Trumpets blare as confetti fell from the top of the Colosseum. A recent addition to the city, it's opening also marked the chance for the Starcalled to impress the masses with their abilities. While it was primarily made to serve as a sports hub for the active, it also features a large battle arena for players to sign up and battle in non-lethal combat in these ivory walls.

Crowds of people gathered to watch what was the last day of the competition's opening. With only two teams left and both having fans, the tension and energy of the spectators was through the roof for the event. The prize was a lot of gold for them to spend as well a large fancy trophy that would have their names engraved onto it, as well as three smaller trophies to take home and showcase.

An announcer, dressed eloquently, prepares his throat and strikes out with a red flag.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! Thank you for patronage in watching the final day of the opening competition! Our brilliant Starcalled have proven themselves to be mighty warriors, but there are those who are mightier! With two teams left, the winner of this bout will walk away with a brilliant prize and their names immortalised in that giant trophy!" The announcer then points his flag towards a gate painted red and the audience goes silent. As the gate opens, three figures step out and the fans cheer.

"From the Red Team! We have three powerhouses who have displayed their ability to battle! Never have I seen prowess!"

Flanking left to the middle, was a short elven woman, with wield a sword and shield. Her dark green hair, like the evergreen confiers, constrated the intimidating black and red of her heavy looking armor. "Red Team's Elf Warrior Midna Lovox is looking as scary as ever. Her abilities with Nature and Dark Magic have made her an unorthodox foe for many of the teams today!"

Flanking right to the middle, was a large bulky man, with a massive bow slung over his torso. Aside from his bodybuilder body, two large horns decorated in red rope clinked with the bells attached to it. The arrows in his quiver were about as big as swords. "Then we have the Beastkin Loraz Tauhunt! Look at that bow! His workout routine is probably as intense as it is huge! You all have seen how well it fires and pierces armor like paper! Truly someone versed in Ranged Weaponry!"

Finally, in the middle of both of them, was a individual dressed in robes. White like saints and bathed in a soft glow, the human between these two was distinguishable by his near stereotype cleric outfit and that evening star he uses as a staff. "Red Team's Leader can't be forgotten however! Maroc Pollio puts healers to shame with that get up. Watch out for when he swings that mace or divine light!"

The announcer wipes his brow before the flag in his hand turns yellow and he points it towards the yellow gate. Like with the red, the gates swing upon, signalling for the three waiting behind it to walk out.

First was Flowing, striding out into the light as the announcer used his oratory abilities to give her a snazzy introduction.

"You can call the Yellow Team perfect for their name. Look at the golden locks on the three of them! It's almost like a miniature Blonde Fest that they held in Stokbon! These golden girls don't mess around having plowed through their brackets like streaks of golden comets!"

Flowing wondered what he was talking about.

"Accompanying @Fiora Di Angelo and @Ginevra Delaney is the faerin Flowing Willowwhistle! She has proven to be quite tricky one, dodging attacks and exhausting her foes with that footwork. Like she's always two steps ahead of her foe!"

"Are you listenin' to this guy? He's giving away everyone's masteries from the get go." She tried to muffle a chuckle, eyes set on Ginevra once Flowing made her not so fantastic stride outside into the light, like any normal person would. With one final clap on the edgy blonde's back, angry blonde made her way outside, and as soon as the sunlight bathed her like it just did to their little team's leader, Fiora rised her arms up to bolster the crowds in a much more gladiatorial fashion, and their reaction just inspired her to let out a pearly smile. All these cliche movies paid off!

"Standing to the left is blonde team's blonde bruiser herself, Fiora D'Angelo! Sharp looks, sharp tongue and sharp blade, watch out ranged combatants, this knight hits from every angle and distance possible!"

Her right hand pointed out around the crowd, only to end on Maroc Polio, with a mischievous grin as she gestured for him to come closer, yet intentions were clear for their announcer who called out with a roar.

"OHO- In one bold move, Fiora declared who her target's gonna be! But can she slip past the mighty shield of Lovox herself? Or perhaps Loraz's arrows will put an end to so much confidence? But not for anything are they a team, ladies and gentlemen!"

Her eyes shifted back to Flowing, waiting for Ginevra to finally show up. Hopefully they would catch up between their announcer's loud mouth and her own actions what her intentions were- Get rid of their healer first, the real threat to them as it is.

"Alright ladies, time to earn your pay!" She shouted with increasing vigor.

It really was quite the odd situation she found herself in and, to be perfectly honest, Ginevra wasn't entirely sure how she'd found her way into a tournament alongside two fellow blondes, though their hair was much more golden than her own platinum locks. A clap against her back was the only warning she received before both of her teammates were already walking out of the entrance, getting their own flashy and flattering commentary.

Oooh! She had to make a cool entrance, didn't she? She just couldn't simply walk out and do absolutely nothing!

And then, hearing Fiora's impassioned yell, it was time for Ginevra to step out and into the light. Her greatsword held in one hand, the tip just barely scraping against the ground with each step she took, even though Ginevra stepped out under the sun, not a spot of light touched her skin, as a shroud of darkness pulsed with each steps, her blade leaving black sparks as it was dragged across the ground.

"And of course, ladies and gentlemen, the team would not be complete without their third member! It looks like the shade is creeping out into the sunlight, for a change of pace! Just look at her, folks!"

Ginevra's eyes flashed black as she shone a sunny smile towards their opponents. And yet somehow, despite the warm smile, shadows crept from the gaps between her teeth and bled into her face, a black smoke escaping with each breath.

"Ginevra is here to hit you and hit you hard! Say goodbye to defense, as Yellow Team's White Shadow has made it her personal mission to crack your shields and bust your bunker! If you try escaping the suns that are her partners, beware, because the most brilliant lights create a deep, dark shadow!"

She raised her greatsword finally, hefting it onto her shoulder, eyes picking over their foes, before her grin widened ferally.

I'm going to break every single one of you!

Flowing glanced towards her teammates. Compared to them, she did not exactly do much for an entrance. All she did was walk in after all. Regardless, the crowd was going wild around them and the announcer was very good at controlling such a wild audience. The loud sounds was hurting her ears however, but not from the cheers of the zealous crowd.

Rather, Ginevra's use of magic created a loud and distracting white noise, like if tinnitus was the sound of a TV not broadcasting any shows. She did not have the heart to tell her teammate that however, anything to disturb the unity between them now would be their downfall. They were strangers to each other, but the opposing them was basically family.

"Earn our pay? We basically deserve it," Flowing laughed arrogantly as the horn sounded for their fight to begin. In a flash, Flowing blocks an arrow with her sword staff but it knocked her back a bit. The near polearm length arrow dropped to the ground like a stone as she watches the opposing team's bowman knock another arrow into his giant bow.

Lovox had almost made her move forward, as shadowy energy begun to emit from her armor like smoke. Flowing could hear the creepy howling abyss as the elf shrouds herself in an intimidating blanket of black smoke. Said black smoke formed a veil around the enemy team, hiding their presence and soon the entire arena area was a thick black smog.

"Utterly amazing! We've seen this before! The black shroud of Lovox! That's why they call her the Black Mirror! And-" Another arrow shot and blocked by Flowing, this time sending it up and through the smoke interrupted the announcer. "It doesn't seem to impede the amazing perception of the golden girl's eyes Flowing!"

"Fiora! Use your Aeromancy to create an opening for Ginerva! Aim... About 1 o'clock from where you are standing! Ginevra, the shroud would break for a moment," Flowing barked as she used Nature Magic on the ground. Large roots would sprout out and form a protection barrier for herself and her teammates. Another arrow lodges itself into her root barrier just in time. "And of course, break them!"

"I ain't paying you shit though!" She playfully replied, right as the enemy team decided to stop their little fun when an arrow almost hit Flowing- Almost. And that smile on her lips wiped clean, specially once she took a moment to analyze the battle they got infront of them and her fellow blondette begun to shout orders. "HEY, who said you could be the leader?!" She protested.

Quickly enough Fiora set herself to work as a gust of wind begun to form like a cylinder infront of her, all on it's path soared and set aside as it begun to disperse the darkness brought by Lovox, and she finally set herself into a sprint, her left hand sending forth a runic blessing, the very symbol appeared brightly so infront of Ginevra, and in her status bar she could find one little big buff: Haste

"Break that bitch Gine, I'm going after healer boy. Flowy let's go!"
She declared with ferocity roaring through her voice as she carved the ground with the tip of her arcane-infused blade, unleashing edged, blue breeze like a slash across the battlegrounds, aimed right towards Maroc, who quickly got his feet to work and dodge the blast. Arcane blades summoned themselves to surround both Flowing and Fiora alike, aimed outwards as they begun to spin at great velocities, a phalanx of creation that would protect them by shooting themselves to misdirect projectiles, or slice through in melee-range.

Their archer, however, set their sights on Fiora this time, giving an opening for Flowing as she worked as the dummy, considering the speed her fellow blonde could pick up in comparison. She held fate on Ginevra's blade to deal, or at least keep Lovox from assisting the rest of their team.

A black shroud began to spread from Lovox, which was apparently supposed to hurt them or hinder their approach or something? Ginevra stared at it, grinning. More darkness was ALWAYS cool in her books. It was honestly a shame that this person was going to be her enemy, since she quite enjoyed finding fellow darkness enjoyers. Still, there was little she could do about it. She had no intentions of not winning this thing, after all. And she HAD just declared that she was going to break their enemies.

That said, it was a pleasant surprise to find a gust of wind that parted the dark fog, whilst a symbol appeared in front of her. And then she noticed it, the Haste buff that had been applied to her, and eyes that were swallowed by shadows lit up, her mouth stretching into a toothy grin that allowed the darkness to shine through the gaps between her teeth.

Haha! Try not to die, Lovox!

And the small gap in the fog was the only moment she needed, shunting herself forwards as Dark Magic and Corruption seeped into her muscles, bolstering them alongside the Haste, enough for her to disappear and reappear next to Lovox, swinging her greatsword up. It slammed into armor, picking Lovox off of the ground and launching her into the air.

But Ginevra wasn't prepared to allow her to escape by being hit. Dark portals began to open all around Lovox mid-air, chains of Dark Magic striking outwards like cobras to bind her opponent by the arms and legs.

I hope I get lots of candy when you pop!

With Lovox strung up like a pinata, Ginevra hefted her greatsword, swinging again and again wildly, carving into armor. A manic, almost insane grin spread across her face as she continued to slash and slash! She turned to look at Lovox's teammates whilst they were fighting her own teammates.

How does it feel? Your friends are too busy to save you!
