"When you are older? Sure."
"Prooomisee?" Dragging the word for a bit, Bao leaned towards her sister just a lil bit, as if exaggerated body language would make her argument any more convincing.
The fact it would be a town and not a crowded city gave her little introverted heart a rest. Schools would be less populated, so would the streets not feel like human traffic overtaking the sidewalk, and perhaps she could even get to listen to western birds! If nature was any different, she had to figure it out on her free time, when she's not focusing on her studies.
"Of course I will. I can't let you all by yourself."
Pearly teeth flashed on her smile, she had to work hard to not embarass herself and break to tears for something so simple, even she could call it childish and dumb. "Jiějiě you are the best." She said, giving a quick squeeze at her sister's hand. "Just for that, I'll do the chores this time around, for real this time!" Light-hearted promise, but Yuhan knew just how much that meant: Because Bao barely did her chores in time in the first place, not when big sis could cover for her without anyone finding out.
It was taking an awful lot, mainly because of how many people had ordered before them in the first place. The wait had her wiggle her toes inside her shoes as hunger took over. "It's probably a very 'wacky' meal." She winked in tandem with her pun. Yup, very proud about that one, and just when their order came around, Bao took their drinks on both hands, if only to lessen the burden on Yu before it turns into a balancing game with their meals.
"Ah? Oh! Just a bit. Did you asked for pickles?" She chuckled. Well she wasn't sure but that's what she got out of the exchange. "Proobably not that good, but I'm getting there! I got this little pocket dictionary- I dunno who came up with the idea of a mini-book but someone's gotta fire them!" She giggled, taking the lead this time around to help them find a place to sit, which wasn't very difficult, masses of people aside. This airport was, by all means, gigantic, and it shows with their circular design when it comes to their food chains surrounding the center.
Once they sat down, Bao attacked the Cheerful Meal with equal cheerfulness, unwrapping the burger and taking a second to admire the peak of capitalism's meals, and the reason the whole world thinks they are all fat and unhealthy in the first place.
"You never tried these before, right? I know we shouldn't but..." Her eyes met Yuhan's, a gremlin's grin spread over her lips, almost like she was about to break some divine law out there, right before she took one bountiful bite onto it. "Noh uan can staph ush now!" She happily munched.
