The request sounded simple enough. A young widow had received dark omens hinting towards her husband's (Jorge) untimely death and wished to find his remains to give him a proper burial. The hiccup? He had allegedly died in a collapsed mining shaft on the Doron estates; however, his body was no where to be found once the tunnel was reopened. On record, the Jorge had been reported as trapped deeper within an unrecoverable side branch during the natural disaster.
Their mission objectives were easy enough. Explore the abandoned mines and give her husband a proper burial. They had also been tasked with bringing back proof they had found Jorge. Widow Maria mentioned a silver amulet in the shape of a gondola backed by a crescent moon as proof, claiming it was her husband's family heirloom that he always kept on person. She had also reminded them to keep their excursions short as the mines one held large quantities of bloodstone, though it shouldn't be too big of an concern considering the mine had long since run dry.
Armed with this knowledge, Ru stood at the base of the quarry, just outside the mine's entrance. An awkward line of reassurance was given to his companion(s) as he'd take a deep breath. Shiver running down his spine, the Lepus turned away from the large mass off in the distance behind a what was known as Shield of Axiolus.

"We go in, bury Jorge, maybe say a little prayer, snag his amulet and get the heck out. Bada-bing, bada-boom! Nothing to it… ahah… Shall we?"
