"Of course not." Yuhan chuckled at the idea of selling her bike, something that she never even considered of. "I just mean I will try to buy a cheap car for us to travel far away whenever we need." If it was to a nearby place, a bike would be fine, but to another far away town or to NYC, it would be too much to handle.

She wouldn't put her little sis at risk just like that, after all.

"Yeah, for now, we will be using a bus for anything that is far. And taxi too, they are useful." She shrugged, pausing and waiting for Bao's reply as she pondered about it.

"So you want to try to learn how to cook and to shop? I can certainly help you with these two, Bao." Yuhan smiled at her little sister. "The studio too, and the projects... But it won't fit all in a day, no. Besides, it would be boring if I showed everything right away, wouldn't it?" She rose her eyebrow.

"Kneeeeew it!" A knowing smile grew up on her lips. "No worries jiĕjie, I first wanna get used to everything before going out that far." She nodded, and it seems Yuhan had the exact same idea given that public transport is a cheaper option for the moment.

Last she wanted is to be a heavy burden on Yu's economics!

"Mmmhm, I have no idea where to begin with food in the west, and i need to know what ingredients and brands you think are good enough too. I'll be cooking for us so I wanna give you a dish you like." And that also meant having Yu as her food tester, a very unfortuante fortunate fate! "Huh, now that you mention it, you are right though..." Bao pondered outloud. Time frames would be important, and today had a chunk torn out with her arrival. Why she wanted to try it all anyways!

"Besides, it would be boring if I showed everything right away, wouldn't it?"

"Huh! That's true."
She clasped her hands together, tilting her head in direction to her sister. "Alright! Your studio or shopping, either one i'm happy with for now. I'm sure you got something in mind for dinner tonight anyways." Or so she hoped so. It's not like Bao would jump to the kitchen right away eitherway!

"I'm not worrying, especially with a good girl like you. I'm certain you won't cause me any problem." Yuhan chuckled, ruffling Bao's hair gently once again, peering outside of the windows and watching the city going so far that soon it escaped their sights.

"Well, here the cuisine is..." She rose her eyebrow. "...Varied? I won't say that it is exactly from US, but since a lot of people from a lot of countries come here, we can have a bit of taste of everything... Probably not as genuine as we can find in their place of origin, but it will at least be similar." Yuhan said, already thinking on a handful of restaurants that were near the town enough for them to have some try.

"For ingredients. The nearby market has some fairly fresh ones. We can find what we need there, without needing to go too far away." Yuhan said with a small smile.

Bao smiled, blinking twice once a hand reached for her hairs, distracted for a second with the view that Yuhan seemingly basked on all the same.

"We are almost there ladies. Traffic is just being a pain." The man informed, which caught Bao's attention for a short lapse as this finally explained the snailpace at which they had been going for almost half of the road. "Is it usually that bad?" Bao pondered outloud, moreso to self than the driver.

"I figured! A country so popular must have a lot of cultures all smashed together. But juuust between us? I just want to try out something else than what we had at home." Bao let on, as if variety, the spice of life, was something to safekeep like a secret... But that was comedy for her! "I'm sure it will taste just fine, besides, we will never know unless we try the real deal so..." Atleast her taste buds wouldn't.

"For ingredients. The nearby market has some fairly fresh ones. We can find what we need there, without needing to go too far away."

"Aand we going to your studio now soo, I will see just how far away it is from home."
She wiggled her legs back and forth, hands against the edge of her seat

"It is alright, it is always like that at this time of the day." Yuhan said, acknowledging the driver's mention of the traffic, that was always chaotic and busy. It wasn't like that was the driver's fault anyway.

Her attention then shifted to Bao, understanding what the little girl meant perfectly. "At home I will make us a nice meal then. One that we never had at home." Ruby smiled. "My neighbors still treat me like an outsider sometimes, despite all these years. But they aren't bad people." She said, shrugging slightly.

"At least they share me some recipes, and there are some that I am sure you will like... have you ever tried a meat pie? It isn't amazing, but we don't usually have that back there." Yuhan said.

At the mention of going to the studio, Yuhan shook her head. "Not now, we will go another day." Yuhan corrected Bao, chuckling at the eagerness of her sister. "We need to bring you to home first, and get your room ready."

"Sounds like a big problem, we are going at a snail's pace!" She pointed out at the front and the traffic ahead of them. They probably could walk faster than this even!

The promise of a new recipe beyond what they had ever tasted (Or at least what she herself had ever tasted before) made sparks come out of her eyes, figuratively speaking. "Meat pie?" She repeated. "Don't worry about your neightbors, I will convince them with food. You know how people are until you give them a nice, warm, homemade meal. Plus I'm cute." She giggled, puffing a proud smile at that fact. "You never managed to resist it afterall."

Yet her request for the studio went:

"Not now, we will go another day."

Welp, that shattered her previous statement real quick, and her hopes for proving it. "Awwh" She pouted, being hit back with a chuckle from her big sis, whose logic was flawless but all the more boring compared to doing everything at once. "Fiiine. Tomorrow then!" She perked up, hands over her waist to accentuate her body language and the urgency of going out shopping

Yuhan laughed at the high self-steem of her sister. "Oh yes, you are the cutest even." Yuhan fed the ego of the small girl. "So cute I am sure you will charm every neighbor kid there is around there." She teased a bit with a squint, waiting for the traffic to finally allow them to get anywhere near their house.

It took a bit longer, but soon their cab would be reaching the destination: an apartment building, far from looking fancy, but also far from being the worst thing in the market.

Taking a step out of the car, Yuhan paid the driver, slipping some grateful words before catching her sister's luggage. "Ready to meet your new home, Bao?" Yuhan said. "Thankfully I got better at cleaning, so things aren't too messy like they used to be back then."

It wasn't an exaggeration to say that cleaning wasn't Yuhan's forte, no matter how good she is at domestic chores.
