"Everyone says there's no such thing as bad publicity…" Valeria said, pausing to think. "Pfft, yeah, well, whoever said that is a fucking idiot," the man answered back with a humorous scoff. Seriously, at this point, cancel culture should've made that very clear. But, then again, there were always some dumbasses out there.

"That'd be one hell of comeback, I'll tell ya what," the man chuckled. "Imagine, a five year old song suddenly coming back from the dead, and all the old fans demanding the group get back together. Geez." The man shrugged. "Stranger things have happened though, I guess."

She'd laughed at him when he'd asked her not to film him, countering with a, "I don't get to see you—the real you—often, so this is perfect~"
"Yeah, well the real me has undereye bags worse than the one's I got in-game," the very tired Ari joked back as the girl stuck her tongue out at him childishly. Despite her resistance though, she put away her phone without any further cajoling from Ari as he slipped his hand from hers to listen to a particularly annoying pinkette's voice message.

"Pretty sure that's something siblings say about one another all the time." Valeria replied, as she too heard the two girl's voices. "God, please don't say that. I can't even believe we're the same species, let alone wanting to think about sharing a gene pool with her," the man answered, putting both hands back on the wheel.

"And we have arrived," the man said as they pulled into the house's driveway, parking beside the blue mustang. Turning off the engine, Ari stepped out of the car, rolling his shoulders and stretching slightly before noticing that Nico was still sitting in the car. "What's up with her?" he asked Dayeon, looking at her with a raised brow.

There was silence. Silence that incriminated Dayeon moreso than her words did. No matter how she sees it, Nico can't get around the idea there's more to it than met the eye with everyone. Ari, Val, Theo, Ronja, herself- Everyone in Terrasphere had a reason for their reasons. For instance: the golden-eyed 'Moonsong' she punched back at the inn.

Questions for later, as neither of them had enough time left on their little private chat as the weak mustang parked over, and Nico pulled down the window just to stick her head out.

"Why? It's pretty cool out here."
"What's up with her?"

"Seriously, I'm the only one getting heatstrokes out here? You two are reptilians like Facehook's creator, I bet it has something to do with your fucking asian genes."
Nico waved her hand in a harsh gesture back at the pair, disdainful, her eyes went straight for Val instead. "Tell me you are normal unlike these two, Val." Nico giggled as she shared glances to the other two. So far the blonde has been the most normal person around here, so certainly this means she is also a bit bothered by the weather, right?

As she leaned on the side of the car to take a selfie, the sounds of the grandpa's mustang could be heard approaching, before the car itself appeared and parked beside the blue one. Ari came out of the car and stretched his body before asking about the pinkette currently hiding in the car.

"What's up with her?"

"Michin yeoja,"
She shrugged while chuckling, before raising her arms to feel the cool wind. "Heatstroke, seriously? This is times better than in Boston."

"Anyway, let's go drop off our luggage. So you can rest your puffy eyes."
Dayeon stretched before lifting her luggage from the backseat with a grunt. "How's the drive around Hawaii, Val?" She asked the blonde while passing through the side of the red mustang while joking. "Told you we won't die that easily."

She pulled her own luggage, stopping at the front door to wait for everyone.

"Could you imagine though? A Slime Girls comeback," It wasn’t often that bands and groups got back together after their members went their own way—but not exactly unheard of either. After all, she still remembered all the fuzz that had gone on the last decade or so when My Chemical Romance had done that very same thing. Why, they’d even gone on tour! "All because Dee got pulled over and given a speeding ticket in Hawai~"

"Yeah, well the real me has undereye bags worse than the one's I got in-game."
"And that’s why the real you is gonna try really really hard to get a nap in while we go get groceries."

A soft smile pulled at her lips as her attention turned back to Ari then, before a light laughter left her lips upon hearing the man’s words when Valeria commented he and Nico acted like siblings. "C’mon, it can’t be thaaat bad," Sure the pinkett seemed to be out to get him extra hard today of all days, but maybe that was only because Nico was too excited to be in a brand new place?

"And we have arrived," he announced just as the Mustang turned to park beside the blue convertible, the top of the other vehicle already up and a familiar head of pink hair still inside the vehicle. Dayeon had already exited the car, the idol now leaning against the side of it to take a selfie just as the engine of the red Mustang powered off.

"What's up with her?"
"Everything alright, Nico?"

It was then the pinkett finally lowered the window enough to poke her head out of the vehicle, admonishing both Ari and Dayeon before her eyes settled on Valeria next. "Tell me you are normal unlike these two, Val." The blonde couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped her, a small shrug of her shoulders given in response.

"It’s not too different from Puerto Rico… so long as the breeze keeps blowing it should be enjoyable." Hands carefully combed over her hair as the girl moved towards the back of the red Mustang, untangling any knots the wind might’ve caused as they drove towards the AirBnB. "Can’t say I missed the humidity though."

The trunk popped open before Valeria reached in for the easier to grab backpack she’d passed as carry-on through her flight, but before the girl could reach for either suitcase inside her attention was pulled away by Dayeon.

"How's the drive around Hawaii, Val?"

"Pretty good actually, managed to record a few bits and pieces here and there while we listened to music~" A teasing smile was given to the older woman as the blonde held out her phone on one hand, giving Dayeon a wink before the woman’s next words caused Val to chuckle. "I’m glad planning a funeral for the both of you isn’t the first thing I need to do in Hawaii—though I’m honestly surprised a cop didn’t stop you for being a little speed demon."

"And that's why the real you is gonna try really really hard to get a nap in while we go get groceries."
"Yes mom,"
the man replied, rolling his eyes, but chuckling softly. The sense of normalcy between the two was returning. Slowly, but it was there, the easy way of speaking, idle glances, looks, each action dismantling the anxiety that had risen between them.

"
Michin yeoja," Dayeon answered to Ari, who only gave her a deadpan look in response. "Yeah, sorry, I only know like three words in Korean, and they're all insults, I think." His Greek on the other hand, fluent. Most people gave him a simultaneously confused and impressed look whenever they heard him speak the language the first time, having never expected to meet a Greek speaking Asian.

The man turned glanced at Nico again though, who was still cowering in the car like they were standing on the surface of the sun. "The apartment is warmer than this, how in the fuck are you fine with that, but having a heatstroke out here?" And she called him a lizard.

"It's not too different from Puerto Rico… so long as the breeze keeps blowing it should be enjoyable," Valeria answered the reptile disguised as a human, resulting in Ari giving Nico a smirk that said 'See? You're the weird one here.'

Ari started pulling the luggage out of the trunk as Val and Dayeon started to chat. Like friends. The wheels of their suitcases struck the ground with a loud clatter before Ari waved them all towards the house. "Ela, you guys can chat inside. Keys should be under the doormat."

Between Dayeon speaking ching chong and Ari having a brainfart moment as his asian genes fail him at the most crucial of times, Nico's attention went over to the normal humanoid being from this group, and possibly the smartest of the bunch here: Val.

"The apartment is warmer than this, how in the fuck are you fine with that, but having a heatstroke out here?"
"Everything alright, Nico?"
Who actually asked her the most sensible question here!
"Yeah, just trying to get used to the weather here." She replied just as she dragged herself out of the car and awaited for the third and arguably most important opinion with bubbling excitement, almost completely ignoring Ari's bitchery besides acknowledging it. He had his say, and obviously it was against hers, but Val would be the tie breaker here.

"It's not too different from Puerto Rico… so long as the breeze keeps blowing it should be enjoyable,"

An acceptable answer from her. So long as it DID keep blowing that is, and just then her content twisted into contempt as reptile fuckboy got oh so smug...

"Val is just being nice with your sorry ass. We are even." The not reptilian pinkette added, bitting down on her teeth, as she marched towards him to pick up her luggage away off his hands. "Here, let me help." As naturally calm as she is mad, switching from one side to another when it came to him. Is this what having a brother is like? She had no clue, her own didn't talk to her ever past a certain point. Ari's the closest to that experience she might get.

'Nah fuck it.' Taking all that off her mind right now, Nico tagged along, one ear lended over to the conversation the other two were having, already cozy as if nothing had happened between them.

"-Though I'm honestly surprised a cop didn't stop you for being a little speed demon."
"We are going all back in the same car next time. Don't let Day on the wheel."
She chuckled, stopping just short of the doormat to kneel down and lift it up, making sure to get a hold of the keys, pushing one in and- nope, wrong one.

Then a second one went into the keyhole. "Fuck." She cussed under her breathe. Third time's the charm though, relief washing over her: Just one more and she would have kicked the door down and made Ari pay for it. "Home sweet home!"

"Pretty good actually, managed to record a few bits and pieces here and there while we listened to music~"

She paused, before looking at the woman she shared a car with. "Nico, I can't believe you didn't take pics or videos of the beautiful views." The pink gremlin spent most of the time on the ride either cowering, lecturing her, or throwing insults. Or at least selfies of them in the cool car.

"—though I'm honestly surprised a cop didn't stop you for being a little speed demon."

"I wasn't speeding that fast. Also, who knows, they might be more lenient to a cute Korean idol."

Dayeon protested, before making a sulky face with her finger poking her own cheek.

"Yeah, sorry, I only know like three words in Korean, and they're all insults, I think." Hearing that one actually got her thinking. The man certainly looks Asian, but he speaks Greek. "... Wait, are you ethnically Korean?"

"We are going all back in the same car next time. Don't let Day on the wheel."

"Now you're the grandma, Nico. What happened to the 'fun car'?"
Teasing the pinkette turned out to be a fun activity, especially as she wasn't as big and intimidating as in the game. "Home sweet home!" Nico opened the door, prompting Dayeon to go inside with her luggage.

"Woah, pretty nice." The idol exclaimed as she looked around. The pair of dark eyes then spotted a couch, "Time for a couch check." She jumped on the couch, moaning as she finally relaxed herself after the hour-long drive. "Ah, very nice. I'm just gonna lie here for a while."

Little by little things were starting to fall into place, and while the blonde wouldn’t delude herself into thinking everything was back to normal at least she was finding it was all slightly easier to navigate. After all, this had been her choice in the end—one that she’d been aware would be hard to follow through with, but not impossible. She couldn’t help the light snicker when Dayeon turned to look at Nico, admonishing the girl for not taking any pics or vids while they drove to this place.

"I wasn't speeding that fast.”
"Mhmm... remind me again, how long have you guys been waiting? Almost ten minutes?"
”Also, who knows, they might be more lenient to a cute Korean idol."

The face made by Dayeon at the end earned her a hearty chuckle from the blonde, shaking her head lightly as she spoke. "Funny you should say that, we were talking about how a ticket stop for you could’ve led to the revival of Slime Girls for one last tour." By then all of their luggage had been extracted from the trunks of both vehicles, the sound of the tiny wheels clattering against the ground shifting her attention away from the songstress just as Nico interjected.

"We are going all back in the same car next time. Don't let Day on the wheel."
"Trust me, I wasn’t planning on letting either of you drive to the supermarket."

The man had just pulled her suitcase out of the trunk, sliding it in her direction, just as the pink-haired gremlin rushed towards the door once Ari revealed the super obvious and predictable very secret location of the house keys. "Don’t tell me the door’s winning, Nico." The curse of the pinkett didn’t go unheard, hard to miss it really given the natural volume of Nico’s voice, and Valeria chuckled softly while waiting for Ari.

"Home sweet home!" Finally the woman emerged victorious as the right key was slotted into the lock, opening the front door just as Valeria carefully closed the trunk lid once the man had taken his belongings out. "Woah, pretty nice."

The girl raised an eyebrow towards Dayeon as she stepped inside the AirBnB. "Wait, why are you surprised? Didn’t you rent this?" Soon enough the idol was drifting towards the couch, claiming it for the time being. "Come on Dee, you can rest later. We have to put our stuff away and figure out what groceries we’re getting."

Her eyes scanned the place, it really was rather nice and spacious, before noticing the stairs by the dining table. "I’m guessing the rooms are upstairs, right?"

As soon as Nico saw the look on Ari's face, the woman frowned at him. "Val is just being nice with your sorry ass. We are even."
"Mhmm, sure,"
the man replied with a smirk.

"... Wait, are you ethnically Korean?" Dayeon had asked as soon as they'd finished insulting Nico.
"Hmm? Yeah. And Middle Eastern," the man replied. "Raised by Greek folk though. Weird mix, I know."

The man didn't really hear too much of the rest of the girls' conversations, his exhaustion taking it's toll, resulting with him zoning out as he opened and pulled out all the luggage. Though, as he set the first of the suitcases down on the ground, he did manage to catch one thing.

"I wasn't speeding that fast."
"Mhmm... remind me again, how long have you guys been waiting? Almost ten minutes?"
"Also, who knows, they might be more lenient to a cute Korean idol."

Ari couldn't help but look at Dayeon with narrowed eyes. "Woman you were going like, seventy five. The highways on this island are forty-five. You were criminally speeding, you wouldn't get off with shit if you got caught, no matter how cute or famous you are," the man informed the apparently brainless, blind or both idol. "I'd have laughed."

Nico sped ahead of the others, eagerly grabbing the keys and trying to unlock the door. To no avail. Ari's lips drew themselves into a thin line as he leaned against the wall, waiting for Nico to manage to unlock the door. "Don't tell me the door's winning, Nico." Nope, not that one either. There we go.

"Home sweet home!"

Finally.

"Woah, pretty nice," Dayeon said before she collapsed on the couch, sighing in pleasure as she sank into the soft cushions.

"I'm guessing the rooms are upstairs, right?"
"Yeah, there's three. A master and two smaller rooms,"
the man said, having looked at the AirBnB before they'd come. "I'm gonna go claim one of the smaller ones and pass out," Ari informed the others before starting to lug his suitcase up the stairs.

"Nico, I can't believe you didn't take pics or videos of the beautiful views."
"What."
Nico exclaimed, eyes setting on the culprit of such thoughts, Valeria, yanking her head back to Dayeon. "Sorry I was busy practicing my hawaiian for when they pulled you over. Something like: 'Please help! This lunatic kidnapped me don't fine me!'" Very distressed sounding, waving her hands around with a tint of exaggeration to her motions. "We waited like five minutes, yeah."

With the totally terrible and not cool weather at all wearing her down, the pink warrioress just pulled herself along to the house, hoping they wouldn't mention her if only to keep her lips shut as her energy zapped out of her body. Maybe Ari isn't the only grandpa her- No, this is just heat, this ain't nothing to do with being senile like him!

"Now you're the grandma, Nico. What happened to the 'fun car'?"
"Trust me, I wasn't planning on letting either of you drive to the supermarket."
"Listen, Val's right. You are a psycho at the wheel, and I like fun cars but yours is a one way ticket to a ride on a hearse."
If things came to worst, Dayeon could be used as an airbag with her self proclaimed deep cleavage. But considering Ari's deductions of how fast the idol was going at the track, perhaps not even these would save her from the impact. "If she gets caught, I'm standing on the middle of the road waiting for you so you gotta stop no matter what. Either you pick me up or roll me over and gotta pay my medical expenses." She smiled, a masterful plan that had a loss-loss for Ari, and a win-win for her if she gets to pick what hospital in the first place.

The door, however, didn't count as a win-win, because the bitch wasn't opening at first and by the time it did it was too late, the comments from that blonde head already wounded her pisspoor dignity. "Listen, it's these hawaian keys okay. I was doing it righ- HEY!" Caught at the corner of her eyes is Dayeon doing an olympic couch check.

"Ah, very nice. I'm just gonna lie here for a while."
"Fuck,"
Nico let go of her luggage and stepped into the room, pure determination turned her walk into a sprint as she leaped like a predator towards the couch, falling on top of Dayeon. "-No! That's my bed." Imagine stealing the couch from her.

"Funny you should say that, we were talking about how a ticket stop for you could've led to the revival of Slime Girls for one last tour."

"You wish,"
she smiled, imagining if all five of them could perform again on a stage one last time. The entire universe would implode if that happens.

"Wait, why are you surprised? Didn't you rent this?" Val asked, to which Dayeon responded. "Yeah, but sometimes things aren't as good as the pictures." Sometimes the toilets don't work, the place is a mess, and the kitchen is empty.

"Hmm? Yeah. And Middle Eastern, raised by Greek folk though. Weird mix, I know." The answer surprised her, as she never knew Ari has Korean blood, let alone being half Middle Eastern somehow."You're Mr. Worldwide? You guys know this?"

"Woman you were going like, seventy five."

"Hehe, whoops."
She giggled, caught with her pants down. Actually, it was relieving that Nico didn't film her speeding around Hawaii.

Being as slow as ever, Dayeon beat the pinkette to the couch, causing the girl to land on top of the older woman instead. "-No! That's my bed." She protested. "No, you have a bed upstairs, also we have to go shopping."

She pulled both of Nico's cheeks to get her away from the couch, before getting off herself and dragging her luggage upstairs, settling on the small bedroom near the bathroom. "Dibs this one, then." Placing her suitcase there, the idol went back downstairs to hog the couch again while waiting for the rest of the girls. "What are we cooking today? Anyone up for some spicy chicken?"

"What. Sorry I was busy practicing my hawaiian for when they pulled you over.”

The pinkett’s eyes quickly shifted towards her as Dayeon reprimanded her for not taking pictures and video, causing the blonde to look up to the side at nothing in particular and hum a little tune to herself as she feigned ignorance. It didn’t last long however, Nico’s impression of what she’d done if a cop had pulled them over earned the woman a hearty laugh from Valeria before they all managed to finally get inside the house.

"Okay, that’s fair." Usually what you saw in the pictures was also what you got once you arrived, or at least that had been the case for the limited AirBnB experiences that Val had, but she could see the point the idol was bringing up. "Guess this one met all your expectations and then some, huh?"

"You're Mr. Worldwide? You guys know this?" A soft chuckle escaped the blonde as Ari talked about the rather interesting mix that was himself and his parents. Funnily enough it was one of the very first things that Valeria had learned about him, though the Middle Eastern part had also been surprising news for the girl. "Mhmm, a good portion of the Eastern Hemisphere all in one man~"

Her steps had naturally taken the girl closer to the kitchen area, having placed her suitcase off to the side and away from anyone’s path, with the intent of making an inventory of what cookware was available. Meanwhile Dayeon’s couch inspection was quickly disturbed when the pink gremlin decided to flop right onto the idol, the blonde shaking her head softly as she watched the antics of them both.

"Nico there's rooms, you don’t need to claim the couch as your bed."
"Yeah, there's three. A master and two smaller rooms."
"See? There’s three rooms so stop bothering Dee—"

The words suddenly caught in her throat just as her mind finally caught up with the math, Ari having already disappeared up the stairs to claim one of the smaller rooms above. One, two, three… four. Yeah, there were definitely four of them, so then why were there only three rooms?

"I'm gonna go claim one of the smaller ones and pass out."
"R-Right."
"Dibs this one, then."

Any kitchen inspection had been forgotten as Val reached for her stuff, following the other two up the stairs. She watched Ari disappear into his chosen room with his luggage, before Dayeon pointed at the room beside it and claimed it as her own. Carefully she peered in through the open door of the remaining room, the master by the looks of it, before calling out to the gremlin still below.

"I guess we’re sharing a room Nico… right?"
Please say yes.

"You're Mr. Worldwide? You guys know this?"
"Mhmm, a good portion of the Eastern Hemisphere all in one man~"
"Yeah, he also only has the east half of his brain."

The fact remained that none of them understood what sleeping on a couch was like, and thus they questioned it. Val had mentioned having enough rooms, and Dayeon did so too, at the same time she pulled from her cheeks and had her superiority couch thoughts snapped again with a squeak.

"EHY!-" She couldn't even protest without saying gibberish at the same time, which is precisely what happened, just as she dropped onto the ground with a flat thud, rolling over to stand back up and rub her hands against her abused cheeks. "You damn korean grandma..." Though the korean grandma was right, and they had to go buy something to eat, or more specifically, the ingredients to do so.

Dragging herself back up to her feet, groaning at the thought of having to leave as soon as they settled down and the thought of the HEAT outside working against the idea, Nico took her luggage up when Val yelled back down, not wanting to answer until she was close enough to the blonde to not have to rise her voice, out of laziness. "...Yup." Sufficient to say, Nico could piece it together in an instant, giving a wink back to the blonde. Who needs mindtalk when you can tell what goes through that puerto rican streamer face of hers.

"DAYEOOOOON!" She suddently yelled, since she didn't know where the idol was at at the moment. "No spicy chicken. Pasta, It's been so long since I had pasta, come on you two- Val, pasta?" She asked, turning back to Valeria for confirmation on it, walking past just to go and drop the luggage in and dust her hands off afterwards.

"DAYEOOOOON! No spicy chicken. Pasta, It's been so long since I had pasta, come on you two- Val, pasta?"

She confusedly replied to the woman upstairs. "Why not both? It's not like people just eat one type of meal." Or even better, spicy chicken pasta? Yum.

Dayeon walked to the table to grab one of the car keys. Val said she'd drive, so the idol grabbed the red mustang's key. She shouted to the girls above, but not too loud since Ari might've already dozed off. Good thing the food would be ready by the time he's up. Probably. "Come on, chop chop, gremlins. Don't let the grandpa die of hunger."

She leaned on the entrance door, letting the cool breeze of Hawaii flow into the house as the other women come back down. "Come on, I've set my navigation to the nearest grocery store. Should be a five minutes drive," The older woman tossed the car key to Val.

"...Yup."

Her eyes had been glued to the staircase as she could hear the steps of Nico and her luggage coming up to meet them, a thankful smile on the blonde’s face when the pinkett confirmed she’d be rooming with Valeria for their stay in Hawaii. "Thanks." The lack of mindsend in the real world didn’t seem to pose too much of an obstacle between the girls, both moving to drop their suitcase and items in the chosen room before Nico’s voice rang loudly as she called for the idol.

"DAYEOOOOON!"
"Nico…!"

Yeah, there was no way Ari was going to be able to get some shut eye if they all remained in the AirBnB (Especially the loud pink-haired gremlin) but before Val could agree with Dayeon’s meal plan Nico had quickly interjected with a pick of her own. ”Val, pasta?" The final choice suddenly rested on the blonde before she could even voice out her own ideas, her gaze going from Nico to Dee and back to the pinkett before she shrugged her shoulders lightly.

"How about both…?" Thankfully it seemed that the songstress also had the same idea, her words echoing Valeria’s own thoughts. "Dee’s right, besides chicken pairs well with anything."

Dayeon was the first to head downstairs with Valeria following moments after, the duotone colored woman grabbing the car keys that Ari had left on a little table by the entrance before calling out to the younger girls. "H-hey, since when am I a gremlin? I’m not the one going over Hawaii’s speed limit by thirty miles." The keys were lobbed in her direction, the blonde deftly catching them, before Dayeon announced that she’d already found the nearest store for them.

"Perfect, you’re riding shotgun Dee. Hey Nico, you’re in charge of the music—and don’t forget pics and vids too this time~"

With their roles assigned the blonde headed out the door, the vehicle beeping as it was unlocked before Valeria settled herself on the driver’s seat. "R-Right, how hard can this be…?" This was definitely way different to the Rav4 that Val was used to driving back home, but if Dayeon and Nico had managed to get here in one piece… Well, that alone gave the blonde high hopes that she’d be able to drive this thing without much issue.

"C’mon, buckle up before we leave—the last thing I need is a cop stopping us due to seatbelts of all things."

With her luck it was a high possibility, one that Valeria didn’t feel like testing out today—or any other day for that matter—in Hawaii of all places.

"Elves stick together." She winked back at Val with a knowing look within her gaze. For her, Nico's just as willing to take a giant eldritch root to the face inside and outside of the game. Good thing these don't exist out of the game though. With all said and done, one shout to call for the korean idol and a reprimend from her roommate had her put both hands on her lips.

"Sorry, sorry." She muttered, voice watered down a few notches, eyes leveled to Dayeon now, and her response was logical now that Nico gave it a second or two to think about it.

"Dee's right, besides chicken pairs well with anything."
That settled it then. "Good point, alright you tw-"
"Come on, chop chop, gremlins. Don't let the grandpa die of hunger."
"Hey, I'm no gremlin!"
Said the gremlin, groaning along the way back down, with a hand spread for her to catch the keys that were not thrown in her direction, and instead landed on Val, a pout mixed with a frown all over her features at the blasphemy, but given her lack of a license...

'Makes sense, yup.'

With Dayeon handling the directions, Val being on the wheel, and with her phone and bluetooth ready to push on some tunes, all that was left is the order to do so, a thumbs up given to the blonde, right as she begun to question her own skill right on the driver's seat, earning her a pat on the shoulder from the pinkette. "It's as hard as you make it out to be. Drivin's all about being calm and getting a feel of the car, like a horse." Reassuring, Nico pulled down the window from her side and swapped her thumb across her phone's touchscreen "But we are three idiots on a car going over the speed limit, so you know what we need? That's right, music to race with." And what better than to plug in Heartbeat For a little change on the mood? Too many korean lyrics for a day.

And grandpa ain't around to tell them what they can or cannot do. The beat would do the rest, that and keeping the volume high just to let any passer-by notice the three babes on a mustang, which certainly caught some attention once Val actually got the wheels moving.

"H-hey, since when am I a gremlin?"
"Hey, I'm no gremlin!"

The two gremlins protested at once, with Dayeon giving them the shush gesture to not wake Ari while smiling as they exited the house and closed the door behind them.

"I’m not the one going over Hawaii’s speed limit by thirty miles."

"I'm gonna take that as a compliment." She grinned, proceeding to the unlocked car while recalling her achievements of driving that fast in Hawaii without getting in an incident (actually impressive).

"You’re riding shotgun Dee."

The idol made a fist-pumping motion, opening the front door for herself before getting in. Quickly putting on the seatbelt as Val ordered them, Nico instead blasted a track that brought the racer's blood inside of the idol back. Too bad she wasn't the one driving.

"Alright, let's go. Follow the road up until the next intersection for now." She pointed forwards after the blonde finally got the wheels turning and driving out. Bobbing her head to the sick beat, she sang along to the chorus of the song. "Dance to the heartbeat, o-o-ooh!"

She’d taken a moment to pull her hair up into a messy ponytail, not wishing to have it flying everywhere and possibly obstructing her view when driving, before a pair of sunglasses rested against the bridge of her nose. Her own seatbelt was buckled safely, and once the other two had done the same the Mustang’s engine roared to life.

"It's as hard as you make it out to be. Drivin's all about being calm and getting a feel of the car, like a horse."
"Yeah, except this one’s a very expensive horse."

Now that it was her turn in the driver seat she could better understand why Ari had wanted to drive one of these for a while, a soft chuckle escaped the girl as she backed the vehicle out of the driveway as Nico decided to play Heartbeat. "Gotcha." A nod was given to the idol as she pointed Val towards the proper direction, the blonde trusting on the woman to guide them to their destination as she simply focused on driving. The purr of the engine as they moved was something Valeria wasn’t used to, though she couldn’t say that she disliked it.

"Dance to the heartbeat, o-o-ooh!"
"You better take you chances right now~"

Safety belt could go fuck itself a new one. Hell, fuck the sun too, she had sunglasses and put them to use right now, shame for the other two, because Nico pulled down the roof of the car to let fresh breeze and sunlight bath over them as music escaped from every angle possible.
"Yeah, except this one's a very expensive horse."
"Listen listen to the drop, speed this horse the fuck up!"
Nico yelled, pulling the volume to the top, where the beat of the song ironically matched with their heartbeats, or perhaps it was the other way around (most likely this). While she drummed her thighs to the song's crescendo.

"Dance to the heartbeat, o-o-ooh!"
"You better take you chances right now~"

"Dance to the Heartbeat- And let it go!"

Bobbing her head, Nico switched over to drumming on the headrest of Dayeon's seat, barely paying attention to the fact they were almost there, save for the idol's phone blurping out a mechanical, generic AI voice to let them know.

A voice that got flattened by the passion of Nathalie Aarts's incredible vocal range. No wonder Day knew the song, given it had a cover by a J-pop Idol group back in the 2000s. A relic compared to today's standards, but if ten years ago proved something is that nostalgia pays, and so does good music.

"Hey I think you can park over there!" A hand getting on between both girls, pointing straight ahead, a bit to the left, where a few cars were parked yet there was a spot in the middle.

As they jammed to the song, the text-to-speech generated voice reminded them that they had almost arrived at the supermarket. Dayeon pointed to the left, signaling Val. "Should be around here. There, to the left!" They then pulled into the parking area.

"Hey I think you can park over there!"

"Yeah, might be a little tight so I'll be exiting first."

The idol got off the stopped car and waited as the car parked, recounting the things they need for the food they would be cooking. After Nico and Val joined her, they went inside the supermarket with a trolley. "Okay, but whatever you need. But don't go overboard, okay? My card is nearing the limit." Nico's definitely going to grab some more cracker snacks.

Dayeon pushed the trolley and went towards the meat section, buying 3/4 kgs of boneless chicken meat. Next, she grabbed multi-purpose flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs for the batter, before finding a gochujang paste and mirin in the Asian spices corner of the market. And don't forget the king of flavor, MSG.
