Zelrius watched Kyra approach, he was tense, just from the expression her face. Taking a step back the foxgirl stepped in, messing with the blood of the creature. A moment of silence, and the fire-man was ready to just breathe a sigh of relief and walk away. That was, before it grossly began oozing the fluid out of its charred skin, where its melted eyes used to be, and opened mouth full of popped teeth. Jaw clenched, eyelids painfully shut tightly and Zelrius looked away quickly, trying to purge the memory that the sight of Kyra's Hemomancy eviscerating what was left of the corpse. Was that even really necessary? Before his gaze could go back to scanning Kyra, she had spoken and walked off. There was something so dark about her demeanor today. What the hell was the deal with that? There was a moment where he was afraid to say anything about it, instead looking to Alice, and hopefully Jester to see if they felt the same way he did. The two were already talking on their own, by Jester's almost-corpse.

That was far better to focus on, the man turning to head over to them and tilt his head, listening into what was being said. Just in time to see her arm pop up and back down. He placed a reassuring hand on the shoulder of the seemingly caring, if blank-slated Alice to also kneel down, an attempt to make his presence not invasive of her personal space and get a closer look at Jester. They could just have her healed here, since the Magia had proven to be a support, though who knows what that'd do about the paralysis if anything. "I got this one, if you want to heal her once I get her up." He offered a small plan to the pair, reaching a hand to grasp Jester's wrist and lean forward, in order to get her arm to be pulled around his shoulder and up.

It was clear how deep the paralysis went when he tried to stand the Dynamism-Only girl up next to him. Eventually giving up on that plan and restancing his hold. Sweeping now his left arm under her knees and right along her shoulderblades, hoisting the woman up to his chest level. "We're lucky I am taller than her, ey?" He joked, for the first time, realizing that Jester was rather tall herself, which his hold just a bit more difficult, but still manageable. "Alright Alice, ready when you are. Then, we can head back to camp. Turn this quest in." Offering the healer a cleaner shot to - at the very least - take care of the surface wounds of the woman so that she wasn't in pain during the whole carry-journey back.

Behind Alice, Kyra stepped up to the jaguar's corpse reciting something else, just before the corpse popped like a grape with a loud squelching sound, splattering Alice's back with viscera and blood. Turning around slowly, Alice stared up Kyra with a threateningly impassive look on her face. "I do hope you intend to pay for my dry cleaning."

Before things could escalate however, Zelrius knelt down beside Alice and Jester. "I can heal her, yes." Alice confirmed, standing and stepping to the side so Zelrius could pick the woman up as Kyra began to prance away. Zelrius managed to get Jester to her feet, though not without some slight difficulty. "We're lucky I am taller than her, ey?"

"Indeed," the blue haired magia said, before stepping up to the two and lifting her hand next to Jester's ear.

Snap!

The girl snapped her fingers, a soft ripple of light coming off of them. "Your ability to walk should return in a few moments. We may depart then."

She stopped, suddenly, turning mid-skip to look back at the Magia behind her. Her smile slowly faded as she looked over the individual, realising the mess she'd made. As the dawning crossed her face, her words began to stumble out, a tone of regret on her voice.

"Oh...oh no. I'm sorry! Uhm...dry cleaning! Yes! Wait, that's seriously a thing- that doesn't matter. Yes, uhm...let's...let's go get you cleaned up...I...sorry. How did that even happen?"

She glanced around, suddenly noticing for the first time the blood-explosion that surrounded the jaguar. Flashbacks of the horse incident flowed through her mind, before she pushed the memories away. Refusing to look at the beast, Kyra made her way over to the Magia girl, glancing down at the clothing, before opening up the small bag she kept on her back.

"I swear I had another set of clothes in here somewhere..."

A bit of rummaging later, Kyra pulled out a simple grey cardigan, with a draped hood, a white tank top, black leggings. Glancing up at the other with a sheepish smile, she held up the pieces, an apologetic look on her face.

"This is...all I have, but it might be a bit more comfortable than that, until we get back to camp?"

As she was made to try and stand up, she giggled just a bit at how much of a ragdoll she was, because that was something you didn't experience everyday, and boy was she getting the front row seats right now. What came after was a bit of a different story.

Once Zelrius swept her off her feet and held her in a princess carry, the magicless magician blinked a couple times rapidly while she stared up at nothing for a few seconds. Then she glanced over at the man who taught her the first true skill she was able to learn since waking up in this world, and the smile fully vanished from her face. There was so much that Jester had never been able to experience in the years following her steps into adulthood. From a justice hound to a vengeful killer, the day she died was just as much of a solo venture as her endeavors in this world had mostly been.

This man had been so kind to her. Jester wouldn't just let him run off after this. She just had to bake him a cake or something. Anything for the time and care he was putting into covering for her, especially when she was paralyzed because of her own miscalculations.

Her smile had only left her face for a split second, and she hummed in amusement as she was touched up by Doctor Alice. "I'll stumble my way back if need be! It's up to the man who's carrying me~!" She giggled once more, starting to straighten and bend one arm at a time. Man, she didn't think she cared at all about having to do more work...

But she really hoped he didn't make her walk, for two-point-six reasons.

"No need to wait for that." Zelrius responded to Alice's statement that they'd be able to depart once Jester could walk again. No way was he going to risk trying to put her down and watch her stumble. She had been heroic enough with her lack of masteries and satchel of mushroom bombs. She earned a moment to relax, and free from the embarrassment of struggling on her feet. His hold adjusted, keeping his arms from getting too stiff with the hold.

The Pyromancer was ready to head off, looking to the re-approaching Kyra who aimed to dress Alice after the dry cleaning comment. The foxgirl was always so helpful and willing it was kind of admirable. How did someone with dark abilities like hers remain so naturally positive? Once all was settled, the man looked down to the magician he was carrying. A smile spread on his face - not because he was particularly happy about anything. But because of amusement of the idea he just got. She had been taught Dynamism. Now it was time to teach Jester speed. "We'll see you two back at camp." Speaking to Kyra and Alice, setting up his own little plan.

"You ready?" A rhetorical question. He didn't wait for the answer. "Hold on tight." The man reared back like a trained runner would. One foot planted forward, the other stretched behind him, his heel lifted. "Go!" He told himself, blasting off the ball of his heel with an eruption of flame behind it, and sprinting in long, swift strides back to Camp Nisus with Jester in tow. Leaving behind him a trail of flickering spots of fire and burning blades of red grass. Gone, just like that, to turn in the quest and get ready to divy out everyone's share of this one. When they caught up.

Though, he wouldn't leave Nisus quite yet. There was catching up to do with the people he met here. These three in particular, as well as Moonsong, and Toko. Maybe look for this Askera that Brutus had mentioned before. Another day in Terra ahead - and he couldn't be more eager for it. Not until the grey, muted ceiling of his parents' house returned eventually. Something that he thought about less and less with each passing moment in this world.
