Time to rest up to best up!

"Well, this spar did help me iron out some kinks in my skillset, sooo..."

Ayna, now more cheerful and less agitated, pushed herself off the ground beside @Chrys and back to her feet, dusting herself off, mostly her butt and lower extremities. Sitting on the ground is not hygienic, and Ayna didn't want to bring home all that dirt, even though Chrys' attacks had been mostly throwing dirt at her like a complete <dolphin sounds>. Bringing home the man you beat down was a little weird, too, sure, but Ayna didn't want his blood on her hands. Lyrwick wasn't a safe place, and a lost man could very well be a dead man by dawn. Besides, he's not bad looking.

"My place isn't the greatest, but it's safe. Here in Lyrwick, safe's what you want. So you coming or what? Not gonna ask again."

Ayna did not even wait for him to respond. Instead, she sheathed Calamity's Light against her back and began walking to her place, assuming Chrys would either follow or disappear. Either way, she needed the rest and it would be his own choice whether he survived the night. Arriving at her supposed place, anyone with eyes could see that it resembled a dilapidated tavern, with its sign barely hanging on. Ayna did not mind it, as it was a safe enough place to rest herself. Of course, they could just log out but where would be the fun in that?

Exit, stage...18+?

Chrys could only let out a sigh in confusion. @Ayna Nietzsche was definitely an enigma in herself, but he did need the rest and the safety. Besides, he was nothing if not curious. Following her was his only choice. At least it was his preferred one, and as she walked off, he found his feet already dragging the rest of him towards her direction, following her lead, even before his own consciousness could make itself up, having only delayed the inevitable.

Their journey to her place was a quiet one, with Chrys keeping to himself, choosing to trek silently, a combination of having been embarrassed in their fight and of being suspicious of what came next. Maybe Ayna was just playing the black widow, further luring him into a false sense of security before she would pounce on him and end his adventuring career even before it could begin? Doesn't seem like someone who'd delay the inevitable and play with her food, though. If anything, she'd just force the entire plate down her throat if it meant efficiency.

"This is your place? It doesn't look...safe."

And yet when she went in, he still followed her. Logging out would have been the smartest move, yes, but again, his curiosity betrayed him. Or did it? Chrys was no longer of the mind to go against Ayna. Whatever she wanted to do next, he would at least consider it, and if it pleases him, if it gains him something, anything, then he would indulge her. After all, Chrys lives by the words, "what's in it for me?" He would die by those words, too.

Fade to black.

"You're kidding me, right? Safe? In Lyrwick?"

Ayna started laughing at the thought, so much so that she almost teared up at how hilarious she thought @Chrys was being. The man was lost and he did not have a roof over his head. The sun was also about to go down (if it hadn't already), and his other option was just to log out. But he wouldn't do that. Ayna knew that as a fact, as she ran her hand down his chest, eyes on his, before she pulled him close, only to push him inside the tavern.

"Just get in already, tiger. I know you're as curious as I am."

Ayna had been very interested in finding out more intimate aspects of the game, but only now had she found someone who could survive her, someone who could last as long as her, someone who could potentially keep up with her wild side. She had tested others before, often unintentionally, but so far, everyone else had fallen to her lightning and her spear. Chrys did, too, but not that quickly. She hoped it would be the same outside of battle. Only one way to find out.
