Kaede could tell Phantom was causing an issue so with a waved free hand the undead would rush to Totetsu and away from the two before Kaede would try to pull Azykia from the panic position she saw the girl in. She tried to pick her less scary undead but it still seemed to make issues and for that she felt fairly bad but did not wish to leave the girl alone and had to keep her hound safe also so picked the better of two bad choices. The other was leave the undead with Azykia while she herself went to help the hound but that was not picked and she was glad for it.

"Sorry... I needed to keep Totetsu out of trouble but would feel bad cutting our talk short so abruptly to do such so had to summon Phantom... I assure she is more afraid of you then you are of her. That said I should have warned you I was summoning her so my apologizes Kia-chan."

Kaede would try to help the girl look at her to show she did feel bad for it, she wanted to help the girl but knowing or seeing just how much the undead scared her dug a deep scar into that plan. Kaede was a walking corpse if you thought it in such that a UI locked is in a sense dead yet also alive in the game. Worrying pointing that out would only scare the girl more she decided to not break the ice of that frozen lake just yet but focus on the matter at hand.

"How about we go find something to eat and a better place to chat rather then a slightly used battlefield?~"

Kaede would move to stand up offering a hand out to Azykia having a rough guess her magic would soon wear out leaving the girl blind again outside the magic she was emitting. Why the cruel fate befell such a innocent soul was beyond Kaede's sense of fair. One day if she ever met the gods if they did exist as this world claimed she would more then surely give them a very long lecture about being nice to the good ones.

It certainly took some consoling and some change of focus and attention for the girl in the midst of a panic attack to finally come around and realize she was even having one to begin with. Still trembling head to toe, she took one shaky breath after another. The sort of physical consolation she was receiving was one she wasn't used to in the outside world. It felt... nice. It was nice, and new, and she focused only on that as Kaede tried to explain herself.

It was hard to accept that she had freaked out so badly to begin with, Azykia would try and explain. "I-... My apologies." Her voice had a bit more of a terrified whine to it than before, slotting her tone down about an age group from the maturity it had shown previously, not that she could help that much. New body, new voice and such. "Corpses like that with flesh on them, they- I can't really... deal with them too well."

She brought a hand up to cover her reddened face, careful not to smudge her lenses as the other hand grabbed Kaede's. Just the sight felt like a dream. To hold a woman's hand, and for that woman to be this much taller than she was, it reminded her of the only good thing related to that phobia of hers.

She shook her head, not willing to get lost in fantasy anymore than she already was, and rubbed her tears with the forearm of the hand that was covering her face between doing so.

Usually she would force a smile to politely accept such a thoughtful invitation, but she went from panicking for her life, to being able to see, to panicking for her life. Her emotions were a bit worn, not to mention she was already trying to hide her face as she always did when blushing.

"Mhm. That sounds nice. Thank you..." She hoped to pull herself together once the atmosphere would allow her to relax. Maybe then she could go back to having actually thoughtful and mature conversations with Kaede-san, rather than acting like some sort of child.

A smile across her face as she would start to lead them away from the area and back towards honeyhome. One part to get a change of scenery and the other to give the items of those who had lost their lives due to a player not taking the life of Landers as anything more then toys. Part of her felt sick to her stomach knowing she was the same once, and in truth she was no different from them now. One life left, and she was trying to redeem all she had done in that window.

Moving her free hand that was not guiding the girl to her head to speak with Phantom to let the undead know the change of plans and what to do in accordance. She was to get Totetsu out of the mess it caused without killing the goblins, and bring the hound to Honeyhome. It took the undead time to reply as her speech was still hindered because Kaede never took the time anymore to work on the from scratch creation she had made. Moving focus back to Azykia as the last of the magic would fade from the glasses.

"Would you like me to recharge them for another hour or so? That way you can see a town in the game? If not you can keep wearing them until we part ways at a later time. Mostly because I want to least try and make them work longer without me having to stay near or recharge them with less then respected magic..."

Kaede spoke as she tried to focus more on guiding Azykia now that the magic was out, if she did agree for them to be recharged for a bit longer she would work to make such happen stopping them to focus on the task and not shatter the glasses by overcharging it or the like. If she wanted to just keep wearing them Kaede would chuckle, little kids liked to wear older sibling things in some anime and manga so it was heart warming to see it was true in 'real life' also.

As the magic wore off, her walking slowed down for a moment as she reached up to grab Kaede's forearm once again, just with one hand this time.

"I couldn't do that to you, Kaede-san. I don't think there's anything I find more frustrating than everybody trying to fix my problems for me, especially at the costs it often comes with."

It was difficult to get a read on how Azykia truly felt about the lenses staying in her possession regardless of the magic in them or not, for a few reasons. First and foremost was how visibly disturbed she still was even as the duo walked, though she couldn't argue against feeling more safe with Kaede being close by. Secondly and perhaps more importantly to note of the younger girl, she had already shown to be the mannerly type. It wasn't as though Azzy was innately some sort of liar, but people who speak so politely often do so for the sake of others around them, so who could say she wasn't the same way?

She didn't hand the glasses back yet, though.

"Besides, if I see Honeyhome for what it is, I'm afraid I'm going to begin improperly judging where I am and second guessing all of the counts I've made to get around every day. I'm perfectly happy with the company of your voice, though."

Kaede would move at a slower patch to match Azykia as they walked now that the girl had made her choice to stay without vision for the time. She was still worried over the girl, and even if told not to work on the glasses the the witch it would just take the spot of day naps if she had nothing else on her to do list for that day or night depending on her mood at the time. Helping people, despite self risk was sort of her thing to atone so there was no compromise simply minimize it but still have it.

"Not going to lie, I never really go into Honeyhome since the old days... The few places on the outside like the clinic or post building if Totetsu is in a bad mood that day and won't leave my side or shouldn't to avoid damage cost..."

That all said though, Kaede liked the change of pace the town had compared to her own she called home. Here she could see both newbie and generous veterans helping out, the slow introduction of more modern things the players knew to recreate or such things. Where as Ivywood was a ghost town as far as players, it was mostly just players with taboo magic that wanted to be left alone and close enough to high march to take a few hours to the training grounds they used.

"So, what shall we do while in town until the little puppy come running over and makes me have to leave the cute little sister I have found existed in this world now?~"

Kaede would move her hand again to pat the girls head as the walked. Sure she acted like an adult at times, but Kaede judged people by age not actions most of the time. If an adult was throwing a fit she would treat them like a child in that case, but a child acting like an adult was just a well behaved kid in her book. That all said Kaede would close one eye and use her magic to share sight with Phantom to ensure she was upkeeping her orders as the undead was given free will to an extent.

"Eh?" It caught her only slightly off-guard to be called yet another person's little sister. At this rate, she'd get too used to it and one day be shocked to find someone who wouldn't call her that. Not that she was complaining. Her life was devoid of genuine conversation before now, so there wasn't anything she wanted to complain about here.

"Uhmm... Hmm..." She usually didn't hum in thought like she was, but being called 'little sister' also reminded her of a side goal she had to get better at doing the whole 'acting' thing that other people were doing, so she tried to dismiss at least some of her manners in pursuit of it. "Whaaat iiiif... we go find some hairpins together?"

"I have this bow, and I think it makes me look pretty--at least, I believe it does, but I can't really tell--but my hair is really long. I've heard something like a hairpin is difficult to come across, so I'd like to get a couple."

Kaede was take aback when hairpin was brought up. The last time she had seen or looked for one was for her dormmate or childhood best friend at the time who was always talking about them as a birthday gift. She never worried much about her own hair, as long as it was clean it could do whatever it liked leading to the odd look she tended to manage IE the mix of bedhead and gloom but it was nothing she really stressed over as she wondered where they might find hairpins in the world.

"Not sure where to find that sort of thing, I know some players likely made a few and started them going around... but don't think it would be seen a cheap to get a lot of them less you wanted to spend a good few gold coins on it. While you might be my honorary little sister I don't like to spoil kids as it makes them rude or bratty.~"

Kaede mused as she moved her free hand to ruffle Azykia's hair gently and straiten it back up. She did not mind paying for one or two as a gift and sorry for the girl getting caught in the drama she had since had Kaede come sooner it would have been another story on how they met or if they even did to begin with. That said she would try to lead them towards the shop square or what she considered the best start point for the search in a small town like honeyhome. That said though she could only consider what would be the use of a pin as it posed the risk of harm to someone who could not see the clip.

"Won't a clip be harder to get into your hair without seeing it? least a ribbon it looks cute out of place, but a pin is more of a statement of becoming more of an adult and if it is not in right it makes the wrong message...? least that's how Athea explained it all the time..."

Azykia had to stop and consider Kaede's words for a bit, as usual. She had a good point. Tying her hair up wouldn't necessarily be too difficult for her given her practice, but the issue was that it would make her look further from how she was supposed to be portraying herself, not for her own sake but the sake of others at this point. Well, and her own sake, too.

"If you don't think it would look good if I pinned some of it up, then what do you think we should do? I wasn't really planning on getting it cut, but... It's getting kind of long." Indeed, she had created her character with some impressively long hair, and she had felt the consequences while trying to make her way out of a tree to get to safety earlier.

"What about braiding? Does Kaede-san know how to braid hair?" She suddenly let out a chuckle. "Maybe Kaede-san wants to get her hair braided, too." She could only imagine what Kaede would look like with braids at this point, since she had seen the woman once before. It probably wouldn't fit her style, which made it all the more amusing to consider.

"Ha, My hair has not been dressed up since I was VERY little... I just let it do it's own thing and clean it as best I can with what this world offers. but no i don't know braids that well either to help."

Kaede admitted as the walked, at this starting to steer them towards the only place she really knew around the town being a little sweets shop that also had some sour things. Call her odd, but due to being an elf she was stuck with everything at eleven and so any normal sweets started to get bitter without something sour beforehand. Humming as she walked in and almost right away got tackled by the shopkeeper. Kaede struggling to keep her footing so Azykia did not fall over with them.

"Kaede! Long time no see! I thought you had been avoid me because I talked a lot... Who is this, little kid? Wait... Could she be your daughter? I mean you get around a lot but I figured it was mostly with girls but a few times you did agree... mgnhngh"

Kaede would slam a hand over the 'woman's' mouth to stop the next few words, glad Azykia could not see the fact Kaede was pure red. She was not in any place to have a kid and sometimes people kept thinking she wanted them because she got along with kids more then others and most called her either autyede or thing akin to such. Either way Kaede would not move her hand until the woman was done with her little rambling as she sighed and let go.

"No... This is Azykia, Kia for short. We crossed paths when outside town and had to deal with a few things but now we just relaxing until Totetsu comes back with Phantom. She is a fellow player... Oh right Um Azykia this is..."

"KIA-CHAN! Pleasure to meet you, I'm Alexandra, most call me Alex though because ha-ha reasons.~ Anyways welcome to my little bakery, sorry if Kaede has been a bit much to deal with. She tends to be in her own little world and does what she wants to do and most of us got dragged around for a while. I recall this one time we had to fight a bunch of angry moon clan warriors because Kaede was caught with the priestess."

Given the subject matter at hand, Azykia really only had one course of action. It wouldn't be appropriate for her to offer any actual commentary on such a subject at this age, whatever it actually was, and indeed she had no will to. She never had an 'impure' side to her other life.

Instead, she learned the terribly wonderful skill of being able to talk sideways at people as part of her marketing background, and it was about a hundred times more enjoyable to utilize in tandem with how innocent she looked in Terrasphere. She was certain of it, her angle of approach was clear to her now.

She brought a finger to her chin and cocked her head to the left as she leaned her whole body a little bit the same direction. "Ehhh? Why is it a bad thing for Kaede-san to be friends with the moon clan priestess? I also make friends mostly with girls... And I think she'd be a great my mom, so don't feel bad."

She laughed just a bit, offering a smile of pure innocence. "If anything, I've been a lot for Kaede-san to deal with. She's super kind and caring, and patient." She blinked as she stared with her pupil-less eyes in the general direction of Alexandra's face.

"Oh 'friends' is not the best word sweetheart, it was more the relationship a mommy would have with a daddy but two mommies.~ And the priestess needed to be free of such kinds of relationships you.... Ouch, what was that for Kaede I was giving the kid friendly.... I get it!"

Alexandra was able to speak before Kaede's mind caught the words Azykia had said, opting to get the head chop mid sentence rather then before the male in a female avatar could speak and again as Kaede's mind caught on to what was already said. A sigh as the elf would move Azykia away from the human and direct her towards the seat while she pulled it out towards the middle of the area and helped the blind girl be seated.

"Keep that dirty mouth of yours to infant friendly knowing you. I came here because Azykia wanted hairpins or to braid her hair and there is only one person I know in town that can think of girly things or what worked best, or how to braid for that matter since I've woke a few times when we took quest together with my hair braided."

"Ha, ye fun times. But what sort of look you going for then little Kia-chan? Trying to impress a little boyfriend... OUCH, come on That was a fair one to make! Anyways, ignore little negative stick in the mud Kaede there, your in the hands of a true mother figure.~"

With that Alexandra would move to go get her travel beauty bag that even Kaede felt was overkill at times. Moving to ruffle Azykia's hair one more time before she would feel guilty for messing it up as she began to browse the sweets shop they had been inside of. Most of the scents remained hidden until Kaede broke the magitech seal on the glass case to check on them as the air filled with fruity sweet aroma of Parfaits and cakes while Alexandra came back with the human sized makeup box and busted it open.

Kaede walking back to add a little magic into the glasses to allow Azykia to see again to help knowing Alexandra would be far to dense to catch on the kid was blind. Inside was more hair ties, hairpins, ribbons, makeup, and the sort then an army of woman could even dent in a week of use and each mixing what they picked. Alexandra grinning like a fool as she did a quick circle around Azykia and waved at the selection while getting a brush and spray bottle to tend to the kid's hair in the meantime.

"So, anything catch your fancy, Worst case I can modify them with Magitech for property change and a little alchemy to deal with color conflicts. With what you got going already I'm thinking Sakura pink, Cannery yellow, blue koi work best... Canery is a bold pick though... maybe a less bright yellow like... deep yellow or golden brown maybe...?"

"She can't see color Alexandra and without those glasses her sight is limited to magic so I'm glad your little shop is set to not be a sun to her like I had been when we first crossed paths..."

As the shop owner kept getting swatted, Azykia found herself giggling more and more each time it happened. That's what she gets for being so improper, she supposed.

As she was guided to her seat, she began to think about what exactly she wanted out of this. She didn't get too far before another teasing statement from Alexandra prompted one last smack from Kaede, causing the young girl to bust out in laughter and have to effortfully stifle it in an attempt to remain polite. "I'll be in your care, then."

She had a pleased smile on her face all the way until Kaede made her glasses actually start working again, at which point she gave the adoptive older sister a stern look. "Didn't I already tell you I'd rather be blind than have you use yourself up on me?" She couldn't help but to sigh and be just a little bit down now, even as she was offered so many choices.

Azzy did at least have something she wanted. "For starters, if I get a braid, could we make the rest of my hair have really big waves, and then tie the sides back?"

Kaede mostly chose to ignore Azykia's protest about the use of magic on the glasses again. She made it clear how she felt on the matter and did not much care what all other thought as was her way of things on very rare things. Most times Kaede would respect people's wishes but she would rather the girl see the results and be able to ask for changes as needed or such things. That all said looking to Alexandra who was clearly thinking overtime before coming to a verdict.

"So... are we talking like a waterfall braid or a snake braid and the rest flow? Well I guess waterfall braid is the closer one, though it is subtle waves I should be able to work them in properly."

"This all sounds like gibberish to me. Ima go look for at the sour things."

Kaede would move to one of the back corners of the shop while Alexandra went to work humming something or another as it seemed to hop to different tones every few seconds while she worked. Sure she herself seemed hyper and scattered but as she worked it was clear she was directing all focus to the braid and hairdressing. Each wave done to the best she could, and the braid carefully around a yellow string to help pop the color of Azykia's hair.

After a few minutes the 'woman' would move to get a some mirrors out to give Azykia the ability to see the work she had done. It was not exactly what was asked, but it was a decent start or could work as the girl's hair was wavy and out of her face and not so much framing it just flowing down her back. if there was not opposing Alexandra would get a small spray bottle and add a light amount of glittered water that smelled of cherry blossoms to give both a shine and scent to the work as was her trademark.

As she was delicately doused in the glittered water, the girl closed her eyes as its scent filled her nose. "This... smells familiar..." She couldn't help but to recall a business trip. After all those were the only times she was ever out of the house. Then her eyes suddenly opened as the scene hit her. She could practically see it its own magical moment right in front of her. "Are there perhaps cherry blossom trees in Terrasphere somewhere? I'd love to go see- Ah-" She stopped herself and gave a bitter smile. "I guess, I'd love to indulge in the scent again sometime.

As her hair was touched up by someone who obviously knew what they were doing, she relaxed more and more as the room helped her feel less like a stern adult in a company meeting and more like a kid in a candy store, somewhat literally. "Pardon my asking, Miss Alexandra. Are you a hairdresser outside of this world? It seems to come naturally to you."
