A ruckus around Grania Trail!
The Grania Trail, a large trade route that connects northern Falderen and Astorea and with several little towns and villages across it's span. A popular stop for many, and to put the word 'trade' in 'route', for it is in said villages that markets come and go, from the exotics the commoner cannot find to what is average in Falderen's depths. It is through this system that nomadic merchants make their trades at higher than usual prices, aswell as for masses to gather at specific hours of the day.
And such proved a tasteful opportunity for Betty, who found the most daring (or foolish) of players and landers as a gold mine to her antics. Specially the former. The latter worked as great bait, with some coins even children would join her masterful plans to bring in any tourist her way with stories so grandiose about a hammer crafted by the very gods and left for a worthy hero to grasp and rise...
The two-handed weapon stands on the ground at the center of the town, and next to it are a mass of people who make a line and drop gold to the wolfish lady herself. Betty giggles as the last player to try finally gave up, with the man throwing hands up in defeat, panting once it took all out of him from just the mere attempt. That, and the heat within the stone head of the hammer itself.
"This is bullshit! How the hell you got this here even?" He turned back to Betty, who waved a finger dismissively at him.
"The last hero droppit it for me ower here, nojya. Ye juist arrived, hmmm, five hours early tae speir him aboot it" She replied, fuzzy tail dusting off the ground beneath here, were the cracks from the hammer still remain present.
"Oooh!" She exclaimed, as her eyes scouted for one peculiar person past the line. Perhaps she planned to join? Or perhaps not, but these muscles, that form. Certainly someone to put to test and see if she can slide some extra coins out of their purse if possible.
"Yer one over there, cailín." Betty waved and pointed at @Valkryja, wide smile on her lips. "Wanna give it a lash, nojya? The hammer's waitin for a strong lady like ye to pan out some bad people!" A quick gesture back to the hammer, whose runes begun to resonate, the flames within reacting. But if it was to Valkryja, Betty or something else, she couldn't possibly tell.
