The man seemed more annoyed at them than she had expected. A little bit of criticism at his over eagerness to trash talk this Chad guy behind his back and he was telling her how she shouldn't be so judgmental and then walking away. She frowned. Originally she had had a positive opinion of the man, but now his response had changed her mind. He seemed more to her like a child who spoke like an adult but lacked the emotional maturity to take even the smallest amount of criticism. She wasn't sure what else she had expected from someone who didn't know who Endra, the greatest of the gods, was.

She turned, facing the woman. "I am Athena, priestess of Endra, the Goddess of justice." She smiled, driving the thoughts of Seto from her mind. Although she had an initial opinion he was correct in that she should reserve judgement until getting to know him better. Perhaps he had just woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

She hoisted her sword up, leaning it against her shoulder. The priestess cocked her head slightly to the side.

"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance..." She paused, waiting for the blue haired woman to introduce herself.

He moved away from the two initially, wanting to reignite his journey once more but the concern of the young woman continued to mount within the confines of his mind. Did she get lost? Perhaps she had injured herself? Or perhaps worst of all, did she get herself killed? He had no idea, and that thought alone worried him. He barely knew the woman but having another die on his watch so soon after his return was unacceptable, especially when he was fulfilling his penance like duties as the former duke of the region. He shook his own head at thought. There really was no choice, not that he was complaining really. He wasn't some gallant knight in shining armor like the priestess held for Chad but that didn't mean he let innocents die under his watch If possible. Once the man collected his thoughts, he looked to his right hand and began focusing. Allowing his energy course through his body once more, he soon found his hand engulfed in a intense, violent looking white aura. For a instance, he watched the aura tear around his hand like a chainsaw before he pulled his attention to the vegetation that was sitting before him. Raising his right hand a few feet away from his chest, he took aim before lunging himself forward. In a instant, he tore himself through the conflicting tree's and vegetation that was in his way. Putting haste in every step he took, he would continue much of the same as he began traversing the thick forest towards her last known location. He would continue this for the next several minutes, leaving a crudely made path behind him in the process. Regardless how he felt about the priestess or that new player, he had no intention of leaving them behind for long, even If he was determined to find the small woman.

"Well this is just dandy," Harveste muttered. She'd gone to look for some herbs because the conversation about Chad wasn't interesting enough for her. The merchant had the bright idea to tell the small Faerin about some herbs that grew in the forest according to legend more than anything else. So, Harveste had opted to look for them for him.

Nature magic, though, wasn't going to get her out of this mess. She'd stumbled quite literally on a hole in the ground- and now, her foot was stuck in it. The bears had left the scene, leaving her to fend for herself. Now, she was stuck. At least for now she was.

Wanting to calm her frustration, she began to sing a song. Any nearby flowers began to bloom brilliantly in reaction, as she wasn't fully controlling her magic. The song was a soothing melody, and it eased her heart rate smoothly. As it came to an end, though, she stared at the ground.

"Give me my foot back!" She shouted at the hole. With all her strength, she couldn't pull herself free. "What's the point of martial arts if they can't get me unstuck from this stupid hole?"

After another ten minutes of nothing, his subconscious was beginning to get the best of him, causing him to act more irrational than usual, much to his distain. The more he thought about the small woman in trouble, the more rash he became as he tore through the encroaching vegetation. With great haste however, and the combination of his rash like behavior, swinging his empowered hand in a wildly like fashion, It didn't take very long before his ears began hearing a soothing melody in the distance, peaking his curiosity. Now at ease, he refined his step as he turned towards the source of the song and began making his way towards it, making the assumption that It was most likely the small woman. Who else could It be? These were called the wildlands for a reason. As he drew closer and the singing becoming louder, his eyes began to take notice of the strange phenomenal that was occurring all around him, flowers blooming in all directions, even in area's where flowers couldn't grow. He initially batted a eyebrow but after a few seconds, he came to the sneaking suspicion It was most likely the small woman, having remembered she was a top tier mage that specialized in nature magic. With this, he quickly realized he was on the right track, thus a faint smile formed on his face as he continued towards her. When he finally found her a minute later, he found himself completely at ease, even as his crimson eyes picked up the situation the small woman had found herself in. That didn't stop him however from making a hand gesture as he approached her with a relieved expression.

There you are, I was starting to get worried, thinking you got yourself injured or something around those lines. Good thing I came looking for you.

Still retaining a relived expression, he made his way over and kneeled before her, taking another glance at her stuck foot. He rose a eyebrow as his glance quickly turned back towards her.

Stuck? Let me see If I can do anything about it.

Saying that with a hint of confidence but also care, he briefly took his attention off the woman and on the torn hole in the ground, quickly revealing a massive tree root near the bottom. Even more surprisingly, he saw her foot had somehow been trapped under it. Once he learned this, he inadvertently glanced at her with a skeptical look, not really knowing how she didn't see this before. Regardless however, once he was finished being skeptical of her, his demeanor changed back to the way It had been a minute ago.

Sorry about this....but brace yourself alright?

Musing in a caring tone, he returned his attention to the hole and threw his right arm into it. It would take several moments but once he managed to free her trapped foot just enough from it's imprisonment, he quickly pulled himself up, wrapped his arms around her waist and plucked her foot straight out of the ground, holstering her entire body up in the process. Once he realized how close he was however, especially towards her face and chest, he immediately freed her from his grasp, his cheeks turning slight red along the way.

Your uh....foot was somehow tangled underneath a thick tree root. I know your probably fine but how is your foot? Do you need me to carry you back to the wagon? Or are you fine to walk?

He said that while looking away, as If he was somewhat embarrassed.

"Brace myself? What are you doing?" She asked, confused by his words. She could sense he was going to help her, but wasn't sure how. When his arm plunged into the hole, she felt skittish- but she was fine, if not a little pink in the cheeks, when she found his arms around her torso.

She looked up at him blankly for a moment, noticing redness in his face that was slightly more obvious than her own. When she landed on the ground upon being released, she started kicking the air to make sure she regained mobility in her leg.

Laughing nervously, she smiled up at him. "My foot feels fit as a fiddle now. Well, mostly. That root really gripped it tight, so it hurts a bit, but it's better than being stuck!" Her grin grew as she took a few steps ahead of him, twirling to look at him. With her hands behind her, clasping each other, she bent at the hips slightly while keeping her head upwards to him. "Thanks for the help, Seto! You're a life saver! Literally- if anything attacked me while I was stuck, I might not survive so easily! I mean, I could sing to get the plants to help but-"

She paled for a second, then turned a deeper red. "...If I'd known it was a root snagging my foot... I could've just sang to remove it, couldn't I?"

Being freed from her imprisonment, he watched the small woman as she kicked up some dirt with her now freed foot, all the while he wiped his hands his together to wipe away any lingering dirty still on his hands. When she finished, she proclaimed her foot was good as new for the most part. He found himself a little relieved at her word despite holding the power to heal her If the opposite had ran true. He found himself a little surprised though when she twirled her body towards him with a grin. When she thanked him however, he nodded.

Hmhmm, no problem. It's what I do.

He saved her but he figured he be doing alot more of that from now. If someone called him a Knight or Paladin however, they would certainly earn his wrath. Simply doing what he thought was right required no special recognition or tittle. Only fools tried to be heroes and he certainly wasn't that. When the small woman commented on the obvious however, he couldn't help but chuckle a bit.

Probably....Well, lesson learned right?

Shrugging with a much more laid back smile, he tilted his head back in the direction he came before turning back towards the woman, trying his hardest to ignore her flushed cheeks.

Ready to head back? Or does this Lady need to be carried?

He said that with a faint, playful like smile. While he waited, he made a quick observation of the immediate area for any possible threats.

Harveste grinned eagerly when he told her he was happy to help. Or at least, that was how she took his words. She curtsied slightly once in a more normal position, never taking her big eyes off him. "I can still be grateful, normal for you or not. I'm feeling extra lucky today now, though. I met such a nice person!"

She wouldn't call him a knight in shining armor- no, he was just a good samaritan in her eyes. Knights in shining armor and princes that were especially helpful didn't exist, even in her fantasies. She saw people as simply that- people.

"Lesson learned indeed!" She giggled a bit, glad he was laughing off her foolishness with her, or at least smiling it away. "Let me just heal my foot real quick, then we can go. Unless you wanted to carry me, that is. I certainly wouldn't say no if you're serious about it."

Grinning a more goofy grin, she kept her sight on him with curious eyes. Had he been serious, or joking? She wanted to see what he'd do- and so she waited, just for that moment.

With his head over his shoulder, he was still examining the immediate vicinity for any potential threats when she treated him to genuine gratitude, something he hadn't been expecting, especially not today after meeting the other two, and that caught him off guard slightly. Regardless, when he finished surveying the area, he casted his eyes upon hers, just as she giggled, citing she had learned her lesson. This time, he raised a eyebrow in a pleasant way when she said that and more, even when she further joked, commenting she was seemingly content with him carrying her If he wanted. Keeping his gaze on her with a raised brow, he kept his smile as his tone turned more serious, If only by a bit.

Hmm? Why would joke about something like that? A true gentlemen never goes back on his word.

Gesturing her with a calm demeanor, he placed his hands on his hips, showing he was seemingly interested in her response. He didn't know If Lady Luck was on his side today but he was thankful to meet a individual that felt more human. As compared to the other two, she was certainly different, and in a good way. She was energic yet friendly at the same time. Combined that with her demeanor, she reminded him greatly of Sola whom used to act in a similar fashion. Thankfully for his sanity, this one seemed a fair bit more mature than her. That reminded him, he had never asked her name for some reason. He have to remedy that.

By the way, I never caught your name. I should have asked you before but I wasn't thinking about it at the time so apologies.

Hearing himself ask that, he made a quiet, disappointed like sigh towards himself. He really should have asked her back when they were at the camp.

She crouched down finally to heal her foot, humming a gentle melody and putting her hand so that it hovered over the injured area. A vine wrapped around it from the ground, tightening its grip on her until it melted into a green colored energy that seeped into her shoe and then into her skin itself. When she stopped humming, the pain had faded away, and she extended her foot again just to make sure it was fully healed up.

Standing back up, she laughed a little bit. "A true gentleman, hm? You make it sound like you assume I'd know a thing or two about them." She did, of course, know some people she'd consider 'true gentlemen'- but most of them were fictional characters. This man was far from a figment of her imagination, though he could have been acting a part much like she often tried to to no avail. She didn't know any better about him than to just assume this was how he normally was.

"My name is Harveste," She answered with a smile. Her voice was a bit less laughter filled now, but still on the bubbly side. "The pleasure is mine."

Walking up to him, she let her smile soften. "Well, since you offered, I almost feel it would be rude to refuse. Plus, you have much, much longer legs than I do- so it'll be easier than me having to run after you as you get further ahead of me." She began to hum again, but only for a second. "Let's get back before the others worry or get hurt."

Despite the paranoia that was running rampant within the confines of his mind, he was strangely at ease again when Harveste began humming her gentle melody. It was only a feeling he felt when he was with his Lioness. Unfortunately, she wouldn't ever be at his side again, despite the fact he was closer to her now than he had ever been in the past. To anyone else, It would probably make no sense, and It wasn't as If he could explain it either. He supposed It didn't matter however, as long as It brought comfort to him, especially when she waiting on the other side for him. Regardless of what he felt about his precious Lioness, he seemingly returned to reality when he heard Harveste's laughter, triggering his head to jerk from side to side before he calmed down and returned to normal or whatever his sense of normality was. At her response, he tilted his head sideways and began caressing the tip of his chin with his left hand.

Well generally speaking, most women tend to know...unless....hmmmmm.....Could it be you actually like the ruffians instead?

With a fading smile, he jokingly chuckled to himself. When she introduced herself however, he turned much more serious but chose not to say anything. He instead made a simple nod of the head before she moved on, taking the imitative to approach him. Keeping his crimson eyes on her movement, he remained indifferent, emotionless even at her decision to have him carry her. If that was her decision than so be it, he had nothing against it, he was the one who offered after all. Regardless though If she was ready or not, when she turned her back to him, he took the initiative and approached her from behind. With his two arms, he swept her off her feet and brought her in close, resting her small, child like body against his chest. Once she was sitting comfortably in his arms, he peered down, his eyes displaying an aura of seriousness.

Comfortable? Cause this won't take long.

Making a faint smirk to go with his eyes, the man turned his body in the direction he came and set off, preventing Harveste from giving him her answer. Though the path was crudely made, primitive even compared to Harveste's methods, It only took ten or so minutes before they arrived back at camp.

"I think it's more because I live under a rock with fantasy being my only real company?" Harveste mused her answer carefully, internally pondering just how pathetic she must have sounded. It was the truth, though. The woman behind the childish Faerin almost never left her house without it being for a doctor appointment or a meeting with her editor. She spent all her time reading and writing, and when that wasn't enough, she played fantasy games of various sorts- Terrasphere being only an example of her addiction. For Harveste, this life was much more interesting than the real world.

After the initial embarrassment of being carried close to the man's chest- no, near his heart- Harveste soon found the position soothing in a way, as she nuzzled her head against his chest to listen to his heartbeat as he sped off down the crude path back to their initial meeting point. Unconsiously, she began to hum a gentle melody.

Once they'd arrived, the small woman stopped humming and began to look around, spotting @Alice and @Athena. Not bothering to wriggle free from Seto's carry, she laughed a bit and waved to the two women. "Sorry, did I make you two worry too?"

Once they arrived at the campsite and the little maiden that was clutched up against his chest had stopped humming, he found himself recovering from his somewhat dazed state. He wasn't particularly amused when she waved at the two giggling, but what was he to do? She was in his arms after all. Cracking a supportive smile, he approached the two whom were still standing around the wagon.

Apologies for leaving you two in an abrupt fashion but I was starting to fear for Harveste's life here when she didn't return. Luckily that wasn't the case.

Considering how he found her, he thought best not to mention it. He was sure Harveste would appreciate it. He too would probably feel the same had she found him like that. Regardless, as his left eyebrow rose and his head tilted slightly, he kept up his smile as he continued.

Now I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news and break up this little party but me and Harveste both have our duties to attend to, her gathering rare herbs and me returning to the ruins of my old home. Neither are particularly exciting I'm afraid....but you have to make a choice. If your intention to leave this place as soon as possible, than you may want to go with Harveste. There's no doubt it take time to cleanup the ruins, bury the dead and remove any ill casted curses that have afflicted the area....but....that is my responsibility.

He said all that in a mostly serious tone and yet, despite that, It seemed he had forgotten the fact that he still held Harveste in his arms, still clutched up against his chest. Normally his cheeks would be a flush pink in such a situation, indicating some level of embarrassment but right, he was too serious to take notice. This was a serious ordeal after all. He couldn't just the leave two now, not without knowing what their plan was at least.
