"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth."

_____The docile and faint words echoed across still airs outside that of nature's melody of creature and monster alike. It had become the norm for the small faerin who had yet to encounter a single other 'sentient' soul since starting the game a month prior. A fragment of thier mind wondered if this game was simply a single player in the vast woods where one needed to survive. Though this fragment was simply that as the boy assured himself this could not be the case. He had seen signs of hunter's traps, signs of trees cut not struck down by nature or natural forces at play.

"Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same."

_____His words continued to cut the background sound, gentle hand reaching across the water's surface he drifted above. The faint dripping and sound of new forming ripples amplified as the Faerin worked his magic to distort the reality around him. It was how he passed the time when he felt no desire to keep traveling or slowly expanding his explored region of the map. His scarf afloat, divine magic glowing beneath his small frame to suspend him above the water to avoid getting soaked or sinking due to his armor. A slow gesture as he would move his hand back to his stomach and began to focus magic there once more.

"And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back."

_____Hands reaching out to either side, lotus flowers and petals scattering across the reach of his magic while parts of the pond seemed to tell gravity to rethink itself, bubbles then columns no larger then a dime in circumference rose upwards and arced before falling back on the other side of the Faerin who simply yawned. What good was magic, if none to admire it other then it's caster? What good was it he was getting the hang of making it look like he could use several types if there was none to deceive? A drawn out sigh as the boy exhaled and rose to his feet shifting all the divine magic to his feet to walk along the water's surface but not more then the sole of his armored boots.

"I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

The road not taken, by Robert Frost"

_____A slow and half hearted bow, illusion magic emitting the sound of a slow clap from thin air as the Faerin walked back to shore and began to close his magic net to return the area back to what it once was. A simple pond, void of plant life or motion outside the ripple of his last step before shore. It was a fitting poem, maybe had he taken the other paths he would have met people by now, but sadly he had not and was thus stuck looking for them still as gentle prints would be left in his wake as he walked towards the treeline to resume his search.

Max swayed his crystalized sword around, with a bit of a pouty expression on his face. "Why can't you just let this sword stay in power mode all the time? It is so boring that you just activate it in fights." He complained.

"Because you would wipe out my mana in a few seconds." The little fairy fluttered her wings, crossing her arms. "Especially knowing how much of a monkey brain you are." She huffed, turning away.

"Well shit. This means I need to level you up or something." Max looked at her. "Maybe this way you will get some more MP."

"What? Level up? Ugh... This traveler talk is so weird... Really, all of you are so--" Jade was ready to complain some more-- But suddenly, she halted. "Wait... Can you listen to this?" The fairy fluttered her wings, closing her eyes.

"Listen to what?" Max asked, frowning at the fairy, that suddenly darted off at full speed. "Hey! Come back!" He hissed, chasing the fairy from behind.

Eventually, the fairy met the source of the melody, a faerin boy, one that she hovered around.

"A faerin! An adorable one at that... This melody is very precious, small summer." The fairy complimented, nodding in joy.

"Already fangirling?" Max asked, approaching in a jogging and halting his steps to look at the boy, swaying his tail. "Hey, what's up?" He asked, looking around, noticing all the cheerful plants slowly becoming mud once again. "... Are you killing these?" Max asked, confused.

Jade rolled her eyes. "Of course not, you idiot. He clearly isn't a brute like you."

_____Avius was taken slightly by surprise seeing something, well more so it speaking and not just out right attacking him like most other creatures he had come across. Blinking a few times before he would offer a small smile with a bit of a blush at getting called adorable, though it would fade a bit when the fairy seemed to mistake his poem for a melody of some kind? He was not sure if that was what they had been referring to but would tip his head slightly before adjusting his posture and giving the two new arrivals a proper bow.

"While I thank you for both the compliment on my appearance, and 'melody' I must be partly rude in addressing what I had been speaking of prior was not lyrics but a poem. Also hello, as I do believe your statement 'what's up' was not entirely a question but one of the more broad greetings..."

_____Avius would grin slightly as he rose his head, adjusting his posture as he failed to exactly hide the 'rich upbringing' vibe of his straitened posture and very precise and proper tone that was entirely natural trying not to be offensive or crude despite the words he had spoken. Opening his eyes to get a better look at the two as he would blink a few times to record how they looked before relaxing his posture just slightly reaching a hand out to both the fairy and the beastfolk before him.

"I must also apologize, I went and spoke a fair bit without so much as a proper greeting. I am Avius, a pleasure to meet you..."

_____Avius would let himself trail off, hoping the two would greet him or at least give him a name to refer to each of them as. He would blink a few more times taking note of the crystal sword, an uneasy gulp as he would try to subtly place one hand on the hilt of his own weapon incase the drawn weapon possibly was waved towards him. While he hoped this was not going to end in combat he wanted to be ready incase it might.

"I do, if you would permit like to ask a question. is there reason you called me 'small summer'? And no, I am not killing the plant life to my knowledge there was none here before my magic, sadly I am not strong enough to keep them around for long without straining myself. if you would prefer them around as we spoke I do not mind recreating them?"

_____Avius smiled again as he spoke, his free hand raising as some of the flowers would return into view, slowly growing and budding as if nature was responding to the Faerin but was simply a weak illusion compressing the flowers growth process into a few seconds. If the Fairy or the beastfolk gave him the request he would have the area recovered in flowers and plants, otherwise just keep the small circle around himself. A small defense to also be used if things DID go south for his first social encounter with either another player or the so called 'true to life' NPCs.

The fairy fluttered her wings, letting out a small 'oh' while nodding at the faerin's explanation.

Max simply sheathed his sword on his back, crossing his arms and nodding. "Yeah, it was a greeting. Kinda."

Jade rolled her eyes. "Aw, don't you worry, Avius. My name is Jade, and that thing over there is Dynamax. It is a wonderful pleasure to meet you~" The small fairy stopped midair, doing a curtsy with beautiful sparkles surrounding her.

"Why are you being all giddy with him? You aren't like that with me at all. Besides, I can introduce myself." The boy retorted, frowning and looking at the other boy, offering a hand. "Nice to meet you, name's Dynamax, but Max works."

"Hah? Of course I'm not like that with you, dumbass monkey. This faerin here is very polite and a dear, unlike you, that smells bad and your mouth only spit foul words." Jade crossed her arms, looking at Max, unamused.

"I don't smell." Max frowned at the slander, turning to look at the fairy with a scowl.

Jade clicked her tongue and handwaved at Max. "Anyway-" Jade proceeded. "You are a small summer, because Rhiannon is the Eternal Summer, so her children are just like small summers."

"The plants were pretty, but if they are fake, I don't think you need to make them appear anyway." Max shrugged.

_____The faerin took in the information, he could only smile a little at the playful banter that he had thus far only seen from a distance while at school when two siblings tried to make a friend with the same person at the same time. A nervous scratch to the back of his head as his socially awkward side started to break his normal game persona before he would snap from it pulling a illusionary blue rose from his hair and speaking.

"I should warn you miss Jade, the prettier a rose the sharper it's thorns, Much like some medicine the more bitter the taste the better it aids you. Another good choice is to never judge a person solely on first meeting."

_____Holding the rose only by the cut end of the stem to show the sharp thorns, then having the illusion change to a book that while the cover looked sweet and innocent the pages had been made black and wrote in what looked like blood as it fluttered in the wind before the illusion vanished. Avius did want to warn the fairy to be careful who they trusted, not just because he was one of those two faced people, but because he knew there was many out there.

"If I may be permitted to ask another question of the two of you, well it is more two question that elude my mind that you may be able to address. Are you siblings? You remind me of such, also the other question is what brings you out to these parts? If you are lost also then I will address now asking me for help is unadvised as I've been lost out here for a few weeks now."

_____Avius would admit his own blunder, even going a slight extra to undo the illusion of his 'armor' to show he was still wearing the beginner tunic. He had been lost in the woods since joining the game and just got a decent grasp of his mastery to hide the fact and save his hide a few times by keeping monsters at bay that got tricked by the Illusions. Adjusting his stance as he did not feel his life in danger at the moment as he hoped to keep conversation going or possibly get pointed in the right direction to get to a town.

"I know this very well. After all, my thorns are the sharpest of all~" Jade giggled, swaying her fingers on her hair, twitching her antennae.

Max frowned a bit at the speech. "You are making her say weird stuff, man..." He sighed, averting his eyes, tapping his feet a couple times until the rather embarrassing question came into play, making both of them open their eyes widely before pointing at each other in disdain-

"Sibling of this thing? Never!" They spoke, in unison, crossing ther arms and averting their faces and bodies from each other.

"Ugh- You are a cutie, little summer, but you are wrong, I would never be this thing's sister. I'm much prettier!" Jade protested.

"She took the words out of my mouth, this glorified flying rat just exists to annoy me on daily basis." He huffed, scowling and pursing his lips.

"Hmph-! Anyway, little summer, we aren't lost. After all, I know the forest unlike anyone else!" She clasped a hand against her chest, puffing it confidently.

"Yeah, she is a good compass. And we have a map too." He tapped a finger on his UI, making a map appear on his hands. "Do you need help?"

_____Avius had to fight back a small laugh as the two just further locked in the sibling routine in his mind. What was less fun was how he kept getting called 'little summer' despite being the first to introduce himself. It was not a huge deal but it was enough to make the child puff his cheeks just a little for a moment before returning to the more composed nature of the character he was playing.

"Not so much as needing help, Fate so far as deemed I need to explore the woods by my choices and I'd rather not make Lady fate angry again."

_____The faerin almost wanted to make a attached comment about the fairy calling herself 'prettier' maybe even a flirty action but he did not feel very sure the action would be wise for bridging the gap between his kind personality and his rea life one. So he just smiled and adjusted the Illusion of his gear a bit before tapping a finger to his chin and looking behind the pair towards something else that changed his expression to a more serious one.

"Not to mention if you all send me, likely in the direction you came I'd be having to deal with monsters more likely then not... Since... THAT is there..."

_____Avius would speak and even go as far to point, though only he was likely able to see the floating door that always seemed to show up when monsters would be coming to hunt him again. He still did not understand how he was a magnet to them but he did gather if he kept his curious nature limited and AWAY from the doors he was more safe. Stepping back into the water just slightly as he would wait for the door to drift away before stepping back onto dry land.

"Fate deemed for you to stay lost in the woods? Hell, this fate sucks." Max frowned, crossing his arms and looking at the boy with a sympathetic look on his face.

"Max! That's not what he means!" Jade protested. "He means he is going along with whatever challenge the destiny brings to him, and that we shouldn't meddle, because he is the one that must go through it, so he can grow and learn from it."

"Sounds like a fucking hassle." Max looked at the fairy, raising his eyebrow. "Man... Are you alright? Having to go through things like that? We could at least accompany you, if you want to."

He grinned. "It will be cool to have a boy around for once, all I've met so far were annoying girls and a flying rat."

"I. Am. Not. A. Flying. Rat." She hissed. "And are you implying I'm not a girl? I'm a very feminine and pretty fairy!"

"Yeah right- Wait, what do you mean THAT is there?" Max turned his attention to Avius.

"Of course I- Huh? Yeah, what's THAT?"

_____Avius could only blink a few times, did they not see the floating door? he had gone into them a few times and most times got chased out by some monster or another or had to deal with very complex puzzles that hurt his head. Not to mention the annoying timer each time he went into one that added more stress to the situation then he would have liked. Choosing not to go into much detail over it though until he knew more about them he just gave a soft smile.

"I must bee seeing things then... I would enjoy some company though, from the books I used to read 'camping' trips would always be done with groups and hiking alone was a bad idea, and overall... well everything with 'the great outdoors' suggested doing it with others to increase survival odds..."

_____Avius would speak in a near monotone voice as he rambled about some of the 'survival' guides his father forced him to read until it was locked in his mind incase he had to flee from the family troubles for a while. It did not take long thanks to his mind being a lock box of anything he took in, but it was still annoying with HOW MANY he was forced to read taking away any possible 'social life' the kid could have had. Thumb tapping his palm before his mind caved a bit and he sighed.

"The 'THAT' I was referring to are floating doors that seem to show up from time to time. I've walked into a few of them and got met with monsters, or very complex escape room type things with only ten minutes to find these..."

_____Avius would reach into his scarf and pull out what looked close to fifteen keys, it was only fourteen but one had a nasty habit of splitting due to how he had to get it. Each one had come from a different door he tried to track the movements of, and kept memory of how they looked to try and find a pattern in the madness. Moving to store the keys as he looked at the door as it got closer to them and he instinctually moved along the shore to keep it thirty feet away from himself.

"It's always random what shows up once you open the door but until you touch the knob you don't know much about it or at least I never have. I tried keeping near one a few times but nothing else seems aware they are around and nothing has ever come out until I've touched them making me think it has some sort of 'requirements' that somehow I got cursed with...?"

Max frowned, continuing to look at THAT without able to see THAT. "I think he means that tree?" The boy crossed his arms, tapping his feet and pondering about it.

The fair shook her head, turning to pay attention at Avius, and soon everything made sense.

"Aaaah... The doors little summers can get in..." She tapped her forehead, nodding. "We can't see those doors. Only little summers can get in them, until they have the key to have access to a door. Then, they can stay in the door as long as they want, and even invite people in.

"And what are these doors about, anyway?" Max asked, curious about it. Sounded like it was some opening for a special dungeon, or perhaps something even cooler.

"I am not sure. I may be a fairy, but I am not a little summer." Jade sighed with a shrug.

Max tilted his head, turning his attention to Avius.
"What is inside these doors, Avius? Can you show us?" The boy crossed his arms.

_____Avius let out a sigh, internally he was cursing himself out for saying anything about the door but would start to approach it. He could only prey it was one of the mind game ones, but as his hand touched the door and he vanished from the game world into the little pocket area, well...

_____Ten minutes, gone for ten before he would fall from the sky and land in the water. His Illusion dropping while he rose to stand up in the water grumbling as the once clear liquid was dyed a shade of red and he trudged to the shore line.

"GREEEEAT it's one with a key protector... Just once... I'd love my hopes to NOT be proven wrong..."

_____Avius would not spend much time back in the area before he would start heading towards the door again. he understood mostly what he had to do, but the big issue was the fact the thing was so strong that he could only hold his own for a bit each time it found him. Hand reaching out once again and he would vanish for another ten minutes.

SPLOOSH!
_____Once more the Faerin came crashing into the water. Though this time when he rose back up he was far less happy or proper in his stance. Anger visible as he stormed forward back at the direction he kept vanishing from. Though before he reached his area the faerin would grin as he snapped his fingers having figured it out. A few words before he would vanish again.

"Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice shame on you... I know how to beat you now..."

_____This time, it only took him eight minutes before the door would begin to show. A large black marble door with the carving of a Bident etched in gold. Avius standing to the side of it attaching the new key to his chain looking much worse then his last two times he had shown up for a moment before taking the time to tend his wounds with some magic.

"Sorry, that took longer to deal with then you might have liked... I will say this though even if I beat the key guard the moment we enter he will be back again. They great for training but we only have so long each time before getting booted out so it's time pressure.~"

____Avius would wave for Dynamax and jade to get closer before he would start to turn the key and the three of them would be shifted to the pocket realm, The seventy eighth of the region.

_____He did not take kindly, He was tasked to guard and guard he would as the behemoth statue rose from the throne. He stood, fifteen feet tall with golden tipped Bident aimed at those that sought the key to his master's realm. He would not make the first move, His stride able to reach them wherever they might try to hide in his realm. His strikes would find mark without worry verse such foes.

He would not speak, his voice unneeded, one free hand pointing back towards the door they had come from. His only warning to depart, should they not the Bident would lower, his stance adjusting for a lunge. If they sought his key they would need to slay him for it. unaware this was not his first appearance, Unaware the key was already taken from him, Unaware someone was one step closer to finding the last door of the region, the one-hundred and first door...

Engaging in Combat

Max and Jade watched Avius as he went through the invisible door, simply disappearing from their sight. It took ten minutes before he appeared, falling from the skies, for the surprise of the two of them.

Another ten minutes, and there he fell once more.

"Is he alright?" The fairy fluttered her wings, watching the faerin falling over and over.

"I don't know, but it is kinda kickass how he keep standing up after falling so much." He said, nodding sagely at the resilience of the boy, that kept standing over and over, fiercely trying to fight something that... Well, Max couldn't see, but it was clearly pissing him off.

On the third time, the boy seemed to have figured out something, enough for a door to finally appear before them.

"Oh! There it is!" Jade beamed.

"Oh, that's cool-" He perked up, approaching Avius and then feeling his existence twisting and shifting until he snapped into a strange plane, before a faceless monster that was most likely some type of boss.

"Hell yeah, let's fucking go!" Max jumped twice, chattering like a monkey when finally seeing a challenge, drawing his crystal blade and marching forward, ready to fight as took advantage of approaching the enemy a bit, but not too much.

"Max!" Jade sighed, then looking at Avius. "Alright, Avius, blessed little summer, by the power bestowed on me, you shall be protected from any harm that may try to touch you."

Clasping her hands, she rubbed them, allowing sparkles to wrap around the faerin boy, coating him with a protective and sparkly layer.

_____Avius could only blink a few times watching the monkey act a fool for lack of better wording. Looking over to Jade and giving her 'wait is he always like this?' expression before following after him with a troubled sigh. he had fought this thing solo a few times and did not exactly know how it would react with two foes. Scratching his head a bit before clearing his throat and started to chime a little tune.

"Would you get my back, Would you take my call if I start to crack?~"

_____While he was mostly taking a song from the past it was slightly fitting for the moment. His words imbuing with magic to start trying to heal them as a blur of the enemy got right before them swinging at Dynamax it seemed and it was shocking for Avius who had spent most the time being solo and by such the main target of everything he came across even if he was minding his own elsewhere. Checking to make sure the monkey was ok before speaking.

"Careful, he moves around ALOT and very fast..."

_____Avius called out one of the tips towards Dynamax as he took out his own weapon and got ready for a fight. Sure he had magic and all but this foe rarely let someone stay out of focus for long. The Faerin could only hope the kid was able to hold their own so he was not trying to fight and support at the same time. clicking his tongue to count down how long they had left.

_____They had chose to stay, They had chose to approach and he would do so in kind. Bident tapping the ground once, before he lunged. His speed unlike anything they had seen, his aim to try and impale though his limiter prevented it. His weapon drawing back as he looked between them and considered. While one healed, it was the right target, the one who allowed the other in.

_____But he was designed to be fair, he was designed to act not by choice but by code. He would watch them, waiting for them to swing back to try and counter with his own attack. They would not best him, he would either outlast them, or strike them down before they could win. That was his mission, that was his purpose.

"He is special." The fairy facepalmed, and then peeked at the boy with fluttering wings. "I will be aware of your call, Avius." She responded to his song, taking flight near the monke boy as they approached the combat.

Avius warnings didn't fell into deaf ears, but Max was too into the fight to have time to dodge, with the lunge at him making Max grit his teeth as he barely dodged the attack, getting some slice on his flesh while the other boy healed him.

"Grrr... Thank you, Avius-" He thanked, soon shooting a glare at the monster before them.

"And you, asshole." Max took a step back, soon throwing himself at the enemy in complete reckless abandon.

Leaping at the enemy, Max threw himself with all strength, body slamming and throwing all his weight on them, chattering while sinking in rage.

_____Avius could only sigh internally at how Dynamax was approaching things. Just over there drawing all the fire like a fool, it was better to split the chance of hits so they both could keep dishing out attacks. Clicking his tongue as Avius decided to just roll with the punches for now and do what he could to help break down the enemy before them. Sword flickering in one hand as Avius gripped his cloak and pulled it to start distorting the air around him with his Illusion Evocation form.

"Weightless realm!"

_____Avius spun his blade into the ground, or did he as a second one seemed to still be in his hand, a mirage that cut reality showing the two versions of himself. The area around them shimmering as to only the enemy would the ground start to break apart, his Illusion trying to counter and deny the enemy from moving though he doubted it would work as it had not last time either but it was his main use of the Evoke. Spinning the blade as he would lunge at the brief stagger of his foe with his rapier sword. Gritting his teeth as he was smacked with the weapon and took damage from using Exceed.

_____Arrogance, Inexcusable as the guardian looked to the monkey who dared to demand his death. He had not come to them, He had gave them chance to leave yet mortality chose to demand death of someone simply doing as they had been designed? Bident spinning as the world started to break apart, weak illusion magic would not hold up for more then a brief moment. Time for maybe half a strike to land without getting struck back had the Faerin known better to avoid the spinning weapon if his foe.

_____Shifting his focus to the arrogant one, his large frame once more vanishing if they risked blinking. A sharp pain as Thirty-eight would stab at Dynamax from behind, the smoke of his movement showing he had chose to go all around the pillar to cut off escape and prevent aid from coming in while he stood where he was. Watching from above, the Key holder who would not step down until their champion was slain.

"Oh goddess!" The fairy dodged the attacks aimed at the faerin, and she quickly turned at him. "Avius! are you alright?!" She asked, worriedly.

"Arh... Arf... Jade, try to keep him safe, I'm gonna continue to catch this thing's attention!-" He roared, holding onto the blade tightly, approaching the creature once again, only for them to fade, nearly making him stumble as he was suddenly stabbed from behind, causing him to wince and grit his teeth, shooting a glare at the enemy.

He counter attacked, being quick to try and provoke the enemy, leaving breathing room for Avius to be safe once again, while he tried to catch the boss with his crystalized blade.

_____Avius was going to cut the monkey some slack later, still give him a bit of a lecture for trying to be the sole tank of damage when there was two of them able to do it and Avius had made it clear he could heal them back up if one got a little more dangerously injured. But that was matters for another time as Avius gritted his teeth allowing his magic to take another chunk of his health to strengthen his Illusion evoke form.

"Grand reversal!"

_____The mirage of Avius drawing the blade from the ground as it would drift in the air to stand along the roof, a copy of Dynamax there also though Avius had caught on it was all mostly useless outside a small stagger in the key guardian's judgements. The faerin's frame ducking slightly while driving his Rapier upwards into the inner elbow of the enemy to stop the attack from holding any threat to him and deal a decent chunk of damage for it.

_____Avius wanted to give himself a pat on the pack for getting his gamble to pay off, but sadly like the lecture would be on hold until the dealt with the enemy. They had been making good work so far, but it was also getting scary close to when the guardian would go on his little rampage of attacks. Maybe it be wiser to switch to healing to keep them safe, did he still have another chance to hit before that though? The combat starting to effect his normally composed nature as Avius tried to think what would be the best action. Had Dynamax not been playing the focus, it would have been very bad as the Faerin was lost in his own mindscape and wide open.

_____They still tried to fight him, still tried to claim what was not for them. The guardian would growl if he had vocals that allowed such. Swinging at them both as they landed blows on him, not as dangerous as his sudden charged lunges but still nothing to scoff at. Watching as he could see the faerin was wide open, yet still his mind drew the target to be Dynamax. Frame shifting once more.

_____A full circle back, going to the left side of the chamber to return to where he first struck them at. Bident having to be spun along the backside of his neck to ensure he would still have full power behind the swing, and full power it was as the weapon grazed either side and the center likely taking the air out of the monkey or a good amount of it before dragging back to the ready stance. The guardian was starting to stagger, but was not down and done just yet!

Seeing the enemy was mostly focused on the monkey's reckless abandon, the fairy momentarily flew away from the faerin, focusing on empowering the crystal blade he wielded. "Max, hit where it hurts!" She warned.

The blade beamed in a powerful glow, and the monkey boy, took a step back, drifting to try and dodge the attack, that unfortunately struck him right where it hurted, making him roll and nearly lose his footing, tripping and falling on his knees.

Worried, the fairy nearly called for the boy's name again, but Max stood quickly, roaring and charging in despite being breathless-

"ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARH!"

_____Avius was worried, not so much for his own safety but that of Dynamax's as the fairy just kept egging him on to draw the focus like she wanted him dead. If he just sat back and attacked the enemy also it would likely result in the monkey getting booted from the room and him have to finish the fight with whatever he had left. Seeing as this whole 'reentry' was to allow him to see the realm Avius clicked his tongue and switched evoke forms.

"Harmonic resonance!"

_____Hair shifting to pink, much like the colors of his cloak and eyes as Avius prayed to whatever higher powers existed that Dynamax did not turn to look. It was the best way the Faerin could help, but god did he hate the color choice. Pink accenting white was NOT ok, maybe the other way around but as it currently was it made the faerin's inner self scream such an atrocity was being caused by him. Waving as this form did not need to sing as a harp began to play from seemingly nowhere.

_____Still they attacked without relent, but with each strike the guardian grew more prepared, more used to how they worked, and a step closer to having delayed them long enough. Bident glowing red hot as the massive guard spun it along the ground leaving a trail of fire in his wake. Normally he would dash while it dragged to stab each target, but the monkey still provoked and would receive both strikes.

_____While one struck with full force once more, the other was likely less harmful as it was aimed mostly towards the faerin as if the guardian was trying to do something he had not this whole time. His creator may have made him one way but with sentience he grew in strength, grew with each 'fight' even if to him this was the first one entered his domain. He was weakened, but still fighting with all he had.

Jade's wings fluttered, swaying midair to try and dodge the trail of fire. "Wait, be careful!" She called.

Max, who gave the fairy no ears, felt the strikes sinking deep into his body, surpassing his defenses and nearly knocking him away, forcing him to sink his blade into the ground and interrupt the thrown.

His body ached, starting to falter to the Auto-Assist's limitations, until Avius healing power wrapped on his body.

"Hey, thanks!" He thanked the faerin for the healing, then gripping his sword to try and thrust it into one of the enemy's weakspots... only for the blade to get stuck on it, leaving the monkey boy momentarily defenseless.
