A sunny clear day, with light cloud cover. Elizabeth had returned from a trek through the woods. The beastkin was hoping to earn a bit more experience surviving in the wild, so she camped in the nearby woods, spending a few days surviving solely by herself. Thank god for real life work leave alongside a weekend.

Admittedly, she think not expect to walk into what she considered, incredibly different. While she was aware of Stokbon's cultural heights, she did not expect to see so much gold and yellow. She looked incredibly out of place, dressed in light gear and having returned from the wild recently.

Everywhere was a blinding blonde. People wore blonde wigs, the booths were all themed around the color yellow. Even event organisers were blonde. Only the colors of blue and silver broke the mass of yellow. Her ears picked up conversations among the folks walking around.

'I really love this festival!'

'Long live the Queen!'

'Does this wig make my head look big?'

Elizabeth sighed, she can't find anything regarding what's happening. The only thing she hoped now was to find an inn and a room, clean up and get on her merry way.

The whole show felt ridiculous to her, and yet here she was playing along. Granted, there weren't many options left once people begun to compliment her 'costume' and how real her hair was, as if it were fake in the first place. She may have dyed her hair outside of the game once, but she gets the chance here to be natural, dammit! why people think she's a fake blonde like their wigs are any better?!

Fiora allowed the waves of this event to take her over like an ocean, the flows guiding her to meet such charismatic individuals such as: 'The Real Queen', 'Gol & Den', and perhaps one of the most overused character of them all: The entitled blonde noble.

Not even the dogs were safe, albeit there were a few of them to be fair: not everyone got the bragging rags of a yellow furball, sandy could even fit in here. Yet despite all the insanity going around, the tea and swords both real and carved in wood, Fiora got her keen ears ready to pick up on anything. No, not the funny cat ears from her gatto barocco facemask, adorned with shiny stones and golden traces across a white surface. Her ACTUAL ears.

"Heavens be praised for the lady over there..." She gasped, a theathrical touch rather than a real sentiment, and inspired smile wide upon her lips.

"I'm aware, she looks like she's leaving though. For a beastfolk, she could really pass as The Queen with a bit of makeup and a proper dress." The taller elf commented, with a look of disappointment tangled with curiosity.

"We wouldn't get a winning chance if she came by, you know? Better keep it as a sight for sore eyes."

The whole exchange made her all the more curious and had Fiora track down their sights, emerald gaze dropping upon the beastfolk they were fawning over, only her eyes had to rise a bit higher than she predicted, in awe at that fact alone, and almost a pinch of jealousy. She knew the height slider had a limit, and this person totally went for the max ever allowed or cheated her way to get an extra inch or so.

With a plan in-between gloved hands, Fiora made an unconspicious approach across the crowds, using them as cover as if an assassin she were, preparing herself to reach out for her target's neck from behind, and then...

"Fuck." She muttered under her breath as she stretched her hand up only to find herself a cut too short. For the first time in Terrasphere, she had to get to the tip of her toes just to get enough height to flick one of Elizabeth's ears to catch up her attention.

"Well hello there lady knight. Bet you are shocked to see this whole circus too eh?" She opened up with the icebreaker with a curious, warm smile to match. "Funny event..." Her words trailed off, a hand reaching up to stroke her own chin as she gave a glance back to the beastfolk, only now giving herself the full liberty of eyeing her up and down, biting her tongue awkwardly. Don't ask, she thought.

Don't ask!

"Okay seriously how are you so tall, is this a mastery or something? I thought -I- was tall, and then you show up and make me feel like a shortie."

Elizabeth continued through the crowd. She begun to feel rather uncomfortable. It was a feeling she was very familiar with. Outside the game, she was a much more sexually attractive individual. She was tall and had curves in all the right places. The beastkin did not work an office job either, was she was out and about, driving to places to check on animals in her area for house visits.

Every single patient had their eyes staring in a place she was both proud to have and embarrassed of owning it too. It was nice to have them, but at the same time they drew a lot of stares, often looking up due to her height. Tall, blonde and curvy. A recipe for beauty some of her lesbian friends have said.

So when she got to play this game, she did not max out the chest slider. Sure, she still gave herself a substantial amount, but it was the size that felt comfortable without having people put their prying eyes on her and use their imagination to undress her body. This feeling had to return when she came into Stokbon.

Her momentary distraction allowed Fiora to swear under her breath and touch her tall, blonde equine ears. A quick flick, a freezing up and a swift turn around, her large tail of sleek golden horse hair brushing across her ear flicker. Elizabeth stared down, blinking.

Another blonde, however from the looks of it, all natural and a player. Unlike the horse girl, she seemed more well prepared to be in a town festival. Elizabeth had a blush across her face, did the person before her have to give her body such an intense look. It wasn't jealously, more, curiosity? Elizabeth could barely ask before Fiora blurted out the obvious.

"I just used my normal height," Elizabeth answered with a long pause to process what she just heard. It was the truth, she dragged the option till it gave her the height she had. She was aware of basically towering over everyone, but she had never been asked directly how she got her height.

"And yes... This is an odd event... Everyone is blonde or in blonde wigs... And-" Elizabeth was cut off by some NPC slamming a brochure onto them and walking off spouting whatever.

Welcome to the Queen D'vangelline Blonde Appreciation Day! This festival was created to commemorate Her Majesty and her beautiful golden locks! Feel free to try out the community booths to entertain yourselves between spectacle events!

The equine woman looked at Fiora then back at the brochure.

The Real Queen competition lets us see who can be the best Queen impersonator! Come sign up and see if you have Her Blondest's royaltyness, knightlyness and blondeness!

"Um... Maybe it's best I leave... I'm not dressed for a party," Elizabeth was dressed practically in survival gear. If anyone signed her up for the 'Real Queen' competition there is no way she would match the royaltyness and knightlyness and blondness requirements.

One equine tail slap later, "Your..- Wait, you are THIS tall out of the game?" Disbelief shared once again as she eyed her up and down with not a pinch of shame in how that could come out as. Just then did the tall horse lady share some insight on what felt obvious, cut off by a Lander who straight up slapped them both with a brochure. "Dude, you already gave me one of these..." She mumbled to herself, and the funny man turned back to laugh at her in the most sophisticated, blonde way possible.

Still, she packed herself close to Elizabeth as they both begun to read it together, all fun and games until the threat to be left alone in this deranged clinically ill fest Event. Quick thinking took over her, and Fiora snatched the pamphlet, turning it into a little crumpled ball ready to be dumped into a bin. "No need to, we can get you into one of the dress-up booths around here." She winked, overwhelming confidence took a hold of her, and without a second thought she went after Elizabeth's left wrist, avoiding the oh so cursed handholding while still being able to drag her off into the event. "You totally look like Queen Whatever from here, and I heard there is a big reward for the winner anyways."

The ceaseless pursuit for the supposed booths ended up once Fiora found sights on a relatively empty one with one table and a stack of papers next to a list of participants. It didn't have much from within save for a sole carpet on the inside. Opportunity formed a glitter within her eyes, as she just hastely dragged her newfound friend past the table and closed the curtains with an arcane brooch to held them on place.

"Alright! private enough. So, ya' got a name, or should I ask around who the queen is?" Arming herself of charisma in a vain attempt to keep her around for longer, attention set upon the empty spaces of the little booth that a flicker of her wrist filled up with arcane furniture, not so unlike a dressing room from those cliche movies with an overused cast. Only more blue and shiny, obviously, with a mirror and a chair and flashy little lights hanging from above to keep the room well lit in shades of ocean-blue.

"I know this sounds ridiculous, but hey. This might be a one-time event, we can't leave it go to waste. I bet with us two teaming up we can blast away all these fakers with you performing. I'll even do it for free."

"Queen D'vangelline?" Elizabeth spoke before finding herself getting dragged away through the crowds of blond hair. Who knows how many blond haired people or people in blond wigs they managed to trudge right through before finally ending up inside a private dress up booth. The beastkin can't help but feel a little panicked. A blonde stranger had after all just dragged her into a small booth and pulled out an entire dressing room from magic.

"Um... Well I'm Elizabeth, and the Queen of the Falderen region is Queen D'vangelline," Elizabeth answered, still unsure of what to make of this sudden gusto from her fellow blonde lady knight. She was not even sure if they'll even, as Fiora had put it, "blast away all these fakers". However, maybe Fiora was caught up in the festive spirit.

"There is a small problem... I just came back from camp, I'll dirty any clothes you put on me, I smell and I'm sweaty and I don't think it's right for me to wear something without cleaning up first," Elizabeth admitted to the blonde fae and she was right. How can they stand a chance at winning if the Queen looks like she had just finished going through a pig sty or the sewers of New York City? If they wanted a chance to win, they must get Elizabeth in queenly levels of hygiene first.

"That one! yeah." Pearly smile and all, trying to keep it like this wasn't the first time she heard the name ever, in-between her task of driving Elizabeth like a blonde car all the way to this little booth she had to add some style into with the nicest arcano-furniture that could be cheaply afforded at the sole cost of some energy!

With Elizabeth finally introducing herself as... Elizabeth, and with some privacy granted to the duo, she finally got her head around listening to her fellow blonde trapped on this event. Wasn't it infectious? She just did what the rest did to her: pull someone else into it! "Cool. I'm Fiora, and honestly? It's the first time I ever heard of the queen or stuff like that, but to be honest I was bummed no one around here made a lick of sense, sooo... I dragged you in." She shrugged off, the truth finally rolling out of her lips but she hoped it wouldn't be so late as to mend things up.

Ely's own little problem caught her attention and had her close the distance all of a sudden to give her a better look, only then did the smell hit her, forcing her to recoil and cringe, too close to being painful even. The amount of perfume going around these so called 'blondes' out there clouded her judgement, but now?

"Jezz you are right, you smell like crap." She could understand the sweat, specially after jogging around Terrasphere herself, but that odor... Did she just go and rolled on mud and dirt or something? "Alright you win, but I doubt we got showers anywhere around here though, what do you suggest even?" That on itself had her troubled. Taking a bath often meant lakes or something of the sort, but couldn't they just go somewhere strictly for that? It would do well to cool off and get on a nice hot sauna, but the existence of these eluded her knowledge.

Ely would retort, but something told her there was no point in trying to refute. She definitely stinks, which made it all the more surprising when she remembered how many people did approach her. Service was truly something else in Terrasphere it seems. That or it was the desperate nature to get more people to be into the event. Elizabeth was not sure anymore at this point. When NPCs acted like people, how could she be surprised.

"You are using Arcanamancy no? Why not conjure a bath? I can try to fetch water for it if the bath doesn't manage to get running water," Elizabeth suggested. To her, that seems like the most simple solution. It meant they did not need to run to a bathhouse and delay their dress up and losing this empty booth to some other pair of blondes. Plus, Fiora had shown to be able to conjure all these items, so perhaps a bath wouldn't be too farfetched.

Regardless of what happens, Elizabeth would drop her things and drop her layers. She needed to loosen up what she was carrying on her body. Gone away was the cape and armor, now revealing the sleeveless top she wore. Her muscles flexed as she moved her arms, lean and toned, showcasing the beauty of a workout. There was even the glisten of sweat.

And suddently she felt like the most stupid bitch on the entire festival itself once the most obvious and logical solution came out from the giantess herself- Just use arcanamancy, girl.

Fiora blushed for a second, chuckling away the embarassment from a superficial level. "Right right, ya' are pretty smart and I eat concrete for breakfast clearly." She replied, her hands weaving a single strand of glowy, blue thread. A few twirls and twists begun to multiply them until both hands expanded outwards to increase the density of the magic itself into an orb she shot off to the ground. The orb alone begun to take a shape far more familiar to that of an actual bathtub, if one dropped a paint of neon-skyblue over it. The final touch was to make it far more 'solid' as opposed to the transparent props all around, just to give an extra bit of privacy to Elizabeth.

"Nice." She merely muttered to herself once a moment of wisdom drapped her features on a sage-like expression, giving a clear look at Elizabeth's form, specifically to toned muscles and powerful biceps alike, the woman was built like a tank and had the stature of one. "Lookin' pretty strong sis, bet no one's expecting the queen to look like a wall of bricks, but I dig it." Fiora nodded with clear approval "Although I don't think I can make water, that's more like, hydromancy stuff, so uh instead of stripping down why don't you go out and get us some water? Can't leave the tent or else all this will puff into nothing." And it already took quite a toll to constantly hold so many creations, some had to go even just to sustain the bathtub alone!

A wall of bricks? I dig it? Elizabeth was not what the kids call "fly" enough to understand such lingo. She lived in the countryside for most of her life, the speak of city kids sound so weird and foreign to her. English isn't even her first language. Elizabeth can't help but be a little confused, but she got the general gist because of the positive tone she hears from Fiora. Elizabeth just quietly nods, and went to fetch water.

Once all that was done, Elizabeth dried herself up and got into casual clothes, the fresh scent of a clean body, the slight damp shirts and drying hair gave the once dignified looking blonde a more "I just woke up" look. Elizabeth had also dumped away the water, so the clean up was not as painful to do and Fiora did not have to continue maintaining the tub.

"You have to forgive me, I'm not the most... versed in fashion," Especially in real life. It was tough finding clothes that fit her and looked good at the same time. She eventually gave up and simply used the men's section to pick out plain colored clothing. To be, girly, as Elizabeth believed, was almost foreign to her. "So... I'll leave it to you to... Give me a glow up?" Was that the right way to use that phrase?

While she gave Elizabeth her fair share of privacy and left her to her own shenanigans for a little bit, Fiora returned minutes after carrying three literal jars with her. Wide, if not small in size overrall, and each of them chalked with powder all around it's edges aswell as inside, with a brush on each. With the water dumped and the frustratingly ardous task of keeping up that bathtub gone, Fiora focused on a small table with a mirror and a comfy chair to tag along, not so different to 90s movies for a super star to check out themselves, which she urged Elizabeth to take a seat.

"It's chill. My mom taught me long ago how to do all this sort of stuff, but I'm just not the kind of girl to wear makeup, y'know?" She pointed it out, a little smile to add into the conversation as she started her work with these... powders? Powders, yup, the basics of makeup felt the same no matter the time period, if only these were far simpler in application and effectiveness than the millions of products they could juggle in the real world. "So where are you from? Because you speakin' super weird to me, who says 'glow up' unironically even?" She teased, breaking into a short laughter moments after.

With one eye closed and her tongue lolled out, like an artist pouring all concentration possible on her art, that being the empty canvas from Ely's boring face, which slowly started to look far more 'noblesque' by Terrasphere standards, or so she hoped, couse she's putting a lot of effort into it!

Elizabeth sat obediently as she glanced at the set up. It felt sort of like a scene from a movie where the gloomy looking girl is sat down by the fashionista and given a makeover and in a Cinderella moment becomes the most beautiful girl on campus. Elizabeth was confident with her looks however, so she felt like she did not really need the makeup.

"My mother did not really use makeup, there was no point to it she told me beyond social gatherings, and even then she preferred casual and informal meetups," Elizabeth gave her take as the rather bewildered beastkin is worked on like a sculptor with his marble. Whenever there was a break, Elizabeth would give her answer.

"I um... Not from a city," Elizabeth answered before laughing awkwardly along with Fiora. Usually, the beastkin would craft a personality around whoever she was having a conversation with. While she was doing the clueless country girl, a big weakness for her is perhaps someone who is just like Fiora. No filter, no holding punches around strangers. An all out attack compared to a block and counter. "I don't even know what glow up even means." Elizabeth laughs less awkwardly after that.

Maintaining her stoic and stillness, Elizabeth's face is slowly transformed from a plain beauty to a regal and honestly startling handsome girl appearance. The kind that would make a girl fall in love with another girl with those sharp piercing eyes pronounced thanks to makeup. Elizabeth can't help but admire her appearance a bit.

"I'm... quite shocked," Elizabeth managed to utter as she made facial poses before the mirror, ranging from heroic to sultry.

Laying down the brush, Fiora walked to the opposite side of hers just to focus on the left eye a little more. Nothing wrong with being careful when it came to eyeliner. "Your mom's pretty smart. Honestly? I'm on the same boat. Like I said, I ain't that kind of girl, and makeup is just like wearing a mask y'know? Hiding your real face behind products and shit like that." She explained, her eyes clearly far more interested on meticulous lady work, and how her voice trailed off at times. Yet how could she not? She had to make sure Elizabeth would be a total winner tonight!

"Rural girl eh? My favourite, really. I met a chick on Linvilla Orchards once. Long ago honestly, back then I was super pissed off because I hated the idea of leaving home to go to fuck-off-nowhere to pick up fruits." She still kinda is, but that's nothing Elizabeth needs to know. "This girl though? Never met someone like her again. Typical ginger with freckles. Really pretty, but she wasn't into technology whatsoever so I never got to speak with her again. No time to visit her anyways." She shrugged it off, the usual. People come and go in her life, not many stay but they leave nice memories at least.

Then she brought the 'glow up' thing again and she had to laugh along this time. "If you ever hear someone say 'glow up' unironically, punch 'em for me. Or just ignore anything they say, they probably didn't finish high school." Fiora smirked, stepping back only to give one last look at the beastfolk, and to let her check herself out on the mirror. "What ya' think? Makeup's pretty handy, right?"

Her voice turned a tad more serious for a second, an amicable smile to counter it on spot "It just enhances what's already good. That's all. Won't make the ugly pretty, but it will make the pretty even prettier. At least until you take a shower and get all that stuff off- Oh, but a queen needs a dress, right?" She tapped at her forehead a few times, and everything but the chair and the mirror vanished from sight as every ounce of the arcane begun to pour through her hands, the glow alone made her the center of all illumination on their little tent, and soon the threads begun to spread across Elizabeth, like constellations themselves with many links for each 'star' to form a geometrical shape of a dress, and then sparks begun to drop all across that two-dimensional shape as it turned into a three dimensional one, geometry was given volume, shape, mass. Concluding into One beautiful piece of a dress that sat comfortably across Elizabeth's body, right on top of her clothes

"It should last for a few hours, but man am I gonna end up tired, so let's remember we are on a clock over here, yeah? That will be all the energy I can spare before I drop like meat on the floor."

With the dress on, Elizabeth posed again, admiring herself in the mirror. While it was not exactly her, Elizabeth can't help but feel a little shy about the whole thing. For a long time she never really bothered to pretty herself up like this. Even school gatherings were more casual in nature and nothing to brag about. Fancy dresses were just never in her taste. To see herself in one was fascinating and shocking at the same time. A red blush grew across her face as she looks at her pretty self.

"Ah, like in the tale of Aschenputtel," Elizabeth recalls the story of a girl in ash who was given the chance to wear a pretty dress, even for only a few hours. The only thing left was a brilliant golden slipper. The rest of the story she remembered was rather grim. Something about mutilating feet and attempted murder. Regardless, it was a moment of a lifetime and Elizabeth knew it was best to seize the moment now.

"Then let us win a competition," Elizabeth paused, thinking how a queen would say it. "Let us go my tailor prince." Elizabeth extends a hand towards Fiora, smiling with a radiant confidence.
