< Thread is OPEN for any characters from Camp Hope! Time would be after Phase 1, but before Phase 2. >

She had been listening as Jester took a turn with her instrumental weapon, before the familiar ding! of a message had caught the blonde's attention. Her mind wandered away as Lúthien's eyes strayed to the corner of her UI where an alert now flashed, an unread message waiting, before the elf propped up her palm menu to take a look.

"Oh, it's from spicy boy...?" She recognized the sender's name, hard to forget after quite the adventure they had endured in Redchron. "Hey Jester, wanna go get breakfast before we take a look around the place?"

Personally the elf could use a nice cup of tea and something in her stomach before tackling whatever tasks were expected of them for this mission, after all surely only a fool would skip breakfast before an adventure. Her violin would be gathered back from her companion then, the item now safely slung to Lúthien's back, before she scanned the area for the blue tent that the man had mentioned in his note.

* * * * *

"'Sup Zel~!" It wasn't hard to find the easily discernible mane of red hair that her target possessed as the pair of elves finally reached the blue tent, a wave given to accompany her words before Lúthien spotted a familiar purple creature with the human. "Oh, Kyra too! Been a while since I've seen the both of you."

She joined the pair in the queue to get some food, taking a moment to carefully eye the options as the blonde slowly figured out what she wished to order before her turn finally rolled up. Tea was certainly a must, and she was happy to see that an Irish Breakfast like blend of Black tea was present as one of the options.

"No milk or cream on it, just a dollop of honey instead please~"

Selecting her meal actually took a bit longer, with all the breakfast options present being absolutely tantalizing for the blonde, but eventually Lúthien settled for the Crunchy Waffles. Whipped cream served as a soft bed for a mix of fruits, before a generous amount of dark chocolate flakes were sprinkled atop and finished with a drizzle of honey.

Her gaze was pulled from Zelrius, as another mentioned her name. The conversation they'd been having - if it could be called that, she'd spent the last few minutes admonishing the redheaded individual in an attempt to convince him to be more careful - had been put on pause as Kyra turned to find the blonde Elf from their time in Redchron.

"Lothlorien...no, wait....Luthien, right? How've you been? I shouldn't be surprised to see you here, but it is a nice surprise, I'd say! It'll be nice to have someone along to keep this one-"

She shoved a finger into Zelrius's chest, tilting her head towards the man at the same time. She grinned as she did so, before stepping away from Zelrius and sliding into a spot at the table on the opposite side. Her eyes remained on the others, even as her nose seemed to twitch - as if taking in the smell of the food.

Her eyes finally dropped to the plate on the table in front of her - filled with a collection of meat-based foods, and obviously a dish that Kyra had brought for herself. The smell of green tea hovered over the small glass cup placed at the top of the plate, mixing with the scents of bacon, sausages, pork strips, potatoes in varies forms, and a small collection of other goodies.

"Jester! I've missed you, it's good to see you again! Are you coming along as well for the whole find-the-king-adventure?"

Her ears twitched in excitement as she caught sight of the magical girl that seemed to be tagging along with Luthien. She patted the seat beside her, smiling at Jester as she did so, waiting patiently for the two to take a seat.

Yu picked up the vanilla flavored coffees and handed Unmei hers before taking a sip from his own before pulling back suddenly. "Tsk, ah. That's fuckin' hot."

"Yeah, obviously, they just brewed it. You should've waited a second," Unmei chided Yu for the second time that day. Yu just rolled his eyes as he took another cautious sip, this time very careful not to scald his tongue. It was pretty good. Better than he expected actually. The roast was nice. Medium, higher caffeine content, dark enough to please the crazy old men who wanted it black. Good choice for a camp with limited access to supplies.

"Let's go find that lecture on magitech," Yu said after sucking air through his teeth, the coffee still to hot to drink without some amount of pain. "The more we know about what we're facing, the better."

"Yeah, sounds good. I think they said it's taking place just a couple tents over."

Nodding to his partner, Yu turned and started to walk out of the mess, only to pause when he spotted a strangely familiar head of purple hair and matching purple cat ears. "Kyra?" Yu said, stopping at the table's end. "What are you doing here?" She wasn't with the scouting party, Yu would've definitely recognized her name on the team roster if she was. If Kyra was here though, that could only mean one of two things. A lot of people needed medical attention, or they were about to. Neither of which boded well.

There was only so much time to spend in camp, and only so many vouchers. Zelrius stared at his one, blankly for a moment, looking to the others who were all disembarking from their carriages and other parties. The familiar blonde hair of Luthien rounding her horse gave him another visage. For a brief moment, everything seemed to fly away, the scenery of camp hope becoming that of a long, endless field. One significantly lower resolution than the high end tech of Terrasphere, but with the contrast turned up to 10. Where all the colors bled together. 'Let's log off for now. Go get something to eat.' The echo of her voice. He couldn't take it anymore, the man turned away quickly. Grounding himself with a long stare back at the camp.

It wasn't good enough. He needed something else. It was early. Breakfast. Breakfast! He turned to head to the mess hall that had to be somewhere in town. His mind becoming alexithymic, craving a hundred, cringey words to just string together in order to banish the memories. His UI was open, a message being typed to all the people he had recognized among those who were arriving this morning.

Zelrius
I am starved after the long travel. Wanna come down and get something to eat? A second to catch up, hang out?

That message being repeated and sent to those he knew. @Kyra Vashtana @Luthien @Ueno Mizuki @Jin @Seto Kurama @Ilusa Nakhalee and @Jester .

---

It wasn't long until the familiar purple ears and tail of Kyra had joined him. By then, the man had already ordered his stack of berried pancakes and was sipping on a glass of milk, with another of water being placed by him by one of the kitchen staff. A nod of thank you to whoever it was, noting the sheer amount of sizziling, clattering, and washing that was going on behind the main serving area. "They really are running them ragged today." He mentioned to the companion that was present.

He was stopped short by seeing Luthien again. This time, sucking in a sharp breath after whatever it was he was about to continue talking about with the foxgirl. There was a way out, a way to drown the intrusive thoughts. Sink them into the depths, to not be such a fucking buzzkill anymore. He'd just have to talk over them. "Hey to you Luthien! How was your journey? -It was pretty bumpy in our wagon, I really don't know about you guys." Amping up the chatter. Words are the best fluid. He didn't even take breaths inbetween. It was working, running himself out of air. Only getting a moment to suck in and end up coughing to himself quietly, his lungs desperately finding oxygen while another approached their table, a dark haired man who seemed to know Kyra directly. Relieved to find something else to focus his eyes on for a second. Even if he was busy trying to catch his breath and not put pancake chunks down the wrong hole in his throat.

Invited along by Luthien, the magicless magician followed the other elf along to get food, though with a bit of a delay from wanting to stretch out her legs and powers both after such a long ride. On the way to the food line, she got a bit distracted as she saw several other people she knew, and apparently Luthien knew as well. Rather than join her in greeting them right away, she tried not to look. It was difficult to openly tell though since her bubbly demeanor and excited energy usually elicited her attention being in many places, but for once she didn't want to. It wasn't anything bad necessarily, but at the same time...

Well, that monologue would come later. Maybe. For now, [Cocoa Milk] and [Fluffy Pancakes] had been acquired, although for the UI-Locked Jester, it really was more like cocoa milk and pancakes topped with berries, syrup, and white chocolate glaze. Her morning on course, she finally joined the others with a grin as bright as the sun. Figuratively. She's no Celestine yet.

"Good morrow, familiar faces, thou legends and fables! May a humble Jester join you at these unfamiliar tables?"

It seemed so, as Kyra patted the spot next to her. Not being a picky sort, she sat down with a content shrug and looked to the red-haired man across the table diagonally in front of her. "By the way, I never caught your name. Would it be something that I could now claim?" She giggled softly before taking a triangular bite of pancake and strawberry into her mouth. If there was one upside to not logging out, it was that Terrasphere had some of the most strangely good cooking.

Lothlorien...?

She couldn't help a faint chuckle at the completely wrong mispronunciation of her name by the fox, giving her a grin along with a soft shrug of her shoulders in response. "My League mentor requested it... and I got an offer I couldn't say no to~" She had made sure of it too, Lúthien was aware of the precarious situation her mentor was on and the blonde understood the worth of her time.

Once her food was ready she joined the others by the table, Jester having already slid into the open spot besides Kyra, and the blonde placed her tray besides that of Zelrius as she took the seat besides the redhead. It was then her ears picked up on something, the sound of someone taking a sharp inhale to her right, and a curious side glanze was given to the pyromancer as the elf sat down... though she was kind enough to not bring the topic up as the man was switching gears.

"Honestly someone needs to figure out a way to make wagons more comfortable... they're terrible for long travel right now."

The mug with warm tea was soon on her hands, the blonde blowing towards the contents softly to try and aid in cooling them faster—not that it ever truly worked. She had been about to take an experimental sip to test the temps when the appearance of a raven-haired figure caught the elf completely off guard, the man standing besides Kyra immediately bringing back a flood of sweet summer memories from the Mega Summerfest she had attended back in June.

". . . !"

Her eyes quickly fluttered back to her plate of food, the elf aware of the heat that suddenly rose to her cheeks, before she risked a cautious (in her mind) second glance towards the man... he really did look just like him, but surely no one would be that foolish to make a carbon copy of themselves into an in-game avatar for an illegal game? Quietly her gaze shifted to Kyra then, and suddenly that thought wasn't as far-fetched as Lúthien originally thought... though the girl had at least, changed her height enough where Lúthien had missed making the connection back in New York.

It was then she finally realized he was accompanied by another, a girl with long dark hair, and it caused a pit in her stomach as the elf chose to stare intently at her mug of tea. It's probably not him... She attempted to reason with herself, after all no hints towards this game had ever been present in their conversations, but the attempt was a poor one at best.

< ... Ari? >

So she did the one thing Lúthien could think of, her eyes quietly focusing on the man before her consciousness reached out softly with an inquiry. The mug had been brought close to her lips during the mindsent message, the elf pretending to drink as she awaited to see any possible reaction her action might've earned.

Sitting in the corner with his chair leaned up against one of the pillars that held up the mess hall's portion of the enormous blue tent, he was taking a sip of his green tea while reading a page out of his old novel when he heard a familiar sound that was ingrained into his mind. Placing his copy of Luv Luv Wars down on the barrel he was using as a makeshift table, he lifted his free arm and opened up his U.I, revealing he had a unread message. He batted a eyebrow. Whom would send him a message at this time? Curious, he opened the message, and found himself surprised when he discovered the sender to be none other than Zelrius himself, whom asked him, and presumable everyone else he knew, If they wanted to catch up and eat breakfast together. He initially thought of sending him a message to give him a "heads up" but in the end, he just ended up shrugging before returning to his reading. He was already here, and by far, one of the first players to arrive after that dark toned, high elf girl(Luthien) began volunteering in the kitchen nearby. Zelrius would no doubt see him If he looked hard enough....or maybe not. It wasn't really a concern to him, or more frankly, he didn't really care at the moment. He was past the point in his life where he needed to socialize with friends and/or associates like some young person. While he would often give the impression he was a loner or someone who was anti social, and while that could be true to some extent, he was really just a man that preferred his solitary peace in the morning or right before a mission, all in an attempt to better prepare himself for what would come later. Finding one's inner peace and and having the correct mindset during battle was important to a warrior. Unlike the masses of players he often had to deal with on a near daily basis, he took his role as a warrior & soldier very seriously. He saw this world and it's people more than a mere game. Their lives would often ride on his decisions, and much like the other world, the people he swore to protect had only one life.

Well....that and unlike the others who had arrived here by horseback and carriage, he had traveled here from Falderen entirely on foot while employing his magic for the majority of the time. This understandably made him quite fatigued, although he wouldn't admit that for morale reasons alone, since alot of landers and even some players looked up to him in some way. It was important to keep up one's image, even If he largely no longer cared about such things. So really? It was a no brainer the first thing he do after he was settled in that he would grab something to quench his hunger and soothe his soul. Only fools and idiots would undertake a important assignment without preparing themselves first. That included eating. He wasn't keeping track of the time when Zelrius and Kyra of all people finally showed up. Eyeing the fox girl from the safety of his corner, the urge to whale on her was immense but atlas, he would resist the urge for now, since she was conversing with Zelrius and some others he didn't recognize, no doubt other players. Once he was done, he would remove the two from his mind and return to reading his book and occasionally taking a sip of his tea. Best to leave the youngsters to their own devices...

As Yu had waited for Kyra's response, he'd lifted his mug of coffee to his lips, sipping at steaming beverage. But Kyra hadn't even had a chance to respond when the dark-haired man heard a voice in his head that was not his own.

"...Ari?"

A spray of brown liquid flew from Yu's lips as he spat back out the coffee in his mouth, right into Kyra's face before the man started coughing. 'What the fuck?'

That hadn't just been his in-game handle, that had been his real name. Reaching into his coat, Yugam pulled out his revolver and stared at it intently. "Was it you?" the man thought, attempting to telepathically communicate with the weapon in the same manner he did Unmei, only to get no response from the iron.

Unmei delivered a firm slap to Yu's arm with the back of her hand, shaking his head at him. "No, not that one," she spoke to him in his mind, before slowly shifting her gaze. "That one." Yu's eyes followed Unmei's gaze until his eyes settled on the blonde elf at the end of the table.

Yu's eyes darted back to Unmei's for a moment before holstering his pistol again, and turning to Kyra. "I'm so sorry," he apologized, "I'll go get some napkins or towels really quick to help clean up, I'll be right back!" he promised before quickly speeding off.

Now who in the fuck was that?

Shock. That was what she felt, as she sat there, the brown liquid dripping down the side of her face. For a moment, she didn't move, and then slowly, ever so slowly, her hand drifted down towards the !scythe at her hip. She fought the urge to cry, the few tears that broke through sliding down her face alongside the hot beverage that had burned her skin slightly.

She stopped her hand as it touched the scythe's handle, staying herself against what would likely be a horrible decision. Her stupor broken as Yugam apologised, disappearing to collect something to help clean up the mess he'd made.

Her gaze slowly shifted towards the blonde Elf that the other individual had been looking at. Calmly, with a neutral tone in her voice, she commented towards Yugam.

"Care to explain exactly what in the nine fucking hells that was about?"

She waited, patiently, for Yugam to return with the towels, before ripping them from his hand and cleaning off her skin. She kept her gaze on Luthien the entire time, a burning fury behind her eyes as she waited for an explanation, her ears flattened against the top of her head as her tail stood straight out behind her, the fur standing on end.

She had expected a reaction, yes, just not that string of reactions. The man suddenly spat out the mouthful of coffee he'd been about to drink (and onto Kyra no less) before a hand reached into his coat, pulling out a revolver of all things that he'd then stared very intently at. The blonde elf barely managed to avoid snorting a laughter right into the mug of tea she'd been holding so close to her lips, feeling guilty for catching the purple fox in the cross fire but also amused by Yugam's reaction... that is until she noticed the piercing gaze the woman besides the hemomancer had given Lúthien.

Oh... fuck.

Lúthien had thought she had been clever with her little mindsend, thinking it would've been untraceable to those present, but it seemed she had miscalculated the capabilities of the woman accompanying Yugam. His own eyes had also fallen on her next, earning the elf a good long stare, before he turned to Kyra with an apology as he rushed away to get something that would allow Yugam to clean the mess created.

"Care to explain exactly what in the nine fucking hells that was about?"
"I don't k-know what you're t-talking about...?"

The sudden fury behind Kyra's eyes had been unexpected, although totally warranted, and it caused the elf to sweat nervously in response. She felt absolutely terrible now, and a part of her definitely wanted to apologize to the woman, but considering the intensity behind Yugam's stare moments before Lúthien wasn't quite sure she wanted to outright admit she'd been the cataclysmic source that had detonated the current predicament.

< I-I'm sorry, Kyra! I'll explain later, I swear!!! >

An apologetic look was given at the fox along with her mental message, the tip of her elven ears turning a bright shade of red, before the blonde looked away in a random direction as she carefully tried to sip some of her tea.

Mizuki raised an eyebrow as she read the message she'd received from Zelrius out of the blue. She'd seen him at the camp of course, but given that they were busy with different tasks she'd kind of forgotten about him after she'd turned her full focus to returning for the scouting task she'd be part of later today. Her skillset was suitable for the job, but it was important to be careful. To be a scout meant that you headed into dangerous territory with potentially no backup at all, and had to rely on cautious decision-making to keep the risks to a minimum.

She felt like the atlas was a good purchase towards that goal, even if the maps weren't entirely up to date. Just because you were a scout didn't mean you couldn't use maps. In fact, scouts probably got more use out of maps than the people who came after them.

But the scouting mission wasn't scheduled to start until a bit later in the day, so she had time to answer Zelrius's message and attend this get-together. She didn't know who else would be attending, but knowing Zelrius there'd be some colourful individuals. There were a lot of new faces, and it couldn't hurt to get to know some of them.

She'd hand Cleo the atlas and tell her friend that she'd be back in a little bit before heading off. She figured that the officer would want the opportunity to study the maps before they set out for the scouting mission.

When she arrived at the tent where all the food was being served it didn't take long for her to spot the table where Zelrius and his friends were seated. At the moment it looked like one of them, a vulpine with an unusual fur colour, was trying to clean herself off after someone had spilt coffee on her. She wasn't looking very happy either, and... Yugam was there as well, looking guilty which most likely made him the culprit.

Zelrius, meanwhile... Mizuki sniffed the air as she caught his scent. He looked different from before, but his scent remained the same. But his scent told her that the man was feeling stressed, and he wasn't getting involved in the shenanigans around the violet vixen.

Mizuki stood there flanked by her two wolves, considering whether she should join the group or wait for the tension to have cleared when she spotted @Seto Kurama sitting by himself nearby. She'd greeted him earlier today, but since the two of them had been busy the conversation hadn't lasted long. Deciding to leave the busy table be for the moment the luna wolf approached the dark-haired human, her wolves following her closely.

Hello again. I hope I'm not interrupting your reading. (She turned her head towards the table where the other Travelers were generating quite the atmosphere.) I got called here by Zelrius, but it seems he and his friends are busy.

That said, given that @Zelrius seemed to be uncomfortable at the moment she decided to use her primal aura to contact him wordlessly. The directed primal message would inform the redhead of Mizuki's arrival and her current position next to Seto.

"Care to explain exactly what in the nine fucking hells that was about?" Kyra said to the man, her voice dripping with perfectly deserved venom.

For a moment, Yu didn't respond, simply meeting her gaze with a cool stare. "Just more questions to be answered," he responded after a moment, reaching back to their first meeting in Lyrwick before darting off to collect some napkins and towels.

Returning a minute or two later, with towels in hand, Yu handed one to Kyra, to allow her to clean up her own body while he began to wipe down the table, the cloth in his hand quickly becoming warm as it soaked up the still hot brown liquid that had pooled across the surface.

"Sorry about that," he apologized to the beastfolk again. As he moved aside some bowls and cups, only to replace them a moment later.

When they'd both done their respective jobs, Yu picked his mug up off the table again, and held his hand out for Kyra to hand him back the dirty towel for him to dispose of it. "I've gotta get goin', but if you're still in camp when we get back, we should catch up," he said to the girl, before looking at the others at the table, nodding a 'hello/good-bye' before heading off, throwing the towels in a 'to wash' bin before exiting the mess.

Kyra's eyes hadn't diverted from Luthien as she spoke, even as her question had been aimed at another. Still, the response from the Elf had brought a bit of confusion into her mind, making her wonder what exactly was going on. Wait did she think I was talking to-

Yugam had returned with the cloth quickly, giving another apology even as he tried to help clean up. She'd quickly worked to clean herself up, before handing the piece back to the outstretched hand. Her mouth opened, ready to question the Elf's sudden stammering statement, when something else occurred.

Kyra leapt off her chair with a yelp as a voice - did it sound familiar? - suddenly spoke in her mind, causing her to stumble backwards. Her eyes darted around wildly, looking for the source even as her ears twitched atop her head. Her hand had drifted towards the scythe, every nerve in her body tense with alertness.

Nothing seemed to move at her, although she could almost feel the questioning gazes of the others, likely wondering if she'd gone mad. I'm hearing voice and questioning whether I've gone mad or not... A quick shake of her head, which in turn caused a shiver down her body to the tip of her tail, similar to that of a dog. Glancing around, she gave a apologetic look at everyone, before righting her chair and settling herself again.

"Sorry...delayed reaction, right?"

Delayed reaction? Really? Wow, you're a brilliant liar. The scowled at her own self-reflection, before staring at the Elf again, that question burning once more.

From the moment he had appeared it seemed that Lúthien was now intent on screwing up one thing after another. First she had thought herself clever when the elf had decided to mindsend the hemomancer, the blonde failing to anticipate how very fucking weird and creepy the action itself could be for another. When Kyra's eyes never left her Lúthien had made a second blunder, blurting out a response to an inquiry that hadn't been hers in the first place... and, for the cherry on top, her third mistake had been a repeat of the first.

Fuck...!

Lúthien's cheeks instantly began to burn as they flushed in embarrassment, watching as Kyra yelped before stumbling backwards shortly after the elf had mindsent the woman a message. Her gaze immediately shot downwards, the mug of tea in her hands suddenly becoming the most interesting thing in the world for the elf, even as she could feel the warmth of her cheeks spreading towards her ears.

"I've gotta get goin', but if you're still in camp when we get back, we should catch up."

She was sure of it, that was his voice, and it was this very thing that caused the elf to look upwards once more as the man excused himself from their table. A brief glance was given to the others in the table before he and the woman exited the mess, the elf following the pair with her gaze until they had both stepped out of sight.

For several more minutes, he enjoyed his peace and quiet, using that time to continue his reading, drinking his tea and even begin studying some various maps and drawing he had picked up earlier, when his sixth sense for danger suddenly triggered, forcing him to drop whatever he was going in favor of surveying the surroundings for whatever possible threat had appeared. After a few seconds tilting his head in both directions, using his eyes to scan the massive blue tent and it's mess hall, this quickly culminated in the form of two timber looking wolves. In response, he was about to materialize his blade when he saw a familiar tail followed by a familiar face in between the two. Once he realized It was just his companion, @Ueno Mizuki and her two wolves, he couldn't help but make a sigh as the tension in his shoulder dissipated. Still, even with her presence, he decided to ignore her for the time being, given the fact It seemed as If she was going to join the youngsters in their fun. It was a tad surprising considering Mizuki's nature but that was fine, he was going to judge her for trying to fit in with the younger crowd. Mizuki was still in that age demographic after all. He made a shrug before returning to his book. To his shock however, this would become short lived when he suddenly felt not one but three shadow's towering over him. This grabbed his attention, causing him to look up, revealing the shadows to be none other than Mizuki herself and her two wolves. In response, he made a faint smile after she apologized and cited her reasons for being here. He in returned placed his book back on the barrel as he gave her his undisputed attention.

Hmm? No, not at all. In fact, I've read this several times already. My other self enjoyed it quite a fair bit back than.

With his left hand, he made a hand gesture towards his companion to grab a chair and take a seat at his makeshift table, If you could even call it that.

Please, by all means, take a seat. I'm not so mean or anti social enough to turn away a friend...or their companions.

While he waited for Mizuki to make her decision, he than picked up his tea cup in one hand and held the plate underneath it with another. For a moment, he took a tip of his green tea before turning his attention back to Mizuki, still holding the tea cup in one hand while the other held up the plate underneath it.

Not surprising though, young people do like to converse after all. I would much rather prefer spending my time to prepare for the upcoming battle no doubt. We wouldn't be here otherwise...

After he gave his own two scents on the matter, he had than remembered all the cussing he he had heard moments ago. Luckily for the two, they already departed, as If they had already knew they the damage they had cause but @Kyra Vashtana? Oh no, she was still here, and that was enough to earn his ire. He tried keeping calm at her presence here but after all that? That broke the camel's back. Grabbing a few pieces of ruined parchment, he quickly crumbled them up into a singular ball and threw it at her. If It got her attention, he give her the equivalent of a "death" stare.

Language Kyra....Or do you need to be disciplined like a child?....And don't think I've forgotten about you being here......This is no place for someone like you...

Facepalming quite a bit, he sighed again before he eventually returned to Mizuki, now with a more relaxed expression. He wasn't free from cussing but at least he tried to be civil when not in combat.

She was still scowling at the Elf, when something hit the back of her head. Kyra spun in her chair, just in time to see Seto calling out to her, his words about as friendly as his expression. A split second consideration of talking back to the man, correcting him, proving her worth, before she simply stuck her tongue out and pulled down her left eyelid.

"Come join a collection of real capable Starcalled...if you're man enough!"

Turning back to her own table, Kyra squinted at Luthien again, before asking the question she'd been about to speak before being interrupted.

"So uh...any plans for the rest of the day...?"

Really nailing this whole subtle investigative and reactionary work...real professionally done... She scowled herself internally even as she beamed a smile at Luthien, trying to come across friendly and welcoming.

"If not...then I wouldn't mind hanging out for a bit, maybe talking about things. If you've got the time, that is..."

Zelrius sat for a polite amount of time while the other's discussed. Kyra's finger being ultimately removed from his chest, and Luthien making herself acquainted. He never did get the chance to introduce himself to the man who had shown up. The redhead's blue eyes were only able to linger on him for a second, and see the red connection between his heart and mind. A Crimson highway that was overlaid above his clothing and body. As well as the violet 'atmosphere' hovering just above his body. A Hemomancer and Animancer. Someone who reminded him of Jin. And then he was gone, off to attend to his duties with his party. For a moment, he frowned, wondering if he'd get the chance to meet @Yugam again.

His attention shifted to the arriving Jester. Another blonde elf, though normally he'd be taken aback by the appearance and memory of one, there was something off. Something new about @Jester - The suffocating aura of darkness that just barely hung off her frame. "Dark Magic?" He was able to ask out loud with a tilt of his head to the woman. First Dynamism, now this. She sure was getting a hang of some of the more difficult masteries pretty quickly! Cheery and bright, Zelrius tried his best to stifle a grin too wide. Trying his hardest not to be too happy to see her again. "Oh, I am called Zelrius, here." Letting it sit there for a moment, blinking. The other half of his own rhyme formulating after a few moments. "My username in TerraSphere?" Did that work? Using here twice, technically. How did she always come up with such perfect rhymes?

He was going to ask her to come along, but a shudder down his spine confirmed what he had seen out of the corner of his eye while Kyra was talking earlier. Mizuki had joined them, much to his delight. The two hadn't been able to properly talk in over four years. Every chance they had seemed to just disappear, or get interrupted by something else dramatic happening. "Hey Jester, there's some people I want you to meet." Not remembering to rhyme it this time, but turning around to face a more unfamiliar table, with a more familiar face.

There she was, the Canine woman. Her mismatched eyes and wild aura. His first real friend in perhaps half a decade. Zelrius stood, to make his way over to them, gesturing for Jester to come along. "Long time no see. I think not since the Kurungaar?" They had fought the golem and that godforsaken insect mother together. Though he had seen her seating companion much sooner than that. With the catgirls and the interdimensional portal. "You, not so much, eh?" He joked with @Seto Kurama

A moment where the pyromancer tried to fight off sentimentality. And the way it made him instantly emotional, just to see these people again. People who genuinely seemed to like him, or atleast, didn't mock him regularly. That was, until he remembered that Jester would be new to the two, and an introduction would be way better than crying.

"Oh, Jester. This is Mizuki and Seto. I knew them from before the shut down. Mizuki here is one hell of a fighter and tracker. Seto is much more refined in that aspect." He blinked. He came here with Seto, so his mission was clear. But what were these other two even doing? "Speaking of. What did you two come for?" Asking between the women, and looking to Seto with a raised eyebrow to see if he knew anything.

A faint sigh escaped her lips as the elf turned back to the food on her tray, her initial hunger now suddenly vanished, before she felt the intense scowl that the fox sitting diagonally across from Lúthien shot her way. A nervous smile slowly appeared on her face in response, unsure of what to do or say, before something bopped the beastfolk on the head from nowhere.

"What the...?"

She glanced at the crumbled up parchment ball that bounced off Kyra's head to land in the middle of the table, an eyebrow raised in response before Lúthien leaned herself just enough to catch sight of the blue haired player not too far off... eyebrows raised in surprise as he proceeded to chide Kyra for language of all things.

"And don't think I've forgotten about you being here... this is no place for someone like you..."

There was a scowl on the blonde's face at the unexpected words, her fists balling into fists, before the words of Zelrius towards Jester cut through the tension. A glance was sent in Kyra's direction, noticing how the fox seemed to ignore the situation, before deciding it was probably not worth causing a scene as Lúthien began to pick at her breakfast.

"So uh...any plans for the rest of the day...?"
"Ah, uhm, probably going to check out the camp and see where I can h-help..."
"If not...then I wouldn't mind hanging out for a bit, maybe talking about things. If you've got the time, that is..."

Lúthien had just brought he mug of black tea close to her lips then, the elf almost choking on the contents with Kyra's next words, before a nervous chuckle escaped her throat.

"Y-Yeah...! That sounds good, Kyra. I, uuuh, have to go get something first, but we can meet up after and c-chat...?"

"Dark Magic?"

What a strange name! Jester gave a cheery if not slight nod of affirmation. She decided to leave the details in the ether for now, since she was already as unimpressive as they came by word alone. Despite her frequent use of wordplay, her actions definitely spoke louder of her capabilities. Well, obviously. Accomplishments were the things you did, not talked about doing. Thankfully, both this man and the purple-haired girl whose name was apparently Kyra could vouch for Jester and her efforts.

More importantly, she finally had a name to call this man by: @Zelrius. As he blinked at her, she blinked a couple times back; morse code was dead, but being silly is forever. As the redhead's rhyme landed, Jester's eyes widened, and her smile only grew. She brought curled fingers up in front of her face and began to giggle, and this gleeful fit of hers continued even as Zelrius turned to greet his old friends.

To think they'd been on Terrasphere before it went down. She had only vaguely heard of the game before being effectively reborn within its world, so most of her understanding of the shut down was from the perspective of a lander gently laced with the context that Terrasphere was technically a video game to the Starcalled. In other words, this shut down was the Day of Disappearance. That raised a pretty important question for Jester all of a sudden.

The elf gave an energetic wave to each of @Seto Kurama and @Ueno Mizuki as she was introduced to them. "To sit among such time-honored Starcalled, I don't think I could even be more enthralled!" She looked each of them over with quick and analytical eyes, meanwhile she sipped her milk and hummed softly in satisfaction. "So which side were you three on after the Day of Disappearance? Hopefully your setups merely suffered interference." She tiptoed the blatancy that could have come with such a topic. After all, asking someone if they were dead or not was a pretty forward thing to do.

Kyra's eyes lingered on Luthien for a brief second, before she nodded. She wasn't sure why the other had her so...interested. Probably the fault of that woman who had been with Yugam...only logical reasoning. True, the woman had seemed intent that Luthien was somehow involved in the whole incident mere moments ago. Is it possible that Luthien caused it?

Kyra almost laughed aloud at the thought. She knew that magic was quite the feature in this game, but doubted that there was anything that would allow a player to cause such a ruckus, at least not without everyone else noticing that they had caused it.

"Yeah...I'd like to meet up afterwards, if you're up for it!"

She beamed a smile at Luthien, before turning to look at Zelrius - the man deep in conversation with Jester. For a few moments, Kyra continued eating her food, while half-listening to the conversation. The two seemed well into the conversation, and it wouldn't be right for Kyra to intervene, not just yet. She saw her opportunity, however, once Jester's attention was turned towards some others.

"So...Zelrius...going to take things a little bit less...flashy, this time around? I may not be around to get you back on your feet this time."

She gave a wink and a smile at the man, conveying her poorly worded joke and hoping that he picked up on her humour.
