With the robot being successfully destroyed, Hanno released a breath he didn't even notice he was holding, taking two steps backward and breathing heavily before turning to Corsair.

"Thank you too, buddy. We did a great job." Hanno grinned, approaching her and offering a hand to stand while fluttering his wings, with the divine warmth of Rhiannon he held gently brushing against the wounds of Corsair, speeding up the healing process Sam was working on.

"As for a key..." He muttered, glancing around. "Maybe our friend Barn is a bit too quiet about it." Hanno said, approaching the robots and shuffling among the pile of destruction they had. Among all of it, there were small compartments on a particular sentry that happened to had a claw appendage.

Hanno squinted, tucking his hand into it and pulling out a few crystals, a necklace, a half burned paper, and finally...

"A key!" Hanno said cheerfully, standing on his feet and turning to look at Corsair.

"If that is the key we are looking for, that's another question-" He added, glancing at the sphere the bandit ghost was locked on, wondering how he would react about it.

Corsair's eyes sparkled. Not at the key, but at the chunky, many-sided crystals that Hanno had found. "Do you mind if I look at those?" she asked, excitement thrumming in her simulated voice. "These robots are like nothing else, and if they are operating using crystal matrixes instead of wiring and energy cores then that means I need to change everything about my current models."

She was so caught up in the possibilities of their new find that the reality of their current mission were entirely forgotten. "Woven biological components? Now that's a thought. If I captured a whole host of souls and joined them together, or had multiple housed in the same shell?" She realized that she was talking to herself and came back to reality.

They unlocked the key with the box, revealing a glimmering ring.

"That's me ring!" shouted the trapped spirit of Barn.

Corsair stuffed the ball with his spirit deep down into her bag and turned to Hanno. "We're two for three now, yes? All we need to do is find out what caused the destruction of this place and we can head off." She looked around at the destruction. The scorched wallm the shattered bots, and the pair of them, both still healing from the fight. "Hopefully before something larger and nastier shows up."

"So. Big moral question for you. What do you do with the ring and husband? Return them to the wife or give Barn his ring? If we do, his spirit will probably disincorporate right here."
Corsair looked at Hanno expectantly.

Corsair's excitement about the crystals made Hanno look at her surprised, but also quirk a small grin on his lip as he saw her even changing her voice tone about it. "Sure buddy, here you are." Hanno said, handing her the crystals while watching and listening to her going pretty much crazy about the whole deal.

"Aren't Magia like you made out of biocomponents?" Hanno made a guess while Corsair was talking to herself, being mostly sure he had heard that from someone talking.

However, the focus soon switched to the box again, and after unlocking it, the spirit acting up again was quickly shushed by Corsair shoving it into her bag, and Hanno turned to look at her with a nod. "Yeah! We are almost done. Just a little more and we can get off here. I wouldn't want to put you in more trouble than we already went through." He said, casting a glance at the wound on her caused by the laser, feeling guilty he couldn't have protected her properly.

When she brought up the moral question, Hanno paused and looked at her for a moment.

"Well. Let's give him the ring." Hanno said. "I know it is probably emotionally important for his wife, but Barn's spirit needs to rest. He will just wander forever if he is never freed from this regret he holds."

Corsair smiled at Hanno's question. "Aren't we all?" she countered, pocketing all but one of the gems. There was something important about these little crystals. They were unusual magitech, she was sure of that. And perhaps had spirit magic applications too.

She took the sphere back out of her bag and undid the clasp, releasing the cloud of Barn's spirit into the corridor. "Well Barn, we have your ring here," Corsair said, offering up the box. Inside sat an unpolished metal band, no gem and no gleam. It was the ring of a simple husband, with little to offer but his love.

Barn snatched the box, but his hand passed right through! He shouted out, and flashed with white light, and he was pulled into the ring.

The band gave a final flash before falling dormant. Corsair frowned, and leaned in to get a closer look. She brought up her bracelet, the focus for her spirit magic, but there was no crackle or recognition of a nearby spirit. "It appears that he is gone," she said slowly.

"The only mystery that remains is what happened to this place." She looked around at the ruins. "I think that between the initial impact, time, and the patrols of the robots that the mystery may not be as deep as we first imagined."

As she talked, Sam crawled out of a hole in the wall, padding slowly towards her on sticky toes. She picked him up, pensive. "And if there were a group of bandits here when the robots came checking then that would surely account for the ghosts and the localized destruction." Corsair gave a final nod, satisfied with her surmisation. "Shall we leave before something more dangerous shows up?"

Hanno opened his mouth to respond to Corsair, pausing and frowning puzzled for a moment while considering it. "Actually... yeah, yeah we are." Hanno said with a nod and a chuckle, then keeping a watch at the surroundings while Corsair finished her business with the gems.

When it came to the bandit's spirit release, Hanno watched with a vague sorrowness when the man eagerly tried to grab the ring, only to finally disappear. "To think a ring was what held him down all this time." Hanno muttered, glancing at Corsair with a faint smile. "Love is both wonderful and scary sometimes." He adjusted his shield on his back, casting a glance to see what was a group of sentries and one... woman leading them?

Hanno frowned.

"Yeah, I am sure the Dragonfall is at fault for all of this... But you are right, we should hurry." He gestured to the enemies afar.

"I think we are done of action for today." Hanno muttered, getting ready to cover his friend so they could exit as soon as she wished.
