"Mhmm... Mhmm..." Ronja's eyes clicked at every piece of information and stimuli received from the Aidlings. "This is... Wh-Woah-!" She jumped quickly when a voice suddenly spoke, making her look around startled.

"That was scary... Ugh-" She frowned, casting a glance at @Valmont and @Fiora Di Angelo. "The Water Way feels like to be the dangerous path... The smell of flowers there could indicate an exit, but... With the voice's words, we can't be so sure, can we?" She sighed, looking at the rest of the group.

Fiora fell quiet as soon as the voice came through. Distant, if not a bit too sinister and convenient of all things. Her right hand fell over the hilt of her blade, uncertainty kept her at edge.

"It sure was." She replied to @Ronja Bubblyfoot, a sigh breaking through her lips. "Well, if we really have to take what it said in consideration, it simply said we should take the water way and steer away from the breeze. So that just leaves the lily's in the middle of all this." Her gaze turned to @Aalam Abungu, who just confirmed not only he hasn't mapped this complex, but that groups came before they did.

"Good idea, let's leave marks across the tunnel walls. We don't want to end up running in circles." Fiora nodded.

And just then her gaze finally falling on the duo she has failed to acknowledge earlier, a pink flower (@Rael) and it's fiery companion, @Zelrius , the one of the two she could actually recognize by face, with the former being strangely similar in how she communicates to a certain paper person from camp Hope...

"Zel, you and your partner got anything? Feel like going for a water trip, get some fresh air or some romantic flower fields?" She smirked.

As the smell of lilac wafts from the tunnel Valmont would freeze in place. His eyes glued to the maw, and face displaying fractured deep emotions of Hope and Horror. His breath quickened, and pulse raced. With great effort he pulled his gaze away, looking back to his companions.

”Most of you are more experienced than I. How often does it come up that the world plays us against ourselves? Lures us in with our desires?”

"Hmm?" Came the storyteller's faintest hum at @Fiora Di Angelo's words, gone mostly unheard, though Rael was certain she had been talked to. She thought the woman had prompted her to share her thoughts, and so, she pulled her UI.

Quite often, dare I say.

I would be more inclined to follow neither of the paths mentioned by the voice. The one with the trickling water, because of obvious complications that could arise... The path of lilacs, while pleasant, could be ridden with other disguised plants that could release their toxic spores upon contact.

Oh, but when it so kindly offered us a clue, I do wonder what it wishes for us to see...

"More common than I'd like."

A simple answer to @Valmont 's question.

"Partner?"

A blink, his blue eyes looking around between the other faces in the room. He didn't recognize anyone here other than Fiora. That was hardly the issue at hand, though. Maybe she was just messing with him.

"I agree with the Elf here. I am mostly fire, and would prefer not to be wet for most of this journey. Even less so if the water level were to rise deeper in. Afterall, for it to be a consistent stream, there'd have to be a larger source.

The flowers. Don't frogs usually use bright colors to warn of their poisonous nature? Maybe this is a similar situation. So fresh air, as Fiora put it. That's where I'd like to go, personally."

Well, that's... Interesting.

This path goes further with a bit of an incline that seems to go downwards, leading towards the water. We will get ourselves wet, and possibly have to swim should we follow it but I couldn't quite see the depth of the water. Oh, and something was causing ripples on the surface.

That's not all, though. I saw some light filtering in, but I couldn't pinpoint the source before the vision was cut off.

I think it'd be interesting!

”In that case, I wouldn't worry too much about the water. I believe I could make us a boat if it gets too deep.” He looks back up the climbing tunnel. ”Still better than trying to fight on the side of a cliff.”

"I feel like that's pretty sound reasoning. I have blades, you do, I say we just cut through, and if anything tries to stop us, we cut them too. Not a bad plan, right @Aalam Abungu?"
