It had been another day of grinding for low level mobs in Pormont. Most players perhaps going around in small parties tackling groups of goblins and kobolds the best they could. There was one among them that perhaps stood out from the rest. With radiant silver hair, and a gaze of crimson red, Erendis stepped through the small battlefields casually dispatching foes with eyes peeled. She moved and swung her spear with practiced steps, but rather then grip the weapon, it almost seemed to move through her hand instead, resting on her open palm even to the point of defying gravity as it turned and rotated as she moved on it's own without needing any influence from Eren unless it was to give the weapon more speed. When things did become too dangerous for her, an odd transformation would take place causing Erendis to cry and grit her teeth as her power increased, but entering that state didn't tend to last long as she kept fighting. Stepping forward as it slid through her fingers to spear a poor creature through the neck, or sliding backwards over her wrist and around her body to parry incoming claws from behind. Turning her head sharply the spear swung around her shoulder suddenly thrusting forward following her gaze into the attacking kobold's body where the creature simply fell with the spear still buried in it falling along with it.

The sight made Erendis smile slightly. "You're getting too excited Brionac. We haven't finished grinding yet." She smiled at her partner, though the spear remained one for a while longer, it twitched and gradually revealed it's smaller form as a large heavy snake not unlike a larger anaconda. The creature with it's head sporting 2 sets of mandibles that had represented the weapon's other blades, the claw-like mandibles latched onto the corpse to hold it in place as the head began taring into the creature's flesh with shark-like teeth. Rather then a normal snake that swallowed it's prey, the serpent instead shredded and tore it to bits causing the poor creature to go from solid corpse into slaw and slurry in it's maw.

Despite the creature's ferocity, it wasn't much different from a beached whale with it's couple of fins flapping content with it's meal despite it's discomfort on land. Knowing taring it away from the meal would likely be difficult for her growing boy though, Eren settled for parking her butt on it's beck as it ate and chew making sure to stay outside of the splash zone. "We can probably get a few more fights in before we'll have to start worrying about where we going to spend the night. What do you think buddy? Should we go somewhere warm? Or we heading back to the water?" She asked, but the sea serpent was too preoccupied with blood and frenzy to give her an intelligible response. It made her chuckle again somewhat helplessly. "I guess we're sleeping in the water again huh?"

Enter the Future Queen!

Wheat fields and the scent of manure. Oh, this was a pleasant place indeed, one befitting the future Queen. The thought was dripping with sarcasm as Vivian flicked shit from her boot, dousing the smell with a blast of water from her hand, undoing the taint from her red boot. Why was she here again? Ahh. Because newbies were impressionable, and easy targets? Not exactly. It was true, she was scouting for members of her entourage, but alas, she was also looking for some companionship as well. It was hard to gain either of those with her rather extreme and out of reach goals.

Yet, they were hers and the ones that founded the basis of all that she does in TerraSphere. Among the golden wheat, she looked at new players tagging up in groups. They had a taunter, a DPS and a healer to round out the group. Fascinating.

That was until she saw someone who was alone with a rather odd looking spear. The avatars in the game were quite detailed compared to most other VR Machines, and the attention to detail that people put into the creation system had made some very bold decisions. They were all rather unique, and it made the game enjoyable as a player to see the variety.

But the one she currently had her eye on was unique as well. Flaunting her spear and taking on mobs all alone. That was interesting. Many people usually tagged up for safer adventuring. Perhaps this might be a good time to introduce herself in between breaths.

From behind, Vivian walked along the golden stalks of wheat through the fields. Black, corrupt inky bubbles seemed to float around her, pop and then leave as she reached out with her right hand. A small gesture sent a chilly into the atmosphere, and then moments later... Snow came falling from the sky. Gentle white flakes that melted upon contact, but snowing nonetheless.

"Looks to be snowing in July. Must be some kind of omen."

Vivian had stopped several feet away from the young woman. Her indigo eyes a soft gentle color and vibrant pink soft lips moved as she spoke. In the cool breeze that shifted around her from the Hydromancy, the long fuchsia hair weaved in the wind, fluttering over her features.

The Forlorn knight kept patting the Serpent's side while it buried itself in gore and viscera not wanting to disturb it too much while it was frenzied. With her spear so preoccupied with meat though, she had to resort to a secondary spear, one she was meant to dual wield but was her back up when she needed to be mounted. Though the plain spear wasn't particularly fancy, it was enough for her to defend herself. Though the woman stepping out made her hesitate, it wasn't a monster at least, so she gradually returned the beginner spear unsure of what to make of the entrance.

"Is it? It's a neat magic, I was thinking of trying something similar eventually." Eren commented thinking of Hydromancy too. Though not so much because of the ice abilities, but for water, it would help her as a mounted knight and make her spear a bit more comfortable, maybe even increase her weapon skills in the process. "The cold is nice though, I guess maybe it's bad for the fields though." She thought that might be the reason for cold being some kind of omen? If it would be bad for farmers she could sympathize, but it'd be solved by not using magic too.

Though Erendis wasn't familiar enough with the game to understand the reason for the black ink bubbles. The chilly wind and snow might be some kind of advantage or protection since that had been similar to Erendis's future plans, but the ink bubbles she couldn't really understand the purpose for. Some kind of poison or sludge? "Do the black bubbles never get you dirty on accident?" She couldn't help asking, wondering if they were important enough to be worth the risk.

Vivian smiled broadly. Pink, lush lips on full display as her indigo eyes shined over the golden stalks of wheat from the field. As she stood at her tall 5'11'' height, the woman didn't speak until she bowed her head and swept her arm over her belly.

"My name is Vivian Cruz, Future Queen of Falderen and future ruler of TerraSphere... Perhaps, one day? As for the black bubbles..."

They were certainly a curious thing. She had seen them bubble up from the surrounding ground, hover and play around her body like it was watching her or crawling along her arms and legs like it had some kind of sentience. She didn't quite understand it fully herself. With a softened sigh from her pale rose lips, the woman shook her head and danced her fingers through the air with a childish gesture.

"I honestly don't know. I do believe it might be the reason for the Corrupt Mastery I have invested deeply in. It might be different for everyone on how it weaves and alters through their mastery. I think they are kinda adorable, though. Like they have their own thoughts and actions."

Vivian got lost in her own monologue as she introduced herself, allowing the smaller bubbles to weave between her fingers before floating away from her body and disappearing elsewhere. She folded her arms over her chest and chuckled with a pointed finger at her living spear.

"That is a rather creative way to use your weapon. Were you not using it moments before to fight with? Now it is feasting. Rather interesting creation. I see you are not playing with other characters. It's not very safe to adventure alone, but I am sure you have your reasons, hmm?

Tilting her head, Eren hesitated when she introduced herself as future queen. How? Was there some kind of rule about it? Were kingdoms decided by players? Erendis couldn't help turning her head from side to side, looking for something along the lines of royal guardsmen, or advisors, expecting some kind of security detail for a future queen. She didn't have the greatest awareness though, it was there, if only just barely, but unfortunately her dexterous hands were more keen then her eyes and ears. "Ah, that sounds like fun. I've never met a queen though. Is it safe out here for you though? That kind of seems like a position seems dangerous." She spoke concerned while trying an awkward curtsy. After all she herself in reality wasn't much different from a princess, it wasn't as if she'd never met royalty or high level government officials through her family. Courtesy in the game was likely different from reality though making her unsure of how to answer besides with her innocent thought and gesture.

What was more bizarre for the woman was not knowing how her mastery worked. It almost made Erendis stare blankly a moment. How could someone use a mastery without knowing why or how? She struggled to understand, the concept at least seemed a little scary. "Is it hard to use if you don't know what it is? You're a queen after all, you should be careful you know?" She couldn't help asking out of concern, she wouldn't be able to help, but it had to be some struggle higher level people faced, maybe that was why she didn't understand.

Though when the conversation came to Brionac, Eren was a lot more confident and knowledgeable. With a gentle hand she tapped the Serpent with a smile, though it was a little reluctant it eventually relented and reverted into a spear following her hand. It turned with a gentle swish, clearly more comfortable and mobile in her hand then it was as a serpent on ground. "Brionac, a good friend. He has a few powers that make him a good partner. A living weapon also sort of synergizes with my specialty as a Sorrow Knight too. I'm glad though, if a Queen likes it it must seem neat." Erendis chuckled sweetly, happy that her friend and partner was being complimented, as if that were more valuable then being complimented herself. Though when asked about other people or characters though, Eren couldn't help bringing a hand to her head with a sigh, patting her hat and tapping the spear against her neck. "I've tried but... People don't usually like to play with me I guess. I'm not sure what it is, maybe they don't like me very much." She spoke with a small smile, trying to keep a positive outlook.

Vivian was more than pleased with the outcome of this introduction. Indigo eyes were as bright as sparkling gems from the overhead sun, her tall amorous body an object of perfection with each muscle, dip, curve and valley perfectly proportionate to her regal stature.

Long fuchsia hair unwound from off her shoulder down the small of her back, long strands framing her face and soft, plush rose lips squared into a smile. The curtsy was cute, the woman seemed to have better days with it though and Vivian acknowledged that she had at least tried to show some courtesy even if she was not a Queen at the very moment.

"Oh no. I don't have to worry about anything dangerous out here. I've been playing the game for a while now, and I have suitable armor, weapon and masteries that will ensure that I can endure whatever Pormont flings my. Well, I know HOW to use my mastery. The Corrupt one alters the properties as the name states. I do believe these black, inky bubbles are just a side of effect of said choices. I'm not entirely a person people are willing to get to know, I have a bit of a wild reputation with some others."

Vivian explained the best she could, but also watching Eren shift her serpent back into a spear, which she found to be incredibly entertaining. Living weapons were something of an idea she had, but wasn't sure how to fulfil those roles with her masteries already in use.

Sorrow Knight? That was a new term for Vivian. She had never heard of Sorrow Knights before, but a Knight nonetheless, and perhaps one worthy of being in Vivian's future Empire? Vivian was one to adopt strays, but if she could cultivate those powers and masteries for her own benefits, it might be a willing idea to throw out there.

"Perhaps they are far too jealous to not have such a creative mind with their masteries as you have. A Sorrow Knight sounds a bit lonely, but it sounds like something you are dedicated to. You know... As future Queen, I could use some knights in my future court. Perhaps you would be interested in forming an alliance? There is one other that is part of my current regime, a good woman who is more than willing to do anything for me. In the end, if nothing else... It was nice to meet a new friend, hmmm?"

Between the time she was speaking and the time it took to walk to Eren, the Sorrow Knight, Vivian was already a foot away and her hand was stretched out to shake her hand. Nothing but a sincere smile. The Future Queen did need allies, and she had more neutral parties than people who actually gave a damn about her. But perhaps giving this Sorrow Knight another reason to enjoy the game, another goal to add to her list, or just another reason to log in and do something fun or dangerous. All that was within the shake of a hand.

Erendis was a bit hesitant, but nodded all the same. It was fine to be confident in one's abilities and skills sure, Eren herself understood that even if she was a little leery of her own abilities at the moment. What she feared more though was bad actors then monsters, assassins or people who might want to be a queen or king instead. It was hard to speak up on the topic though, she could only exhale her concern and just hope things were alright. "That's a relief at least. The bubbles then are just some kind of byproduct? It's not bothering you or costing you anything is it?" She asked tilting her head, glad she wasn't using masteries without knowing, though having a bizarre byproduct was also a concern Vivian seemed to at least have it under control.

Though when talking about people being jealous of her, Eren shook her head, not sure if she was strong enough to provoke that kind of response. "It might be a little creative, but I'm not so sure it's revolutionary. I'm glad if you think so though." She spoke sweetly, small smile on her face as if her character struggled to show more kindness then just that faint smile. When her class as a Sorrow knight came up though, Erendis brought a hand to the spear's points, of the five prongs she patted the center which was no doubt the creature's head as she spoke. "It's not too bad being a sorrow knight though. I get stronger the more sadness or pain I experience, so it lets me fight a little harder and stronger." She explained, patting the spear a few times still, considering some of the pain she used to motivate herself came from the sea serpent she looked after.

The offer of an alliance, or at least a friend though was welcome. She didn't hesitate at the handshake finding the idea fun at least if nothing else. "Sure. I don't mind, it sounds fun. I'm not sure how good of a regime person I might be or anything like that, but I'm happy to help." She offered, her hand strong and supportive, small smile sweet and innocent as she shook and nodded.
