Honeyhome, Eastern Brisshal
How long has it been since Kamala was in this area? Honeyhome was the first respite from the wilds she had ever experienced in this game. It was the first home she ever had in the game, the first place that felt peaceful and comfortable compared to the violent wilderness a first-time player had to endure when they first played the game. She smiled when she caught sight of the quiet hamlet's distinctive red shingles, like rose flowers standing out from the overgrowth of green. Ah, Honeyhome!
Kamala took one deep sniff of the air and a wide smile immediately found its way to her lips. The smell of fragrant flowers danced joyously in the air with the scent of fresh pastries. From the corner of her eye, she found a small bakery that must've been the culprit. The elderly woman who was hard at work inside noticed her and gave her a sweet smile. Another villager she passed by greeted her kindly as well. And another. And another.
The elf greeted them all back nicely. When she spotted the general store where she bought her first set of adventuring items, she couldn't help but rush toward its window, fawning at the nostalgia of a much simpler time. The man inside saw her and waved. Kamala giggled and waved back. As she made her way further into town, she caught sight of the town's temple, whose tall steeple blanketed the road with its shadow. She remembered meeting a kindly priest there once, and even befriended a few worshipers, all of them grateful when she sent them some excess crops fresh from Viridian Fields. Maybe I should pay them a visit again after the quest...
Ah, yes, the quest! Kamala had actually traveled all the way from Pormont to help the village against troublesome monsters. While she wasn't one for wanton violence, she knew she'd have to do everything in her power to keep the innocent folks against creatures they couldn't take on by themselves. Kamala wasn't a hero, she would never consider herself one, but you don't need to be a hero to help people, right? I wonder if he's already here...
How long has it been since Kamala saw her old friend, @Altria? She wondered how much he has changed, how much he has grown, since the last time they played together. Ah, I can't wait to see him!
