Kyanna giggled at the confirmation it looked good on her, making her rub the crystal that rested on her chest gently, until MAI pointed out the necessity of going down.

With a brief nod, Kyanna paused and waited patiently for the magia girl to undo the gravity effects upon her, making feel her weight returning, once again feeling somewhat anchored as she slowly fell back to the ground, where she flailed slightly and sighed in relief when she managed to keep her posture.

"Phew!" She sighed relieved when she found herself stabilized once again.

"This gravity thing sure can be fun." Kyanna admitted this much, summoning her staff-that-totally-didn't-look-like-a-broom before returning her gaze to MAI. "Sure, let's go-" She hopped on her broom, that fidgeted for a moment.

"Since we don't need a precise flight this time, I can go with my broom... you will want a ride or you will fly there by yourself?" Kyanna asked.

It would have been more than enough to just hop along, or to unleash her wings and actually fly, perhaps even let her body be pushed by rapid wings. All of those would have gotten her over to where they needed to be, but there was a part of MAI that just could not be silenced. And that part really wanted to know if riding on what amounted to a long stick with a bit of stuff on one end was as uncomfortable as one would imagine.

"Affirmation - This unit would not mind trying out a new method of transportation."

"Clarification - As long as it is safe and capable of supporting two individuals..."

It would probably not help either of them if the broom suddenly snapped in two mid-flight. Even if MAI could save them with her own abilities, averting the horrible fate of plummeting to one's death. Either way, she followed Kyanna and did as the witch required.

Kyanna's broom began floating, lifting her off the ground for a dozen centimeters before she turned at MAI, tilting her head in confusion at the questioning. "Of course, it can handle two individuals safely!" She reassured, tapping the back part of the broomstick and glancing forward, waiting for MAI to take a seat before adding:

"My only issue with flying with a broom right now, is that I'm not skilled enough to make precise flights, or to hover stable on a spot for too long." She admitted, "Now, hold on tight-" And as soon as MAI was ready, Kyanna took flight.

The broom darted off at a decent speed. Enough to be compared to someone going as fast as they could in a casual bicycle.

Soon, they neared the hill and Kyanna would start lowering the height of the flight until they were close enough to the ground. Kyanna then turned to look at MAI, smiling. "Alright, here should be a good place to land."

No reason to doubt what Kyanna had said. Once the chance presented itself, MAI went ahead and took a seat on the thin wooden pole, sitting sideways and looking over the witch's shoulder as they took off. Admittedly, the whole idea of someone admitting that they were not very good at flying with a broom and then flying with a broom anyway was a bit irresponsible, but the Magia was still confident that she could prevent the two of them from cracking their skulls on the ground if they somehow fell.

That said, she wasn't entirely sure as to where she should hold onto. And there was no way she could just... grab Kyanna in any meaningful way and live to tell the tale. So MAI just opted to meekly grab a piece of loose clothing from the witch's attire and hoped that she would be able to keep herself in place with just that. And she did, thankfully.

Once they arrived, the Magia nodded and simply jumped off the broom, landing on the ground below. With all the undisturbed snow around the village, it was quite the crunchy landing, each new step bringing about the sound of snow being compressed that some found oh-so-satisfying.

"Query - Does Kyanna have a vision she wishes to see envisioned with the display?"

Kyanna peeked a few times behind her back to make sure MAI wouldn't just fall off after she completely ignored the advice of holding on tight. Thankfully, nothing bad occurred, as expected of someone that literally had control over gravity.

Already on land, and being inquired about what she wanted to portray, Kyanna crossed her arms and pondered.

"I was considering something more straightforward. Just a nice and heartwarming sentence." Kyanna said, clasping her hands.

"And of course, some Christmas decoration! Maybe shooting stars because of 'starcalled', right?" She insisted, crossing her arms and pondering deeply about it.

Perhaps she was being too generic? But it was the best she could think of.

Granted, she wasn't alone, so--

"What do you think? Do you have anything in mind yourself?" Kyanna questioned, wishing to know MAI's opinion. She also had a great ability of beautifying things, so perhaps she would have another trick under her sleeve.

Simple sounded nice and probably for the best, although MAI did pause for a bit at the idea itself.

"Warning - The local Landers might not appreciate the messaging to be about the Starcalled who, in the words of some, are washing away tradition to replace it with their own."

It was a somewhat understandable reaction from the people of the land. Hell, some people reacted like that in the real world when two different ideals clashed - war on Christmas and all.

"Suggestion - Perhaps it would be best to simply wish everyone a wonderful Wintersday."

Still, the Magia didn't really have any way to help with the 'construction' of anything. Her powers were not ones focused on the creation, perhaps with the exception of Magitech, but that was something else entirely. Kyanna, on the other hand, had displayed a great deal of creativity with her nature magic on several occasions throughout today already.

Kyanna blinked surprised at the reveal, leaning in, curious about it. "The Landers think like that?" She asked, having a slightly guilty expression on her eyes. "We don't mean to wash away tradition though, we just mean to share part of the fun--" Kyanna retorted, scratching her head.

"Or at least I hope we are..." She peeked at the small town, shimmering with decorations and looking gorgeous from the perspective they were in.

But maybe they preferred for it to look as natural as possible?

With a brief sigh, Kyanna soon smiled and looked at MAI.

"It doesn't matter. You are right! Just a wish of a wonderful Wintersday is more than enough. When they start accepting it more, then we can all hug and have fun together!" Kyanna clasped her hands, beaming as she cleared her throat, forcing the growth of mushrooms across the hill, in order to create dots to eventually connect them.

And suddenly, MAI felt rather bad. Why did this seem as if she had just told an innocent and naive child that Santa wasn't real? Rather unsatisfied with such a perspective and conclusion, she shook her head.

"Negative - SOME landers might think that way. However, this unit's observations show that majority are open to new experiences and enjoy the festivities."

With that, the Magia made a few more hops to the side, where she turned around. There was no sign to adorn yet, and as she mentioned, her powers weren't exactly meant for creation... but perhaps there was still something she could do?

Bracing herself, she clenched one of her fists, then swung it wildly, and with a few sparks, threw something that was quite similar in color to the insides of Kyanna's new necklace. Small shining particles, as if distant stars, that would hang around mid-air and surrounded by colorful dust that made it seem like a faint nebula. She just had to hide her throwing hand inside of her long sleeve from now on.

'Won't last too long... but at least for today.' It was about the best she could do to pretty the area up for the witch to finish the job. Regardless of what she would do now, it was a message for a Starcalled, beckoning to the stars that brought them into this world.

"Encouragement - Please, express yourself without being held back by the possible belief of others."

Kyanna pondered for a moment, nodding at MAI's words. So it was only some, with a minority of unsatisfied Landers... That still made Kyanna wary, not wishing to make someone's day worse just because she wanted to party and spread a NOT!Christmas celebration.

"If that's the case, let's make something very pretty, this way every Lander that likes the festivities can be satisfied... And those that do not like it, can have a chance of changing their minds." She smiled, intensifying her magic to make the mushrooms shimmer as beautifully as possible, which wasn't hard when the Magia girl seemed to apply a special starry effect, that reflected on Kyanna's wide and admiring eyes.

"These are so pretty..." She said, smiling warmly and turning to MAI.

"You are right that I should express myself, but it is hard to not do Wintersday things without thinking about others-" She said, then raising a finger for emphasis.

"It is all this is about, after all!" She giggled, finishing the last details of the decoration, that would look like a shiny message from afar, wishing everyone that could read it, a wonderful Wintersday.

Realistically, you could never do anything like this without stepping on someone's toes. Thankfully, what they were doing was innocent enough that it did not really matter. And, admittedly, it did look nice. So as Kyanna was finishing up the last of the details, MAI tried to wrap her hand in a bit of a cloth she had in her inventory before hiding it in her sleeve, finally turning to face the village as they finished.

"Statement - Kyanna did a good job. This unit is sure that the people of this village will appreciate her work and enthusiasm."

Did that mean they were done? Actually, the Magia had absolutely no idea what the witch was even here for. MAI herself was around simply to move various items from one place to another and she merely joined a fellow Starcalled because they bumped into each other.

"Query - What was Kyanna's mission to begin with?"

Kyanna smiled gently to MAI, happy for her encouragement, and at the possibility of the villagers enjoying her attempt of doing something nice for them. At least, all she wanted was for people to enjoy their times in Wintersday, so anything, even a small appreciation, would be nice.

MAI's question, however, caught her attention, making Kyanna tilt her head, slightly confused as she muttered.

"My mission?" She asked, shifting to face the Magia girl.

"For most of part, right now it was just to decorate this town." She explained, tilting her head, this time to the other side. "How about yours? Are you in a mission around this town, Mai?" She wondered, still a bit curious about the other girl's inquiry, but now even more curious about what she was doing around there, especially carrying those boxes with anti-gravity spells. Perhaps a way too powerful spell to be used so domestically... Which was fun, actually.

An obvious question had an obvious answer, what a surprise. Perhaps MAI just wanted to extend the conversation as much as possible, failing to find a suitable topic? Still better than asking about the weather... which was cold. Cold enough to generate small white clouds with each simulated breath the Magia took, her internal machinery working and heating up her body enough to mimic human body temperature.

"Answer - This unit had already finished its mission. Nothing to stay here for. Boxes with decorations have been successfully and safely delivered by now."

That was all. A request in a part of the world she had not had the pleasure of visiting before, capturing her curiosity and serving as a good enough excuse to visit. As she gazed at the village, MAI closed her eyes briefly. This was probably starting to get awkward, but she had no idea what to say. Why was it always the case... why was talking to anyone always so difficult?

Kyanna looked at MAI with curiosity, tilting her head as she spoke about being finished with the mission. The silence that proceeded it was strange. It felt like the girl had nothing else to say, and yet, it didn't feel like she was done. After all, the conversation wasn't dismissed, it was just fading out into quietness.

Her eyes studied her for a moment, before she took a step closer, bumping her shoulder on MAI's shoulder before hooking an arm on hers, giggling. "If you have nothing to stay here for, that means you are free, right?" Kyanna asked, tugging her softly, as if urging for her to move forward as she took a path closer to the town, even if it was a bit far without the flight.

"You won't mind if I ask you to come with me, then, will you? Spending Wintersday with someone else is just much, much more fun!" She beamed, grinning widely.

It wasn't like her family was in the mood of having a christmas party, so she could pull out her own.

Silence wasn't a bad thing in MAI's opinion. She never quite understood why people felt the need to fill it with conversations of no substance, just for the sake of not having a quiet moment. But in a world dominated by extroverts, she did feel the awkwardness that came with such interactions, even just now...

But then, Kyanna ended it. Not necessarily by talking about the weather or how hard all of this work was... but by physical contact. It actually made the Magia jump a bit, not used to something like that. And then, a proposal. One that made the girl's heart beat faster and faster with nervousness.

"S-sure."

'Can be temporarily suppressed with strong emotion' Her explanation of her strange speech patterns quickly came back to haunt her. She was wholly not used to people wanting to spend time with her like this, the invitation being almost scarier than anything else. But there was no reason to refuse it. It was a chance to actually have some fun. Hopefully, this wouldn't end badly.
