The goblin and beastman turned to the would be alchemist, both looking slightly annoyed. "What would you suggest then?" Brutus would ask raising an eyebrow. The Goblin would simply growl a bit.

"Yeah! All negativity, not productivity." Gon would grunt. "We need to protect da kidz and da ladies for da future."

The other goblins, slightly keen on the conversation it would seem, would all be gathering around seemingly getting riled up by the notion of getting their own village. "Boomer" the large one, was talking to the red scarf goblin who in turn would telephone over to a goblin with an eyepatch who would add a few bits, then talk to a Goblin wearing a cowboy hat. The more and more was said in goblin, the more riled up the crowd began to get.

It appeared, that things were getting out of hand. Pretty soon all of the able bodies goblin fighters were chanting something that Brutus could only imagine was along the way of "New home! New home! New home!"

When the two seemed to focus on her she could only sigh. She was just giving them the downsides and making sure they knew the risk of each choice. She honestly did not care what they decided to do in the end as she turned to face them with a yawn escaping her lips. She did not look all that keen or interested on the matter but she would give them her thoughts. Maybe it would help them build off it.

"The first big issue is that nobody but the two of us seems to know you are peaceful or friendly goblins. So before you go moving or taking over the old camp of other creatures you need to show you can be trusted."

Kaede would stand up, hand reaching to get her dagger from in her boot and holding the bladed side with the handle towards the knight. It was only if he took it that she would speak further on the matter.

"To anyone from our world a goblin with any sort of weapon is seen as easy kill, And those without even more so. You need to find a way to gain the trust of both the players of the region and the landers. Yes word from one person helps but it will not carry the weight in a mob of dislike towards you."

Kaede would reach her hand back out for her dagger to place it back in her boot before she would scratch the back of her head to recall some history classes she had taken back in middle school about this sort of thing.

"In the case where you are seen as threat you need a middle man, and an export to build trust or need for your continued existence. You goblins sometimes speak orc also, and I'm not sure how well you can blend into other tribes but one thing you could provide is intel or such on orcs and other tribes."

Kaede doubted anything she was saying was making much sense to the goblin knight, either way she would look to Brutus to try and dumb it down as she clearly was not in the mood to simplify it any further then she already was. She had more to say but until she knew the result of these things she could not detail more of how she thought this group could stay alive without issues.

Brutus squinted and turned to Gon, who was busy trying to calm down the growing mob of goblins chanting "New Home, New home, New Home."

"In theory I could see about getting you guys to secretly work for old man Stankins." He offered. "Have you guys be surrogate forest scouts, be a first layer of alarm for anything bad happening."

The Goblin would turn back to him and cock his head to the side. "Zis smelly old man, he would take our info?"

"He's not smelly, that's his name. In theory I could have you guys report to me and I'll feed him the info. When it turns out to be reliable, I can introduce the two of you in a private meeting, slowly but surely we could build you a rapport with the people of Honeyhome as being good scouts and protectors, allowing us to build you a name."

The goblin pondered this for a moment and noddedd. "Any suggestions from the witch?"

"I don't see an issue with it, in the end it is what you all decide to do. I'm just the voice of negative outcomes in this whole thing."

Kaede would shrug as she spoke, the two could decide the route they took all she cared about was helping if they needed it. She would supply funding if asked nicely, she would teach them medical basics if they showed promise like the one goblin had done. But overall if they did not want her help she would leave them alone until something forced her hand on the matter.

Regardless of the choice they made Kaede would whistle lightly to Totetsu to call the hound back now that the kids had been burnt out to avoid the hound trying to keep playing with them. Looking at the two as she chose to resume her train of thought on what would work well.

"You just have to make sure everyone in your tribe is on the same page if the choice is made. One wrong idea and trust will take a lot longer. That said if you all work well, and prove there is chance for some other creatures then It could lead to something that will change the outcome of the whole world. A single pebble in the ocean can make a tsunami if done right.~"

Kaede spoke her final words of advice as she would gather her things and get ready to leave if they did not need the negative Nancy for further planning. She had other things to take care of before the day was over, A emotional bomb to deal with away from people, and some medical supplies to make usable. Either way she knew there was no wat for them to get ahold of her, but it mattered little to her as she wanted very little to do with things that had risk attached anymore.

The Goblins would begin going apeshit as Gon explained the plan. They would begin there max exodus to the new village, and they would begin a new life as scouts, helping protect people in order to forge a new path forward. Brutus would turn to Kaedae and give her a thumbs up and a smile.

"Looks like things are going to get uh...pretty hectic around here sooner or later. Are you gonna be in the area?" he cocked his head to the side.

The goblins began to rile themselves up more and more, to the point where even the children who had been playing with Totetsu had joined in on the chanting and dancing, the whole thing escalating to a full blown small party. Gon finally managed to get everyone calmed down, after about ten minutes, and began chattering in goblinese. When he was done, he would turn back to Brutus and squint at him.

"It's a long trek to the village, I don't suppose we could hire the services of the red giant could we?"

"No need to pay me."
Brutus replied. "This one is pro bono."

"Not entirely close by, I live in the town on the border between West and East Brisshal. Though I do make trips around both areas to deliver medical supplies so might poke in every so often to see how things are going."

Kaede would scratch under Totetsu's chin as the hound grew back to the size of a bear and Kaede would climb onto the back of the mount while making one last check for everything she wanted to bring back with her was still there. She did not fully trust anyone to not dig around her things when she looked away. Adjusting her spot before she would wave farewell and bounded off with Totetsu without much else said.

Mostly because she was starting to slip back into a hostile mindset and did not want to lash out around anyone again. Maybe another time she would be more emotionally stable and cross the group of goblins again or the giant brute. Either way for the time being she needed some alone time in a place where her magic would not destroy the area, maybe go visit Zalra to lash out over there once she left Totetsu to sleep back home.

Brutus would bid Kaede farewell and then go about preparing the move. It would take a lot of coordination to wrangle all of these goblins safely into greener pastures, but it would be worth it for a potential future in which humans and goblins did not need to fight to the death. First was a matter of preparing the women and children, helping them pack up supplies and tents, getting everything ready to pick up their entire livelyhoods to fuck off elsewhere.

Truly the simplest of tasks.

Next was trying to calm down the goblin fighters, who had worked themselves into a frenzy over the idea of finding a new home. If they were too riled up things were liable to go sideways on them, and in order for this to go smoothly he needed them all as calm and rational as possible. Once all of that was prepared, he would reach out through the messaging system to see if he could recruit some more heavy hitters.

This was going to be like Wrangling cats.
