_____It was set in motion before it had even begun, the true downfall, the final fall from grace that would seed the never-ending reign of darkness. A whispered idea here, a little play of vision there to lead Kaede astray, drawing both her and the main person trying to root out the evil with in right to a trap. She had no need for a army to weaken them, no need for anything so unhanded other then setting the field in her home court. Drawing Kaede to change her magic to spirit, the 'only' way to split the two parts of herself so they could combat it, to try and fight darkness.
_____But all that did was give the demoness exactly what she needed to finish the tormented witch off. The moment Kaede had tried to split them Darkness highjacked the spell, ripping what little control Kaede had over the body the two shared to pieces leaving only the demoness. A grand and anti-climatic end but one all the same to the being that was now FREE. Sure they had some time to fight, some struggle but Darkness was not restricted, had no issue truely harming Luna and Kaede. Making sure neither could get back up before the spirit of Darkness moved onto the next stage.
_____Magic swirling around Kaede, breaking down the soul that was once there while her own took the body over, altering it with her other magic to take her form as the base. Blackened claws, corrupt magic forming horns and tail, and dark magic flowing to form the gown that would cover the body as a cold heart called out to the weapon of old. The demonic scythe that started it all, the spot from whence the taboo magic had come now an empty tool to channel her magic as she turned her focus back to Luna. Looking down, a small smile across her face as the cynical tone cut the air.
"Bravado, Like brilliant actresses' you played the parts given to you with true splendor.~ Ah if only the play was not a tragedy pre-written since the fool once known as Kaede has taken this scythe from one of her many kills during her time of grief.~ But worry not little one, you will not die this day, while I do wish it be so those who do good must be rewarded.~ had it not been for you showing Kaede a glimpse of light I could not have swelled her so deeply in darkness."
_____Darkness would turn her head slowly to face Luna, still looking down on the woman beaten and bloody, not much unlike herself but far more so. Sure she could try to attack, but to harm Kaede could the other woman do it? It was a dirty pleasure the Demoness could truly abuse as she left herself wide open. Kaede was still 'in' there somewhere, Darkness doubted she could ever fully root out her and vice versa. But in this moment it mattered little as Darkness would ensure any rebellion was snuffed out by the night's end.
"I've given it some thoughts how I could reward you for all you have done for me. I could leave you alive, knowing you had been the cause Kaede is gone, but that's just to good for someone like you. I could do so many things to reward you but the one that rings out the most...~ is let you stay by my side.~ Maybe leave just enough intact to keep trying to take her back?~ That does sound rather fun?~"
_____Dark magic would begin dragging down from the dress, extending it as a cocoon would start to form, Darkness wondered what would be the last spoken words, the last actions of Luna before the fun began. Sure she COULD leave her as was with a curse or two but Darkness was not so kind. There was much work to be done to ensure the story was one more set for tragedy.~
