demon lord yuliya the unstoppable.

Another great adventure was at the edge of her grasp, the fox standing square-shouldered towards a building. The picture depicted on the sign was that of an inn of sorts, mixed with a tavern? Yuliya only knew that it would hold Earth's mightiest adventurer's; after all the place literally looked super creepy, as if to say 'Hey, warrior. Come in for a well-deserved break. The letters mashed against the wall above the doorframe spelled out 'Soldier's Bed N' Brekfast'. Simple enough to call out to Yuliya and hunt out minions for her super secret army that would conquer the world!

Yuliya placed two small hands on the doorhandle, pulling. The door wouldn't budge. She began to heave and ho, putting all strength in her upper muscles. Still, nothing would work. The fox positioned her body in a way that let her put her feet on the wall beside the door. Her feet pushing as her hands pulled. Still nothing. Yuliya dropped down from the wall, giving out a huff of breath. "Yuliya is stumped."

Puffing her cheeks she began to look around, her eyes falling on a small sign to the left of the door. 'Push'. Acting as if nothing had happened, she pushed the door, her eyes lighting up as it opened. "HA! Easy Peasy!" Her small figure made it's way through the room as she scanned for scary-looking people to recruit.

The demon's eyes falling on a tall, muscular man. Marking her target, Yuliya went straight up to him. She placed her hands on the surface of the table, "Mortal! I am DEMON LORD YULIYA THE UNSTOPPABLE. You are very lucky to be noticed by Yuliya. Bow down before me and I might consider making you my minion! MWAHAHAHA!" Her introduction was met with silence, as all of the eyes at the table fell on her. Then one buy one they began to erupt into laughter, the man she had spoken to shooed her away, but Yuliya was not one to be told what to do!

"You will regret laughing and pushing Yuliya aside! I give you one last chance, submit to me or be met with eternal suffering!"

"Honeyhome to Stokbon. Yeah, I can do that," Yu said to the Lander, his arms crossed across his body. "Half pay now, the other half when we get there. Sound fair?"

"Fair."

It was a simple enough job, which was pretty much all that Yu could expect given that he was not a member of the Adventurer's Guild. Provide protection for a merchant as he traveled to Honeyhome against bandits, thieves and any other dangers they might come across.

"You will regret laughing and pushing Yuliya aside! I give you one last chance, submit to me or be met with eternal suffering!" a loud, high-pitched voice shouted in the tavern, drawing both Yu and the Lander's attention. Both squinted in confusion at the little girl harassing the various adventurer's in the tavern.

"Uh, hey, girl, where are your parents?" Yu asked, confused how in the hell a young girl wandered into the tavern. Not to mention whatever nonsense she was spouting.

DEMON LORD YULIYA THE UNSTOPPABLE!

The pestering that the little fox child made was interrupted by a calm and somewhat deeper voice. The appearance of another caused the demon child's eyes to befall on him. "Where are yours, shortie?" She huffed, puffing her cheeks and stomping her foot. "You dareth interrupt one as great as Yuliya. You must be willing to offer yourself as a sacrifice. What is your name, minion one?" Yuliya's eyes flickered with a tint as her lips curled into a smile. One of her canines teetering out of her lip, as she struck her hands back on her hips.

Yuliya made no more motion towards the people she had been harassing before, instead she was focused entirely on the new appearance. He was short, but also looked MEGA cool. Like he was mysterious but super chill, especially with that resting [nya] face. Not having much else to go off of, she could only make the assumption that this guy liked to not be bothered. He seemed almost defensive over her behavior, as if there was no reason for her to be in the game. Which mildly irritated her, why would the demon lord not be on this game? She had to rule over the real world and the gaming world! It was her destiny!!! "The Demon Lord needs no parents!" Her last comment would come before Yugam had a chance to reply to her questions previously, meaning anything Yugam said would follow shortly thereafter.

'Did...did she just call me me 'shortie'?' Yu thought to himself as he looked down at the pint-sized girl.

"You dareth interrupt one as great as Yuliya. You must be willing to offer yourself as a sacrifice. What is your name, minion one?"

"Minion one?"

"The Demon Lord needs no parents!"

The partially confused look on Yu's face began to mix with absolute concern as he struggled to comprehend what in the hell was going on here. Who was this girl? Was she some weird 32 year old dude living in his parent's basement living out whatever weird fantasies he had?...No, this was too weird, even for a NEET. She had to be a kid or something.

"My name's Yu," the man said, uncrossing his arms and stuffing his hands into his pocket.

"Hey," the Lander then interrupted, "we need to leave soon, unless you fancy travelling in the dead of night."

"Hmm? Oh yeah. Go on, I'll be there in a second," Yu said to his client before turning his gaze to the girl with a curious look on his face. He chewed on the inside of his cheek as he thought for a moment. He wasn't sure it was a good idea to leave the girl here alone to do...whatever it was she was doing. Sure it was a game, but there were real consequences to playing. And frankly she seemed a little...maybe gullible wasn't the right word, but it seemed like a bad idea to leave the girl on her own. Was having her travel with him on potentially bandit infested roads guarding a caravan a better choice? Who the fuck knew, but it wasn't like Yu thought everything through when he picked up this game in the first place.

"Tell you what...Demon Lord Yuliya...have you ever heard of a loyalty quest? If you want someone to follow you, you gotta do a quest for them first. So how about this: You come with me and help me make sure that Lander makes it to Stokbon with all of his goods, and all his appendages, and then I'll be your 'minion one'. Deal?" The man extended a hand to the girl to shake, if she should accept the deal.
