Busy Bodies, Busier Markets.

The trap is a success. Some buffoon had taken hold of her priced pocket watch, their lust for treasure guided them to it for certain. Despite her complaints about it, Tock surely is a master strategist in comparison, her twin having gone as far as to sweeten the deal with engravings all over that old cog. A rarity of an item, with an exclusive design to keep it separate from it's generic brethrens. Granted, it still hurt her just a little to keep one of her precious possessions away for so long, specially one as elaborate as this one, given love by both sisters.

But the promise of a good laugh and a nice little drama swatted all that aside. To have an actor that knows not of the play promises chaos, specially when they don't know they are one in the first place. Their prey would reach heavens with their new prize and go straight down to purgatory for their sins once stolen.

The crowds upon Stokbon were plentiful, so much that people had to rub one against another to cross, as if they were part of a stadium about to watch some celebrity go live with a new album from their latest hits. The chit chattery, the practiced screams of the merchants who fought one against another in a never ending war within Endra's Square in their search for the highest profits, and the benevolent statue of the goddess that watch over the commerce happening within her cold eyes. It wasn't so difficult to steal something from someone with the right level of knack and a set of dexterous fingers. The witch's pockets, or bag, or satchel, or whatever she used to store objects, would feel a little heavier, and then a little lighter, with Tock as the thief slithering away with the prize dingling from it's chain around her hands.

She turned over a corner, just on cue for Tick to lean over against the wall and simply wait for their furious victim to come, hopefully not with a mean punch at first sight but rather an explanation, maybe some cussing if she was lucky!

Being surrounded by the crowd, it was tough for Kyanna to move, pushing her way through as she struggled to try and get to the nearest herbology store. "Excuse me, let me pass-" She squirmed past someone, frowning when feeling something weighting near her waist, albeit subtle. "H-Hey! Look at where you are-- Eh?" She blinked, noticing someone running away, with a familiar shimmering coming from an object on their hands.

Instinctively, Kyanna's hand reached for her pouch, pressing it to notice that the humble belongings she stored in it were long gone.

"Wait, stop right there!" She called, now forcing her way back, opposed to the direction of the store she wanted to reach and using a bit more brute force to speed up through the crowd, slipping a "Sorry!" every time she had to push someone out of her way.

Finally getting past the bulk of people, Kyanna speeded up, holding her hat against her head and rushing forward, trying to seek for the thief as she turned a corner.

"Come back here!" She called.

"Watch it, child!" A burly, condescending voice called for Kyanna as she begun to push past the people, a man all too caught up with himself to even acknowledge what just got the witch pent up and dashing through the many bodies of people, going up the stairs, and past the corner. Seconds earlier, a scream could be heard, which had several heads turn in said direction.

That 'same' girl Kyanna had been chasing was now on her knees, Tick's hands covering her face as she sobbed away, only to be interrupted by her voice, turning back to notice, raven hairs first and purple eyes second. Not so unlike her own, or at least the left one in that matter.

"Oh please, you need to help Tick! She stole Tick's identity!" Desperate, she wiggled forward, hands grasping Kyanna's with impecable timing. "The Impersonator, yes! She just ran away." Yes, just like that, a pinch of stress and concern, a mask of helplessness, and some oily tears byproduct of illusions set for maximum pity!

Tick pointed to the west, yet there was not a soul similar to hers, none but the masses that kept moving back and forth, the many people still going by with their lives, unaware of the dangers that lurk near them as the impersonator claims another face and runs away with it.

"Oh did she also stole your identity, oh wise and mighty Starcalled?" Archaic voice hoped to match that energy of 'greater than thou' which lander NPCs seemed to have in this game. All pompous even for a bunch of code. "May you be interested in taking a... Quest?" Tick suggested, pointing up above her head, where a golden, big exclamation mark hovers above, like the most perfect puppet quest giver NPC she is.

Kyanna clumsily halted her speed, looking at the identical girl that was on the ground, sobbing and lamenting something that made the witch blink confused. "Stole Tick's identity? Who is Tick?" She asked, puzzled at the same time she was in a hurry, being shown by her legs moving non-stop.

The sad girl's tears, however, were what made Kyanna stop her rush, with her legs slowing down as she neared the magia with a concerned expression. "Hey, hey-- Don't cry, please! We will catch the Impersonator." She said, giving the girl a gentle rub on her back, frowning as she noticed the huge '?' icon appearing on the top of her head.

What, Kyanna was sure there were no typical MMO icons popping up on NPCs, so why..?

It was confusing, but Kyanna didn't waste much time with it, trying to help the girl up by pulling her arm softly. "Here, I will help you to stand. And we will catch the one who stole Tick's identity, I promise!" She nodded. "The Impersonator must have a reason to be doing such a bad thing. We just need to find them, give them a scolding, and then they will return your identity!" Kyanna reassured.

Sniffs and sobs would melt hearts away. And also to stop fancy witches dead on their tracks. "You will help Tick?!" Tick exclaimed, right before jolting back up to her feet thanks to Kyanna's assistance, with a big QUEST MARK atop her head! because this is a MMO there must be quest marks around, and this is proof of it right now!

The repeated promises from this stranger made more 'tears' roll down her eyes. "WAAAA! Tick is so happy she can't stop crying. Tick's gonna lose all her oil like this, thank you oh Starcalled!" Puffing a handkerchief with her initials into existence, Tick started to dry her eyes and cheeks with it. "Focus, focus," She opened her eyes once again, pushing the piece of cloth back into her coat, deep breathes and long exhales later, Tick stretched a hand out to Kyanna.

"Tick's name is Tick! It's a Ticleasure to Tick you!" She exclaimed, waiting for that handshake that, as soon as her partner-in-crime complied, she would pull back a bit to de-attach her hand, leaving it hanging on the air on Kya's grasp. "A gift from Tick. A hand for a hand." She nodded, another hand pulling from within her wrist, wiggling mechanical, gloved fingers.

The golden exclamation mark atop her head became silver instead, and a loud ding! Signaled that the quest had been accepted, despite no pop-up notifications or anything to confirm, or... Any kind of log about it.

"We should ask around if anyone saw Tick running about. Tick means the Impersonator, of course, but they are disguised as Tick right now. If they get away they might ruin Tick's reputation here. And maybe yours now that they touched you." She explained, hands going into her coat that had no pockets within whatsoever to fit a jar, but she did so anyways and there was no questioning it. This specific glass jar however seemed to have runes carved all over it, inactive at the moment, and completely empty too. "This jar is a magical magia apparatus, it fills up with words. Once we have enough, we can use it to track down the impersonator, so if you find any clues shout them to me and the jar will catch them and put us on track."

Talk to people!

"Really, just talk to people. The faintest of clues should fill our jar. First we should ask directions, there are a looot of people around here, so why don't we start with that group over there? They look confused and keep staring West." -Tick Tock

Kyanna smiled, nodding eagerly at the stranger. "Of course I will help Tick!" She exclaimed firmly. If she wanted to be helped on finding her mother, why she wouldn't help someone in need as well? It was only fair to pay kindness with more kindness.

The burst of 'joyful' cry startled Kyanna, but the girl smiled warmly and rubbed the poor stranger's back in reassurance.

At the introduction, Kyanna blinked surprised. "Ooh, so you are Tick, eh? It is nice to meet you-" As she went for the handshake, the hand suddenly plucked out and Kyanna jumped. "EH?!" Her eyes widened, then squinted when noticing what had actually happened.

Kyanna laughed, looking at Tick. "I didn't expect that! But well, my name is Kyanna!" She introduced herself, resting a hand on her chest and then leaning in to see the magical jar.

"Ooh? That's a very convenient magical apparatus!" She said, impressed. "That Impersonator must be really good at escaping, if you couldn't find them yet, despite having such a powerful tool." Kyanna said, pondering deeply about it, but eventually shrugging it off and hurrying to the nearest stall merchant.

"Hello there! Did you see someone that looks exactly like this girl, but is actually a sneaky thief?" She asked.

"Of course I will help Tick!"
"Generous like a white witch!" Tick giggled. Given how nice the stereotype of 'white witches' is, this girl surely matches that despite being clad in black. Not only in words, but also with actions, Kyanna kept proving to be a trustful kind soul. Oh is that guilt she's feeling now? Of course not, just negative excitement, that's gotta be it!

Her hand-trick proved successful, the reaction taken a snapshot from her eyes, stored in her memory bank and kept there for future reference, while Kya jumped about in surprise and started to laugh, Tick gave her a wink and a flash of her teeth with a wide smile. "No one does, I'm a master trickster. But it's a pleasure to Tick you!" She replied, giving a flamboyant wave from her hand to conclude their introduction.

"That Impersonator must be really good at escaping, if you couldn't find them yet, despite having such a powerful tool."

Tick nodded, storing the jar back in her 'magic' coat. "Mhm, they are not only good, but sneaky too. You never know who is the impersonator, they got a lot of personalities. Tick's jar couldn't pick it up until now, our meeting must have triggered some magical properties into it. I didn't design it afterall, just toyed around with it." Tick lied as naturally as she breathes, but all for a good cause: To make Kyanna the star of the show. She's the player, Tick's the quest giver helpful NPC with the 'follow around' sections.

With Kyanna splitting apart to one of the stalls, Tick headed to the one adjacent to it, just to remain at eyeview and ask Mr.Blacksmith who sighed off just as soon as he noticed her... For the fourth time in the day.

"Hello Mist-"

No, I did not saw any 'Impersonators', only you running around.

"But that could be the impersonator, Tick thinks!" She protested, hands over the counter, fingers drumming impatiently at it as if that would earn her some answers. "Where did you last saw Tick. Tell me or I'll give your address to the Impersonator!" She threatened, with a shaky finger pointed back at the man, who didn't even blink, unamused, unimpressed, and with just as much energy he pointed West.

That direction, now get out of here before I call the guards on you, kid.

Yet triumphant is all Tick felt, swelling her chest with energy as she made her way back to Kyanna, who seemingly picked the shadiest lookin' merchant out there.

Like that girl? Hm, I've seen about... Four of her, yes.

The man pointed out, giving a second look back at Kyanna then at Tick, something itching at the back of his memory, something that made Kyanna all the more... Familiar, for some strange reason.

Say, haven't we met before? My eyes are special, I see more than what others usually can, and when I look at you, you look very familiar, as if it weren't the first time... Yes, we met before, but you are smaller for some reason.

Being called a 'white witch' when most of her outfit was black sure brought a chuckle out of Kyanna, that smiled at Tick, who explained further about this strange impersonator. It surely seemed like it would be a tough one to be found, but with enough work, she was sure they would manage to find the culprit for this identity thievery.

"Four of them?" Kyanna blinked surprised, perking up at the reveal and shifting to look at Tick with an impressed expression. "To think there would be so many impersonators... This will be much harder than I thought." Her lips pursed, and her gaze shifted to the man again when she listened to his questioning.

"Your eyes... Are special?" She muttered, giving the man her full attention as he spoke, mentioning someone similar to her, but taller.

"Really? The impersonator already stole my identity? And did a poor job at completely imitating me?! Where did they go? I need to find them!" She asked eagerly.

The little girl jumped into conclusions already, yet the talk of an Impersonator just went over his head entirely, a puzzled stare hidden behind his half-mask, clearing his throat a second after.

Ah, nono I don't mean the... Impersonator?

"There's two more TICKS AND TOCKS?!" Tick exclaimed as she exchanged glances with Kyanna, like they just found gold out of a sudden with what this man was spitting at them. "Impersonator or not, Tick wants to find out what's up with that!

Confused, the mention of his own eyes went over his head, a mere comment moreso than a question nowdays with how often people came to him about it. A seer they call him, despite his work fitting none of the sort.

I would doubt someone as good at that task would miss a detail. Hm, perhaps age is finally catching up to me...

Washing these thoughts away from his mind made him notice how he spaced out of the conversation, turning back to Kyanna with an apologetic half-nod.

I saw someone like her, yes. Like I said, more than one. They usually run in pairs though, do you not?

"Mmm, nope Tick thinks your mask is a bit off." Tick shook off her head, keeping calm despite basically being called out with that statement alone. But it's okay, he sees more than one, clearly Kyanna wouldn't so easily believe a stranger and would believe her instead. "Just give us some directions!"

Hmph. Well, I saw one of you rush past a corner Northwest, you might not have seen her probably, but you were nearby. If you intend to pursue, you might need more than just speed though.

Tick quickly pulled out her jar just as mentions were given. It was half full, but the essence within it, almost ectoplasmic per say, was slooowly disappearing if Kyanna were to peer deeply into it. "See? This is why Tick can't catch them. It runs out, and that's basically our cue. If it goes out, then we lost them." As simple as a matter of getting down to business. Yet despite the odds, Tick smiled warmly back at the witch and did one flamboyant gesture onwards, taking hold of the girl's hand and dashing out northwest, pushing past crowds of people, through stone alleyways and tight corridors to use as advantage, despite how nasty some looked even in plain midday. Some passerbys noticed the duo, and they all looked suspiciously so to them. A good sign that they were on the right track, only... It could be anyone at this point, and only the jar worked as their guide.

Eventually they would come to a dead end towards a wall, despite what the mystical jar's directions being straight past it. The way seemed completely blocked, yet some scratch marks across the walls seemed to indicate someone's been here recently-

And if they were to look upwards, across the roof of the building they were just behind of, a smithing shop by the sounds of hammering steel and fire, there was a woman just identical to Tick herself, peering at the pair by the corner of her vision, that quickly waltzed off from view.

Kyanna blinked surprised at the man's words for a moment, leaning in with a puzzled expression. "You didn't mean the impersonators, then who--" But her question was soon interrupted by Tick, making Kyanna a bit jumpy before turning toward the puppet and shifting her gaze back to the man.

"Hmm... In pairs... So this Impersonator is actually more than one." Kyanna crossed her arms, nodding with a frown as she tried to ponder about it. Her gaze went up to the man again as he gave directions, "Northwest, eh? Alright! Thank you very much!" She smiled, feeling her hand being tugged by the puppet, but not before she snapped her fingers to make a couple of yellow tulips appear on the hands of the man.

Her attention then shifted to the jar and to Tick, "So it is tricky to use? Well, it is expected from such a powerful artifact. Mhm, mhm... But I am Kyanna, the great witch! I will try and figure out a solution for this jar when we are done with this chase, I promise." She said, crossing her chest with her index as she rushed along with the puppet.

Getting onto the no-way-out alley, the only hint they had was high above their heads, and the sight of Tick made Kyanna squint. "Hey, you!" She tried to call the Impersonator out, but she was quick to run away, making Kyanna huff and clasping her hands together to summon her staff-that-totally-wasn't-a-flying-broom-

Hopping onto it, Kyanna patted it. "Come on, we need to hurry!"

He could sense some sort of disconnect on the way they talked to eachother. Only Starcalled could be this funny in the first place, and this open to strangers too. He wouldn't attempt to correct Kyanna, if the witch and her friend wished to go after some Impersonator, more power to them.

His smile at the pair, a quiet farewell to them, was rewarded by a set of flowers, the flowers given a gentle tug between his careful grasp before he sighed off.

Familiar, indeed.

Words kept to himself only as his head turned in direction of the running duo-

"As Tick expected, you ARE a very powerful witch! Tick would love to have extreme tea time with you later after we catch To- The Impersonator!" Tick choked for a second, coughing once she almost screwed up her own plans. "Tick promises a good reward, that's for sure." Mimicking the way Kyanna crossed a finger over her chest.

"Hm, shook, we are trapped." Tick stated the obvious, her eyes gently darting up above to get a slight peek from their corners and notice if Tock was in position, and she certainly was given Kyanna's spontaneous reaction. What she didn't calculate, however, was for the witch to have a staff-that-totally-wasn't-a-flying-broom.

Boy she's bad at math, but she is having fun while at it! The puppet jumping on the broom, one over Kyanna's waist to better support herself while the left pointed forth like a captain at her sailors!

The chase had gone through the roofs, literally so. The wind blows with a fair chill to it at these heights, and atop the building remains The Impersonator, with her hands over her waist in a most proud posture.

"Foolish Witch, and her very handsome looking friend. Your identities are now Tock's! If you wish to recover them, then Tock will give you the chance to fight her. But you have to win in the next ten seconds, or I'll get bored and leave." T-The impersonator declared, pointing a finger back at Kyanna. "You first, since you look very powerful."

"That wasn't part of the script... Where is the 'die hero!' part and the attack..."

Tick mumbled to herself before dumping a bunch of papers over the edge of the rooftop.

With her puppet friend secured, Kyanna darted off in a full-speed flight, and the chase was soon fruitful, with the Impersonator seeming to finally come to a halt when it came to the chase, and Kyanna lowered her flight height so Tick could get onto a better positioning, not wishing to risk the two of them to fall during a potential confrontation.

"I am not foolish, you are stealing people's identity, you are the foolish one! You can't even mimic Tick entirely well, you keep saying Tock instead!" Kyanna retorted, frowning and holding her broom as if it was a staff, which quickly morphed back into one.

She glanced at Tick's papers, "Wh-Where all of these came from?!" She asked, distracted for a moment, but soon snapping her attention back to the Impersonator.

"Nevermind, I will take care of you first-" Kyanna said, swinging her staff and pointing fiercely at Tock.

"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!"

With the incantation, Kyanna's staff stretched out toward the Impersonator, in the form of vines that tried to restrain her.

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" Tick's voice flies with the wind as the pair make their way up on this fancy broom. Oh boy, white witches sure are faster than cowboys and their horses!

The retorts out of the witch made The Impersonator laugh, her voice echoing strange enough. Was it magic? Well only Tick knows, because it certainly was. A means to dramatize, ones that were enhanced once the Tocksonator's hands begun to glow, a maniac's grin upon her lips as the skies darkened out of a sudden and the clouds begun to threaten a downpour out of a sudden. "Oooh, you guessed my flaw right... How cruel, to think that Tock is not the best impersonator, and yet Tock can also be...-"

The best Kyanna!

In but a blink of an eye, 'Tick' had become a carbon copy of the black witch herself!

"Oh wow, she does really look like you, Kyann-"
"Wh-Where all of these came from?!"
"From the impersonator! Don't look at Tick like that!"
She huffed, pointing out to the impersonator who had shapeshifted into Kyanna. That was what mattered right now, not their flying script pages!

"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!"
"Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!"
Tock repeated, waving her own staff back at Kyanna in the same fashion, at the same time, as if the witch were talking to a mirror, and vines of a similar fashion erupted from the ground to take hold of her limbs. Even when they struggled, Tock would be mimicking their exact movement and noises!

"H-hey, how did you cast roots on top of a roof?! That's cheating!"

"Come on Kyanna, This impersonator took my powers, Tick can't help until you defeat her!"
Cheerful words, maybe that should help her get out of this 'vine'. Joke intended.

"You can't hurt yourself, dummy! We are trapped until you let go of the spell!"

Tock groaned, or well, Kyantock, given she's morphed into her right now.

A squeak slipped Kyanna's lips when the illusory vines reached to grab her wrists, making the witch be restrained by her own magic... Except it was strange... Kyanna knew when a plant was a plant, and whatever was wrapping around her, didn't truly feel like one.

Pursing her lips, she turned to face the Impersonator.

Kyanna stared at her own mimicked shape in disbelief, puzzled while she tried to comprehend what was going on, and shaking her head in both disapproval and disbelief.

It didn't matter, the Impersonator was just as helpless as she was now.

"I don't want to defeat the Impersonator. I want to understand why she is doing it, and I want to try and stop her." Kyanna said, frowning. "Why are you doing this? I don't want to have to fight you." She insisted, trying to take a step forward, though the vines tugged her back.

"Who are actually you? Why are you trying to be someone else that aren't yourself?"

Tick stood back, the irises of her eyes closing and opening like lenses of a camera that kept record of the pair like a true film-maker, catching the moment where Kyanna spoke like a true heroine who wishes not for the death of the villain but their redemption on high quality.

Ah! Why? Why does Tock do this? Because Tock has no face of my own, no feelings, no soul. Only when Tock wear this mask can Tock truly feel something, and yours is most exquisite, madam Starcalled.

Ever so dramatic, tugging at her own set of vines just as Kyanna did the same, like they were one and the same, like truly the world had mirrored and shown two of the same, none of them could break through their bindings, but that didn't stop their lips from moving in search of a dialogue, as painstaking and heartbroken as The Impersonator's words were, hidden by visions of grandiose.

Why would Tock do this? Why of course, Tock gets to do as Tock pleases. Some faces are evil, some are good and others mischievous, and in your case they are pure of heart.

From behind Kyanna, Tick gave a scolding frown back at 'The Impersonator', who catch glimpse of it and cleared her throat.

Will you let Tock go, heroine? A face is a face, and Tock returns it when used, is that not enough? Is it a sin for Tock to be at peace when wearing a mask? And one as beautiful as this one, I can barely hold my content for it.

A finger traced over the outline of her face, Kyanna's face.

"Oh this is so good, what a drama queen you are Tock..." Tick muttered, ectastic with her sudden improvisation on the scene. The skies had begun to shift from dark and thunderous to a gentle grey tone. Dull and dead rather than raging, a soft wind blowing past their features as Tock sighed off quietly to herself and let go of all resistance against her bindings.

What say you, hero. What is it that drives you to speech rather than bloodshed? Is it pity what you feel for Tock? Is it merely a case of bringing the villain to justice? is Tock the villain, or is this world for creating such a monster as I, unworthy of a soul, of a feeling...

Kyanna struggle against the vines faintened as the Impersonator revealed everything. She couldn't feel or express anything? She didn't have a face? That was saddening, enough to make it appear on Kyanna's face, as she looked at the puppet with pursing lips.

"You can do as you please, but you can't do it at the cost of other people's happiness." She said, a bit quieter, calmer.

The vines and the Impersonator herself seemed to mimic Kyanna, which meant that indeed those vines wouldn't be released... and if Kyanna managed to free herself, wouldn't the impersonator be able to, as well?

Her cheeks grew slightly rosy at the compliment, but her expressions remained the same. "I can't just let you go, not until the idea of stealing others go away from you." Kyanna said, looking at the Impersonator intently.

"I speak instead of attacking because I can't try to hurt someone as precious as you." Kyanna said. "I don't care if you have a soul. You do have feelings, otherwise, why you would feel like stealing faces only to feel more? You are alive, destroying a life is the saddest thing that can happen!" She said, frowning while some tears prickled her eyes.

"You can have my face if you want. But don't take the faces of those that don't want to give it." Kyanna said. "If you have no soul, we can try and make one for you. I am certain we can do it." She reinforced.

They were reaching it. The big moment! The way Kyanna so carefully appealed to To- The impersonator's own desires and seeked to redeem such a corrupted soul, it had Tick at the edge of an invisible seat practically! Worth a million times to catch how these almost tearful eyes gazed upon her doppelganger's very soul with a stare as intent in saving as she is determined to put a stop to other's suffering.

Tock was left in shock, her jaw almost dropping from just listening to Kyanna as the woman groaned and shook her head as if to fight back against those feelings, only for her eyes to drop once the strength faded from the vines holding onto Kyanna's limbs, and finally setting the witch free, her own form becoming but a blur that couldn't set with one face, and instead, turned into many other faces. Many souls, many personalities, all fluctuating from these visages, before she finally concluded as she shifted back to Tick, or Tock, depending one's point of view.

"If you will help Tock gain a soul of her own... Tock trusts you, Tock wants to see it through with you at her side." Hollow, a husk of her former energy, as if finally all that power she attuned through these many faces had left the impersonator once and for all, becoming but stone-faced, if stone could cry that is, given the trails of black that dripped from within her sockets. "But will you forgive Tock for stealing your face, then?" She looked over to the both of them.

Finally her cue to get into scene, Tick made a step forward and nodded. "So long as you don't do bad things with it and promise to do as Kyanna says, then Tick will allow it! Tick's got enough soul to spare!" Tick replied, waving a finger before pointing up to the sky. "Together, we will feel the world!"

"T-Tock is so glad. Tock finally can-can be happy without feeling terrible for others."
The puppet finally broke into whimpers, dropping on her knees even as the vines held her on place.

"You did it Kyanna! You saved the Impersonator! That was some magnificient performance of yours." Tick gave her a round of applause, Tock holding back if only to continue with the farce a little longer. Of course, if she meant an actual performance or not was left to interpretation. But in Tick's head that surely had to be the word she would use.

Kyanna felt her freedom reaching herself, and a bittersweet smile crossed her lips at Tock's words and trust, making the girl feel a relief washing inside her. The Impersonator was just someone that needed help, as she expected, so it was only a matter of Kyanna to try and help her to achieve her desires, so they could all live in peace, happily forever after.

She looked at Tick, smiling faintly. "I didn't save her yet. No, she needs to save herself, I will only be helping her to do the right thing." Kyanna said, using of her freedom to hop from roof to roof, eventually nearing the Impersonator and muttering the incantation again, to free the woman from the vines, and kneeling next to her before wrapping the Impersonator in a gentle hug.

"I forgive you... And like I told you, you can use my face if you need."
Kyanna said, looking at the Impersonator and giggling. "But I'm certain you have a much, much prettier face that is truly all yours. We just need to find it and give it back to you. It is impossible for something to not have an appearance." She nodded firmly.

Tick was about to say something but not only did Kyanna begun to hop around like a rabbit, it just felt unecessary right now. Not when the reveal was yet to be done, watching the witch just go off with The Impersonator, only for things to dawn at her...

"...Tick can't feel her legs, wait for her!" Tick giggled, before finally setting off towards the roofs, leaping across through sheer magic rather than effort of her own legs, stumbling forth on her last jump but catching herself just in time, wiggling her arms as if that would help to her own balance.

Tock gave in to the hug, wrapping her arms around Kyanna, a tight squeeze and a few extra sobs later. If only she was built to actually blush and not just simulate it, she would! Unfortunately, all that got on her face was a black fluster rather than a red one, given her own blood wasn't exactly ruby coloured per say.

"Tock won't use your face, no ma'am! Tock wants you instead." She declared with a nod, pulling both of them back up to their feet with surprising strength befit of the machine she is. "Kyanna is such a charmer, she already got Tock falling in love! Tock can't believe this little gig made her find a wife!" She giggled.

"Tock NO! We talked about this already, no taking people for wives!" Tick huffed, the grumpy puppet getting right on the face of both lovebirds.
"But she's so nice and she said Tock is cute!" The twin's rebuttal got her nowhere given Tick's only reaction was to quirk up one brow. "Fineeee." She sighed in defeat.

Tick finally turned over to face Kyanna properly with a wide smile. "Tick, this is Tock, Tick's twin! Tick Tock, Tick and Tock-"
"Tock and Tick."
'The impersonator' interrupted, so natural though it's almost as if they only shared their voices and decided to mute one another on certain opportunities to talk. "Tock is quite the actress. And we loved playing with you! Here, you can have the pocket watch that we totally didn't place there on purpose back!" Tock waved a hand into her coat and pulled out exactly that same watch of early, placing it on Kyanna's hand. "A gift fit for a lover!"
"TOCK!"
"SORRY!"

The return of the hug gave a smile to Kyanna's lips, who closed her eyes and allowed herself to be the Impersonator's comfort as long as she wished. Truly, a heartfelt moment, at least until the Impersonator suddenly spoke of herself falling in love.

"Wh-"
Kyanna blinked. "Wh-What?!" She leaned away, looking at the Impersonator with a reddened face, surprised by the sudden and blatant confession-- But the mention of a gig was what returned Kyanna to the real deal of that conversation. "A little gig?" Kyanna tilted her head.

Then, Tick was referring to 'Tock' casually.

"Eh?"

And then the reveal of the twins, making Kyanna stare at both of them puzzled.

"Eh..?"

Kyanna took the watch as a gift, looking at it intently, then back at Tick and Tock with an incredulous face. "I-I am not a lover! And... Eh? Do you mean this was all... This was all a lie?!" Kyanna asked, widening her eyes and staring at mainly Tock, still surprised-- And perhaps even in denial, that such a thing happened.
