As their caravan moved along the strange and unfamiliar place, Kamala distracted herself by playing with her Sprouts, the sapling sprites that granted her their power, oblivious to how she may be annoying everyone else, including @Ayna Nietzsche and @Pete Simpson. She was well aware of how hard the Explorers League were working, keeping them all on the right path, and was very much amazed at their process. But they were out there, and she was in here, and Kamala had to do what she could to contribute. Maybe she'll work with them soon enough. If she did her best here, that is.

Despite all that, however, she could tell early on that something was definitely not right. Is that... What is that weird thing in the air? As if on cue, her Sprouts muttered in her ear that it was some sort of spore, specifically a veil of spore, and the Myconids in the area were about to take them out. And not for some free dinner with an expensive bottle of wine on the side. Mushrooms don't have that much money. "Everyone! Watch out!"

Kamala winced as she heard the thunderous boom behind them but still managed to scramble to her feet. Was that an explosion?! She could feel her throat tighten in fear and panic, but she knew she didn't have time for any of that. People needed help. Kamala was able to help. It was a no-brainer. The others can handle the mushroom people. She'll play support and keep the rest of them safe and sound.

Calling on the Sprouts for help, Kamala used her Nature Magic to heal those she could. The sapless sprites, invisible to those without Spirit Magic, were quick to float around and dust most of them with nature's magical energy. There would a brief feeling of lightness to those affected, as if they had just finished watching a feel-good movie or eaten something that would never fail to make them feel better after a long hard week. "It's going to be all right, everyone! We're going to be just fine!" I hope.

Kyoko had been pretty quiet up to this moment in time, with everyone doing preparations she had silently followed along. Doing whatever small tasks she could do to keep everything sailing smoothly. The group that Kyoko decided to tag along with seemed competent enough and Zelrius had invited him to join her in the wagon, and with her previous experience with Zelrius he seemed to be the only one around that she could bother to be around. Zelrius had managed to break the ice and caused everyone to share in jokes and tall tales which lead Kyoko to be more willing to tag along with the lot.

It didn't take long before things continued to move along, Kyoko sitting at the back keeping away from the combat. Kyoko did what she did best and that was mindlessly twiddle her fingers. That was until everything began to happen, Kyoko had leapt into action doing what she did best. That was until Zelrius launched into action. Kyoko would quickly move to hang half out the wagon. (@Zelrius) "Zelly! You got this! Good luck!" She nodded her head at Sol, (@Sol) "You as well Sol, go get them" She then would nudge her way back to the front of the cabin where she was now crouched besides @Harlow and @Avery Aphelion. "Don't die on me you guys." Kyoko shot a sharp glance in the duo's direction. "Stay safe out there fighting Harlow, and Avery. Let's get this show on the road."

Kyoko then began to channel her magic, no matter what anyone did Kyoko knew what job she would take on. Kyoko focused her magic, spirits began to float around her waiting for her commands. Kyoko moved closer towards the horses that were pulling their wagon. "Calm their spirits my little ones-" Kyoko tapped each little spirit with her fingers before she sent them towards the horses to help aid them in calming down and pursuing onwards.

Civilization was well behind them by the time he stirred. He remained unaware of the danger at first, but the fear that crept like a murderer in the night through the myriad Players and the representatives of the guild roused his interests such that his eyes snapped open. ...we're being pursued! came the sharp report of an unknown, starkly masculine voice.

Jin was on his feet just as another piped up. Time for some action. "I couldn't agree more," he agreed beneath his breath as he checked his katana and pulled back the canvas that separated those inside the wagon from outside. To his surprise, the dangers ahead took command of his interests and brought a smirk to his face.

"Finally."

Scores of pestilent fungal beasts swarmed them on all sides, which presented a clear obstacle to their continued forward movement. Perhaps more important than that, they were ravenous. Others with training and experience hurried forward to take charge, barking orders and assuring that no one fell victim to the chaos and lacked for direction- but for Jin, such trivialities served only to muddle the experience.

He licked his lips as he spilled over the side of the wagon like a black liquid as an explosion rocked the transport and crippled its ability to move. They would need time to repair and fall back, to protect those who were less prepared to take the danger head on.

Jin was more than ready.

The stifling humidity tore at his throat, or perhaps it was something else. He could taste the trace amounts of blood that hazed in his mouth with every breath, leaking out of him and into the air. The creatures were- somehow- leeching the life-giving warmth out of them without ever touching them. The Bloodsworn's smirk twisted into a sadistic smile.

"Oh you want my blood?" he asked sardonically. "Take as much as you like; but be wary, the greatest delights in life always come at a price."

As readily as he exhaled the trace amounts of blood, the Myconids greedily lapped them up, no different from how a tree bathed in sunlight or drew in carbon dioxide.

And with his blood, they also drank deep of his curse.

Jin drew his weapon, ready to hold the line and give no ground. Little did anyone realize, many of the creatures had already fallen victim to his magic.

Explorer's League Member - Orange Whistle

As the commotion near the split table grew louder, Sol moved away from the noise, packing some of the finished supplies onto the wagons as she goes. It then that @Fiora Di Angelo calls out to her, and she stifles a small snicker while turning her gaze away, saying nothing to the woman in return. It's then that she spots @Frey Elzeiros up ahead, clapping to a player making music. Her eyes widen slightly as she spots him, dodging behind a wagon for a moment as she turns and peers out at him. Wait... Why am I hiding?

It's at that moment the announcements for the wagons leaving sounds out, and Sol was quickly invited in one with a swift apology from a blonde haired @Zelrius from earlier. With not a glance behind and hop into the cart, the Orange Whistle member took up the front of the vehicle, ready to lead the way.

She hadn't really seen them coming, but when they came, she definitely felt them. The cart she had been on was quickly thrown out of sequence for the rest, causing her stand up on the back and clutch onto the side, watching with gritted teeth as the other riders with her struggled. Her heart beating in her ears, she wondered what she could do in this situation-

Oh yah, this is a video game.

Reaching to her arm, she dug her finger nails into her wrist, drawing them back to her upper body as she drew long, bleeding wounds into her arm. Gasping out in pain, she only took a second to recover as the blood that dripped down quickly began to form into something else. Soon enough, in her hands was a large blood scythe, one that she gripped strongly as she stood on the edge of her wagon, watching the one next to her carefully as she planned her movement.

Launching herself off the side, she landed onto the neck wagon with a thud, raising from the ground and to her feet. Turning and looking around the cart, her eyes settled on a familiar blue figure that she had tried to avoid only earlier, adrenaline pumping through her veins and blood still dripping from her arm. Her gaze was piercing as she looked at him, one word running through her head, Fuck. "Hi."

Turning towards the Myconid swarm approaching, Sol flipped her scythe in her hand before directing the gathered force towards the once nearest to her, slicing it's head directly off of it's body.

Over the past few days, she'd been using the little scraps of wood in the wake of The Kitchen Incident to make charms. It kept her busy and made sure she wasn't slacking on her calligraphy. She wasn't sure she was getting any better at it, but she wasn't getting worse. It wasn't the greatest of environments to be practicing such a delicate art, but she could deal with it.

When Sumire heard the explosion, she knew it was time for action. Luckily, it didn't seem like anyone was hurt too bad yet, so Sumire could focus on getting things in order. A bunch of the newer adventurers didn't really know what they were getting into and were looking particularly jumpy and panicky. Standing up, she started to hand out charms. She made sure to infuse some spiritual energy into the charms, to make them warm to the touch. True blessings would require too much time at the scale she had to work with. She walked to an annoyingly tall, white haired elf (@Essence) and handed her a charm. It wasn't her best work, but it compact enough to not get in the way.

"This charm is for good fortune, stay safe. If you get hurt, I can heal you. Good luck out there."

The next person on her agenda was man who just irradiated smugness (@Hayate). He was also annoyingly tall. She felt like she was the literal short end of the stick when it came to the wagon. Nonetheless, she would do what she could to make sure everyone got out alive.

"Take this, protects against evil spirits. If you get hurt, stay low and try and find me or another healer. Stay safe, and good luck out there."

With that done, she turned her attention to the others in the wagon who hadn't started to head out and fight. She made sure to keep an eye out for anyone who was looking too hurt and hoped that this wouldn't set the tone for the rest of the expedition.

Kaede did not plan to come along, but it was more she had a bad feeling about what they would be getting into and felt there was still to few healers. So with a annoyed sigh she pulled out her whistle and called Totetsu out from the woods. The massive hound bounding over people to reach her master and laying down so she could climb on and follow the group's middle point. This way she could reach anyone roughly in the same amount of time until she moved otherwise.

"Don't get used to exploring again Totetsu, I don't need another three month chasing you around. We are going to help, then go back home, no detours you got it little miss!?!"

With a loud bark Kaede could only assume was a yes she went onward. fast-forwarding to the mess at hand Kaede could only sigh, before adjusting her seat on the large hound and moving to her medical supplies she placed in the nearby cart and getting out a few syringes. Sure she knew giving a horse a shot of adrenaline now would help, but would take a little of the strain from them also at the cost of them being annoyed later and hopefully they could get a pitstop to deal with it.

On the plus side she had adjusted the amount for a human so it would only be at most a mild kick to the horses and if they would be lucky enough not cause issues later like she was fearing. That said she would move to hint for Totetsu to run alongside some of the horses so Kaede could administrate the medicine. Worst case she would chronomancy when things calmed down to fix the damage she caused. When she heard the cannon though she could only sigh, seemed the brute was here. Focus moving to where she could see the cannon's smoke and assumed it to be @Brutus Dahlgren as she shouted over the madness.

"I see you are as loud as ever, least these things attacked first I suppose."

As Tetsunosuke was tending to his shop, he saw a middle-aged man (@Alastair Brass) moving to him and inquiring about if his magitech tools would be of use to the magus. Tetsunosuke then enthusiastically replied, "But of course. While all of magitech is useful for those who are not magically attuned, they are especially potent for those who do. They can also bring forth miracles if they are used correctly." But then the roll call was sounded, and so Tetsunosuke had to attend, then pack up and leave to their destination.

Unfortunately, by the time he had finished packing up, all the wagons had departed, and he, as well as some more people who were late to the scene, were the only people left. And so, he then took it to himself to ferry all of those people together with him. He then rode on his mech, then it transformed into a truck, and then, having the late people ride in, he then set off to the direction of the caravan.

Not long after, he then saw the tail end of the caravan, and then started to slow down to match its pace. But then, a swarm of mushroom-like creatures started to swarm on them. As the people who he had ferried to this place then scampered to all directions trying to either attack the monsters or tend to the caravan, Tetsunosuke, making sure that nothing was too near his vehicle or on it, then pushed a button, and then massive blades then protruded on the front of the vehicle. And then, seeing a spot where his vehicle could pass through without hurting any allied people in his wake, he then stepped on the accelerator. Hard.

The truck then had its magical engines roar, and then it hurtled towards the swarm of myconids, slashing everything which dared faced it. Tetsunosuke felt some feedback on his shoulders and hips while doing it, but this was worth the pain.

Startled into wakefulness by the clangs and bangs around him. He quickly checked his things from cover, eyes widening he stared surprised at the sight of the mushroom....people? That was new. He could only hope they didn't pop like a pinata upon death and lace the air with some hallucinogenic pollen. He stood around unsure how to respond.

What was there for someone like him to do? He wasn't the most adept at combat just quite yet, no he was here more to watch and learn. Gain some experience while the real players did the fighting. With all the veterans charging out, the recoil to the wagons would be evident, not to mention the damage from the stray attacks by the oncoming foes or redirected attacks from the other players. In all honesty it was quite overwhelming. Especially when combined with the daunting pressure from the foreignness of the Myconid forest kingdom. It was a bit much for him to appreciate even as much as he loved new environments.

Broken from his stupor by the offer of a charm he smiled and slapped it to his chest letting its soothing warmth clear his mind, letting him focus on the task at hand. "Thanks." he called over to @Sumire making note of their class.

Leaping up atop of the wagon he had exited he ran through the options he had at hand looking for a problem to fix. They had to keep on the move, but what could he do? Grinning a bit, he got a spark of inspiration watching @Zelrius using the wagons as springboards to attack the fungi..fungus? funginoid? Whatever they were to be called. The recoil from the impacts rocked the wagons, causing them to crack under the pressure from him and the other vanguards.

Flipping the hourglass at his belt, small grains of sand would start to flow down as he nocked an arrow to his bow. Taking aim he let loose as he exhaled, the arrow striking with a thunk into a broken wheel. With a crack the fragile arrowhead shattered as Chronomancy took over. The grains of sand flowing in reverse back up to the top of the hourglass as wheel was restored to peak condition.

Hearing the familiar voice of @Kyoko over the din, he'd slide down towards her. She was more of a support if he remembered correctly. "You ok?" he asked as he shot at the side panel of another wagon that had collapsed.

Having already been accustomed to ambushes in the real world and this one, he had already sensed something was wrong before the ambush even began, thus as the attack went underway and countless mushroom like monsters began to appear in droves to assault the caravan, he found himself at the edge of the wagon. Joining his right hand's index and middle fingers together below his thumb, he peeked outside the safety of the wagon, took aim and fired a bolt of lightning from the tip of his fingers, triggering a deafening like sound similar to a revolver being fired. After he took his fist shot, he quickly ducked back in the wagon and turned back towards those in the wagon with him, most inexperienced adventurers. Obviously not in the mood to take any of there shit though, he decided to give them a good yelling, If only to get their asses motivated.

LISTEN UP! WERE UNDER ATTACK, ITS TIME TO GET IT TOGETHER! WHILE I COVER THE WAGON, GET TO WORK ON THE ENTOURAGE, I'LL MAKE SURE TO COVER YOU! NOW GO!

Not waiting for response, he quickly turned about and took his position at the edge of the wagon. For the next several minutes, he would fire a barrage of Rakurai's at the enemy. He try his best but he hoped to god the inexperienced used their heads. He wouldn't be able to cover them.

Still Thinking About It (Unaffiliated)
-25 HP from Combating

Pete wasn't actually annoyed by @Kamala Graham's stuff with her invisible friends. He actually thought it was cute. In a platonic kind of way. Pete wasn't quite sure she was the same person outside of the game. Going that far would be pretty weird. Pete wasn't that desperate. Yet. Or at least he didn't think he was.

When Kamala warned them, Pete stood straight up, hit his head on the wagon's ceiling, and almost hit his head again on the floor when the explosion occurred. Everything suddenly turned to poop nuggets in such a short amount of time, Pete had a hard time following what was going on. Acting on his instincts, however, he turned to his Rings of Saturnine that immediately turned green, becoming the Nature Ring of Buer. He wasn't quite sure of the lesser goddess could help him in his hour of violent needs, but Pete just rolled with it. "Please, please, please, help us take out these things instead of helping them take us out!"

The last thing they needed was for Buer to show more favor to the mushrooms and enlarge them. That would be terrible, especially since Pete would have caused it, and he wasn't in the mood to get blamed. Not again. Fortunately for Pete, the ring must've taken a cue from the loud guy (@Seto Kurama) yelling some stuff and started blasting. Pete is Danny Devito confirmed.

It was official, he hated helping people in this game now as he was stuck riding to god knows where to do god knows what all because he tried to be nice. Growling in his little spot in the overcrowded cart as the attacking started and all he could do was grumble and wiggle his was to see what was going on when they got told to attack things. Oh he was more then happy to blow off some steam as he focused on his magic and summoned a few spectral swords and took aim at the mushrooms.

"Sorry shrooms, but hope you don't take this personal... or do, ha-ha I really don't give a damn.~"

A wide grin crossing his normally monotone face as he started sending the swords out to pick off some of the foes that got within range, leaving the others for people who had better chance of taking them down. his main focus was just to slow them down by aiming for the legs or feet to pin them until his magic would fade shortly after. Not much a rookie could do, much less one who only picked the magic because it was the randomly clicked winner.

Shifting back once he was done to his spot in the cart, or rather after he got an arrow to the shoulder so he could sit down and rip it out grumbling some more about the mess he was not stuck in. It helped fuel one thing, the desire to get strong enough to not be so pushed around in this game he wanted to be his escape from such fate. This was going to be the place he did what the fuck he wanted, when he wanted, and if he felt like it to whoever. No more timid alexander, no now was the start of Thousand swords.

Avery was pleasantly surprised at how sociable her company was in the wagon. @Zelrius told the story of his infamous table blunder, which some had experienced first-hand, and it sparked hearty conversation that would persist for the days to come. The alchemist recognized one of her companions from before, @Harlow, from their trek at Hyland’s Ascent. She smiled at him when she first saw him, hoping he too would remember her. He didn’t smile back, but that wasn’t surprising.

She struggled vehemently with keeping up with all the conversation. Her lopsided hearing made noisy areas overwhelming, and though she was enjoying the chatter, she was beginning to develop a severe migraine. The noise coupled with the gentle but constant rumbling of the wagon was making her feel ill. She covered her left ear and leaned back, hoping to find relaxation for the journey ahead. Just then, the smooth ride came to a halt as the wagon jerked abruptly, almost knocking her out of her seat.

There was a loud explosion, and Avery looked out at the swarm of insects honing in on the entire expedition. Immediately she recognized the insects, and recalled from her studies that they feed by latching onto the skin of their prey.

“Everyone, if you have the time, cover every inch of your body in whatever you have.” Avery shouted a warning while throwing layers on herself, and draped whatever she could over the windows of the wagon to preserve it as a safe place amidst the chaos. “If you’re going out there, don’t leave a single piece of your skin exposed.”

The girl nodded to an encouraging @Kyoko, then positioned herself at the front of the wagon, passing out every piece of coverage she had available to her. Once Kyoko calmed them, Avery wrapped the horses in bandages and cloth
to protect them from their ravenous foes. She was focused on using her knowledge for damage control, ensuring that these disgusting creatures didn’t get the meal they so desperately craved.

Harlow was slowly lifting a teacup when the rattling of the wagon shook. The fluid splashed against the side of the cup, spilling onto the front of Harlow's robes. His dismay required no outward reaction, nor any expression, as an unsettled irritation emanated from him.

The moment he stepped free from the cart, Harlow turned to see the floodgates bursting. Terrain that was unfit for travel was trampled flat by the swarm that hurtled towards them, an ocean of ravenous death. This was not to mention the rain of bloodthirsty insect grenades that splattered the road like bursting paintballs. His thorough sight spared no horrific detail of the attack.

The plan had to be retreat, right? They had to be outnumbered. If this was unfamiliar terrain, who could say how powerful these enemies were? He took a step back, eyes flicking uncontrollably from foe to vicious foe. He stood motionless, his senses overloaded, wrought with uncertainty.

That's when something broke his concentration. A familiar face, one of his wagon-mates, @Zelrius, was dashing forwards, leaping from wagon to wagon. That was pretty much the farthest thing from retreating, and it would absolutely draw attention. They seemed to have a knack for things like that.

@Sol had summoned a menacing weapon, showing that they too would not allow hesitation to take them. He would neglect to thoroughly examine the gruesome methods employed to summon it. @Kyoko seemed to immediately find their own niche, utilizing their mastery to calm the tired, frightened horses. @Avery Aphelion was on their own mission to prevent further injuries, wrapping horses and warning allies.

Everyone had found their place, which left the question: Where did Harlow stand? He glanced towards Kyoko and Avery Aphelion, manning maintenance, both fulfilling necessary roles that would have operation up and running in short time. All he had to do was help buy them more time. "Careful." His eyes blinked between the two, disregarding Sol. He supposed the scythe wielding badass needn't such warnings.

Harlow imagined @Lucia Mierz's Sylvanas slaughtering foes, untouchable. Suddenly, the battle didn't seem hopeless at all.

"Radio check." Volume increased. Harlow raced after Zelrius. Without the agility or otherworldly speed to springboard off of wagons, he simply ran, slashing Myconids back as he rushed. "Zelrius. Approaching. On your six. Over." In the immediate combat, he would focus on protecting his ally from being overwhelmed.

His allies sure were inspiring. Harlow just had to try to keep up with them.

Something appeared very wrong with the horse @Elizabeth Lixshine was tending to. Somehow, it still managed to cart her and the rest of her wagon mates, including @Blank, @Moonsong, around for a few days.

It didn't matter what the animal's condition was, because a few minutes after the Myconids began to chase after the group, a bulbous titan of a Myconid burst out from the ground and charged through that horse like Kool-Aid man crashing through a wall, sending everyone tumbling onto the ground from the impact.

@Elizabeth Lixshine (nat-1 recipient), @Blank (post raffle #68), @Moonsong (post raffle #27) must take 65 unmodifiable damage the next time they post and are now locked from posting in C2 until they are rescued up by their allies.

To rescue the stranded wagon, which includes non-playable characters and the three names above, make a Mastery roll (Any - DC 60) to rescue them from the wreckage lest you leave them to fend for themselves (another special event next cycle).

Success Required: 2

Add "| Rescue" at the end of your rollcode to perform the rescue.

The journey to Isulus had been a relatively smooth one. That is until they actually entered the region. It didn't take long for the entourage to come under siege by some mushroom men and their pet bugs. If this was what the explorer's league had to deal with on the daily it came as no surprise they were wiped out.

Creature quickly shuffled to his feet and activated Hyper Sense. His eyes shifted to a deep crimson as a black suit of armor materialized on his figure. At his back rested a decorated greatsword. One that was no stranger to action. Near the edge of his wagon, with his feet firmly planted he'd draw his weapon and unleash an onslaught of swings on any enemy who was foolish enough to get too close.

After cutting down a few myconids in his way with ease he thought they could actually survive this. At least until one of the myconids managed to take out a whole wagon full of people. Through grit teeth Creature barked at his wagon's driver.

"There are people down over there, we have to help them NOW!"

Lucy had heard that she could be of help, so there she stood amongst every traveler and non player that had emerged from their primal huts and mishappen houses. Lucy stood amongst them ready to give as much support and help that she could offer. She didn't know anyone yet that didn't seem to bother her. A head amongst all of the heads that Lucy could barely see stuck out. She could also just sort of sensed his presence, for it was one she would not readily forget. @Haru had helped her out on day one, and she felt as though she owed him a favor. Lucy would travel lightly in a light skip before reaching up as high as she could to tap his shoulder. "Hey stranger!" Lucy would grin before interlocking her arm with Haru's, now changing her pace to match his.

Lucy had managed to make her way onto the same wagon that Haru had hopped onto. The party now racing forward, danger eminent. The horses were spooked and nature just.. felt off. Lucy would do as much as she could to help ease the stress and anxiety that everyone surely felt. That was until a wagon was steered off course. Lucy would quickly turn towards Haru and the group they had banded together. "Haru, please tell me that we'll help them..." Lucy bit her lip, she would hate if they were just stranded... "I pinkie promise I can keep us safe." Lucy reached forward, pinkie sticking out. Haru would reach forward, locking his pinkie with hers. Anything that he said now would be taken seriously, any action he would take would be held high in Lucy's mind.

Then the wagon Lucy was in got directed to head towards the wagon that had steered off course. "Let me aid them as best I can, Haru you got my back?" It was nice that she had people she could rely on to help her out. Lucy would then move to the back of the wagon, reaching out as she tiptoed and climbed half-way out. Her fingers reaching towards the plant-life surrounding them. She began to whisper kind words, communing with the nature. Letting their emotions fill her body and fuel her magic. She borrowed their pure power and began to aid the wagon that had steered away. If it wasn't for the plants that still centered an abundant amount of hatred towards Haru that seemed to distract her, maybe Lucy would have been successful.

@Lucia Mierz gains +20 buff to attack (Coordinate)

Lucia exhaled a breath, glancing back at the shattered carriage, unfortunately she was too far to help, it made her a touch bitter to think about, her odds of rescuing had been quite high after all, but at the end of the day it had happened too suddenly. Instead, she tried to mitigate what she could, gesturing with a hand, she glanced to her few specialized summons and finally gave her order in the chaos. "Just try not to damage the carts, it'll be trouble if we get turned over. Try to save them if you can." She murmured with a hand gesture causing her undead subordinates to move as one.

Sylvanas began a charge, leaving the caravan to choose violence. She wasn't afraid of her commander getting lost in battle, her undead would always survive so long as she survived. Mortimer though remained on board with her, occasionally flicking a knife into the crowdy to push away those who were crowding her own cart to try and ensure her safety at the very least. Naturally she continued with a sense of unease, exhaling a breath hoping that this would be the only major set back.

Vina enjoyed catching up with @Cleo Looker, happily chatting with her friend as they did their part in helping the expedition prepare for the road ahead. However, eventually, the preparations were complete, and they had to get on the wagons as the caravan would journey into the depths of Yladia to find out what had caused a group of experienced explorers to lose their sanity and tear each other apart. If she was willing Vina would also pull @Fina Drago onto the same wagon as herself and Cleo, wanting to spend time with both of her new friends on the road.

During the trip the vixen would entertain her friends with performances both musically and vocally, playing on her flute, singing songs, and telling tales of the more interesting and less unpleasant things she'd encountered in Terrasphere: the way the People of the Land worked together with the Travelers, the festivals and the competitions, the various interesting creatures that lived in the lands. She even managed to befriend a white falcon at some point.

She'd also volunteer to take the more tricky shifts during the several-day trip, as her self-employment meant she had more flexibility than people with more strict work schedules.

Vina had been looking around with interest and intrigue at Isulus when she heard sounds of trouble, her ears twitching as the vixen quickly stood up. Only moments later a giant insect exploded and nearly knocked over several wagons, forcing her to hold onto something so as to not fall over. Within moments the entire caravan was under attack by mushroom people, the Myconid. As everyone else was either engaging the mushrooms or trying to help the caravan get out of the assault safely Vina was still thinking of what to do when one of the carts was wrecked. That made things easier: always help out people in need.

Humming to herself, drowning out the sounds of combat, Vina felt the winds stir around her to the rhythm of her melody. Sending them towards the unfortunate people who'd been on the destroyed wagon (@Elizabeth Lixshine, @Blank, @Moonsong, and NPCs) she'd control the air to push them upwards and forwards, making them light as a feather. She couldn't push them all the way onto another wagon, but anyone else who stepped in to carry them would find they could easily carry them all.

Tensions grew as Ru proceeded through the Tangleweaves with the caravan. Though the scenery gorgeous and the trip pleasant, things had gone a bit too smoothly. It was a hallmark sign of impending disaster if Murphy's Law was applicable to this world. His concerns were quickly proven true as a species of fungal lifeforms attacked abruptly without warning.

Hanging on for dear life, the lepus ducked low within his wagon, gripping tightly to the supporting frame while looking about cautiously for incoming danger. It was then that things had taken a turn for the worse. The wagon directly behind him was overturned from a surprise attack, the others aboard sent tumbling from an unearthed Myconid.

Swift assistance came from another ( @Vina Skysong ), buying time for Ru to cast a spell. Acting quickly, eerie, spectral mana surged from his core, both arms taking on a wraith like appearance. Imbued with supernatural powers, two ghastly, claw like hands flew forth, swiping securely at the stragglers and bringing them to safety.

"Phew, are you two alright there?"

Taking a moment to gauge their conditions, a moment of disbelief crossed his face, recognizing both from the beginner's dungeon.

"Ha! Starting to see a trend here with you two and danger..." ( @Blank @Moonsong )

Mio almost swallowed her tongue when she saw what had happened to the others. The broken cart almost made her hyperventilate but she reacquired her calm the best she could, she wasn't here to risk her life, but at the end of the day this would be where the money was right? She risked her life with the Iron Hammer she could risk her life here-- With all of the fungal people though, the stakes just seemed so much higher though it set her on edge. "At least they're okay, right? Maybe we should focus on maintenance..." She couldn't help asking @Selene to see if her friend had seen the same thing as her. Worried about being involved in the dangerous combat she stuck to the safer role of maintenance.

Keeping focused though, she turned her head down to try her best to focus on the situation and keep things maintained. With her ink, she'd swing her hands trying to repair or fix things, the ink along her hands trying to keep things stable and at the ready. She wanted to do her best to try and at least craft something stable as she began making repairs using the paints and illusionary magic by erasing some of the damage.
