Finally, a rhythm was found in Juniper's gaming sessions in Terra. She simply saw it as an opportunity to be herself, and so she didn't have any really grand goals just yet. She'd met some great people already, sure, but that was more than enough for her by itself. This new creature she'd become was social and liked the attention she was getting from others. It was new, exciting, unfamiliar, and sometimes a little scary, but it was fun above all.

Still, being naïve led to her, naturally, being a target of crime. Again. But this time it came with a knife that was being jabbed at her threateningly, greasy metal words demanding her gold or her life. She'd found herself taking a wrong turn down the wrong street and now, just out of earshot of those who might help her, she felt at a loss. Did she try to deal with this herself? She had magic for a reason, right? But she didn't want to kill him or anything. Could she even fend him off with magic? Or would it just make the situation worse for her. After all, if she died now, that'd be death one, and it hadn't even been two weeks since she'd started playing!

She was still dressed in clothes befitting a newbie, finding them comfortable as robes that fit a caster and not wanting to graduate into anything more just yet. On the other hand, the man was about what you'd expect from a lowlife thug: missing teeth, brawn, no brain, wicked eyes that held sparks of fire in them, the works.

Frozen, it was all she could do to keep herself from screaming. That was a new thing she'd discovered about herself recently - she was scared more easily now and prone to jump scares where she wasn't before. It took some adjustment, but it was adjustment that she was happy to go with. In the meantime, though, about that savior...

"LICHTSPEER!" A voice shouts out as a radiant light begun to fill the alleyway. A holy chorus ringed as a large pillar of light crossed over Juniper's head like a shooting star. The blast of light knocks the knife off the aggressor's hand, along with a couple of fingers. As the sinner screams in pain, an imposing figure stands at the other end of the alley, tall and strong, a hero bathed in light.

The pillar of light fades, revealing the large metal spear that had just impaled itself into the cobblestone. The large spearhead however looked more like a large blade that the pointed tip of a spear. The blonde warrior steps into the alleyway as her boots clinked with purpose. She might not be a Lion, but she's still going to be as heroic as one if the time calls for it.

"Don't expect me to spare you Kotzbrocken, I'm not a Lion," Elizabeth flexed her neck as she continues to walk over. Perhaps it was the illusion of the alleyway, but she looked much taller than when she was at the mouth of the alley. The criminal would lose his cool and crumple, running away only to bang himself onto the swordspear, knocking himself out.

"You okay girl?" Elizabeth asked as she planted a boot on the lowlife's back and pulls her spear out. "Try not to stray from the path if you are new. To think there would be someone like him in Stokbon." Elizabeth sighs as she shakes her head.

Just as he started to move towards her, radiant light accompanied a loud shout and Juniper suddenly saw the knife and several fingers leave the man's hand. Covering her mouth in a gasp as he screamed, she watched the woman approach and discovered that she was entirely too simp-worthy. If she wasn't already being followed by a group of fans who were thirsty for her, Juni didn't understand why.

As the man knocked himself out, she stifled a laugh and looked at the woman, nodding,

"Yes, thank you. Seems like I always need saving from something or other." She sighed, exasperated with herself, "I will do better about staying on the path, especially if it means following you~" She said a little breathily, too attracted to the taller woman to help herself.

"But yea, I'm very new. I shouldn't have tried to take this shortcut..." She felt sorry for herself, clearly, crossing her arms under her breast and looking dejected.

Elizabeth wills her spear back into her inventory. Likely there won't be any more trouble like the one beneath her metal plated boot. Glancing down, she made sure the criminal was unconscious before facing Juniper again. The meaning of 'following' her was not lost on her, the beastkin was did her best to just ignore what she heard and maintain a stoic presence.

"I can tell, you are dressed pretty much like you fell from the sky," Elizabeth simply repeated that phrase she keeps hearing. Something about how the shooting stars above are new players, so newbies 'fell from the sky' as she hears. Elizabeth did remember going through such a moment, but with how long it has been, the feeling is lost on her.

"Don't feel bad for yourself however, exploration is a good thing, it is simply just unfortunate you had to run into trouble," Elizabeth glances down for a moment, before returning her attention to Juniper. "I'll escort you till we reach the main streets again, and we can hand this guy up to the authorities while we walk."

Elizabeth picks the unconscious man up and slings him over her shoulder. As they moved, Elizabeth would turn to face Juniper.

"What's your name? I'm Elizabeth, a pleasure to rescue you," Elizabeth smiled, like a radiant gentle sun.

She looked a little embarrassed, nervously rubbing the back of her head as her manner of dress was remarked on, nodding, "Yea, haven't been here long and didn't wanna change out of this stuff yet." Then, talk of being escorted came up and her tail began to wag at a rapid pace, happily looking up at her like a puppy about to be adopted,

"That'd be amazing! Thank you~" She started, responding to the next question in kind as she reached out her hand. Well, she got her hand half-way up, practically blinded even by the gentle radiance of her smile, "Juniper, you can call me Juni if you want! A pleasure to be rescued." She giggled behind her hand, tail happily wagging as she walked with her new temporary bodyguard.

"What sort of masteries do you have? Looks like...divine magic and piercing weapons or something? Am I close?"

Elizabeth was a vet and that meant for several years in education and in the field, she have witnessed how different animals behaved and understood why they expressed these actions. While most of the time it is hypothesis and studied knowledge, in this case, she did not even need to guess when the person was basically broadcasting it.

With handshake made, Elizabeth can't help but be a little charmed. Juniper was like a cute puppy, an innocent little doggy that had entered the vet the first time not knowing about the needles and scary equipment in there. Granted, sometimes, the dog is just eager to get back. Elizabeth could buy a new phone with the pennies she would make every time a farm dog jumps her because she's visiting. Elizabeth did not understand why, but she felt dogs are smarter than most people sometimes.

"Mm, pretty on point, I use Divine Magic and Piercing Weapons to help my allies and subdue my foes," Elizabeth walked as she continues down the alleyway. "What about you? Surely you could have fought back if you wanted to."

Elizabeth did wonder. Every starcalled she met seemed perfectly capable of using their masteries. Maybe it was the newbie bias or simply the fantasy immersion has yet to kick in yet for some people.

Juni felt proud that she'd guessed the masteries correctly, happy to be learning something and learning it well. It was a little weird to be proud to be well-versed in a game, she thought, but she was happier here than she'd ever been and she wanted to become a guide, maybe, for other newbies, or just someone who was good enough at the game that they were taken seriously by others. Maybe whispered about. The fantasies were hard to shove away, sometimes.

"I mean, I could have, maybe, but I'm still getting used to it. My actions, even guided by the assist option, aren't reflexive just yet. I'm not like...all the way in the game yet, I guess? I don't know how to explain it. Either way, yea, I maybe could have. I wanted a witchy vibe so I went with geo and aeromancy and weapon arts." She produced her orbs from thin air and the spheres spun while orbiting her thanks to a sly movement of her hands, "I've been training, though! I'm trying to learn it all so I don't need the assist function. That way, I can reflexively defend myself or others next time." After a moment of silence, she piped up again with a question, ears twitching in curiosity.

"How long you been playin', if you don't mind my askin'?"
