Kaede knew where Totetsu was, but she always wanted to take some time to calm down so simply 'acted' like she had no idea staying close enough to keep the hound on edge that she would be found and be punished for what she had done. Kaede understood the reason, but she was on her way to take the hound out only for, well ye as she opened the door to the hound's room leading to a very angry elf to shade the hound out to clean up the mess made and now she needed to do the motherly lecture for not being able to hold it until she was outside. Sometimes having a dog was annoying.

"TOTETSU!!!!"

Kaede once again shouted with some anger in her voice to keep the hound moving and not acting like it was in the right to go where it had because Kaede woke an hour late because she overworked last night on ANOTHER collar for the hound. That said though as Kaede moved to keep her respectful distance downwind to avoid the hound knowing exactly where she was outside the shouting the two played thier usual morning games with a different mood in the air. Normally they played tag or hide and seek under better terms, but this time was more hunter and prey style as the sun rose for the morning of another day.

Totetsu's area

The forest was on edge, between the shouting elf and the fleeing bear sized hound who knew a lecture was coming if they allowed themselves to be caught up to. That said the lunatic hound had the attention span of a puppy and would forget the looming threat every so often and start to play around hopping in and out of bushes or chasing smaller creatures. While it looked like it could give someone a hard fight it had a playfully stuck out tongue, and well groomed fur hinting it was a domestic animal even with razor teeth and sharp claws. Then again in a fantasy world it made perfect sense this was someone's pet.

All said and done though the large hound would tackle a falling leaf before bolting her head up and turning on a swivel. Another shout reminding her to run again and so she would, right up until she came across something that broke her focus again. Was it another animal, a small creature, a mix of the two, a person who knew. A happy bark though as the large hound lowered as if it wanted to play a game with the other entity having forgot once more of the angry owner hot on her tail.

OOC: feel free to be the thing that Totetsu stopped to bark at, or see it happen and decide what she will be playing with, or just be on approach and I can think of what would lead the two together.~

“Hm… The sensation intensity adjustments are oddly very customizable.”

A girl of faded blue hair, Lynx ears upon her head, sat next to the lake just through the tree line, with multiple windows of her UI open at once, rapidly tapping away on the screens without paying too much of a glance at any. To anyone else, she might appear as simply poking at points in the air, but in reality she was fine tuning the realism settings to her most optimal preference, settings shortcuts and calibrating movement reactions to precise nanosecond pings.

Meanwhile, all around her were various animals, all seemingly calm with her presence, perhaps even drawn to her. Ravens filled the trees above her head, badgers rested near her feet, foxes curled beside her, and even various snakes coiled about the branches with the ravens, none of them paying each other any kind as they all seemed focused on her. Over the past few days of being in the world of TS, this girl had made it her mission to befriend any wildlife that she could, feeding them as she could, interacting with them in between her bursts of technological tinkering with the settings.

Then within moments, her thoughts were interrupted, as she noticed the fox to her left look toward the forest. The subtle sound of yelling, the rustling of grass and brush; it seemed to be traveling toward their location. From the badgers’ reactions, the neko assumed it was either canine or something similar. Raising a hand, the animals scattered back into the forest, and she closed her UI, standing up and waiting for an interaction, whether it be good or bad.

At that moment, a black dog with blue underfurs, and the size that would put a great Bernard to shame, sprung from the foliage beside her. Noticing that the dog had had a collar immediately, the girl’s ears twitch, and she calms herself before holding a hand out for the dog to sniff.
“Hello,” she greeted the giant canine, keeping her eyes out for the owner. “My name is Seris. What is yours?”

Kaede was still a bit away when she heard the bark, it seemed something or someone with a heartbeat had caught Totetsu's attention and led the elf to pick up pace just incase the hound was going to get over friendly or something to that nature. Reaching the area just as Totetsu ignores the gesture and moves her head under the hand shaking it to give herself a fre petting before barking again and getting ready to lick the lynx girl only to stop as Kaede coughed to get the hounds attention.

"Her name is Totetsu, and unless you like smelling of slobber and raw beef I don't advise letting her lick you when she is so large..."

Kaede would whistle to get the hounds full focus, right index running along the top of her left ear as the hound would bark and shrink down to puppy size, the collar taking time to shrink after the change only to be left behind as the small puppy ran to try and tackle the lynx. While she was smaller it did not change the weight behind the frame so the force of a bear tackle would effectively be going towards the lynx if she did not evade the playful movement of the puppy.

Kaede was simply thankfully the hound had learned not to lay on people after crushing a goblin's ribcage once. The elf moving to offer the Lynx girl a hand if she needed it, though in classic Kaede fashion if the offer was taken she would pull the girl right into a hug. The height difference atop Kaede's habit to wear kick up boots would make the Lynx's face slam right into Kaede's breast less she tried to stop the tight hug. A happy hum for a few seconds before Kaede would let the girl go or give her the choice to move back if she wanted it while speaking.

"Name Is Kaede, Kaede Hoshi, judging by your gear, your reaction to Totetsu, and the fact Lynx don't normally live around these parts I'm going to assume your a player of the next generation... Still gonna keep calling you all the new kids... Been running into a lot of new faces and so few of the old guard... but knowing what we knew before the game went down for them... can't blame them."
