Eastern Brisshal
Time: Early Afternoon
Weather: Sunny

The forest of Eastern Brisshal was for most of its part, peaceful. Birds whistled along with the wind that brushed the woods, bringing an orchestra that only the mother nature could make. Wolves sometimes wandered through the area, but for most of part the brave adventurers, be Starcalled or Landers, fend them off and forced the more hostile creatures to maintain a safe distance... With the only thing remaining to 'haunt' such a peaceful area being the goblins that sometimes sneaked into it.

The potential danger of goblinoids didn't ward off the beginners, however. After all, this was the first place they stepped on, and many of them grew fond to it. Important roads and trails also pierced through the forest, creating shortcuts that turned long travels that would take a week, to only last a couple days.

... But perhaps, today it wasn't such a peaceful day.

Through the trail, or a road in a forest, the smell of burning wood reached to the nostrils of the travelers. There was no wildfire, which brought the simple conclusion: Someone had set up a camp.

It wasn't unusual, but certainly wasn't common. Enough to make someone wary.

And then... There was the rustling. It was hard to pick up where exactly it was from, after all, it was windy and the treetops loved to play tricks to the mind of who was paranoid.

It wasn't goblins, were it?

A few leaves began showering, and a couple thuds could be heard. Two large violet fruits crashed nearby, foreshadowing something coming from above... But before one could react, the sound of a snap, and a yell- "WATCH OUT!" followed with the sudden blur of a faerin man, that was falling head first from a high height, only to have his fall interrupted by the vines that were entangling his body, abruptly yanking him upward again, letting him hang upside down, and leaving him on eye level to @Wisp.

"Huh- Hey there!" Hanno smiled warmly, hugging a large purple fruit, even bigger than the ones that had fallen. In fact, it had the size of a watermelon, enough for the man to hold it with an embrace. "Sorry for the scare. Did you get hurt?" As he asked, another snap sound could be heard, and the branch that was barely hanging above fell.

The faerin opened his eyes widely, thrusting the fruit on his arms forward to deflect the branch away before it got to hit either the woman or him, but it only made the vines force the branches down even more, making him fall a couple inches, and tremble as he was about to fall. "Oh crap, oh crap-!"

The weather was so nice in Eastern Brisshal. It was totally understandable why the vibrant green trees and flourishing plants of the forest was known for being such an important place for beginners in the game like her. She honestly really liked this area, well exploring it at least. She felt relatively safe doing it most of the time. Though there were a few points where her own curiosity would probably get the better of her.

The smell of smoke in the air and the fact that she was wandering around alone should've told her to stay away from the direction she was heading, but she didn't heed the warning. She continued to play with her UI as she walked. It was important to see the features available to her, primarily her combat style. That was something she still needed to piece together at this point.

How did she want to develop her character? Having a signature style would be good, but was she really out here with the intention to be cool? Honestly, she just liked exploring and learning the lore of the game. It scratched her itch to research and learn as much as she could about the mysterious Terrasphere world.

She was pulled out her daze though when two decently sized purple fruits came tumbling down from the tree in front of her along with some wood. Along with them a man. She couldn't help but jump and let out a little scream as she realized his face was right in front of her own.

"What the hell?!"

Wisp jumped back a good five feet and watched as an even larger version of the purple fruit was chucked up to block more branches. How the heck?!

She blinked and looked at the dangling man.

"Do you need a hand?"

She asked but causally summoned her beginner rusty blade and hacked at the vines that were holding him up. She really should think about buying better equipment. That was probably the best way to start figuring out her character's build.

Hanno's ears flattened against his head when the woman exclaimed a startled rhetorical question, but as soon as she offered help, relief crossed his expressions.

"A hand, a knife, an anti-gravity artifact. Anything would help, if that won't trouble'cha!" Hanno chuckled, watching @Wisp approaching with a rusty blade, and eventually reaping away the vines. The faerin braced himself, already expecting a fall, and when it did happen, he forced his head up so he would fall on his back while holding the fruit protectively in an embrace, letting out a quiet grunt and letting out a sigh when he felt terra firma again.

He stood up, slapping away grass and leaves while holding the fruit under his left arm, looking up at the helpful stranger and grinning.

"Whew, thank you, buddy! I would've had a bit more trouble to get outta there without your help. Really, thank you a lot!" Hanno grinned, and his eyes trailed to her blade again.

"First day in Terra? I don't think I've ever seen these face or eyes before."
He wondered, sticking out a free hand to her. "Name is Hanno. Hanno Futaba. I don't usually fall from trees like that, but well. You won't find an ice breaker better than that, honestly." It was a bit of silverlining.

Wisp looked at him as she was hacking at the vines. She paused a moment and blinked as she processed what he was saying about the tools that would help him. She looked up at her sword and shurgged her shoulders.

A rusty sword would have to do.

As she finished hacking at the vines she watched them start to break apart. Quickly gravity took over and the faerin fell to the ground with relatively safe level of contact. Nothing seemed broken and honestly he was a little cheery even? People in this game really were a unique breed.

"Not entirely my first day per se. Just a rookie explore who...has been neglecting getting better materials since starting. It's fine."

She smiled softly. Based on the way he spoke it seemed like he was a pretty solid veteran of the game, so maybe he would be someone she could pick the brain of to learn some things?

"My name is Wisp. I'm about a week into my exploration of the game. It's nice to meet you Hanno Futaba."

She took his hand and shook it with confidence.

"What are you planning on doing with all of these...fruit?"

She looked at him with a curious expression as he still held the large purple watermelon looking food. Sure that wasn't going to be something useful?

Hanno listened to the woman's words, taking his time to analyze her. Fighter type? No immediate signs of magic, one week in into the game yet she still was in the immediate beginner's area. Truly, she was an explorer at heart.

"It is nice to meet'cha too, Wisp." Hanno returned the handshake in the same intensity. It felt confident and he liked that.

"Neglecting it isn't a bad idea. Terrasphere has very unexpected dangers, so taking your time to learn the territory and test waters is the right choice." He reassured, tilting his head. "You wouldn't want to get into a big trouble all by yourself, trust me."

When @Wisp's attention locked on the fruit he held, Hanno pulled it out from under his arm, holding it out for her to have a closer look if she wanted. Unlike a watermelon, it lacked strips, looking more like a giant purple egg than anything else. "This big guy here? It is a wonderful fruit. Tastes kinda like a blueberry, but has a thicker consistence." He smiled, putting the fruit back under his arm.

"And it may be your lucky day. I have a camp set up a few minutes away from here. I was looking for this to make a sauce for a meal, so if you want to come with me, have a bite and maybe a talk, consider yourself invited." He pointed back with his thumb, half turning at that direction and side glancing to see if she would follow.

Wisp smiled softly at his warm greeting. Hanno Futaba sure did seem a lot nicer than most players on this game. Many of them seemed as if they had a chip on their shoulder or something that she couldn't fully grasp yet. That was the nice thing about being new to a game like this though, she could start out slow and build herself up without any need to rush it. Honestly, compared to her like in the real world...Terrasphere was peaceful to her. At least, it was a sweet reprieve from the stresses of supporting two little ones and other...more depressing things.

She was determined to not dwell on those things today.

"I agree. Learning the world and appreciating the beauty of it. I think those things are extremely important, just like memorizing how to get around an area."

Half the fun of adventure was that you could explore. The other half was the memories made and the stories to tell. She nodded her head as Hanno explained the contents of the large purple fruit he was so desperately protecting from the fall a few moments earlier. It was going to be used for a sauce? Honestly, given her love for cooking this realization made her giggle softly.

"I would love to join you, Hanno. Thank you for the invitation."

"Learning huh?" Hanno nodded, looking at her for a moment. She seemed at least remotely experienced at the fact she needed to know the territory first, which was mildly relieving for Hanno. But still, he needed to make sure she would be safe at least while was still around, and to know what she would expect if she wanted to continue in Terrasphere. "We can talk a bit about this place with a good food on a bowl then." He smirked.

As he continued to lead the woman through the forest, he started babbling about his intentions with the big fruit, especially with Wisp's giggle, it seemed like she was excited about it too.

"Y'know, I saved a farm ealier today from some sneaky goblins, and the granny over there? She gave me as a thanks- guess what?" He asked rhetorically with his index raised, but still gave a second for @Wisp to guess if she wished. "A whole rack of mutton. And buddy, what a big rack of mutton!" Hanno grinned, excitedly.

"And I've been wanting to try a sauce with this thing, because I know a recipe of rack of lamp with blueberry that is amazing. So a rack of mutton with this... Big thing here must be just as tasty if not more!"

It wasn't hard to notice a faint smoke at just a minute away from distance, which made Hanno's pace slow down for a bit, knowing that probably there was nothing for him to worry in his camp.

Whenever they neared there, a campfire with a large rack of mutton over it crackled. The dripping fat of the mutton made the fire grow at times, before settling down. The camp had a small tent too, and next to it, the one thing that was completely alien to such a peaceful scenario was an enormous shield, nearly the size of Hanno, having a wide open central eye in it.

'Food on a bowl, huh?'

Wisp giggled. The girl beyond the headset had to repress the desire to correct his grammar on that statement. She was an English teacher for a living, but she wouldn't be getting paid to correct his words. Besides, she knew what his meaning was for the phrase.

Sharing a meal was a kind gesture and honestly she welcomed it.

In this game she enjoyed exploring, but that usually left her on her own for much of the time. Sure she had a friend that was interested in picking Terrasphere back up, but that didn't mean she would. Otherwise the only other person she'd met was her knight in shining chaos, Schilva. And well...he was a hell of a guy for sure.

Either way, she couldn't hide her stomachs' growl as Hanno explained his plans for the food he'd gathered. It sounded like it really was going to be quite a delicious dish. Though she had to admit she'd never enjoyed mutton with a blueberry sauce, or lamb with such a thing for that matter.

"It sounds quite interesting. I've never had such a unique meal. When it comes to enjoying mutton or lamb I tend to go for more simple dishes, like Pecora e Verdure. It's a pretty simple stew with stock, onions, potatoes, and sundried tomatoes. Very good for the chilly seasons."

She smiled thinking about the meal. She'd made it a few times for her kids after her mother taught it to her.

"Do you prefer light meals or more hardy selections, Hanno?"

"Oh?" Hanno grinned at her words. "A fellow cook? If I am not lucky to meet another person that knows their way on the kitchen!" His fist clenched in joy. Of course, he loved to cook for everyone, but having someone that seemed to enjoy culinary around only made it even better, as they knew how to appreciate it more.

"I really like how it sounds though. You have to show me how this Pecora e Verdure is." His eyes brimmed with curiosity. "I am more a fan of the balance, I choose what fits the mood and the season more. I know, it is a bit of a lame answer, but what can I say? I love any food, haha!" His gaze then shifted to his shield, waving at her as he approached the campfire.

"Ghast, nobody messed with the mutton, right?" He asked, and the shield's eye focused on the faerin, with a tentacle sprouting from its side and shaking in a negative way. "Good, also- Say hi to our friend. Her name is Wisp. Wisp, her name is Ghast, don't worry about her, she is docile. Just be careful for her to not steal your food when I serve you some."

The shield's eye locked on @Wisp, and a rumble came from her while she 'nodded' with her tentacle.

Meanwhile, Hanno placed the large fruit over a stump he has been using as a table and counter, and then glanced over the roasting rack, that already had a very beautiful color in it. He licked his lips, turning it to the other side to let it roast a bit more where it was still a bit too light, and glancing to Wisp. "Make yourself comfortable, by the way. If you want something to drink let me know."

He gestured to the tent, and the blanket on the grass.

Rina smiled as Hanno seemed to gush about his excitement for meeting someone else that enjoyed cooking. Honestly, it was a hobby she picked up much more seriously in college. A little task for her own self care since the school's food selections was less than desired for her tongue. The level to which it had grown was due to the fact that for a time in her life she had access to recipies and ingredients that many could only dream of on their budget. So, now that she had become so fortunate as to learn she could explore those skills in game? Honestly, she was elated.

"Yes! I'm so happy to meet a friend that enjoys exploring the adventures of a kitchen as well. I hadn't realized the game was so open and allowed the players to do such a thing. This is even more exciting for me."

She giggled with excitement. Though paused as her gaze fell on the rather large and intimidating shield resting near the camp. Slowly she tilted her head and listened as Hanno addressed his defensive tool as Ghast. The eye seeming to gaze at her with an equally curious though oddly expressive look as well. Though the greeting with the tentacle made Rina bring a finger to her lip and smile as she pondered this rather mystical creation.

"Ghast...well aren't you just so lovely. It's a pleasure to meet you."

She offered the shield a small bow before taking a seat on a log near the fire. She nodded at Hanno before pulling up her UI and moving down the list of items that she currently had stored. With a few points into the air a copper kettle, a few mugs, and a small canister of tea materialized into her lap.

"Actually I have a nice black tea that I purchased in Finweald if you would like to share. We might have to wait for the mutton to finish though."

"Right? And honestly, in this world, the kitchen adventuring goes even more far than one would think. After all, we have different plants, creatures, and everything in here, so there is so much to explore!" Hanno said, grinning at the reminder of how much of a gastronomic journey it could be at times.

Grateful that @Wisp didn't have a bad reaction to the shield, Hanno continued to work on the food, with ears attentive to the greetings exchanged between his new buddy and the shield.

"Ku ku~"

Hanno rolled his eyes with a chuckle. "Right, there you go, being all smug because you got a compliment." He retorted playfully as the shield narrowed her central eye at him, placing down the fruit and preparing a pot and a small jar of honey, before a small stone was sent flying at the back of his head, making him wince as it struck him.

"Ow! GHAST!" He roared at the shield, that looked away and rumbled innocently, hiding her tentacles behind her large frame.

He shook his fist at her, letting out a sigh before looking at Wisp again, smiling.

"Black tea? Sounds good! Thanks for sharing it, buddy. I will try to not take too long with this. At the very least, the mutton part is almost done, and the sauce isn't that hard to make." Filling the pot with water, some honey, vanilla, and of course, a pieces of the fruit he worked on, crushing it on a separated bowl.

As he worked on it, he couldn't help but slip a question- "Say, you joined Terrasphere recently, right? How much do you know about it?" A simple question, trying to measure how far she knew about the truth behind this game. VRSA didn't get rid of every piece of information out there.

"I'm sure the gastronomic delights are going to be a blast! I'm really interested in exploring and seeing what I can possibly create in the future. Right now I've just been snacking on all the goodies I can buy or the raw fruits in the woods. Since I'm still a baby explorer, there's a lot to sample."

She grinned sheepishly at happily admitting she had a bit of a snacking habit. It seemed that since she joined the game her tendency to grab a bite was the more common trait for her. She loved cooking and sampling dishes came with the delight of her hobby....or just sampling good things for the fun of it. The world within this game, no...the reality that she was experiencing now...was so diverse from what she was used to.

Rina couldn't help but to snicker as Ghast showed their sassy side. Though Hanno's comment certain seemed to draw it out even further with the small projectile flying towards his head. Rina couldn't help herself as she made a mental tally of Ghast - 1 and Hanno - 0. How much back and forth did the shield and handler share on a daily basis?

"Glad to share it."

She popped open the lid to her kettle and dumped some water into the copper pot before setting it over the fire near where the pot of sauce would soon take residence. She had to admit that Hanno had a gift for kitchen magic. The way he moved with expert precision in dicing up and crushing the fruit was impressive.

"Wow, I've already entered buddy territory huh? I'm impressed. I've heard some rumors, but my actual knowledge is pretty empty honestly. I'm still amazed by how life-like everything is. How long have you been playing this game, Hanno?"

At @Wisp's snicker, Ghast wiggled her tentacles in enjoyment, all while Hanno just shook his head and smiled faintly at it, being okay with it as long as the two of them were having fun.

"Haha... You know, my very first adventure in this world was me trying to grab one of these fruits up on a tree, and falling in front of my first friend in this game. After that, I had to deal with wolves, but the fruit was really worth it. Learning a new world is no easy task, but it is fun." Hanno explained, ignoring the throbbing bump on the back of his head while he poured the crushed fruit into the pot, and stirred it with the other ingredients, allowing it to make a good mix that soon had an interesting consistence on it, where he decided to let it boil a bit more while he watched Wisp preparing the tea.

"As soon as you gave me a hand you were already in the buddy territory." He chuckled, and nodded. "I've started playing this like... Five years and a half ago." Hanno tried to count, and reached this conclusion- "But after the first half year I've played it, the VRSA blocked the access for about four years, and when it came back, I resumed my game..."

Returning to the mutton, he took the stick that had pierced through the rack, and lifted it to bring it closer to the stump that was serving as a table, resting on it and getting his knife ready again.

"It is really life-lie, perhaps because it is almost a second life." He admitted this much, especially for certain people... "You said rumors, huh? Terrasphere has a bunch of them, and I know a lot about which ones are rumors, and which ones are real."

Cutting pieces of the rack, Hanno side glanced Wisp.

"I would like to make sure your knowledge is at least filled with the basics for today."

Rina stirred the water around before putting a little baggy of fresh-made dried tea leaves into it and waiting for the combination to boil. She looked over at the mixture that Hanno was crafting in his pot. It had a deep violet color to it. There was a sweet scent originating from the juices in the pot. It really did smell like blueberries, but there was something more earthy about it. It made her curious to try the sauce.

She smiled softly as she looked at Ghast again. The shield was clearly just as lively as her master. It was good to see that even the magical aspects of the game had a unique life to them. She loved the way that TS embraced the wildest of imaginations, but with how lifelike this game was....

Well there was risk in anything.

"Wow....still five and half years is a very long time. I'm impressed. It's a lot of time and dedication that goes into continuing your own story in a second life."

Shifting her weight, Rina pressed her back against a wooden surface and looked at the mutton. She had to admit that her stomach was starting to growl. There were always so many delicious treats to enjoy in the game and she was certain that this meal with a new friend would probably be one of the best, yet.

"Buddyzone huh? I like it. That's a big reason I joined the game. I want to make lots of friends."

A bright smile spread across her lips at the fact that she was actually starting to achieve her ultimate goal already. To create bonds with people and just focus on enjoying herself was very important. She needed an outlet like TS to get through life in a constructive manner, even if she was only able to play for a few minutes a day.

Though when the topics changed to confirming rumors, Rina hesitated. Did she really want to explore that topic with Hanno? There were some pretty morbid rumors about the game. Though the topic of death was certainly one that she believed. There were news reports and rumors, though the catalyst wasn't exactly proven.

Rina had an idea of the risks she was taking as a player.

"Sure thing. It seems like you have some pretty heavy stuff you want to cover with me. I guess we can start with...the division between races in the game? Why do npcs...or...landers? seem to hate players like us in some regions?"

Hanno smiled bittersweetly at the mention of dedication, with his eyes lingering on the mutton he had brought to the stump, carefully cutting it in pieces, slicing the knife between the bones. "Honestly. I got into this game expecting something... Halfway through it, I've learned it is more than just a game." His gaze grew a bit more distant, but the smell of the sauce snatched his attention again, along with the way she spoke of a 'buddyzone', that took a sincere chuckle out of his lips.

"Sorry for buddyzoning you." He joked a bit, pondering. "Well, this game is perfect to find some friends. Two to three near death experiences with someone else really brings your hearts closer, you can't find a better bonding than that." Hanno grinned.

Preparing a bowl, he placed three pieces of the rack into it, using a ladle to take a generous portion of the sauce and pour on top of each piece, also taking the opportunity to crush some herbs and sprinkle them over it, giving a bit more of color and soft taste to it.

After offering the bowl to @Wisp first, he decided to prepare his own, nodding at her question.

"An interesting one... A wise one too. We, Players... Or Travelers, or even Starcalled, are very different from the Landers. They are native of this world, we are pretty much visitors... But since the crushing majority consider this world to be 'just a game', they treat the Landers as something disposable. And this arrogant approach kinda makes them pissed? And then, there are the Landers that are assholes, so they take these arrogant players and use it to generalize us." He explained, taking a deep breath and then taking a seat.

"... But recently, something happened that made this wall between Landers and Players even bigger."

It was more than just a game? Well, she'd heard the rumors about the effects the game could have on people. The fact that some landed in comas or dead was a known risk when playing the game. Still, how it happened was something that seemed unexplainable. She'd just brushed it off as something to be wary of at the start. Though the way Hanno talked, it sounded almost like Terrasphere was another world, not a game...

The more she listened the more her assumptions seemed to be confirmed though. How the landers reacted to the people that played the game. "Starcalled" as they said...an interesting title for sure. Though it certainly seemed to bring the story to life for those players that didn't view it as anything more. She frowned softly the more she listened.

"Sounds like a normal societal issue. Making the concept of 'Other' just because people are different from them. I guess some of it might be justified, but still....what else has added to the tension?"

Rina looked down at the bowl of food in her hand. It wasn't that she went into this game blind, but there was certainly a lot to learn. A deep respect was needed to experience this reality, but that also meant she could have a life very different from the one she knew. Though she would never trade the time she spent with her children for anything....she certainly longed for the connections that she couldn't build right now and the freedom that she'd once had.

"Buddyzone is a good thing. I'm happy to be there."

She smiled before taking a bite of the mutton. Her taste buds danced with excitement at the flavors. There was so much beauty in this world and it was a definite fact that Hanno's cooking skills only added to it. She couldn't hide her smile as she went for the second bite with her cheeks flushed with joy. There was nothing better than sharing a meal with people that were important to you!

"I'm going to need this recipe though. It's incredible!"

Hanno nodded at @Wisp's words regarding societal issues, and when she questioned about the added tension, he tried to summarize it: "Do you know the magia? The android-like race?" He supposed she could've seen them as an option in the character creation. "A magia called Szofrit, from this world, summoned every magia with a mind controlling... Magic, I guess? And forced many magias, especially players, to attack everyone. We fought off, and most of the magias were freed from the mind control, but when we got to fight her, we found out that she has been corrupted by dissonance, that is a strange eldritch thing that makes everything twisted in this world... So we managed to capture her, and instead of killing her, we kept her locked to study her further... But the Landers didn't like that idea at all, because they are worried about Szofrit freeing herself and causing havoc again."

He tried to explain while his new friend enjoyed her meal, and of course, her eventual compliment was taken happily.

"I'm glad ya like it!" Hanno's grin widened. "I can sure give ya the recipe, it is easily replicable out of game too." He went on, finishing to prepare his own bowl and taking it with him as he took his seat. "Buuut– I also want to try your recipes, so if you actually end up sticking around, let's cook something together someday." Hanno suggested, taking a piece of the mutton and biting it, feeling the mix of sweetness from the sauce and the juicy meat dancing in his mouth.

"Haah~ I can't get tired of this kind of stuff!" He hummed about it, and Ghast watched him with her singular eye, wiggling a tentacle.

"Take it, buddy." Hanno tossed a piece to her, and the shield's eye closed, with a large mouth soon opening in its place to chomp the piece of meat down before she swallowed and opened her eye again, blinking twice and wiggling happily.

"I see."

Rina looked down at her container of delicious food. The sweetness of the smell seemed to help keep her somewhat grounded in the reality around her as she tried to focus on what Hanno was explaining to her. War against the Magia. The very idea made her frown. It explained why her friend was so hesitant to go beyond the few limited locations they had explored together. Kat's character was of the Magia race while Rina had opted for the more generic Human form. This woman...Szofrit was it? Had caused so much damage.

"It's certainly understandable why they would be weary of the players then. Although, it sounds like everyone was a victim in this to some degree."

Rina smiled nervously before taking another bite of her food. It really was a yummy meal. She was fortunate to have become a member after it was all said and done at least. She would've been devastated to see her friend endure that kind of torment.

She looked up at Hanno though as he changed the topic. Ghast certainly seemed to be happy to enjoy her piece of the meal as well. Even such a lively shield could stomach something this good huh? She was glad to be able to bond with new friends.

"I would love to. Next time, I'll make sure to gather up the supplies for an amazing dish.
Though we might have to do a little foraging to find comparisons on the ingredients. I'm always down for a new adventure."

She grinned brightly before stuffing her face and finishing off the goodness. She certainly questioned if she would need to get another bowl. It was so good, but she didn't want to overdo it too much.

"What is your favorite part about this place? It sounds more scary every time I talk to someone, but its also so beautiful."

Hanno nodded with a faint sigh. "Yeah... There was no winners in this. Only victims, so it is even hard to make justice... And honestly, even if there was a way to make justice, the pain would never go away." There was only so much they could do to try to 'compensate' tragedies.

The acceptance to the idea of cooking together brightened Hanno up soon enough, and he beamed. "Nice! I'm gonna hold you to that." He chuckled, waving his hands to open his UI.

He quickly navigated through it, typing up a name and making a window appear in front of @Wisp's eyes.

Notice

Hanno Futaba has sent you a friend request.

After finishing it, Hanno closed the UI, not waiting to see what was the response before responding his new buddy's question.

"If you are talking in general... The Honeyhome village, for sure." Hanno grinned. "It has lovely honeyed delicacies, and it is a very welcoming place overall, even after everything that has happened!" He said, taking the last piece of mutton on his bowl and taking a big bite on it, leaving only the bone behind while he licked his lips and continued:

"Now, if you are talking about the forest itself... Hmmm..." Hanno paused to ponder about it. "There is a clearing around here that is very beautiful. It has a lake, it is flowery, and it even has a Power Stone on it. Really, it is very magical." He swayed his legs when remembering the very pleasing place.

Rina couldn't hide her delight at the sight of the window that popped up in her UI. Hanno was her first official friend in the game, well new friend. She still had Kat of course, but becoming buddies with Hanno was the first real in-game social experience that she gained up to this point. As a new adventurer and player, well she'd learned a lot in their short time together. She closed her UI after clicking on the green check and seeing her friend's list number increase.

The snowy haired female happily cleared her plate before leaning back and looking up at the sky. Her happy thoughts drifted to his words, there were no winners in the situation. Still, so many people fought for the sake of TS and the people who called it home...how many people felt more at home here than in the real world? She wondered about that a bit...would she eventually come to feel the same? Wisp and Rina were to different identities and able to live two very different lives...she could certainly understand the appeal....

"I think that....I can understand this world a little more now. It's like living two seperate lives and I can see why so many would fight to protect this world."

She smiled softly before looking down and finishing up the last few bites on her plate. Her expression brightened more at the description of the two very distinct destinations. Maybe she would try to check out that lovely lake next time. It sounded like a cute location for a date or something.

"Honeyhome sounds delightful. Shall we make a plan to explore it next time we get a chance to meet up? I'm sure you can recommend the best treats Hanno. Ghast would also probably love some honey coated deliciousness."

Rina grinned. She could also look into a few savory honey dishes to cook with her new companions.
