It took him longer to get back into the game then most others, Firstly he had to wait until someone informed him it was no longer blocked, then he had to ensure all his final affairs had been in order. Morpheus, rather Alexander knew he was nearing the end if his life and he wanted one last hooray before the reaper came to bring him back to his wife and some of the others he lost along the way. That all said he relogged into the game, This time unless it was blocked again he intend to stay till his final seconds.

Sure some might say 'why not spend it with loved ones.' or 'why not enjoy a sunset over the beach' or things like that. But the sad bitter truth was Alexander knew his kids and friends had stopped caring the moment he signed his possessions and wealth to them, his grand kids rarely came to visit since life was getting busy for them, His great grand kids rarely or did not even know him, and the double great, and triple great grandkids did not even know he was still around. He had nobody to enjoy those final moments with, so he would play his games to pass the time.

With it all said, the old soul opened his other set of eyes, that of Morpheus, the elderly monk he made unable to see himself much younger then he was in real life. Hands wrapped around the old wooden club or to him cane as his beard and Kimono flew southward in the wind. The refreshing smell of Pine and outdoors a welcome thing to his bleached and cleaning heavy used to nostrils. Hand slowly wrapping the wood, to feel the warped texture to hands so used to the cold steel of his bed railing. Weary eyes drifting upwards towards the sky above watching the birds fly past, ears catching the sound of their wings and not the dolling sounds of machines or doctors wondering just how long he was going to keep fighting death off.

A slow staggered step forward, catching himself on the cane as he took another. Slow and steady he would reach down while moving a foot upward to remove his wooden sandals so he could feel the grass beneath his feet. He enjoyed how real the game was even to this moment as his back ached lightly, nothing to the sharp crippling sting he had dealt with the last year alone. Another step, foot digging with toes into the grass as a peace-filled smile crossed the old man's face. He was outside, no matter what others told him as he kept walking and tied the sandals to his belt. he would be fine if this very moment the reaper took him.

"Outdoors how this old kindle missed you, your gentle breeze and mixed feelings of scents. The sounds of the wildlife you harbor paradise and home towards. The warmth of fresh unfiltered sunlight against this crippling old skin, Your soothing song could you sing it once more for this old soul with maybe only minutes left to enjoy it one final time?"

The exultations of the dying old man did nothing to assuage Nico's penchant for pun. No, it was safe to say the situation both demanded and deserved it. When else would someone get to see a sight that could only be heralded as some sort of final season episode of an Asian drama. Clearly the moment was just as significant for the old man as it was for the onlookers who had stopped to gawk at the strange sight though, as the crowd which had gathered had climbed into the handful despite the randomness of locale.

"How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?"

Nico had stepped forward in acknowledgement, flourishing and brandishing his hands simultaneously, both in display and mockery. Really, he didn't mean to mock the man's plight, but again couldn't help poke some fun. It wasn't often an individual would play a character of an age beyond their 'prime' and that made the moment infinitely more interesting than not. The categories the vast majority of players fell into was not more than prepubescent teenager, bodybuilder, or model - himself included. There was something off about the display though; there was something far too genuine about it.

"Damn. You're not about to actually croak are you? There are all number of healers abound. Listen, if you die here you don't die in real life or anything."

He wasn't sure about that as he looked around to the onlookers for affirmation, attempting to get an idea of their answers through only facial expressions. Each individual had the same ponderous expression as he did, not sure the real answer and how to sift through rumor and grapevine alike. That gave no clear answer.

"Its still not a pleasant experience if you have pain turned on though I hear. You listening viego?"

As if to redeem himself a hand was extended to the old man, a sudden wave of guilt inspiring a rare moment of selflessness. Or so he told himself, really just not willing to be haunted by some random old guy should he have died on the spot.

Morpheus attempted to contain his anger, a vein popping across his bald head as he was called old geezer, the child did not respect the elder right from the gate and that alone was to breath life in the dying man. Left hand pulling his walking stick upward, while right gripped it near the bottom before he would swing the stick at the child with some anger in his mostly closed eyes. he was not aiming to hit them, but the tree he did it would lose bark on impact before the cane would be slammed into the grass once more before he stumbled over.

"I'm not an Old man, I am aged with Experience you fucking pasty white ass white coat black shirt wearing little fucker! Respect your elder or they won't respect you got it!"

Controlled temper, Far as Morpheus was concerned it was He only cussed twice in one sentence. Waving one hand towards the male who approached while other kept a tight grip on his cane out of habit from his real life being to frail to walk without support. This body however, was still able though he was not used to it just yet. That said though when the boy mentioned more and got a more calm reaction from the elder. His hands now both resting on the cane as he would deny the offered hand and keep walking.

"This body still got a few years in it, but the real me has maybe an hour left. Rather then die breathing into a damn rusty can in a scrub filled room I'm going to find a meadow and enjoy my final moments in the only thing this or the other world left me in the end. These eyes that watched the world, this nose that smelled the countless things, old ears that listened to the good and bad."

Moving beyond the crowd and away from the boy unless they followed. He was not here to give them a show of a dying man, he was here to enjoy his last moments in peace since people he cared about did not care to spend even the last hour with him. Over time as he walked he would set the cane down against a tree and move into a clearing with only grass a few rocks. He watched the breeze sweep across it and moved to roll a bolder from the side to the middle to give himself a seat while watching the sun.

Nico was nonplussed, both the man's anger and his motion to sudden outburst due to it a given. The consequences, whatever they were going to be, were something he had accounted for when he weighed the pros and cons of arising some reaction in the first place. Granted, it wasn't as amusing or entertaining as he had expected it to be but as close as he could have had it without calling it a failure. The fact the man openly spoke about his oncoming doom was a mild surprise though.

"Wait a second, you're gonna kick the bucket and you're coming into the game to do it? That's some sick shit ol---distinguished gentleman." A mental note and correction, remembering that the game's software would translate any language into one everyone understood.

He didn't follow initially, but rather allowed the man some space to walk to his destination, staying back with the crowd before motioning them all over to him, whispering as he did. "Listen, that old guy over there is about to just up and die over there, in real life. How about we take bets on how long he has? What do you say? Let set the stakes. . "

The low rumble of the crowd grew verbose and overbearing as they moved closer, a shouting match of stakes and bets that could drown out even the most busy of streets let alone a serene clearing. The crowd drew and a stage of an old stump was made. In the shouts it was clear the crowd thought judging from his mannerisms and stature the old man wouldn't last another forty-five minutes, as most bets were less than such, with the most popular bet being set at thirty-five minutes.

A second vein popped on his head, all he wanted was a peaceful passing and now a group of kids decided to start making bets on when he would roll into his grave. Did they really have no respect for his wishes when he made them as clear as day? Grumbling as he tried to block them out until it simply got to annoying as the dying man got up glaring at them.

"Do you all have nothing better to do? If you aren't here to enjoy nature then leave me alone! I just want to peacefully die not hearing you all making fucking bets on someone's remaining time. go enjoy your fleeting moments and let me enjoy mine!"

Growled words as he started coughing from the increased anger and strain on his body and mind. Slamming back down on his seat grumbling truly hoping they would leave him alone or shut up and let him return to the serene of nature. His eyes playing tricks on him as he saw his wife beside him out the corner of his eye. His veins going down at the sight as he sighed and nodded slowly as if listening to something she was saying.

"Soon my harp, I'll be beside you soon and we can sing our old song... Battalion I'll be deploying in the afterlife afterwards..."

his words mellow as he coughed again and started to fall over but caught himself and sat back upright. He was not going to die so easy after fighting to stay around as long as he had. The reaper was at his heels but this soul was not going to stop showing what determination was to himself. He fought countless battles, some he backed down from and was why he refused to have the longest battle of his life end with surrender. Watching as a white stag looked from the other side of the clearing, good luck in the old man's yes as they started to close with another coughing fit.

There was a solemn fleeting moment when all was quiet following grandpa's plight, his call to appealing to emotion. Each and every onlooker - Nico included, looked at him with sadness in their eyes befitting the reflection of their actions. Soon this man's soul would depart the world forever and leave him just a decaying body; the idea of the infinitesimal fleeting nature of life overrode the greed - at least for a moment. His sudden coughing fit did well to snap them back to the reality of the situation. The notion of the quick buck and coming into wealth.

"It-it's been over twenty minutes now. . I'm doomed", someone from the crowd called out just as emotional as the old bag of bones, his own world ending. He bet it all.

"Right, yes, holy shit look he's gonna kick the bucket any moment now!", another spoke out aloud, relishing the moment.

Nico couldn't help but laugh, squatting from his rock stage perch and putting a hand to his brow to get a better look.

"Gobble my nuts, old man. Clearly you're worth more dead than alive, hurry up and kick the bucket will you?"

His peaceful façade with his wife was cut short by the words of the boy. Did they really have nothing better to do then torment a man at the end of his life? Betting on his remaining time, ruining his final wishes? All it did was burn a fire within his heart as he got up and began walking over to the child relishing in the moment ruining the old man's final hour. A slow walk, before a sudden heavy knee to gut and toss into a tree as Morpheus' eyes fully opened with rage inside them.

"I've had enough of you little fucking low life leaches. Can't you fucking tell I'm just wanted to have my last moments in peace and not be put on displace for some twisted fucking inbreed muts!? Go back to your real life fat ass, chair bound life ands suck your mommies tits because that's all the action you will get!"

With that he would storm off to his cane, snapping it away from the group and storm off into the woods again seeking a different spot to let his mind rest at ease and embrace the death's call. He had enough of people leaching off his life, first his parents, then his company, then his kids, then the doctors, now these people. He had enough of that sort of treatment when he always tried to respect people until they broke that or used it against him. Grumbling as his heart kept bumping at a rapid rate while storming deeper and deeper into the woods.

As he found himself another clearing though, he would suddenly find himself elsewhere when he blinked. A quick glance around himself as he noticed some of the game currency, his spare gear, and other such things had fallen out somehow? a slightly confused look as he just picked up his travel pack, stuffed most of the rets within it and looked around. He felt a bit lighter, did not have as much pain, and was honestly unsure what had happened. Shrugging as he merely assumed they gave him drugs to ease the pain and just resumed looking for a place to relax and wait for the end.

OOC: As support section says from how it reads, Morpheus would have simply vanished from where he was in game to a different location as close to his place of real life death and is now UI locked and unaware as he had no plans to log off until his death and has no clue it happen since that is how the game actually works as I was told. Quirking a brow at the old man's sudden gait and noting his already fiery behavior Nico was more than ready for his sudden assault - never having intended him to get anywhere near as close as arms or legs length. A simple jaunt into the shadows of a nearby rock thrust him from harm's way well before the attack, leaving him unharmed.

"Damn, if you spent half as much effort in life as you have trying to come up with interesting insults maybe you'd have actually accomplished something ya old fuck."

The crowd didn't relent in simply following him and neither did Nico, though perhaps with a bit more of a berth as to not trigger an early demise. Nobody wanted to ruin their chances at the big payout. As he crossed the tree-line, breaking eyeshot for a fleeting moment he seemingly disappeared. And so, arguing ensued.

"I have Hypersense, he's gone mate." An individual noted, as he conversed with another, speaking upon whether the man had given the slip. None knew the peculiarities of death in real life and what happened should it happen when you were in game, and none suspected just exactly what had happened.

Meanwhile, Nico had given them the slip, pocketing the majority of the gold and leaving with little trace.

— Poof, exit.
