The reassuring touch on his shoulder made him unrest his chin from his knees, looking at Cleo and listening attentively to what she had to say.
"I guess that is the one thing I can learn from you," Hanno said, smiling a bit brighter than before, albeit still bittersweet. Considering Cleo seemed to have much more experience in putting her life on the line, and she was still there to tell the story, her advice was highly valuable.
"Maybe it comes back because, in this game, you actually have second chances. Even if death in here feels... So real." Hanno said, crossing his arms and musing about it.
"Sometimes... I do wonder if I get my second death. Or if you ever get to that point too, since honestly, this is rather dangerous... I do wonder if we will just pull the plug and never log in again. Or if we will keep going until either we save everyone or we are fated to stay locked in here forever-" Which then, there wouldn't be any more second chances.
