin clapping his "boss" on the shoulder.

"Ah yes, this again."

"You need to get back on the saddle again bud!"

"Why does Izzy need to get on a saddle? We went horseback riding the other day."
Ikarus would ask.

"Ignore your brother, and disregard anything he has to say about women Ikarus." Isaac would glare at the red haired giant who most certainly was not part of the inspiration for his avatar at all. "Focus on having a good time and enjoying the music."

"Kay~"

With the end of the school semester had come graduation. And graduation meant no more homework, no more projects, no more thesis work. Just resting. Finally.

Although, that really just meant that Ari was going stir-crazy. Aside from his work at the coffee shop, Ari had nothing to do but look for jobs, and there were only so many classifieds he could look at in a day.

So, when the opportunity to get the hell out of Philly and do literally anything else came along in the form of Mega Summerfest 2032, Ari practically leapt at the chance. Perks of having won the lottery.

Walking around in the fresh air, a glass of lemonade in hand, touching grass as one might say, it might have been a stretch to say that Ari was enjoying himself, but it was better than being cooped up in his room.

Scrolling up and down on his phone as he browsed the artists for the festival, the man spotted Illenium on the list, almost instinctively starting to hum one of his songs, counter to what was being blasted from the artist on stage now. He'd have to see him. Couldn't miss the chance to see a legend like that. Oh, or Porter either. Great artists this year.

"Oof! Fuck, I'm so sorry!" Ari stumbled backwards a step as he collided into another's body and something softly thudded onto the ground. Looking at who the man had stumbled into, he was met with the deadpan stare of a blonde girl, indignation written across her face. Looking down, Ari spotted both the source of the quiet 'splat' sound, and the girl's annoyance. Chocolate ice cream, now melting into the ground, the sweet, cold goodness lost forever. "I am so fuckin' sorry," Ari repeated, meeting the girl's eyes once more. "Uh, can I buy a you a new one?"

One hand had been holding the small cup with her chilled treat, the other absently scrolling through her phone as Valeria took another look at the long list of artists scheduled for the Summerfest week, when something unexpectedly bumped into her side.

"What the—"

Caught unaware she was understandably startled by the impact, stumbling a step forwards in response, before the blonde was forced to make a split second choice... one that was perhaps of no surprise when one compared the ice cream cup on her left hand versus the high end smartphone model on her right.

Even if her device was fit snugly into a cover while also sporting a screen protector it just wasn't natural to let go of a smartphone and play a gacha roll every time it smacked into the floor—and just because they were currently standing on grass didn't meant a rock or some other hard object couldn't be hiding under the blades, so she kept her grip tight on the device. Unfortunately that meant the ice cream cup had tumbled right out of her grasp and straight into the grass below...

"... ¿en serio?"

A pair of pink tinted eyes turned to look towards the person responsible for her current loss, the blonde unable to prevent the deadpan stare and indignation of her face. At least the boy seemed to have a braincell inside that skull of his, his eyes shifting from her face to the dropped ice cream and back as curse laced apologies slipped out of his mouth.

"Uh, can I buy a you a new one?"
"Like I'd let you get away if you didn't... but you better hope they haven't run out of dark chocolate."

Dayeon Song

It's starting to feel hot here, even though it's technically still morning. Guess
wlfW3qY.jpg
the long line in front of the ice cream was an indicator of it, and it seems the line's not shortening soon. Damn it, if she has to wait more than ten minutes, she'll definitely miss the front row seat to the Luis Fonsi performance.

Tell you what, Despacito was a pretty meme-y fun song that's mostly about sex. But the sequel, Despacitwo? It's a masterpiece of a song about how everyone can slowly reconnect, and all you need is to reach. Not to mention that it's somehow a summer bop as well. Nothing will stop her from being in the front row, not even chocolate ice cream in the hottest summer.

Suddenly out of the blue, a woman came from the left and greeted her before quickly blurting all kinds of questions. Dayeon turned her head to have a proper look and she could swear that she wasn't in Terrasphere right now, but the woman currently standing in front of her with a flushed face couldn't be anyone other @Kyra Vashtana.

Her eyes wide, she tried to scan the woman from top to bottom to clear her confusion. There's no mistaking it; red eyes, purple hair. No fox ears, but that's because people in real life don't have those. What's the chance of literally bumping into a Terrasphere player as soon as she left Boston?

Calm yourself, Dayeon. Answer the questions first, then confirm later if the purple-haired woman recognized her.

"Ah, hello." She replied with a slight bow, a display of formality. "Yes, I am here to watch the performance of my favourite artist. But currently I'm waiting in line for a scoop of ice cream." Dayeon joked, before continuing. "But I am also a performer, though. If you want to see me, it's on 2 pm." She pointed at her stage name DAYEONSONG the hanging sign. "... Do we know each other?" She followed up naturally with the important question, masquerading as asking the other person's name. Maybe there's a hint.

"Next!"

"Oh, it's my turn. You want ice cream or what?" Dayeon ended up ordering one chocolate ice cream for herself and another for the woman, even if she rejected the offer. "It's on me. Go watch my performance later, okay? Gotta run, can't miss the front row for Luis Fonsi's Despacitwo. Unless you want to watch him, too." The girl with the glasses promptly ran towards the path to the main stage with the chocolate ice cream in her left hand.

The words rang in her head. But I am also a performer, though. She'd managed to find one of the actual people who'd be up on stage, performing for crowds. Someone who clearly wasn't afraid of being in front of crowds, but who enjoyed putting on a perfomance. An extrovert. Shitshitshitshitshit.

Her mind raced as she suddenly stiffly turned and walked away. She made it a collection of six full steps before realising what she'd done. She felt her ears redden on their tops, her face far more flushed than it had been originally. Her heart raced, a rollercoaster of emotions flowing through her. An actual performer. Holyshitthey'refamous.WhatdoIdo?!

Outwardly, she appeared calm - if one could consider the wide-eyed, fear stricken expression and stiff-jointed stance calm. Slowly, with an almost exaggerated movement, she turned and made her way back towards the other. She'd managed to finally process the questions that had been said while she had her minor social-meltdown, and through a bright red face that matched a shivering body, she tried to answer.

"Oh...uhm...no. No I don't think. Do we know? I mean I don't know anyone. I mean. I don't really people. I don't. People. People hard. I-"

Her words were coming out in a fashion that bespoke her awkwardness. Another reminder as to why she usually stayed indoors, hiding away in Terrasphere when she didn't have to work. How she could be so successful as a social worker was beyond her own comprehension.

"Sorry. You're famous. I'm not. Words are hard. People are hard. I swear I'm not stupid. Normally. I'm just. You know, nervous. No wait. You probably don't know. I'm not really good at this."

She shook herself, a wave of utter humiliation taking over her. The other woman had deigned to speak to her, and instead all she got was this. What would Kyra do? The thought struck something, and Naomi suddenly felt everything change - her shivering stopped, although she could still feel her face burning. Her mind slowly came to a crawl - the anxiety giving way beneath calmer thoughts. Just...do what Kyra would do...

"Okay uhm...let me start over. Hi, I'm Ky-err, I mean Naomi. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm...I'm sorry about all of that...I don't get out much. I'm not really a people person, so to speak. Odd, considering I'm a social worker, right? Err...anyways. It's...nice to meet you. Yes. Yes I'll definitely come see your show. Although I'll admit, it wasn't originally on my plans...but...still. I'll uh...I'll be there. For sure."

This was going about as well as Naomi had expected. She was sure the other would slink away the first chance they got, and she couldn't blame them. It was like meeting a hardcore fan, but with a lower intellect. At least the fans have the excuse of being star-shocked...you're just a bumbling idiot. This poor woman...

Aisling hadn't exactly planned on going to the Summerfest - her taste in music had unfortunately become the kind of thing you heard in grocery stores and variety radio stations. And while she considered herself to be open-minded about newer genres, it still didn't change the fact that she was at least 10 years above the average age at an event like this.

Yet when a former co-worker heard she was moving to the East Coast they had insisted on passing her a VIP pass they'd planned to use before their plans had changed. And with her future schedule still up in the air, it wasn't as if she had anything else to do...

"Go experience some culture", huh. At least the park is nice...

She was dressed for comfort rather than looks - jeans, a shirt for some long-outdated video game, a light jacket tied around her waist to assuage years of northwest paranoia despite the summer heat. It just made her stand out more among the younger, more fashionable crowd...

(God damnit Ash, don't get weird about younger people. You are not a boomer.)

Music from the few early shows carried across the air, but she was more occupied with her phone as she scrolled through the day's schedule. There were a few bands she recognized, but most of those were slated for the weekend, and she didn't know if she'd have this pass by them. But there were some bands that at least looked interesting, especially after looking them up. Although...

...some of these band names look like joke names.

She looked up, watching people gather and converse in the distance. For a moment she found herself staring at a woman with purple hair (@Kyra Vashtana) as some vague sense of familiarity prickled at the back of her mind, but she knew that she didn't know that person. She'd probably just been playing too much Terrasphere, with its broad spectrum of hair colors.

The girl stared back at Ari with an annoyed look in her magenta eyes. What was it with him and running into girls that wanted to kick his ass? Quite literally in this case. But as if some merciful god had deigned to spare him another fist to the face, the girl agreed to his offer of getting her a new scoop, accompanying it with a thinly veiled threat. Was it a merciful god, or a devil making a deal? With Ari's luck, probably the latter.

"Er, yeah. C'mon..." Ari said nervously with a slight nod before turning to look around for the ice cream stand. There it was, not too far away, but with a line a mile long. Oh for fuck's sake. They were going to be stuck there for a while.

Ari got into the line (presumably with the blonde) in silence, feeling a good deal awkward. If this girl played Terrasphere, Ari would've bet money that she had the aura mastery. Her annoyance was practically palpable. In an attempt to assuage the girl's anger (and perhaps save his own skin) the man figured he might as well say something, seeing as they were stuck here for at least another ten to fifteen minutes. "So...you here to see any particular artist?" he asked, shoving his hands in his pockets awkwardly.

She'd walked along with the raven haired man as he confirmed he'd go through with his offer, her eyes casually eyeing the fellow up and down as Valeria studied him. He didn't look old, perhaps somewhere close to her own range? It would make sense, after all that seemed to be the main target audience if one looked at the slowly forming crowds.

At least he didn't just try to brush off the whole thing, I guess...

A part of the blonde supposed she could cut the man a little bit of slack given his proactiveness to actually making things right, a rarity in the world as far as Valeria was aware, and soon enough they reached the ice cream truck... except now it sported a long line that hadn't been there earlier when the blonde had visited.

"Maldita sea..."

The words were lowly grumbled in a quiet breath as Valeria let out an exasperated sigh, an eyeroll accompanying the statement before she got in line besides her unexpected companion. Considering the heat was beginning to rise it made sense that more attendees had decided to go for the cool treats, and she really wanted that ice cream back...

"Mmmm...? Oh yeah, I was hoping to catch Lindsey and Porter too if I get lucky." Luis Fonsi and his Despacitwo hit were cool too, though for those Valeria didn't felt a pressing need to be in the crowd per se... after all the music would carry across the park so long as she was close enough. "Maybe Imagine Dragons too... what about you?"

With the sun high in the sky, and choosing to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt in the middle of summer Ari was fucking dying. No input from his new 'friend' required, the man was sweating buckets. Thank god he hadn't dropped his lemonade when he'd bumped into the blonde. Though, that wasn't to say he didn't bring a ton of water with him too. Had to stay hydrated. Reaching into his bag, the man pulled out a plastic water bottle and held it out to the girl. "Need some water?" Hopefully she wouldn't think he was fucking weird, though he couldn't blame her if she did. Creeps abound at these kinda festivals. But, hopefully the fact that it was a fully sealed bottle, and he still had plenty more in his bag in case someone else (or himself) looked like they were dying from dehydration.

"Oh, I was actually just looking at Porter when I bumped into you actually," Ari said with a chuckle, feeling a bit relieved that she wasn't going to just freeze him out and make the next ten minutes an awkward hell. "Didn't know Imagine Dragons or Sterling were playing though, I wouldn't mind catching them either. Mostly, I wanna see Illenium and Porter though. Porter's Nuture album was iconic." Really showing how dated his taste in music was now, but Ari felt no shame in that. Good music was good music, no matter the era.

Chelsea R. Nexon

dEqsotA.jpg
In the crowd, a girl that looked like she may have been 15-16 due to her petite frame and youthful look wandered about. Although this "girl" was one young lady of the Nexon family.

She was not a child or even a teen for that matter and she also had the long work hours to show it. Although, those hours she had put on herself more often than not. Even now she was dressed in a strange halfway between business and casual. She removed her glasses in an attempt to feel less, "at work" but that didn't mean having fun was going to be easy for the somber Nexon.

Chelsea R. Nexon had already involved herself with the organizers here at a low level but coming to actually partake in the Fest? It was not exactly her style. Always the loner, much like how the earth only had one moon. Chelsea orbits alone and this is not a bother in the slightest.

This time however would prove to be just a bit different. Chelsea was beginning to feel some exhaustion from her chosen lifestyle and the hunt for her father had merited nothing of use so far. It felt like she was getting farther than closer with every new tidbit she could gather.

So when a totally not friend named Danielle was texting to know her location. Chelsea really had no interest in responding, but... she did anyway just cause.

Mail

Yes.
I'm coming.
Be patient.

It did not take that much longer to spot the blonde, wearing the usual type of clothes people wore to events like this. It must have been nice to be stupid and just blow one's life away on pointless activities.

No envy, obviously.

She would head over without much fanfare.

Kenji Matsumada

Kenji wasn't exactly sure why he ended up at this venue. As crowded as it was, it was the worst place for the youth to be right then, considering that he was still getting used to his prosthetic. He had to resist falling from all the bumping and shoving that was going on, and the worst part was that Satoru, the one who bought him the all-inclusive tickets was not even there.

Since he had been spending an inordinate amount of time in Terrasphere lately, he was far too tuned to Quinn's idle animation, so in a world where he had to obey actual physics and operate in his flesh and blood, the only thing he thought to do was to shove one of his hands in this pocket and walked around aimlessly as he tried getting the right angle to get the one bar necessary to ping Satoru.

At times like these, Kenji wished he had Zahaad by his side. No one could understand him better than the djinn after his own heart.

Stilll... he wondered how many of the people he bumped into were a traveler. That guessing game never failed to amuse since some things transfer back to the game, didn't they?

Of all the places Angel— or Angelique, rather —had to perform throughout the year, Summerfest was the one she looked forward to the most. The crowd was always super energized! The main downside was the pressure of following up other celebrities with triple her fanbase.

… Well, that and the fact that she was forced by her manager to parade around in the cumbersome performance outfit the entire time. She wasn’t even performing until day 6! Rather, her marketing team was hoping she’d draw lots of attention and make new fans off her lovable personality alone.

Exhausting…

…but also very effective! If the two large bodyguards following her around everywhere weren’t enough to draw attention, the excessive outfit and makeup certainly were. Every inch of her screamed famous, and she found it difficult to even navigate without getting swarmed by people asking for autographs.

Exhausting…

Angel was buckled in for a long, tiring week, trying hard not to let her mind wander to a certain game for fear of freudian slips. Maybe stuffing some sort of sweet snack in her mouth might give her an excuse to not talk for a few minutes. If she was smart, she could make it last way longer by just nibbling a giant cookie or something.

As she perused the various vendors of food for something with longevity, she paused. "No way…!" Angel clasped her hands in delight as she noticed a certain Korean pop idol speaking with… whoever that was. Pushing forward through the crowd as quickly as possible (aided considerably by the two guards), she arrived… just after she’d already run off.

"Aww, boo…!! That was Dayeon, wasn’t it? I was sooo hoping I could talk with her!" Angel lamented to… whoever this was that Dayeon had been talking with before. "Are you with her? I’d love to meet her later, if she has the time." Smacking one of her guards with the back of her hand a couple times, Angel gestured to the ice cream stand, "That looks yummy, go get me one! I like their Birthday Cake flavor best~"

A flash of pink would dart across Isaac's vision, drawing his attention away from his phone bearing a very important business memo about acquiring new talent for his agency. "Was that..." Isaac blinked.

"Miss Kane?" Victor would reply, nibbling a snack. "You would be correct Isaac."

"Whoa!"
Ikarus would exclaim. "She's so pretty! Do you know her Izzy?" The young boy would turn to Isaac, mouth covered in burger sauce.

"I know of her, and have probably met her once or twice for business." Isaac would pull out a handkerchief from his pocket and dab the young man's mouth.

"Can we go meet her! I've never met a princess before!" The two "Older" men would exchange a look.

"We can go say hi, right?" Victor would ask, his phone buzzing in his pocket. He would pull it out and look it over, sighing slightly. "Fucking North West just got pulled over for a DUI."

"God fucking damnit."
Isaac hissed.

"I'm on it, keep an eye on the tike?" Victor would pick up the phone and stalk off to make some calls. "Get me Legal and the whole ass PR team. Yeah, find out who she hit and figure out how we can make this go away."

Isaac would sigh and hold his hand out for Icarus. "Hold my hand buddy, the crowd's pretty big and I don't want you getting lost."

"Okay!"
The young redhead would grab the Billionaire's outstretched hand and they would weave through the crowd. Finally, they would approach @Sai and @Kyra Vashtana with Isaac taking point. "Pardon me ladies, but would it be possible for my cousin her to get a picture with Miss Angel? I know it's rude to bother you in public but..."

"I've never met a princess before!"
Ikarus would exclaim with a radiant smile.

Closer to the stage end of the summer festival, things were going just about as one would expect. No one was being too rowdy for the security lining the venue to deal with, and people were truly here to have a good time this year. After how crazy things had been this last few decades, it was a small paradise of forgetting the horrors of the outside world.

Yet despite the atmosphere and peace, black began to flood into the park from the edge of the stage in the form of numerous security officers in dark suits. A small amount of them seemed to be a bit more padded and could be discerned by those familiar with the concept of bodyguards as such. It wouldn't even be hard to figure that they might secretly be armed. At the center of the mass going against the grain of people who were just there to enjoy themselves, a woman was quickly barking orders. Some in English, some in Japanese, and some even in Swedish on occasion with her hand held up to the headset fixed onto her left ear.

Her attire and makeup was beyond extravagant. In fact it was more accurate to say it was... fantastical. With long black hair and eyes darkened by sunglass contact lenses, the woman already would have stood out in any smaller group of people. Her dress on the other hand bordered the realm of cosplay, pulled out of that hole by how high the quality was. It was sleek, and the patterns gently glistened in the sunlight, giving the impression that such a piece of clothing probably costed more than the headset on her ear.

After a long stream of orders being barked politely to all of her involved associates, Kaya took a nice deep breath and rubbed her temples. "This is too much. I need a drink..." Once she had muttered this simple phrase, the bodyguard to her left reached up and tapped his own earpiece as he gave directions to the rest of the security in her mob. The ants began to march and mobilize, making a moving walkway for Kaya at its center.

The drink she sought was already being ordered and put together by an insider who was at the concession stands promoting several artists, though the biggest push seemed to be an Idol named Angelique who was not only performing on day six, but was signing autographs and helping promote her own success. Or so she had thought, until she caught sight of the bright pink dress that thankfully dwarfed her own in the field of fantasticalness. There were a couple reasons Kaya was wearing such a strange outfit today, and Angelique was one of them.

Angelique was also one of the reasons Kaya's headset had been live with activity all morning, so she was admittedly not in the greatest of moods when she saw her standing around talking to some guys and not being as flashy as Ecclesia had expected of her. Not that she didn't understand the downsides of such pressure herself, but also, she had already helped Angel with that, so the least she could do was try and make Kaya's job easier as well. She gave a mere glance to her closest bodyguard with a tired expression before beginning to march all the way across the park towards her prized idol. "Adding a stop, Angelique needs a reroute."

With another command from the bodyguard, the sea of security fanned out into a completely different formation that fanned the entire stretch from where Kaya currently was, had intended to go originally, and where Angel was standing. All the while, the guards moved to keep people out of Kaya's way and prevent her from being slowed down as much as possible. Time was money, after all.

It wasn't until Kaya got much closer that she fully recognized who Angel was talking to. Some purple-haired girl, which almost looked like another idol next to Angel's own pink hair. Actually that might be something to evaluate...

But the people she actually recognized, or rather the one important person chaperoning the probably somewhat important person that she didn't fully recall who they were. Why was he talking to Angelique? He wasn't trying to steal her away from Ecclesia, was he?

The black-haired woman finally made her approach and replaced her tired expression with an amused grin before either of them could actually see her. Her team of bodyguards stayed close even as she neared, but the rest of her forces stayed spread out across the stretch of the back wall, aka Concession Heck.

"Well, now if it isn't the one and only Isaac," Kaya had slowed up a bit as she made herself known so that she could walk with more grace, "and speaking to my very own prized performer, no less! What a small and interesting world we live in." She was at least courteous enough to not rat the man out by saying his last name, but at the same time she was willing to have her own security peel for him if need be. "And here I thought she had a good reason to not be at her signing! Hahaha..."

She even gave the purple-haired girl a moment of her time as she gave her the briefest of introductions, quick and simple as though she had said it a million times before. "Kaya Ecclesia, Angelique's Marketing Commander." This amount of effort from Kaya was just a little bit strange. Usually she spoke as though she couldn't even be bothered to care if someone was stabbing her in the arm repeatedly, but here she was actually showing expression, even if it was mere politeness in some fraction. "Do any of you need anything? I have drinks on the way already. It's simply too hot to be out here with nothing to sip at, don't you agree?"

She had turned, just in time to realise that the woman she'd been speaking to just seconds ago had run off. Naomi spotted the girl moving in the distance - quickly disappearing into one of the venues before being completely out of sight. She wasn't surprised, but it still somehow hurt, knowing that she'd managed to scare off the first person she spoke with.

She slowly turned at the sound of another voice, a soft whisper of a squeak erupting from her throat. Ohgodsdon'tletitbesomeoneelsefamous...don'tletitbe...

"Holyshit. You're Angelique."

Her hands shot up to her mouth as she muttered the phrase out loud, quickly followed by another squeak as she realised what she'd just done. Her first impressions with people were definitely not up to par with what she had wanted - forget expected, this was all going as expected. She felt herself shivering, as if cold, from the entire experience. Her eyes were wide - she could feel it. From behind her hands, the words began tumbling out.

"I'm so sorry...you're famous. I'm just a nobody. And you're like. A superstar. And I'm not very good at the whole people thing. I mean I work with people, but talking to them on the outside is...I swear I'm not crazy. Or some weirdo. I just. Hi. I'm Naomi. Hi. Uhm. Did I say hi?"

She was saved, so to speak by the sudden arrival of another individual - this one having the appearance of someone important in the business world. She barely caught what he was saying - something about his nephew wanting an autograph? Wait should I be asking for an autograph too? - far too busy trying to escape the sudden situation she found herself in. She tried to quietly slink to the side, hoping not to draw attention to herself, when suddenly another voice erupted from her side.

She suddenly understood why people often said they could feel their hearts drop. Hers, she was sure, had just splattered onto the concrete ground beneath them. Her head slowly turned to take in the new comer - some individual with long black hair, and an air that bespoke being the centre of the room. The entire swath of security that moved around them didn't help dissuade the air of importance.

And for some reason, they took a moment to take in Naomi, acknowledging her presence for reasons that were beyond Naomi's understanding. She was surrounded by individuals of prestige, of importance, and the woman was taking the moment to speak to Naomi, of all things.

"Mhm...mhm...hot. Yes. Very hot."

Her eyes were wide, the description of a deer in headlights slipping through her mind as she tried to find an escape route. She had no idea what she'd done to get stuck in this sort of situation, but as the security surrounding the two highly important individuals seemed to eye Naomi, she could only think about how nice it had been to speak to just the one famous girl before. Right now, she'd give anything to go back to that. Literally anything...someone please save me.

The way the woman spoke was awkward, unlike the @Kyra Vashtana she knew. But the voice and the face definitely belong to hers, even though she stuttered like crazy. Dayeon sighed. At the very least she knew her name now. As she looked behind, she noticed something was missing. A person, actually.

Wait, the girl didn't tag along with her? Maybe she's still in front of the ice cream stand?

The girl backtracked on her path; from a distance, she could already see the purple head surrounded by a dozen people. What the hell happened in the one minute she left the ice cream stand? And she doesn't look like she's enjoying every second of it. Agoraphobia? Or an anxiety attack? She gotta step in.

"Naomi! Weren't we going to watch Luis Fonsi together?" Dayeon popped back into the crowd, grabbing Naomi's hand to pull the woman out of the crowd. "Sorry folks, but we don't want to miss the performan— WAIT, ANGELIQUE? Shouldn't you be here on Day 6?"

The pitch of her voice suddenly increased as her eye caught the glimpse of the rising star, her hands quickly going into her own tote bag like a hitman pulling out a gun, only for her to pull out Angelique's (@Sai) last album and a sharpie. "Can I get an autograph?"

If she thinks about it, this massive crowd is actually Angel's very own security team. Pulling out something from a bag quickly wouldn't be the smartest choice, but she'd been consumed with too much hype. Anyway, this sea of bodyguards isn't good for Naomi, so she put herself in front of the purple-haired woman, grabbing her hand close.

"Uh, soo, do you have any business with my friend here? Because have a performance to catch. Don't want to miss Despacitwo." She tried to excuse herself and Naomi from Angelique, the black-haired extravagant girl beside her who emanates a scary aura (@Azykia) and a long-haired man (@Alexander The Great) who looked like a big-time drug dealer with a young boy near him.

Wait, that man looked suspiciously familiar.
