It had been a long time coming for Lucia, a bitter smile upon her face as she'd try to greet people to the best of her abilities and exchange pleasantries. Any who knew her would know that while she might be charming, she lacked a lot of social grace which was why she found herself giving a speech with a bitter smile. "I've gathered you all here, as friends, family, or hires to accomplish a job. I understand that perhaps I'm asking too much, this is a personal vendetta of mine. I understand a lot of you have no real reason to participate in this and yet here you stand, ready and waiting. I'm afraid this is a foe I cannot allow to grow any longer though, what is a threat to me, might one day become a threat to you all, so I hope we can quench this flame before it becomes a forest fire." She offered, for a moment, trying to gauge the crowd to see how well she was doing. Good or bad though, she had to go on, turning her attention to one side.
Mortimer, her Wraith steward took over, in his gentleman's coat, his porcelain mask face and specter like figure that lacked legs gestured towards the wall behind the small improvised stage. "Ladies and gentlemen, our foe is the Archlich known as 'The Tomb King'. Not only is he a powerful mage, he is a demented inventor and schemer. I will not mince words, this may be a difficult battle but you will not be fighting alone. You know your own skills better then we do, I advise you to maintain small squads and spread out to sew chaos within the enemy base, that would be the pyramid." The Wraith King gestured to the drawn rendition of the black jeweled structure. "Once we have properly carved away his protections, we will all charge him together as one in hopes of ending this conflict once and for all." Mortimer concluded with a firm nod. Once more the attention shifted though, Mortimer stepping back, making way for the next speaker.
Sylvanas, the disciplined commander of her paladins was the last speaker. Crimson red eyes scanning the crowd from within heavy armor. "It will be our role to distract the bulk of the arch Lich's forces. We will engage them in battle on the surface in a separate location here. You will all make your entrance on this side of the Pyramid, once all of his forces have left to engage us. We will keep his main force occupied, leaving behind only his elite royal guards and some left over constructs within. Beware of traps and do not be consumed by your greed-- there will be time for looting when he is dead." Sylvanas lectured firmly, as if suspicious of the crowd's desires for gold and gems. Eventually the Wight Queen relented though and continued, gesturing to a member off stage, a gilded pirate undead smoking with madness in her eyes carved from gemstone. "Morgana will be dropping your teams off around the back of the pyramid before coming back to engage his forces with us. You will leap off the ship team by team to begin your work. You have your assignments, you are free to switch teams and arrange manpower as you please... Just, please work hard." Sylvanas added at the end, knowing that while the players would be fighting and looting in the pyramid, Lucia and the undead would be waging war on the surface. The sooner the pyramid's interior was ruined, the sooner they could combine their forces for a final assault. "Are we ready?" The knight would ask, scanning the crowd once more to gauge the volunteers and their willingness to participate.
