"Can't, or won't?"
The words were barely a whisper as he spoke them into her ears, his teeth giving her earlobe a quick nip that caused her to shudder in response...
"Ok then." And just like that a sudden rush of cold night air filled in the space when the man had been standing in just a second or two before.
A perplexed look settled on Valeria's features as her mind suddenly tried to comprehend what had just happened, the unexpected change in temperature having a sobering effect on the blonde. He smiled in her direction, a devious grin resting on his lips, before his hand reached for his glass of sake and took a sip.
"I'll be here when you change your mind."
With that Ari disappeared back into the hotel room, Valeria able to watch him partially before he collapsed on the neatly made hotel bed. She shivered in response as another gust of wind caressed her side, before her eyes were casted downwards and onto the glass of sake she still held in her own hand. A look of utter disappointment crossed her face then, the feeling strong enough to almost feel palpable, before her teeth trapped her bottom lip as she bit onto it in frustration. She'd never been faced with such a conundrum before, she had never
wanted someone so badly enough to trigger such an issue, and the realization caused Valeria to grip the glass on her hand tightly in response. He felt different to anyone else the girl had met in her life so far, and a small corner in the back of her mind simply knew that he was
special to her.
That's what made everything so difficult right now, causing Valeria to feel like she was stuck between a rock and a hard place as her gaze lingered back up towards the opened sliding door and the warmth light from inside the room.
"Fuuuuuuck...!" A whispered curse left her lips as her free hand rose to touch her forehead, fingers combing down her skull before they grasped the tie holding up her pony tail. Golden strands were allowed to fall freely, the tie now safely wrapped around her wrist as the fingers combed through her hair—trying to ease her muddle thoughts.
She paced outside for a moment, struggling to find a right answer, before another glance was given at the glass on her left hand.
"Ay que se joda...!" With those whispered words the blonde brought the glass to her lips, knocking the contents within back in one go before grimacing and coughing as the alcohol burned down her throat.
Liquid courage, that's what many called it, was something that Valeria felt she'd need a lot of right now. The now empty glass was discarded atop the small coffee table in the balcony, before her steps finally brought the girl back into the hotel room. A hand moved to carefully close the sliding door once more, a soft and long exhale escaping her lungs then, before her eyes turned to look at the man laying atop his bed peacefully. His eyes were closed, the glass currently being nursed as it rested atop his chest, and for a moment Ari looked like the very poster child of angelical innocence.
Quietly she removed her sneakers, the socks following as she stuffed them into each shoe. They were then neatly lined up against a corner of the wall, before her steps took her over to the bed. She crawled onto it then, her hands pressing down against the mattress to support her weight, before the blonde shifted herself closer to the man. A hand reached out tentatively at first, stopping mid air for just a moment, before Valeria shook her head and steeled her nerves. She reached over him then, her arm wrapping around his waist softly as the blonde curled up in the empty spot by his side—a spot that felt so warm and familiar Valeria could've sworn it had been made just for her. Her head rested against his shoulder, a deep sigh escaping through slightly parted lips, as the girl chose to focus her gaze onto the sake glass Ari was holding instead of his face.
"I w-want to... I want you," She could feel the heat quickly rising upon her cheeks once more, though if it was out of sheer embarrassment or the insane amount of sake she'd downed but a few moments before was anyone's guess. Still a part of Valeria figured it was working the way she'd hoped, able to get the words out this time even when the tightness in her chest was almost suffocating.
"... but I c-can't, I haven't... I've never been withsomeoneelsebefore."
