Blood gushed out of the claw wound Regan had just sustained from the bear. It was a tough opponent but she hadn't left the bear uninjured either.

"GOOD! CLAW AT ME WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT, LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT, BECAUSE BELIEVE ME IT DOES!"

Using her speed to her advantage, Regan rushed the bear with a long blade made of her own blood.

Seeing her coming, the bear stood on its two hind legs ready to attack. Seeing an opening, Regan slid to the right bringing her blade low and cutting into the bear's leg deep.

"DOES IT HURT BEAR! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE YOUR LIFEBLOODS POURING OUT!"

Unfortunately, as Regan passed slid, the bear turned quickly clawing and her back and leaving a large gash.

Regan rolled on the ground obviously in a great deal of pain.

"HAHAHA! YOU'VE SEEN BATTLE BEFORE HAVEN'T YOU, YOU MOUND OF HAIR AND FLESH? IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY VICTORIES YOU'VE WON, I'LL TEAR YOUR HEADOFF AND GORGE MYSELF ON YOUR BLOOD LIKE A FINE WINE! YOU WILL KNOW DEATH TODAY AND I WILL BE THE ONE THAT BRINGS YOU TO HIM!"

Regan readied herself for her next attack, blood dripping from claw mark gashes across her her stomach and back.

It wasn't the first time that Seigi did some rounds in the beginner areas, ever since Terrasphere opened up again. And it certainly wouldn't be the last. After all, it happened way too often that the kind of scenario happened that the Hero found herself witnessing.

Thanks to the ever-present Threads of Fate, she had found herself guided to quite a bloody battlefield. On one end, a majestic creature of the forest. A bear. On the other end, an in blood-bathing damsel in distress! Though she had heard the woman certainly before laying eyes upon her.

Not batting an eye, and having enough of her own non-action, Seigi instinctively sprinted forward, jumped, and shifted her body to be a live piercing weapon of sorts.

"SEIGI BOOM!" Drop-kicking the bear with enough force to send it backwards through a tree or two, as it was ultimately just a low-level enemy, and killing it. She had successfully stolen Regan's prey helped the poor, and noisy, woman!

Gracefully landing from her short time in midair, the hoodie-wearing girl did not seem off-put by Regan's bloodied appearance. "Fear not, Seigi's here! You're hurt, yes?" Before combining her Battle Spirit and Spirit Magic to create a fierce aura that engulfed Regan, slowly healing her wounds.

"What you did was AWESOME! Except the nearly spilling your guts part!" She complimented?

For a moment, Regan was in shock. Her kill had been stolen. All the work she had done to end the bear was taken from her in a single hit. Anger began to seethe from the woman as her eyes met Seigi's.

"You think you saved me? You think I'm so weak I would NEED SOMEONE TO SAVE, ME! HAHAHAHA!"

Regan began to stride towards Seigi, each step hitting the ground heavier than before as she picked up speed.

"ALL YOU'VE DONE IS KILL MY PREY! THIS WAS A BATTLE BETWEEN BEASTS AND YOUR HAPHAZARD, UNASKED-FOR HEROICS HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT LEFT ME WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO TALLY ONE MORE CREATURE DEFEATED ON MY LEDGER! IF ANYTHING YOU OWE ME ANOTHER BEAST TO KILL!"

Regan cackled then trudged towards the bear.

"KEEP YOUR HEALING TO YOURSELF, 'HERO' THE ONLY THING I NEED IN THIS WORLD IS MYSELF!"

As she reached the bear, Regan opened her mouth flashing her long fangs. Suddenly the bear's blood began to coalesce into streams in the air siphoning into Regan's opened mouth. Drinking the blood seemed to slowly heal her wounds.

Regan turned back to Seigi, blood running down her lips and chin.

"Well? What do you think now? Did I need saving or not?"

Regan began to laugh and pointed at Seigi.

"MY NAME IS REGAN, FUTURE VAMPIRE QUEEN OF THIS WORLD AND LET ME TELL YOU THIS, WOULD-BE HERO! THE ONLY THING ANYONE NEEDS IS THEMSELVES AND THEIR OWN POWER!

Roaring, Regan took her blood blade and threw it at a nearby tree where it lodged into the bark.

"SAVE ANY LECTURES ON THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP OR HOW WE SHOULD USE OUR POWERS FOR GOOD! THIS POWER IS MINE AND MINE ALONE, AND THE ONLY PEOPLE WORTHY TO STAND AT MY SIDE ARE THOSE THAT CAN STAND ON THEIR OWN!"

Looking back down at the bear's carcass, Regan snarled and kicked it hard.

"You deserved better than to be defeated by someone such as that."

Regan turned to eye Seigi once more.

"REGARDLESS OF THE PREVIOUS STATE OF THIS WORLD, I WILL TELL YOU THIS WOULD-BE HERO! A NEW MONSTER HAS ENTERED THE ARENA, AND THAT MONSTER IS ME! I WILL SURPASS ALL TO BECOME THE VAMPIRE QUEEN AND THE STRONGEST BEING IN THIS WORLD! EVEN YOU WILL BE FORCED TO EVENTUALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT!"

Regan pointed to the forest.

"NOW COME! YOU OWE ME A KILL SO YOU'LL HELP ME FIND IT AND WATCH AS I DESTROY IT."

"I..." The loud Beastkin kept talking.

"But....!" And talking. In a way, she reminded Seigi of her past self. Just even louder.

"You're a rolep-" And talking! Alright, enough was enough. After the 'future Vampire Queen' finished her impressive display of vampiric abilities, Seigi decided to just do her thing, too. In a way, Regan was... inspiring? Closing her eyes for a moment, Seigi smiled brightly as she caught up to Beastkin's invitation.

"The name is Seigi Ling Ling, Regan! But you can just call me Seigi. You could call me a hero, I guess." And sometimes, she did so herself too. "But ultimately I just punch things and put in lots of guts and effort." Yeah yeah, there it was.

"You looked like you needed a hand, so here I am!" Seigi seemed to pout, just a little bit. "But if you want to show me just how strong you are, you're welcome! And you can be as much vampire as you want, if it's too much I'll just punch some sense into you, too. And if that still isn't enough, you can be sure I'll just give you another beating!" She said without malice, not even as a warning, but simply a friendly statement...?

She paused for a moment, Seigi was well aware that just warning people wouldn't stop them from joining Terrasphere either way. And the best she could do was help and support them, rather than constantly nag them about just not playing. Though at the very least Regan deserved the benefit of the doubt.

"I'm not going to waste my time lecturing you either, but just so you've heard: Dying three times is going to kill you in the real world, yes?"

Regan rolled her eyes,

"Yes, yes and guess what? Being shot once in the real world kills you in the real world. I've even met someone who did die in the real world from playing this game. SO WHAT? IF I DIE, I DIE! BUT ONE THING IS FOR CERTAIN, IF I'M GOING TO BE KILLED, I'M DAMN SURE GOING TO TAKE WHATEVER OR WHOEVER IT IS WITH ME TO HELL!"

Regan smiled gravely.

"NOW QUIT WASTING TIME AND LET'S GO! WE'RE GOING HUNTING AND YOU'RE GOING TO SEE THAT I CAN HANDLE MYSELF WITHOUT THE LIKES OF YOU, HERO. I DON'T LIKE BEING LOOKED DOWN ON! I WILL SAY THIS THOUGH, YOU'RE STRONG AND STRENGTH IS SOMETHING I RESPECT, BUT KNOW THAT SOMEDAY SOON I'LL BE MUCH STRONGER THAN I AM NOW AND EVEN STRONGER THAN YOU. NOW LET'S GO!"

Starting towards the forest Regan looked behind her to make sure that Seigi was following. Her pride was hurt from how quickly this woman had defeated the bear, and hurt even worse by the fact that this woman thought Regan needed saving. Now she would show this hero exactly who Regan was.

"You can go ahead and try, I'll fight you anytime!" Seigi knew that talking all these new crazies out of playing Terrasphere was a lost cause, but should she really encourage her for such behavior? ... Eh, a death or two and they'd usually scuddle away. And if not, they were a lost cause just like she was. And ultimately she just seemed to be roleplaying, which was fun too! Not to mention— Seigi shook her head.

"Less thinking, more doing! Yeah. Let's get to it, chop chop!" She seemed to tell more to herself than @Regan, following her into the forest. "I can tell you like fighting just as much as I do! Bears shouldn't be that dangerous unless it's a moon bear, but it seemed like you were in danger. But then again, as I used to say: As long as your health is above 0, you'll be fine!" Why was she encouraging this crazy even more?! Maybe her gusto was simply that inspiring.

"SO SHOW ME, FUTURE VAMPIRE QUEEN, WHO SHALL NEVER DEFEAT ME. HOW YOU GET RID OF THE LOCAL WILDLIFE AS YOU BASK YOURSELF IN THE GLORY OF BATTLE." Stop it! But it was fun...
