Tap tap tap, endlessly did it go on as she awaited, her right foot restless as she awaited for Ronja to come by at their agreed time. She kept going over and over the UI, the voice mail she just sent, and back again to her friend list.

After having confirmed they DO sell a bunch of weapons and something akin to what Ronja declared, Fiora believed it best to just wait for the mana to come back online. Their last chat before logging off left some bittersweetness on her lips, a strange flavour that left an incognita once fate's thread was severed at the moment she logged off, and even now it's yet to reappear, as if it had accomplished it's goal or something.

To imagine Fate could be so lazy on it's inner workings...

"OI! YA' GONNA STAND OUT THERE OR COME IN AND BUY SOMETHIN', TRAVELER?!" Elevir, the shopkeeper, screamed back outside, rolling his pipe across his lips after puffing smoke out of his nostrils like a bull after red crossed it's sights.

"NOT. YET. CALM. DOWN!" She shouted back, turning her back on the shopkeeper who merely groaned in distaste as the woman literally blocked the entrance with her presence alone.

"I AM CALM!"

Her eyes squinted for a second as a familiar sight started to approach, these blue locks were impossible to miss across the pletora of standard looking villagers, let alone her size. "About time! Where were you? I thought we said past twelve we would log in, what happened?" Did her lunch delayed or something? She tried not to sound irritated about it, but her voice let out a bit more emotion than she hoped at first, and self-awareness struck too late for her to apologize. "Eh, I wasn't waiting for too long anyways." What's a few extra minutes, or hours at that.

Ronja was hurriedly rushing toward the supposed shop, with the Magitech jets on her feet erupting and sparkling a cyan fire and steam, startling some Landers that obviously weren't used to Magias wandering around as if it was common.

Her eyes shifted around, flickering while in Investigation Mode, spotting each townsfolk that was around, hoping to spot the one goliath woman that she wished to find.

Eventually, she heard the familiar voice yelling, and her eyes sparkled as she continued to blast her jets to speed herself up while stumbling and struggling to keep up the pace.

When she got to Fiora, she was almost falling already, but somewhat managed to not fall face first when she finally got to her. "Fiora! Ronja is here!" She said with a smile, panting and then pausing at Fiora's words.

Her smile faded for a moment, and she rubbed her neck. "Ronja was busy with something. Sorry." She said, not elaborating and then looking at Fiora again.

"Ronja will try to not get too late next time!" She said with a nod, then glancing at the shop next to them.

"This is the place?"

Little Ronja came at her at full speed like a damn jet, and all she could do is watch how she almost went face first against the floor. Quote 'almost', and neither could she make any efforts to catch her if the opposite were true, too perplexed at this new skill the magia pulled out of nowhere. She tried to listen, but her mind delayed any possible answer for a few seconds longer, and everything hit at once. First, the shock, then the squint on her eyes, and finally a smile once half-a-promise was made, or so would she hold her up to if she came late again!

"Busy busy eh? Just -try- not to get late again, or I'll spam your voicemail until you get tired of hearing me out. At least log in to send me a headsup or somethin'" She huffed, but couldn't feign offense for longer as she pointed into the general store and guided her in.

"Yup, this is the garbage bin I told ya' about." She mocked outloud, mischievous smile kept a secret from Elevir as the man gritted his teeth and just sighed off at the petulant attitude of one of her most despicable of customers.

"Son of a goblin..." He cleared his throat later on as a little bit of blue reached the corner of his eyes and he leaned over the quite tall counter to notice Ronja, tipping his hat on her direction as his entire demeanour went from pestered to joyful vendor. "Welcome miss, to Elevir's emporium. If there is anything ya' need, I got it or I will get it for ya', for a reasonable price. Say... Are ye the one this big blonde monkey is buying a weapon for?" He whispered, a hand to cover his lips as if to add secrecy to it, comical in essence.

"HEY I HEARD THAT." Fiora combusted, an accusatory finger pointed straight back at him, who hunched his shoulders then disregarded it to lean back on his chair.

"Quite a special choice for a weapon I gotta say. It's one of the few of it's class, as it's pretty new in design after you all travelers disappeared and left quite a mess around the world." He made mention of it, a little tale one couldn't tell if it was real or not with how he weaved it, but the severity on his voice could only tell there were no games being played here.

"It's on the top shelf on the third row at your right, I keep it out of reach, but I bet your friend can get it for ya'"

"...I'm not that tall. Just use these rocket boots you got and call it a day."
She shrugged back at Ronja. It certainly was tall, but she wasn't about to just pick her up for them to reach it. Besides, curiosity pinched her to see these jet like feet at work from this close.

Ronja averted her eyes for a moment, letting out a sheepish giggle. "Ronja will try... Sorry, when she gets busy it is hard to log in to warn about anything-" After clearing out her mistake, she glanced at the store she was guided to, tilting her head and leaning in as she stepped into it, just right after Fiora. "That's a pretty fancy garbage bin if you ask Ronja." She added innocently to the joke, looking at Fiora with eyes flickering, blinking twice as she turned to look at the vendor.

"Blonde monkey? It is Fiora who will buy her something. A weapon for someone starting in the adventure business!" She said, as neared the counter, getting on the tip of her toes to bend against it, crossing her arms on top of it.

As she waited for a reply, Ronja's eyes clicked like a camera, with her pupils opening and closing as she shifted to look at the shelf that was pointed out, then glancing up at Fiora when she sorta pushed her into using her boot jet.

She turned to look at Fiora, blinking twice. "Ronja will probably crash against it and bring everything down with her. Can you grab it for Ronja, please?" She asked.

"Garbage BIN?! Watch your tongue little lady, this is a one-of-a-kind unique shop. We sell only the best of the best here, and I take pride on that one fact!" Elevir jumped, his tone took a rise for the inspirational as he bloated with pride and a smile to match his ectastic demeanour all the more.

Fiora broke into a laughter at the subtle jab Ronja gave the shop. If hers were in-your-face kind of insults, Ronja's were subtle like poisoned tea on a king's cup. Things begun to look far less boring right from the get go just for that.

Once Ronja leaned over the counter, Elevir did the same with a perked up eyebrow as he listened, features warming up, as if despite the quick jab the magia pulled, she could still be offered much more respect than the big gal. "Starcalled traveler, I knew it since I first saw you. No one from down here would want to tag along with that mo-" He paused, eating his words back down once Fiora shot a glare back at him, fiery and impatient. "That good lookin' knight lady over there, yup! And well, you are a tad strange but let me give ya' some advice and don't go recklessly rushing into danger. You all new adventurers should start slow." He dropped. Yet Fiora was convinced he had to be some kind of stupid NPC, for this sounded like the most unhelpful tip a loading screen would give you in any other game.

Just don't fight what you are not meant to at the start of the game. Right.

Fiora shrugged once Ronja decided against the idea, winking back at her, akin to a 'leave it to me!' And she quickly set herself to climb the shelf, setting her two feet on third to highest row with one mighty jump and grasping the slingshot from it's trigger. "Goin' down, catch!" She called out and let the fancy weapon fall and let gravity do it's thing, in hopes the magia would catch it.

Unfortunately, the rest of the stuff begun to come down as the row Fiora put her feet on cracked to her weight, the wood long gone without maintenance and a nasty hole on the underside and some wet patches had weakened it's integrity enough to send a whole bunch of things, breakable or not, towards the floor, including herself along the way.

The whole show gave mixed feelings to Elevir between the falling blonde having karma bite her back, and the merchandise, priority taking over as money got lost with all that ruckus...

Being called a starcalled traveler gave Ronja goosebumps she didn't even know her Magia nature could offer. The fidget from it made her metallic shoes do a timid clank clank on the wodden floor.

"Even though you called his shop a trash bin, he still compliments you. Ronja thinks this man is a very nice gentleman." She said with a smile, making it tough to know if it was another kind of jab or if she was being genuine.

She then turned to look at the man again. "Ronja is a very cautious person. Don't worry! This is why she is here, ready to try and use your wonderful goods!" Ronja nodded eagerly.

Maybe she was being genuine since the start.

It was just tough to know.

When Fiora complied on picking the item up from high above, Ronja had another fidget, this time more excited than timid, following her and opening her hands to readily catch the slingshot tossed at her. Ronja's eyes brimmed looking at its design, joy filling them as she turned the slingshot around, seeing it from every perspective allowed.

"It... it is perfect!" She beamed, turning to Fiora just before she crashed down with an abrupt destruction, wincing at it and widening her eyes as she hurriedly approached her friend. "A-Are you okay, Fiora?" She asked, concerned.

Fiora turned to look back at Ronja, with a small pinch of betrayal all over her face, at least until eye contact was stablished and, realizing what the Magia had said in-between words with that statement, she smiled back and winked once caught up with no further delays to her antics. It surprised her just how smooth and unpredictable Ronja could be, looking so timid yet so capable of concealing such maliciousness...

"Well thank you lil' miss. See? You could learn SOMETHING from her, sun-locks!" Elevir called out, remarking that last nickname, to which Fiora... Didn't give much of a care except for one rude, dismissive wave, mindset put onto how she would climb the shelf in the first place, giving it a few testing tugs at first, get a clear sense of it's density this way. "Bah. You don't need to worry with a weapon of mine. It's tried and well used equipment and that means reliable in the words of an adventurer!" His price always felt justified because of this. Most were used goods, but weaponry? Either fresh out of the box, or sold by some traveler who found a better replacement. Either way worthy in the hands of the blue flower yet to grow into a full-fledged, experienced adventurer!

The catastrophe left in her wake though left her deaf for a second as pain took relevance, Ronja's hurried approach had her waving a hand around like a madwoman to inform her of her well being before planting her hands against the wooden planks to lift herself back up, albeit with a slight shake on her knees. It still felt surreal to adapt to the pain of a body that isn't her own, and yet... Feels just like she's lived in this world for her entire life.

"I'm fine, ugh. Elevir, this is your fucking fault I'm not paying for jack shit this time." She groaned in between her breath, and the man shook his head as if the loss of coin shook harder than any foul mouthed traveler could.

"Alright alright, I won't charge you for it. Fifty coins it is only."

It physically hurt to listen to that, as if her pockets couldn't take that hard of a blow right now, but a glance back to Ronja and that tactical little weapon of mass destruction just felt iconic enough to not waste money on. well- What gives, i'll farm it back.

Ronja blinked twice, staring concernedly at Fiora with her eyes clicking thrice like a camera eagerly taking pictures of everything it saw. She leaned in closer, holding the slingshot closer to her chest while her metal shoes clank clanked the floor sheepishly, seeing the resilience of the woman with brimming eyes. "To think you can still stand after this fall, Ronja is impressed at your abilities." She smiled.

And when the purchase was confirmed, Ronja beamed the smile even wider. "Yay, yes!" She hopped once, twice, bubbling in both warmth and joy before wrapping Fiora in a grateful hug "Ronja is so glad, thank you!" Ronja chirped, looking up at her friend and giggling.

"Now Ronja can start putting her Masteries into practice. Ronja won't let you down-" She said, then turning to the shopkeeper. "Ronja will make good use of this slingshot, it will become a legendary weapon in the future, Ronja tells you that!"

"Don't do that, ugh, I'm not photogenic." Fiora called out, having taken notice of how Ronja's eyes blinked, as if she was saving every second of her humilliation like some snapchat or something, pushing herself back up to her feet and dusting her clothes off. "You should have seen me my first few days, I rolled down a cliff. This is nothing." She chuckled, although she didn't intend it, she practically showed off to Ronja, and that was motivation enough to bite her tongue and keep any pain deep inside, cool factor demanded it.

What she didn't expect was the out-of-nowhere embrace from the magia, the bubbly Ronja crashed right against her, on possibly the first time she ever had a virtual hug, and yet it felt even better than a real one, as depressing as the thought felt to her. Fiora's hand rested atop of her blue hairs, ruffling them for a few seconds as she pulled up a confident smirk to mask her surprised expression once Ronja looked up at her like a hero who just saved the day. Honestly? She could get used to the sight. "Don't even mention it." Again, saying more wouldn't be as cool, right?

"Good for you missy, why don't you try to check out with ol' man Sandrum. He's the local blacksmith. Costly bastard, but the man works steel like no one, I thiink he needed someone to pick some stuff for him but the last errand boy he sent didn't come back." Elevir dropped, his voice taking on a much more worried stance as his muscles tensed just a little bit. It wasn't strange for Sandrum to send people out to face some danger, but it always concerned him all the same, they weren't that many around the town and less hands meant less work got done. Everyone lifted their weight, even the young and aspiring.

"Yeah yeah sounds good." Fiora didn't waste a beat on the man's babbling, waving him off and being quick to take Ronja by the wrist just to drag her outside with her before either of them broke in conversation once again, letting go off her as soon as they did. "Phew, Okay, I'm not dealing with Elevir anymo-"

"I CAN STILL HEAR YOU. YOU JUST STEPPED OUTSIDE OF MY DOOR, YOU THINK I'M DEAF PAST THE SHOP?!"

"I DON'T CARE!"
She screamed back, a growl coming from the depths of her throat as her brows crossed into one nasty frown. "These NPCs are gonna make me go nuts goddammit. Alright, do you want to do whatever this idiot suggested or should we head straight for the city? I mean, detours are nice, and if it's a blacksmith maybe we get something out of him, eh?" Money first, anything else later. It would be a good idea to use this as target practice for Ronja, all things considered.

At Fiora's reaction to her artificial eyes, Ronja engaged playfully- "Hehe, photo, photo~" Ronja made her eyes click some more, holding her cheeks and tilting her head as if her skull was a giant two lens camera. It was weird that she could do those things, and for that moment she wasn't quite sure why her eyes acted like a camera for most of part.

Maybe someday she would know.

When the reveal of the cliff fall came, Ronja blinked, clicking one last time and staring at her dumbfounded while she was still hugging her. "R-Ronja would be careful about rolling down on cliffs. Though, it is still impressive you are still fine." She admitted, fairly surprised about the brief story. The ruffle on her hair brought another giggle out of her, and she slowly released her friend from the hug, shifting to look at the blacksmith with a puzzled and worried expression.

"Didn't come back?" She muttered, casting a glance at Fiora as she suddenly had her wrist held, being brought out of the shop quickly as she turned to wave to the merchant, that once again had a fierce exchange with the blonde.

When her wrist was released, Ronja nearly lost the balance again, but this time she held firmly on Fiora's arm before hooking their forearms together, just as she used to do in real life with others.

"... Ronja is worried about this errand boy." She muttered, looking up at Fiora's eyes. "Ronja thinks we should try to see with the blacksmith what that is about-"

"HEY no photo photo!" She called out, embarassment all over her reddening cheeks as her hands held up to her face to hide it from Ronja's visceral photographic attack, spreading her fingers just enough to get a look at her as she started to pose around like a big ol' camera, at least until she would eventually stop and give her a moment to stand up and pick up her pride after that.

Something about the girl's apparent innocence felt so real, and her concern so believable, she couldn't crack a joke or a tease at that. "Fine fine, I'll be more careful." That much she was willing to offer. Although it was still a game so, it's not like that would kill her if it ain't that high, right?

The moment they made their exit, every single word the magia begun to mutter out got muffled as Fiora's only focus remained on her little arm and how it locked with hers, her brain needed a reset after that, blinking twice like a computer finally booting up. "Huh?" Confusion amde evident how little attention she paid. "Ooooh, yeah yeah I didn't get a thing of what you said, but to the blacksmith we go!" She nerveously chuckled as the pair would be set on track, only...

Fiora didn't ask for any directions, and when they started to wander off around for longer than usual her pride would finally shatter with a loud 'tsk!' "So uhh, where is the blacksmith. I don't think I ever seen 'em. Well not like we need it, I think there is a board somewhere where people around put petitions and requests and stuff, maybe we should check that out see if we find his name?" It sounded like the best thing to do, unless Ronja felt like talking to NPCs.

Ronja would keep the memory of Fiora rejecting the idea of being taken pictures of forever. It was a lovely sight she couldn't give up on having in her repertoire of 'what makes her life a bit more fun'. More happiness bubbled in Ronja's heart when her concern was actually taken into account, and a wide smile crossed her lips as she nodded eagerly.

"You better be!" She said, a bit in a scold, and then turning her expression into an even bigger scold-ish one when Fiora answered her.

"You aren't paying attention to what Ronja is saying-" Ronja facepalmed slightly with her free hand, but didn't take it personal. Probably something was bothering her to a point that her attention span was being dragged away by something else entirely unrelated.

The walk started to even become a bit better as she got the practice by force, considering the wandering was lingering much more than she expected.

"Ronja would agree with some quest board." She said, finally sounding a bit bored. Something that was rare in Terrasphere.

Looking around, it was easy to spot a tavern nearby, with Ronja tugging her softly toward it. "Here, taverns always have quest boards!" She said, trying to approach the tavern as quickly as possible, eagerly getting into the building that somehow wasn't crowded yet.

The first scolding she expected, felt normal, but then out of a sudden Ronja felt like multiplying her scolding powers, and Fiora leaned back as if the very force of her pouty face pushed her backwards. "W-what?! Huh?!" She replied with hesitant strength. She fucked up, right? That must be it, but how?

The answer came shortly after, and it eased her to see her facepalm like that, rolling her tongue out and mocking her with a wink. "Nnnope." And a big dumb smile to match her innocence. "Hey it ain't my fault you speak real fast okay, I got distracted that's all." Not so far from the truth, playing her half-lie along with a convincing shrug. Or at least convincing for herself.

The boredom on Ronja's tone had her hairs all rise up like electricity just surged from her. Why did it made her panic this much? Would the magia just run off and leave her with this invisible red thread she is yet to solve on her own? Think Nico, think. Say something smart.

"Aaall about the road baby, not about the... Endline? I forgot how the saying goes." Somehow, she managed to make that sound worse than it did in her head.

Fuck...

Fortunately, Ronja came to her aid as she gave spot to the tavern "Bingo!" She exclaimed asthe two of them rushed in. By this time of the day most people were 'working', or at least followed a specific routine pattern to simulate that in a classic fantasy world, yet some of these 'NPCs' still could be seen around, from the local drunkard to the lazy potbellies that gathered for their daily reunions as the 'tankard crew' like they used to call themselves around Honeyhome.

The board was held by many nails and even more held the announcements and requests from the inhabitants of the cozy town. Fiora crossed her arms, scanning them each with her Investigation Mode as the handwriting would became readable as her interface translated it, and once the bits of information Elevir gave them connected with one fresh request, Fiora ripped it out only to find there were many of the same, as if the blacksmith had been pinning these over and over, the paper showing itself worn to represent the time passed.

"Well then, it said we needed to head northwest I think. It seems he sent someone to the mines but didn't come back, but the men who worked on the mines won't come back until tomorrow. Seem like there is a shortage on staff to transport the product, and on gold too..." Assumptions and theories made up as they both headed through the thickness of the forest, petition on hand, where all of Fiora's attention gravitated towards.

"Hey, have you ever shot one of these before?" Finally did jade orbs find Ronja once again, and the slingshot she bought about twenty minutes earlier. Sure it looked in great condition, but masteries aside, she had to make proper use of it, right? "I guess we will find out soon. Oh by the wayt he request had a warning but I ripped it by accident. Something about stone- Not really exact when we are going into a goddamn mine, right?" She smirked, the sheet dematerializing into nothingness as she stored it back into her inventory.

Fiora's reaction to Ronja's scolding face actually made it fade for a moment, with both of her hands going above her mouth, suppressing a quiet laugh. The faces the blonde did were unforgettable.

Click.

Now even more unforgettable.

"Ronja didn't notice she talked quickly. She will work on it to make it easier for you." Ronja said with a nod, tugging on her arm and then looking away from Fiora, focusing on the petition.

"It is the journey, not the destination that matters." She muttered the lie.

At that point, Ronja was already trying to be on her own feet without using Fiora as a support, though nothing stopped her from holding onto the woman when she innevitably started tripping.

"That is sounding more and more intriguing the more time passes." Ronja frowned, crossing her arms and tapping her feet, feeling her mind overworking on trying to find out what could have possibly happened.

Her attention shifted for a moment to Fiora, finally snapping out of the moment of thinking. "Ronja used to play with slingshots a lot when she was younger! Not very girly, but Ronja loved to craft those and make cool bullets for it." Which most of the time, were marbles.

Ronja then blinked at the mention of a warning, and a stone... what could that be?

"Do you have the rest of the paper? Maybe we can fix it." She asked, not exactly worried.

Every now and then she would allow her attention misdirect from their goal and back to Ronja, just to see how well she could handle herself today. Two days weren't much for a new body like hers. Yet to see her struggle on her own was cute, like she truly wished to be independant rather than play damsel in distress.

"That's more intriguing though." She tapped Ronja on the shoulder and pointed out to the ground, where the upper half of a broken sign aimed North lays on the floor. It wasn't a clean cut by any means, as if something chipped away at the post itself before shattering it. Fiora fell on one knee just to give it a better look, then shared a glance with her partner. "Do you know how to use the Investigation Mode? Give it a shot, see if you find anything."

And indeed, there were things to be found if Ronja did so, like the fact it wasn't an animal what brought down the sign, but blunt weaponry of some sorts, or a great force of impact concentrated. Much like a maul... Or a fist?

"Not very girly?" She exhaled a chuckle. "I used to play soccer with the boys, I still did it even as a teen. Girly ain't bad for me, but not all girls love to play with barbies you know?" She mused, like a vote of confidence to a fellow 'not so girly' girl. "Bet you can make cool bullets in terrasphere, just need to get the parts for it I guess."

The mention of the broken paper made her blink on realization, as she pulled open her UI once again, materializing the missing fragment that got stuck on her inventory and handing it over to Ronja.

possibl- to fi- Stone- -Dwar-

Da-ger

The rest was unfortunately unreadable thanks to how Fiora tore it off. But chances are, it wasn't bueno int he slightest.

"Huh-?" Ronja blinked at Fiora's remark about something else being more intriguing, looking down to see the broken sign that she was presented to.

A frown crossed her face, and she took a step away from it. "Oh, wow... Maybe it is an accident?" Ronja wondered, glancing at Fiora while she looked at the sign with a confused expression. "Investigation Mode? Yeah, Ronja can do that a lot!" In fact, her Investigation Mode has enhanced thanks to her Magitech and Magia nature.

With her eyes clicking for a moment, soon they started glowing with an intense cyan tone as she watched the broken sign, with some particularities and warnings popping up in the edges of her sight. "Hmm, and do you think this mission will give us the materials to get some better bullets? Ronja thinks it may be tough, especially since it doesn't seem like your everyday house."

Then, she turned to try and read the words, holding them softly and having her Investigation Mode working as hard as it could.

"Possible to find stoned adware. Dagger?" Ronja tilted her head with a frown, though soon her Investigation mode updated something.

"Oh no, actually- It is Stone Dwarves? And danger?" She muttered, glancing at Fiora with a concerned expression.

She gave Ronja a shrug, the idea this had been an accident just went out of the window considering what they knew about the events happening around the mine. "Yup, investigation mode. Give it a try, it should probably tell us something." She tried to hold some sense of mystery to it, and a smug smile that knew something would be found out of it... Or just hoped that she was right and wouldn't look like an idiot for doing so.

"I mean, we are going into a mine. It probably has iron? Uhh, maybe steel?" Did steel grow out of mines even? Shooking off her head, Fiora pointed out in the direction the broken post aimed at "Well I suppose we can figure out soon, but I mean if you need ammo I can create it for you. Arcanamancy's pretty handy." She pointed it out, but before they set off Fiora squatted next to Ronja, leaning up close enough to read the broken paper next to her and make use of her own investigation mode while at it.

"Stone dwarves? NICE, I'm tired of fighting wolves and bears, this is up for some nice change." Despite how dangerous this could prove out to be, she couldn't hold back the intensity of some actual new content to play through. Monotony be damned. "Hey, Ronja... Hang on."

Fiora smiled, right before, without a warning, wrapped her hands around the magia's waist and jumped to full height once again, helping her sit on her right shoulder, arms wrapped around her legs. "We runnin'!" She cheerfully declared, before doing just that-

And sprint in direction to the mine!

As Fiora told, the Investigation Mode was fairly useful. There were a few of extras that Ronja didn't know that weren't there as default, thanks to her magitech, so she didn't comment on it just yet.

"Not steel, but it can have iron. You can make steel with iron though, as long as you have the necessary materials and tools for it" Ronja corrected Fiora while raising a finger. Her eyes then clicked, with her beaming in susprise at the reveal.

"Oh! So you have arcanamancy too!" Ronja clasped her hands. "Ronja found out she fan make her own bullets with it, but they spend energy, so it may be useful to have a backup."

She then paused when Fiora told her to hang on, with her eyes clicking and restracting in curiosity while looking at the woman before she was suddenly held.

Ronja's cheeks turne rosy, uncertain of what that was about until she was sent up to Fiora's shoulder.

"H-Hey! Isn't that bad for your back?" Ronja scolded with a giggle, adjusting herself while Fiora darted off toward the mines.

"Y-yeah, you know I'm not a smith or anything so I have no idea. Skipped a few classes at school, probably the ones that mentioned steel." Uncertain as she tip-toed through a lie, or rather, a case of goldfish memory. It became specially embarassing with how Ronja wiggled a finger around like a high-school teacher nagging at her student.

When Ronja mentioned arcanamancy and how they both shared the same mastery, Fiora blinked and beamed up, surprised once the magia and her clearly shared one same thought, all in all. "Hmmm, I mean, we are two arcanamancers, so we can totally just rotate between who makes the ammo for you. I do use arcanamancy a lot so... Well, we will see, you can always just pick up peebles and infuse them with magic I think." She scratched her chin.

"Probably!" She panted lightly, words coming out on a hurry as she huffed and puffed air. "I'm glad you are this small though!" She remarked with a little smile. The most indirect way she had to make mention of how heavy she is without actually making mention of it.

Because damn, Magias were heavy apparently, or just her own arms lacked muscle, something she thought unconceivable.

As they zoomed through the old road, they could get to notice how... Abandoned it looked. Vines had begun to grow through the entrance of the old mine, a cart stationary on the outside, but nothing out of the regular going on. The silence, however, felt eerie, another omen to what awaited for them to make an entrance, with a lot of dust and sand covering the entrace on piles- Odd.

"Let's try and play sneaky." She whispered, eyes up to her partner just as she helped her down on the ground once again, far more gentle than earlier for sure.

The long road begun to lose any trace of sunlight the deeper they went, and finally noise begun to echo from these caverns. Stone, picks and the constant clang of thick iron piercing the precious materials. Vision came back once oil lamps and torches illuminated most of what lies ahead, a singular path that went down like a slope, with one entrance frame wide enough for carts to be pushed up and down, and past that? The wide, circular first layer of the mines. A bright hue came down a separate tunnel where the rails continued, and across this first 'room' there they were.

The stone dwarves. Stoic golems that did nothing but follow orders: their own. Yet the level of organization here seemed dubious at best, and the possibility quite plausible, considering they do what dwarves do: mine and recollect.

There were many other carts de-serviced and used to keep the coal and iron, boxes with supplies that went long unused, and not a single trace of a human. If there was signs of blood, it was hard to tell, and the many stains could either relate to the scarlet liquid itself, oil stains, or the wax from a candle. Yet there seemed to be enough spots for them to hide and pass by unnoticed.

Or... They could simply fight them all head on.

Sneak?

Make a Mastery or Expertise roll with a DC 60 to sneak past the stone dwarves... Or don't and just attack.

"Ronja knew it was a good idea to make herself small." She clenched her fists in a victory pose as she was quickly placed back to her feet, blissfully unaware of the implication of Fiora's words since she wasn't really paying attention to it.

She peeked at the mines, with her eyes clicking and flickering like a camera lens, glowing slightly with the investigation mode.

"There are more than one of these things around here-" Ronja said, wrapping her arm around Fiora's for a moment, noticing the floor was somewhat irregular at the place, something that would make walking a chore.

Diving deeper into the mines next to Fiora, she remained mostly quiet until the signs of the first dwarves appeared.

"Ronja got this." She nodded looking at Fiora, with arcane hexagons starting to grow around her body, flickering before her shape started to become transparent as if she was some sort of high-tech chameleon. The outline was still somewhat visible if Fiora paid careful attention, but it was more than enough to keep Ronja hidden.

She took off her metal shoes, hiding them deep into her inventory before turning to Fiora.

"Now Ronja will be quiet like a cat. Meow, that's it." She whispered, soon trying to sneak her way past-

And honestly, everything was going fine, if it wasn't for the fact soon her clumsy walking got her falling facefirst to the ground, with loud echoing noises from her metallic gloves and her items scattering everywhere as her invisibility faded away.

"G-Guhh-"

STOMP-

"Eek-?!" Ronja jerked back, nearly having her head stomped by the stone dwarf that looked down at her with glowing eyes that brimmed like a scorching forge, holding a giant war hammer with it.
