Eastern Brisshal, this thick and lush forested area had been the first place that Remy had found himself when entering the virtual world of Terrasphere and had been his home ever since. He hadn't seen a reason to leave this starting area just yet since it provided him with everything that he needed to get the hang of how combat in this world worked. The low-level monsters in this area were easy to kill, even for a new beginning player like him so he didn't really feel like he was in too much danger while he was out exploring the area. However, what he simply couldn't get over was just how real the developers had managed to make the game, the realism was so detailed that honestly if he hadn't known better, he wouldn't have been able to tell the game world from the real world.
Remy tilted his hand back and looked up at the tall trees that surrounded him, closing his eyes he listened to the sound that the leaves made as they danced lightly in the blowing gentle wind and smiled slightly. It was exactly like it would have been out in the real world, opening his eyes once again he lifted his right hand and ran his fingers along the edges of one of the lower hanging branches and its leaves noting how they felt exactly how they would have in reality. He didn't know who created this world, but he had to admit that he was sincerely happy that they did.
Bringing his attention back down to the immediate world around him he looked around slightly to try and get his bearings. When he had gone out on today's expedition, he hadn't had a plan on where he would go and so he had just set out wandering around the forest letting his feet guide him wherever they wanted. His wandering had brought him to a small clearing, that would have been extremely peaceful if it hadn't been for the several goblins that were currently squatting over the corpse of a deer, devouring its flesh with disgustingly vile squelching sounds.
The disgusting green-skinned humanoids were a common sight in this area, it seemed almost like it had an infestation of these irritating creatures, he had only been in this world for a couple of days and had run into more of them than he would have liked. As he drew closer to the humanoids, they all lifted their heads in unison and stared at him with their unblinking yellow eyes, blood, and drool splayed across their faces. A smile spread across Remy's face as he lifted his hand and a dark swirling energy shot out from it, its arcing path caused it to sever the heads of the three goblins and send them flying while he stood there staring at the scene that unfolded, the smile never leaving his face.
As the three little humanoids lay sprawled out on the grass, their blood seeping out into an ever-enlarging pool of blood and staining the ground and grass around their corpses, Remy stood there and sighed slightly in boredom. Killing the three goblins had lifted it momentarily but it had all ended too quickly for it to have been any fun which had him trying to decide what he should do now. He supposed he could always hunt down some more goblins or some other monsters, or he could continue to explore the area and see what else was around there. Unable to come to a decision at the moment he simply shrugged his shoulders and decided to lay down on the grass, away from the pool of blood, and wait for an idea to come to him.
