A hammer or mace would definitely be some of the easiest weapons that they could add to the mech. She was pretty sure that she could forge them easily. They were only blunt lumps of metal or other material, after all, so it wouldn't be too difficult to whip them up. However, the idea of a rocket punch was definitely a lot harder for them to accomplish, causing Luna to giggle behind her hand at the thought, watching Mystia adorably throwing jabs at the air, as if she were shadowboxing.

"Haha, a rocket punch would be really neat, but might not end up being too useful once we get actual weapons, especially ranged ones, built." She hummed, approaching a blackboard with a piece of chalk in hand, beginning to slowly draw up a sketch of Mystia's mech from the front and from the side, listening as Mystia talked about ideas.

And Mystia was right. The old Arcanamancy would have been ideal. "It would have been perfect, yeah. Arcanamancy felt so powerful, back in the day. So full of raw power, I never felt like I needed another method of attacking things." And she'd never used another method, so maybe she'd been right.

"If not a laser gun, though, perhaps some kind of gauss rifle or coilgun to shoot projectiles?"

Mystia smiled herself when she noticed how amused Luna appeared to be. Even if they ended up not coming up with anything realistic, it'd be worth it as long as they had fun with the process. It was a nice thing about games that the real life, unfortunately, did not share, as it was the results that often mattered more than anything else.

"That's actually one thing I have been wondering about. I didn't get to fight much during the expedition, so I didn't test it myself yet, but since this is a game, I'd imagine some enemies might just be more vulnerable to certain types of attacks? If that is the case, no type of attack should be discounted, even if it seems impractical!"

It was probably a good thought, but since Mystia wasn't oriented around dealing damage, she'd probably end up with somewhat limited options anyway. As for the arcanamancy thing, there was also something the far wondered about.

"Mm, wouldn't it get boring to keep using the same thing over and over, though? I guess it depends on the person, but there is the whole saying of 'variety is the spice of life'."

She recalled Luna talking about her pet and the whole thing that happened there during the transition, so maybe it wasn't meant literally, but it still made the girl wonder.

It was definitely nice to just be able to be as imaginative as possible, without having to worry about impressing some sort of boss or employer. As they were, they could suggest pretty much anything and work towards whatever they wanted to, even if it ended up being something that they couldn't accomplish.

Though Mystia had a good mind for this kind of thing, already thinking about different variance in terms of damage types and how they could be important. Luna nodded at that, a smile on her face as her ears flicked and her tail swished lazily through the air behind her.

"You're correct, yeah. There are different enemies that would resist certain kinds of damage, though they've been a little rare, so I don't know how prolific they would be. But with ranged attacks and crushing attacks, it's pretty unlikely that you'll run into something that resists both."

As for whether or not using the same thing over and over would get boring, Luna nodded, conceding that point.

"Well, back then I was terrified of dying, even though we had no clue that it could kill us in the real world. I was just scared of feeling what it would be like to die. So even though Arcanamancy could feel boring, I always used it, because it always worked. My beast taming essentially became me keeping pets and companions."

It was good that Mystia still could apply some of her logic to games despite not exactly having much experience in the area. It was also good to know that enemies who would outright counter her would be on the more rare side and, even then, would be unlikely to completely nullify all of what the fae had at her disposal. In that case, she really could focus more on what seemed interesting rather than on what would be most effective numbers-wise.

The fact that Luna used to be terrified of dying was also perfectly understandable. She was young, at least as far as Mystia figured, and her time had not yet come. Well, even older people who mostly came to terms with things were probably a bit scared. Such a thing was only natural for a person. Since the other girl was already by the blackboard next to the small fae, she would seize the chance and move in from the side, hugging her briefly.

"No one should have to worry about death like that, so I understand. Going the safer route was a perfectly sensible option."

Considering how things ended with Luna, the fae was unsure if any of what she said would even make a dent. Hopefully, the beastkin wouldn't feel bad about the past.

Receiving a hug from the smaller woman, Luna blinked, before she smiled, wrapping her arms around Mystia, her tail also coming up and around to coil around Mystia's waist. She continued to hold Mystia closer to her, even if the woman was ready to pull away, not quite prepared to let go of the warmth of another just yet. Mystia was so caring and teacherly that Luna couldn't help but be reminded of how she'd felt in those first moments of meeting Lucia, finding somebody smart, that knew what they were talking about.

It was a very comforting feeling.

"It was probably more sensible, yes. I actually met a veteran back then and she gave me that advice, to go with the options that seemed most sensible." And it had saved her life. It had also, technically, killed her, since she would not have been able to blow herself up, if she hadn't had access to Arcanamancy in the first place. She smiled, leaning down slightly to take in Mystia's scent, her senses sharper than a human's, though lacking in Beastkin standards. Still, Mystia had a particularly pleasing scent to her.

"You're very soft and warm, Mystia. I hope that doesn't come across as strange."

Realizing that Luna didn't seem to be quite ready to break the embrace, Mystia would smile and close her eyes, silently accepting the request to prolong the moment. People were social creatures by nature. Some more, some less. But all people could derive pleasant feelings from being close to someone else, especially if mutual trust was involved. The fae certainly did not mind helping the beastfolk out, allowing her to get as much love as she needed and wanted.

"It's not strange. We all need that kind of comfort from time to time, so feel free to indulge~!"

This was probably a good sign that the two girls were indeed on the way to becoming good friends. It was amazing how the medium of the internet and games could accelerate the process. If they were in the physical world, the moment would probably have been more awkward than anything. Well, it might have still been slightly awkward, given their height difference while hugging.

They stood there for an elongated moment, embracing one another softly. Luna had always been quite a physically affectionate person, even back in the days that she was too timid to display that kind of behaviour, so it could be said that she'd grown up slightly touch starved, all due to her own timid personality. But Mystia was warm, soft and comforting, so this was a nice feeling. One that she tried to hold onto as long as possible, a soft smile on her face as Mystia allowed her to prolong the hug.

Eventually though, she had to pull away, her face tinged with a little bit of pink as she chuckled, rubbing at the back of her neck in an attempt to ward away the embarrassment. "Sorry about that. I can be quite the physically affectionate person, so I hope that didn't make you too embarrassed or anything." She grinned warmly.

"You're a nice person, letting me hug you like that."

At times, even the longest of moments could feel like mere moments that would pass by in an instant. This was one of those moments, at least for Mystia. When it was finally time, she would take a few steps away from Luna and let the other girl recollect herself. Though she just had to shake her head when the apology came.

"Oh, it's fine! I understand that some people can be rather uptight about physical contact like that, but I happen to believe that we should not be afraid to indulge in such harmless things."

Even if she was very new to her role as a teacher, she could already see it in some students. Stress and anxiety that came with the environment or even personal situations. She also believed that, as someone in a position of power, she could help them calm down and enjoy things more. This situation was no different from that.

"I can understand that returning to this game after so long can make someone emotional. I'm sure many of the veterans are!"

Wow, Mystia really was quite the kind and accepting person. Very understanding too! And it was nice to meet somebody else that was happy to indulge in things like physical contact, even referring to it as harmless. Over the years, Luna had really been working on fixing how touch starved she'd realized that she felt in the past. After being introduced to physical affection and lots of it, she had no desire to return to that lifestyle of never touching anybody. Even just shaking somebody's hand filled her with a sense of warmth and closeness.

"You're right. I think people would be a lot happier if they just allowed themselves to indulge in things like hugs and kisses and holding hands!" She smiled warmly. She was an affectionate person. She'd practically been groomed to be that way, spending so much of her time in Terrasphere before the server block with such affectionate people.

"You're right though. It's a pretty emotional feeling." Now that she was looking at Mystia, the faerin woman was very attractive. That tacked onto a patient, warm and understanding personality was quite the enticing package. "Though I hope you also have a really fun time, too! Terrasphere really helped me in the past and I made some amazing friendships and connections. There's so much to be done here that can't be done in the real world!"

Not only did she manage to make someone happy today by sharing in their burdens, and acquiring half of a workshop as a result, but she was then able to help further by providing emotional support. All in all, it seemed that Mystia had a good reason to feel accomplished today! Though, ultimately, she was just happy for Luna and the fact that she was still very obviously enthusiastic about this game despite having some really negative experiences with it.

"Haha, I don't think there is any worry to be had there! I'm already enjoying myself aplenty! I've even gotten to build myself a magical mech, not something many people in the physical world can claim!"

That last bit was more of a joke than anything, but it did serve to highlight that the fae was already eagerly exploring the fantastical parts of this game. She was looking to finding out even more, though she also hoped that it would not be quite as exciting as what she had gotten with the Red Fever. Perhaps that part was a bit too much.
