Personality
Once a creature has their first taste of freedom it is almost impossible for them to give that feeling up.
The world simply calls to her, and who is Toko to deny their open invitation? She'll never turn an adventure down, even those that someone wiser might think twice before committing to. She's a being that lives her life to the fullest, not wishing to waste even a second of it, and will probably go out one day in a blaze... though she'll say it was one of glory, of course.
Sure, money can talk and make the world go 'round... but so can her fists, and Toko can be extremely convincing when her feet are added to the mix.
Despite her crude and sometimes considerably violent nature the lepus does have a set of morals and ethics: she will not pick on the weak, it's the responsibility of the strong to protect them, and once she gives her word on something Toko will follow it through... no matter the cost.
Positive: Adventurous, Courageous, Earnest, Optimistic, Reliable
Negative: Arrogant, Impatient, Impulsive, Rowdy, Strong-Willed
Background
"Tadaimaaa..."
The word slipped from Nao's lips, a habit of years that she couldn't simply overwrite now in a few months, but it lacked any joy or enthusiasm as it was delivered. Behind her a hand slid the front door shut, plunging the entrance of the home into a dim darkness while a feeling of emptiness nestled along the walls. She could almost hear the soft 'Okaeri Naochan!' that her grandmother would always welcome her with, her hands balling tightly into fists at the memory before Nao quickly made her way upstairs into her room.
A hand roughly wiped the moisture from her eyes, stubbornly refusing to continue wallowing in misery, as the laptop was booted up. Everything would be fine with time, that's what everyone kept saying around her at least, but that time never seemed to get any closer... perhaps she just needed to busy herself with more work, keep her mind busy enough so it couldn't wander and delve into past memories Nao currently didn't wish to revisit.
Slowly she took a breath, followed by an even longer exhale, before the woman turned to check the pending orders of her online shop. After all they wouldn't prepare and ship themselves out on their own, and after some time eventually the last label was pasted atop the last box—all the packages completed and ready for the post office tomorrow. It was then a blinking alert caught her eye, the sight of an unopened email coming to view as Nao verified her screen. She had thought it to be another order from the online shop at first, before realizing that instead it seemed to be a link to a game.
For a moment she hesitated, about to close the laptop, before her eyes moved to gaze the VR that had been mostly forgotten atop her dresser. Originally bought as a present for her grandmother, and one that had seemingly brought Nao's grandmother a lot of joy too. Often at night Nao would listen as her grandmother enthusiastically spoke about all the things she could experience and enjoy once more, all thanks to the assistance of modern technology.
Perhaps it could help her too...
