"not terrible all the time... but you try cleaning up after her for a week then we will talk... And riding is fun, until she forgets someone is there and you get a face full of tree branches or cave ceiling."

Kaede would rub her forehead recalling the countless times the little hound had caused her pain, and the countless messes she had to clean up before having enough control of her magic to have it decompose faster then it ever would. Listening more on what the little witch had in mind she could only sigh and shrug it mostly off up until she was asked if she had a place herself.

"Well I sort of have two... erm three if you count the other place... I got my little cottage near the clinic I own, it having a small sleeping space attached. There there is the Manor that a Lander I used to be the adopted kid of gave to me that rarely gets used anymore."

She was not going to mention that the place just hurt her more then anything to be there now, so many memories of people who no longer had been with her. So many things she wished did not happen there also still haunted the place and memory when walking the empty halls so it was nothing more then a ghost manor left to be reclaimed by nature one day. Moving to lean against Totetsu as she decided to stick around a bit longer incase she needed to vent some magic again.

"I don't see why you have to go over and beyond with it. If you are as great a witch as you say then even a simple wooden shack would give the same message to a traveler. Reputation is more then just saying you are X all the time but giving people reason to not only recall, but confirm such a title. Like how I used to hit on about every other girl I came across when I was drunk. Or how I'm always dark and depressing nowadays, erm... the past year now it is more a hit or miss depending on how I wake up."

"A wooden shack? Hehe, easy to say when you have three houses. It may not look like it all the time, but Majolica is a witch that likes comfort and style. Hehe, a wooden shack just wouldn't do. Maybe a cottage, hehe, that's what I had before, but it also had an underground lab and training grounds and was almost like a little village, hehe. But then it got blown up. But on the bright side, hehe, it's an opportunity to upgrade, so maybe I can have someone build me a castle this time. Ooooh! Or maybe a tower made of crystal that rises out of the forest. That would be very witchy indeed, hehe!"

Thinking for a moment about the philosophy of names, titles, and reputations Majolica replied after a few moments of getting her thoughts together.

"I disagree about reputation. Hehe, think about the Witch Ops. It was only created because I kept talking and inviting people to join it. If you don't tell someone that something exists, or that you are someone, hehe, how will they ever know? People need to be told and reminded because it's easy to forget. I am the Grand Witch because I say I am and I have the power to back it up! Hehe, but if I didn't say I was the Grand Witch, I wouldn't be Grand Witch Majolica, I would just be Majolica. I invented the title, hehehe, but it's up to me to make the title mean something."

Majolica stopped and looked at @Kaede Hoshi

"Also, you hitting on people when you're drunk is probably worse than being gloomy, hehe, but you shouldn't be so gloomy either. Maybe try and find a happy medium? Hehehe, you little weirdo."

She was joking but wanted to poke a little fun at Kaede.

Kaede would once more listen while half focused petting her hound to avoid calling the witch out on a few things. She seemed to mostly have her mind in one place and that was more then Kaede ever had. She wanted to make a small play out of taking offence to the jab at how she acted, but decided to simple shrug it off as she rolled with the punches to avoid making any plays on the words. Either way she had to think of some way to keep the conversation moving to avoid awkward silence.

"I don't know, I got more dislike for being doom and gloom then drunk... That or I was so wasted to not notice when people got mad about things I did. If you want to live in the old Manor it just needs some cleaning and such, not that far from the border into Player kingdom if memory serves."

Moving to dig around her bag to find the manor keys to hold them out if the witch wanted to take them. The only issue with the Manor or guess some saw as a blessing was it was locked away in a forest, her adoptive father liked to spend time out there until the very end of his days. Moving to stow the keys back in the bag if they did not get taken before speaking again.

"My happy medium though is this here, not chasing every thought of chance for a one or more night stands, not openly showing the mess going on in my head all the time, and overall just trying to make it through a day at a time."

Hands moving behind her head as she relaxed more into Totetsu and enjoyed the stars and moon and the mostly silent and calm night. Sure the area had a few things watching from a distance but so long as they stuck together nothing seemed to keen on hunting the two players.

"You're giving me a manor... hehehe, sounds suspicious. Is it haunted by ghosts and monsters? Majolica can handle ghosts and monsters but she likes to know what she's getting into first. Hehe, a manor for free sounds too good to be true."

Rubbing her chin in contemplation, Majolica thought for a moment then nodded to herself.

"Well, either way, I'll take it off your hands, hehe. I won't be living there, but you never know when having a place like a manor might be a good thing. You know, for secret meetings or hidden labs, things like that. Like I said, hehe, I want to live in a crystal tower but until I can I'll keep wandering. Though, having a manor as backup is never bad, hehehe."

Continuing on, Majolica commented on Kaede's happy medium.

Well, that's good. At least you know what makes you happy, or if not happy not as miserable hehe. My happy medium is being on top of the world and everyone knows that Grand Witch Majolica is the most powerful, hehehe. Soon I'll be back to that happy medium, just you wait!"

Turning to Kaede Majolica smiled.

So what are you doing after this. Playing with your puppy?

"I did not say I was giving it to you, said you could live there since nobody I know is at the moment. obviously if things changed I'd ask you to leave but I don't think I'll ever go back there and worst case I can sell the deed to you if you want it fully to yourself."

Kaede would once more shrug at the girl who seemed to be focused on one thing and one thing only, she both envied and found it a little annoying but each their own she supposed. When asked what she had planned next she could only question that herself, she played things mostly by ear when she had time off from her clinic work and Totetsu was out of steam so playing would just make the puppy sad or angry and neither she wanted to deal with.

"If I'm being honest, I got nothing planned the rest of the night aside from maybe a nap when not in dangerous area like this. After that, maybe some coffee, go herb gathering, read another book about the elven race... Swim in a lake and just go about a normal day."

Kaede shrugged after she spoke, showing she had no real plans since that was tomorrow and she was more worried about today and all that was left this day was getting some sleep in her mind. The thought of sleep drawing out a yawn from the woman as she cuddled up against Totetsu who coiled around her in response. The two tended to be on the same page when together and opposite when apart. But as Kaede fought to stay awake to keep talking, it seemed like eventually if things stayed as they had the girl was going to put her to sleep.

"I don't want to live in a place I don't own, hehe. No offense but Majolica doesn't like having a landlord or anyone telling her what she can and can't do in the place she lives, hehehe. You seem like you would be a mean or bothersome landlord as well. So, if I take it, no takesy basksies. But it sounds like you want to keep it anyway, hehe, and even if I wanted to buy it, I'm broke, hehe."

Majolica listened to Kaede as she explained her plans and shook her head.

"You know, hehe, for someone with really interesting and dangerous powers you're actually a very boring person. Hehehe, there is a whole world of adventure out there! So much to learn and see and do! And then everything you want to is the most boring of borings. Except maybe reading. Majolica likes to read sometimes as well. You said you like reading elf books, are you interested in elves?"

Noticing the woman was dozing off, Majolica wondered if it was almost time for her to take her leave.

Shrugging as Kaede's offer was turned down, she was going to let the witch do as she liked but guess people did not trust her much and it was fair. Hearing the next part though Kaede could only sigh at the woman. It was night time, some people slept during this time, and she had done enough with her magic for two lifetimes and was ready to have a relaxed life nowadays. The final part though only really got Kaede to wave at her pointed ears to say 'ye because I am one currently' before she would get up and climb into Totetsu's back who shot up in response with a bark.

"Well, as fun as this has been Elves unlike most games and things say need their beauty sleep So I'll be taking my leave. Who knows if I ever find a crystal tower while out exploring this region I'll try to contact you."

Kaede said half as a joke, this place was not ideal to live in without a countermeasure to the effect of the region but she doubted the woman would care much about that. Lightly kicking her heel to Totetsu's side as the hound grew back to it's massive size and got ready to run at the next command as Kaede waved farewell to the little witch and rode off to get back home or at the very least somewhere Totetsu being there would prevent things from trying to attack them while they slept and relaxed.

"Hehehe, we'll see who finds the crystal tower for me to live in first! It doesn't have to be crystal though. Any mage or witch tower that looks very majestic would do, hehe."

With Kaede deciding it was time to sleep, Majolica figured it was time to head home, or somewhere else as she currently had no home. It had been a long day between at first fighting Kaede, then becoming friends, talking about dark magic, and then just talking. Honestly, besides magic, Majolica didn't have much at all in common with the woman, but still, it was pleasant to meet new people.

I can control my magic, but maybe the effects of using Dark Magic and Corruption could do something bad to me in the end. I doubt I'll lose control like she did, hehe, but what if it starts to affect me in a bad way? I'll have to think on this more and decide what to do. Hehe, it wouldn't do if my own magic defeated me.

With that, the little witch took her leave. As she did, she seriously thought about tying Kaede's shoelaces together but decided against it.
