She had remained apprehensive regarding the overall group decision as they were all called back towards the sleigh-train, the girl’s face akin to an open book as it displayed the concern she felt. Crimson eyes glanced over to the blue-haired man who had also expressed similar worries, a faint smile accompanied by a soft shrug given to
@Erick before the elf clambered aboard and took her seat beside
@Yugam.
The boisterous words of Zeus reached far and wide for most of them to hear, and while Lúthien knew very little of the seasoned elder of the League his words were still inspiring.
Yeah, we’re probably just overthinking it… things will be fine. Perhaps it was his seemingly endless energy that brought comfort, or the kind smile the older man always seemed to sport on his face—one that resurfaced old memories of happier times in the snow back in the real world for the ranger.
"Ready? 3. 2. 1. TOH TOH TOH!"
"TOH TOH TOH!"
Her voice quickly joined the cries of others as the sleigh-train ventured forth, a light-hearted laughter escaping the girl shortly after as her gaze shifted over to the hunter.
"Seems we’ll be some of the first to lay eyes on the Bonegrave~" Her hand instinctively sought out his own, interlacing their fingers loosely before she gave it a gentle squeeze… the touch both grounding and reassuring as the group headed off to the unknown.
Lúthien gazed out with awe and wonder at the jagged crystalline spires that stretched out towards the turbulent clouds above, before a concerned look was given at some of the massive bones entrapped in crystals from great beasts that had once walked these lands.
"I hope none of those still remain…" It wasn’t often that she was reminded of just how tiny and insignificant they all were in the grand scheme of things… but this place was doing a good job at driving that thought home.
"Hood up and brace yourself! TOH TOH TOH!"
Her hands quickly reached for the hood of her coat as Childress' warning fell upon them, another shiver crossing the ranger as the blizzard picked up in speed and intensity.
"TOH TOH T—OAH!" She’d attempted to chorus along with the others as they had for the past few days when a sharp turn from the sleigh caused the blonde to squeak out, reaching for the side of her seat as she tried to fight the laws of physics and motion. Elven ears caught the faintest of sounds far into the distance, causing Lúthien to frown as her eyes strained them to get a better view within the blizzard…
Everything was a blur of snow and sounds after that, the cacophony of warnings and cries mingling with the sound of something massive moving through the snowy landscape and in their direction. The mix confused the ranger as it assaulted her senses, hands moving to try and block most of the noise from her ears, before her eyes fell on the massive form of Zeus as the man seemingly pulled something out of his coat. A blinding light began shrouding everyone present, causing Lúthien to squint as her hand reached towards the hunter—panic evident in her voice as she called out his name.
"YU—?!"
And then she was gone, blinked away to unknown lands shortly before the sleight train was crushed into smithereens.
